Christ’s reply

Section C – Famine and earthquakes.

This one is the hardest to show. Mainly due to the sources from which we can gather this information cannot be fully trusted. What can be said in the research I did perform that I find they tend to be on the increase for both.

Ever since the beginning of the 20th century there has been a gradual increase in the number of earthquakes. I also noted that in most of the charts shown up to the current year these charts that were made there was a slight decrease. However, I must add that from an example one made in 2008 there was a decrease three to four years previous this date. Yet one made in 2015 showed 2008 higher than the number shown in the 2008 chart and that once again there was a decrease between 2011 and 2015. What can clearly be said is that earthquakes are dramatically higher and more destructive.

NOTE:

Once again, I must note that this was written in 2017. Since then it must be noted that earthquakes have taken a dramatic shift toward the worst. Just this year in 2020 there have been hundreds of small earthquakes and even a few larger that has been experienced between the original writing of this study of the Olivet Discourse and now. It can also be noted that the magnetic north pole has moved from Canada to Siberia and is still moving. There has also been documentation of an increase in underground lava movement around several volcanoes throughout the world.

As for the famines. It appears that “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” by BandAid in the 1980s was just that a Band-Aid for the problem that has never truly been eliminated. However, it sure made those on the left feel good about themselves for a couple of years. So famine is still ever present in this world and those with wealth continue to horde unto themselves as they live in their mansions shouting for the masses to give their money while they do nothing truly themselves.

Beginning with the predictions that are to follow. These begin to occur after the beginning. These events signal the soon return of Christ. It is when these become prevalent and obvious it is time to keep aware and plan for the soon return of the Messiah.

NOTE:

In addition, that the  placement of earthquakes last in the previous verse and that fact that there has been a dramatic increase in them can also be significant to the way Jesus was foretelling of future events. Showing that their increase can substantiate the previous predictions and those that are to come. In other words, they serve as a pivot point to show that we are nearing His return and the end of the world as we now know it.

Section D – Persecution of Christians

These verse gives great detail as what to expect to see fulfillment of this prophecy:

“Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers.”

In the Middle East due to the rise of ISIS this is once again becoming a reality. In fact, it was reported that last year (2016) the most persecuted religion was the Christian religion. It has happened in the past but is once again on the rise. Again, pointing to a rise in this treatment of the followers of Jesus Christ.

NOTE:

As of this recording of this study of the Olivet Discourse. Once again there has been a change for the worst.

In recent months groups throughout the world have been having violent protests. None believe in God or His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Amongst their symbolism has returned to the world the guillotine first made famous in, what I personally considered, to be the first socialist revolution, the French Revolution. This helps to verify that those that turn to Christ in the first three and a half years of the Tribulation will possibly find one of these waiting for them if they refuse to take the mark. Additionally those in places of power are calling for lists to be drawn up of those that oppose their way of thinking,  which will lead to removal from jobs, arrests and perhaps worse.

Section E – Apostasy and betrayal

“And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other.”

Apostasy is defined as the act of giving up your religious or political beliefs and leaving a religion or a political party per Cambridge dictionary.

Now what many do not realize is that giving up on your religious believes does not mean you outright deny your faith. You just stop desiring to follow the teaching of the Bible. Millions live this way daily. Millions go through their life thinking they are “believers” when this is the furthest thing from the truth. They are living an apostate life. They live a lukewarm life. They live a “religious” life. This is something that has been occurring within the United States since God was removed from the schools in the 1960s and has been increasing exponentially ever since. This also fits in with prophecies from the book of Daniel and Revelation in reference to an apostate religion.

In the 2016 election the betrayal began to be seen clearly. As friends and family deleted each other’s names from Facebook.

Again, we see fulfilment of the words of Jesus Christ coming to be.

NOTE:

In the 2020 election what began in the 2016 election has magnified and the betrayal is even more visible than it was in that election. Violence is a factor of this betrayal that is dividing the once Untied States into the Fractured States. All due to the removal of God from the equation.

Also a clear dividing line was established as 71+million voted for one group while 74+ million the other group. Most not realizing that God was in fact causing the second great division of the sheep from the goats.

Noted suggested listening:

This was hit upon slightly in the podcasts entitled “Light and Darkness,” “The Bitter Pill” and “Forced Righteousness.”

Section F – Increase in false prophets and false teachers

Once again, we must turn to the 1960s when God was removed for the education system. Also, at this time more “liberal” views were being taught on the college campuses throughout the world.

Since the Bible was being read and taught less and less. This allowed for the growth of false teaching and beliefs to rise throughout the world. Causing many to think they were learning the ways of God and the Bible when in reality they were not. This is what false teachers do, which lead to those that called themselves prophets. A visual example of this can be seen from movies. It recent years movies about Noah, and Moses have been shown to the world that are totally false teachings of the Bible and are even anti-God. Additionally a new Ben Hur was released and again a perversion of this 19th century book originally dedicated to the life of a man coming to know and accept Jesus Christ has his Savior.

A prime example of a false teacher was the May 21, 2011 through October 21, 2011 prediction of the coming Rapture by Harold Camping.

In 1 Thessalonians it says this:

2 – For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

No one of the creation can know of the return of Jesus Christ. So, for Mr. Camping to have named these dates showed him for what he truly is a false prophet and false teacher of the Gospel.

It is due to the fact that so many have not read the Bible, nor know the true teachings within it that have allowed many like this man to come into a place of power and control over many. Another example of this is Joel Osteen who preaches of wealth here in this temporal reality when the Bible makes it clear that to seek after a reward here takes away from our reward in the eternal life to come. (Matthew 6:19-20)

These are only two major examples, but there are hundreds out there and millions listen to them and think they are on the right path to God. When in reality they are going further and further away from eternal salvation.

Section G – Open sin will be seen everywhere:

“Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.”

Since 2008 this has become very prevalent in the United States of America. It has been like this for some time in most other countries in the world. Sinners are no longer ashamed to hide in the darkness. They come out into the light in joy and celebration, for the left has embraced them and allowed them to show all their sinful nature.

At the same time many grow more distant more self-involved all due to the cellphone. Studies have already come out showing how the cellphone is causing people to have poor interpersonal skills, amongst other tendencies that are now causing poor social interaction.

The heart of many are growing very cold due to not knowing the Bible nor even knowing of God. Very few people go to church and those that do, go to network more than to come to truly know God.

Also, as violence increases, they come to look upon it as just part of everyday life. When this was the furthest thing from the truth in the 1950s and early 1960s.

Section H – Spreading of the Word of God to all nations:

“And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it.”

Even though within the United States has seen a decline in a desire to know God. Other nations in the world seek to know God. Some to the point that they do it in secrecy and hiding from their governments who would imprison them at the least if they were found out. But they do it anyway. So the Word of God is making its way throughout the world, though there are still some areas that the Gospel has not yet been heard even now.

Here ends the warning signs of what to look for, for the soon return of Christ and the coming Tribulation. These signs are now widespread throughout the entire world for the first time ever in history. One of the last of which is that sin will be rampant everywhere. That is now for certain, for most of the world has turned its back upon the Bible and think of it at the very least as a guide and not law. But it is law, God’s law. We are told not to turn from it. But most have and so we now know that we are in the end times of this current civilization. Woe unto to those that do not heed the warning sign and think only of the here and now and themselves only.

In the next podcast we will look into signs of the Tribulation

Welcome again to another broadcast this is once again Deamwalker1960

Today we continue our multiple part series on the Olivet Discourse. We pick up from where we left off last week.

Discussion

Christ’s reply

Section A – The rise of false prophets and false teachers

In Matthew 24. There are two references to this. The first is in verses 4 and 5. The next is in verse 11. After what as was explained in the previous part of this series as the transition point. So these are two separate events, even though related in part.

The precursor events of verses 4 and 5 have a stipulation from Christ Himself and it is something that all should heed and try to understand. So, let’s look at these two verses in the KJV and then break it down further so we can truly understand.

4 – And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

These false prophets have one dangerous element to them. It is something many did not even recognize, nor do they even see it today. We are warned not to allow ourselves to be deceived by our fellow humans. For we are all just the creation of God, and so we are to be alert to the truth and this can only come from knowing the true meaning of the Bible, by reading it ourselves. Let us look at the beginning of verse 5:

“For many shall come in my name.” He makes this very clear. That there will be those that say they come in the name of Jesus Christ Himself.

“My name.”

My – G3450 – mou- I, me, mine own, my

Name – G3686 – onoma – name, character, fame, reputation

They say they will come in the name of Christ, yet they will not. They will be there pretending to be doing the will of God through Christ but in reality, they shall be attacking upon their own belief.

A prime example of this is the popes of the Catholic Church. A church that requires to follow rituals, pray to statutes and to seek after God not through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, but through Jesus’ mother. They also said that it was due to God that the crusades take place to take Jerusalem form Muslims. They also stated that if you give them money, they would give you a piece of paper permitting to live a life of open sin.

Their actions and behavior were finally shown for what they were when true copies of the writing of the Gospel came to light due to the fall of Constantinople, which brought Greek copies into possession of men like Martin Luther. This led to the Reformation when it was found that the Latin verses of the Gospel has been changed and perverted by those within the early Catholic Church. Does this mean that there have been no one that can call themselves “Christian,” from the Catholics? No it does not. For there are have been many that have come from that church that are truly Christian.

This however proves what Jesus was forewarning of. Those that say they are in the service of Jesus Christ, but in reality, are in service only for their own lust, greed and desires.

This is why Christ gave the warning so that those that saw the truth would not blindly follow those that did as many did in the early years of the Catholic Church. So, as you can see this statement has been relevant ever since the time that Christ Himself walked amongst us, till now and pertains to any type of religious group, and so must be tested upon through the Bible.

Section B – Rumors of wars

Now in the first part of this series I uses this as an example. At that time, I showed that this world in general has constantly be in a state of wars and rumors of wars. I also established that at the beginning of 20th century things start to change. Here things call “world wars” took place. Something that had never been even thought possible before that war actually occurred. It must also be pointed out that it was due to events that took place in this first of two world wars that laid the foundation for the return of the Jewish people to the lands that was theirs up until 70 A.D.

An uneasy peace took place between 1918 and 1939, which was really a time of rebuilding and restocking more than an actual peace. As a result, the Second World War took place, which resulted in the death of over eighty million lives worldwide and in particular the death of over six million Jews. It was the death of the latter that resulted in making the Jewish people to return to their homeland to escape a future rise in anti-Semitism, which has been on the rise since 2009 due in large part by the election of president Obama. A person who made it clear that he hated the nation of Israel and everything it stood for.

At the end of the Second World War, the world has never known peace. There have been wars and rumors of wars. The United States was involved in two wars that the same time since 9/11/02 and in reality, we still are.

NOTE:

At the time this was written in 2017, this was true. Events have transpired since the election of Trump to the presidency in 2016, which had not come to light at the time this was written. We are now in one war and in the process of removing ourselves from that. Also there has been several peace treaties, which I personally was shocked by. However, there are still other wars present elsewhere throughout the world.

Now to continue:

It must also be noted that these verses themselves has a division.

Matthew 24:6-7 – And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. 7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.”

In the KJV it says:

6 – And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom”

Nation – G1484 – ethnos – a race, people, nation; the nations, heathen world, Gentiles

Kingdom – G932 – basileia – kingship, sovereignty, authority, rule, especially of God, both in the world, and in the hearts of men; hence: kingdom, in the concrete sense

So, let’s use this in the verse now:

For races of people will rise up against other races and countries shall rise up against other countries.

This has always been an issue, but since 2008 this has been amplified by the Obama leadership of the United States. It is also being seen in Europe. A prime example of this was the 2016 New Year’s rape parties of Muslim men that went through the streets of Germany raping German national females.

NOTE:

Now as I stated this was first written in 2017. At that time different leadership was present. Now in 2020 there is different leadership that has exposed a doctrine that is being spread throughout the bureaucracy and the school systems call “Critical Race Theory.” This initiative has been teaching people to actually return to a state of racism that has not existed since the 1960’s. This has resulted in destroying the sacrifice made by Martin Luther King when he was assassinated. This has actually made these verses to be even more fulfilled than they were three years ago.

So both the prophecies of Section A and Section B are fulfilled and ongoing.

This will end this part for this series. Return next week as we continue to explore the Olivet Discourse.

Intro

Welcome again to another podcast and I am Dreamwalker1960. Once again, I request that if you have been listening to me to click the “Follow” button on which ever platform you are listening to these messages on as I reach another milestone with episode 25

Today, I will be starting a multiple part series that I first published on my blog site in 2017. It is about the Olivet Discourse. Within it I will also make reference to the John Walvoord Prophecy Commentaries, which I highly recommend.

Discussion

In the book of Matthew, we come to the twenty-fourth chapter. Within this chapter is Jesus teaching of events to come.

The audience

Those that listen to this message is not the masses or those in religious power. This message is to those chosen by Jesus Himself to be his closest followers. His apostles. All twelve were present for this. The last time, really all would be together for this important lesson that Jesus was to bestow upon them.

For the most part they did not understand. They were still blinded to the fact the Jesus was more than a man, more than human. It is something they still stayed blind upon until after His resurrection.

Even though many have studied the word of God. Many of these are still blind to the full truth. God’s plan is complicated, as is the fact that we live within corrupt and sinful bodies. For these reasons God allows us insight to His plan as it is needed and to those that are willing to listen and understand. It has always been this way and it will continue to be so.

The fact that the apostles did not see is telling and something that all of us need to ponder and think upon. For there is much misunderstanding and misinterpretations of this Bible. This is shown in the fact that there are so many subgroups within the Christian faith itself. The Methodist think this way, the Baptist that way, and at the same time the Catholics think an entirely different way. Not realizing that they are all committing a sin, for God says we are to not do this, but to all think in the same manner. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

What is important is that each and every person study the Bible for themselves and never take the words of others as the truth. We are all to seek true understanding of the Bible. If you hear a version that is too far away from what you know. Confirm or deny it yourself by painstakingly studying the scriptures. If what the other says does not match the Bible. Turn away from them and do not listen.

Jesus had already reached this point with the people of Israel. They had rejected Him. So he taught important facts like He is about to relate only to the apostles and no one else. For at that time, even though they didn’t understand most of what he said they would later have the scales fall from their eyes and they would see and understand. That is still true today for those that have accepted Christ as our Savior. In time the scales will fall when the time is right and we will come to understand.

The prediction of the destruction of the temple

Matthew 24:1-2 – As Jesus was leaving the Temple grounds, his disciples pointed out to him the various Temple buildings. 2 But he responded, “Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”

It is this statement that causes the apostles to start to think and ponder as they left Jerusalem that day. What Jesus was referring to was the events that would transpire in 70 A.D. some forty year in the future, and only six years after the final completion of the overall temple itself.

The questions

Matthew 24:3 – Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?

Jesus mentioning the destruction of the temple led the apostles to think that the destruction of the second temple would signal His return to earth. This is why they posed the questions to Him in such a manner. Not realizing that their two questions had two completely different answers.

One point that does need to come to light here is the pattern in which are followed with respect to the first temple. When Solomon’s temple was destroyed in 586 B.C. it was followed by Israel’s captivity to the gentile nation of Babylon, which lasted seventy years. It is during this time period, it must be noted, that Daniel lived and wrote his prophecies.

But back on point, it is the fact the temple is destroyed and then there is exile for the Jewish people from their homeland. When the second temple is destroyed the Jewish people are spread throughout the world and do not return to Israel and re-establish the nation until 1948.

The pattern is one that is constant with the Jewish people. They have faith, they fall from their faith. They rebel, they are punished. Each time they are punished it is worse than the time before.  This is God showing all that to spare the rod is to spoil the child and thus rebellion. So God never spared the rod and each punishment suited the nation as a whole, and each one worse than the last. A pattern that is in force even now.

So if they had pondered it correctly they would not have thought that the destruction of the temple meant His return, but their rejection as a nation of God once again.

In today’s climate you can see that out of all the generations before this one that is currently on the rise, there was a form of discipline. Within the last few decades though, discipline has become something discouraged and as a result the youths in all societies no longer respect their elders and in turn are rebelling. Does this not point to a coming correction form God Himself? I think it does, and woe unto to those that deny the existence of God.

So, the questions are:

  1. When will the temple be destroyed?
  2. What signs will single Christ’s return and the end of the world?

As I have just pointed out these are not related, but, to the apostles, they were. All due to their current blindness when they asked the question. The answers are covered as we progress through this series.

Christ’s reply

It is important to note that Jesus does not mention what will happen forty years later when the second temple is destroyed by Roman. What he goes into though is the true core of their question. What the disciples’ minds were truly seeking an answer for. This is where Jesus takes them in the beginning of His reply to their inquiry:

Matthew 24:4-14 – Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, 5 for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. 7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come. 9 “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. 10 And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. 12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.

We will look at this response one point at a time, but let’s establish these points:

A) The rise of false prophets and false teachers: “Don’t let anyone mislead you, 5 for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.”

B) Rumors of wars: “And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. 7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.”

C) Famine and earthquakes: “There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.”

D) Persecution of Christians: “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers.”

E) Apostasy and betrayal: “And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other.”

F) Increase in false prophets and false teachers: “And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people.”

G) Open sin will be seen everywhere: “Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.”

H) Spreading of the Word of God to all nations: “And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it.”

What needs to be noted in Jesus response to the apostles is that it works in two parts. For there is a transition that takes place when Christ says, “But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.” Or in the KJV: “All these are the beginning of sorrows.” There will be events that are not as obvious to those that live in the times of these events. However, when after the beginning things will become more obvious more clearly seen, harder to deny. The events after the transition marks an escalation not only in the evidence of these events, but in magnitude to not only the numbers affected but at the speed at which it occurs. As an example. Let’s look at rumors of wars. As Roman fell apart, small countries took over former provinces of Roman and many went to war with each other. As time progressed and these new nations settled in there were still unease between many and so time to time war would break out. As we came into the 20th century wars escalated to the point of two world wars and after the second there has never been any year since when there was never any peace. The world at one point or another has been in constant war ever since 1945 till today.

Here we will end part 1 of these series, and we will continue this next week. Until then:

God Bless

URGENT must read for those that voted in the November 3 2020 election.

This is a special post taken out of protocol for my new setup of my podcast and this blog working in unison.

This is aimed at those that live in the United States and call themselves “Christian.”

Earlier this week we had our nation election for president. Both men running are seen as unsuitable. But this is not aimed at these men. This is in reference to one particular aspect that truly defines and separates these two groups, which each of these men are being the figurehead for at this time.

This one defining element is abortion.

When looked at from a Biblical perspective. (Deuteronomy 12:31, 18:10; Psalm 106:37-41)  It is seen for what it truly is. Human sacrifice to whatever god those that perform these atrocities worship. Themselves, their money, their position in life, whatever.

It is still the killing of an innocent for the reward of their parent to live the life they wish to lead without the burden and financial drain this child they chose to create will place upon them.

Over 60 million Americans voted for the group that wishes to keep this practice going. Within this number are those that call themselves “Christian.”

It is these people I am here to address.

God warned Israel time and again not to turn from Him, but they did. He allowed Babylon to cast them out. Then they turned again and then the temple was desecrated. Then finally due to their disobedience in 70 AD the people were spread throughout the world. These were test from God for people He had given a blessing to.

Will this election was that very test for those that call themselves “Christian,” within the United States.

The turmoil we are not experiencing due to no clear winner being achieved on Wednesday morning is the direct result of those that call themselves “Christian” voting for abortion. Voting for human sacrifice.

Do not start to protest and get angry because you could not stand the current president.

This is not about the man.

As a “Christian” your first responsibility is to God and no one or anything else.

So, the men running are not a factor.

What is a factor is committing idolatry.

It is here that there will be those that say they have never been part of an abortion.

The Bible makes it clear that to condone or allow a sin makes you guilty of this very sin yourself. (James 4:17; Ephesians 5:3-7, 5:11; Romans 1:28-32)

So, you are guilty of committing the sins that are supported by the group that also wishes to continue abortion. You are guilty by association, and so are answerable to these sins to God.

This is why we are in turmoil right now.

This turmoil will either continue or diminish.

Which do you wish to see?

The only way to diminish these troubling times is to repent.

You must renounce your affiliation to those that wish to be of and with the world. (James 4:4)

You must return to God through Jesus Christ your Savior. You must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

You must turn away from sin. ALL SIN.

You must start to seek your treasures in Heaven and to end seeking treasures here on earth.

REPENT!!

Now not tomorrow.

NOW!!

Before the lawsuits reach the SCOTUS.

For once they do reach the SCOTUS it will be too late if you have not repented and we will go quicker toward the Tribulation and the end of days.

For Jesus Christ will be coming within this generation, for that is what the Bible says will happen when we see the signs of His soon return. They are happening NOW!

You must repent NOW!!

Discussion

As I have established in past podcasts. I have been tasked by God to try and reach out to those that are lukewarm. Most that fall into this category don’t even know that they are, which is one of the problems I have to face in trying to cause these that fall into this group to awaken to the truth before they find themselves still here upon this earth after the first Rapture.

The lukewarm are a reality. I did not say this, the Glorified Jesus Christ says this. All my podcasts have been aimed to try and help those that fall into this group. I am being led by the Holy Spirit in what I write about and what you hear or read. Depending upon which form you partake of this message. I have been called to reprove, rebuke and exhort per 2 Timothy 4:2, just like all others that call themselves truly “Christian.” That is why I go to such effort to spell out the teaching within the Bible which point out that to not be lukewarm we must be fully active in our faith in our salvation through Jesus Christ

Too many have a false impressions upon the Truth. Which led them to first enter into the realm of the lukewarm that in turn leads them in many cases even farther away from God into the realm of the religious.

Now here I will have lost some of you. Because many have a true misunderstanding of faith and religion. They think they are one and the same. Well they aren’t.

I encountered a meme the other day in which it stated that people turned away from God because they had a bad encounters with religious people. The close of the meme was that Christ had a bad encounter as well… they crucified Him.

Now do you start to understand?

The sin that God dislikes the most is hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy – G5272 – hupokrisis – acting under a feigned part; that is (figuratively) deceit

  1. Feigned – pretended, sham, counterfeit
  2. Sham – that is not what it purports to be, a spurious imitation, fraud or hoax

This is what he called the religious leaders of the Jewish people to their face. It is they that had turned the temple in a den of thieves. For they were the thieves. It is this behavior that has been a factor in me not attending the buildings called “churches.” For I encounter more that live a religious lifestyle than I see living a righteous life.

This is something that is mentioned within the Bible.

James 2:2-4 – For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes. 3 If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well, 4 doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?

Let’s key in on verse 4. Here it is in the KJV.

Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Now how did the religious leaders behave toward Jesus Christ?

They didn’t like Him. They were jealous of His affect upon the people. He welcomed those that they turned away. He challenged their behavior to the point of Christ becoming angry when it came to the selling of offerings inside the Temple. As well as exchanging monies for those that came to Jerusalem form outside of Israel for fees that were most likely exorbitant and were a hindrance upon those that were in need to exchange their currency just so they could worship God in the Temple made for Him and the Arch of the Covenant.

This behavior can be seen throughout many of the buildings that are called “churches” today. Their focus is upon the world and filling the pews to gain income to live in expensive homes instead of someplace modest and unassuming. As well as giving most of the money that comes into their care to those in need. Instead it goes into their pockets.

While many that attend have the same focus and seek to have wealth here upon the earth and to live in luxury and splendor. This is not a righteous life but a worldly life. Thus, entering them into the realm of the lukewarm and then finally in the realm of the religious hypocrite.

Those that are religious are hypocrites. This has not changed in thousands of years.

What has changed is that people are unaware of this in many cases. Having come from generations living this same lifestyle and never questioning if it was right since it was counter to how we are told to live our lives within the Bible. May think they are right with God when in reality they have forgotten Him.

One of the many things that the religious leaders did in the time of Christ, was to go through the motions of belief thus leaving belief behind. In one instant Christ mentions the priest that stands upon the corner shouting out his prayers and going through ritualistic behavior. (Matthew 6:5)

That is how many go through life now. They are getting their rewards here and now. Not in heaven where we are told to store up our treasures. They are living their comfort and luxurious life in the here and now. This live, that at the most, lasts just over one hundred years. Before the flood a human could live hundreds of years. We are promised by God to live billions of years.

However, people would rather live gloriously in a mere hundred. Then to live a wondrous life without boundaries for billions upon billions of years.

Jesus walked amongst us. Jesus went head to head with those that lorded their positions over the common people.

Matthew 20:25 – But Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them.

“Rulers in this world”

So, they were the world. They were the leaders of the Jewish synagogue, the Jewish Temple. Yet they were the world. They were the very definition of hypocrisy. Does this start to sink in? That there are those within the church building communities that live a religious life. Nowhere near God.

2 Timothy 3:5 – They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

“Stay away from people like that!”

For nearly two thousand years many blamed the Israelites for the death of Jesus Christ. They caused them to be persecuted, imprisoned, killed and hounded throughout the centuries. But in reality it wasn’t the Jews, but the members of the Sanhedrin that killed Him. It was the hypocrites that killed Him. It was the religious that killed Him.

Those that are religious go about acting like they are righteous when in reality they are something that is worthy of being spit out from the body of Christ. Many that are religious live openly in lives of sin. Parading like they are right with the Lord. When in truth they are not even welcome at the gates to heaven.

This is not me saying this. This is Jesus Christ saying this. For as I mentioned earlier if you are seeking to have a righteous life. Yet, you are walking into a life that is neither hot nor cold toward Jesus. You are lukewarm. Once you are fully entrenched into this life. Christ will spit you out of the Body. Where you will become fully religious living a life of hypocrisy, and no longer welcome in heaven.

Revelation 3:15-16 – “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!

The Glorified Jesus Christ goes on to give those that live this lukewarm life a chance to redeem themselves. For God will never abandons us. He will always give us an opportunity to turn away from the life of a hypocrite and return to Him. For it is fully up to each individual to address their own lives. To either turn toward the darkness of sin, making that sin their master and focal point. Or toward the light of salvation through Jesus Christ. To truly seek out a righteous life void of sin as best can be accomplished within these corrupt bodies we live within.

Revelation 3:17-19 – You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. 18 So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see. 19 I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.

Gold purified by fire is gold that is not of this world, but part of our enteral treasure that is stored for us in the life that will be lived for billions of years, not in heaven but here on earth or where ever God sends us in His service. The fire is trials and tribulations that come from turning away from sins that are now that which you love the most. Which, may include turning away from some other human being that you share this sin with, and will devastate you emotionally. But to acquire this gold this sacrifice must be made.

White garments, made so by being truly bathed in the blood of Jesus Christ our Savior. Washing the sins away from us as we repent of our sins. Pleading and even begging of God to forgive us every single day of our lives until we are called into the holding place that is called Heaven.

The ointment of being filled with the Holy Spirit and being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Which in turn will wash away the scales form our eyes and allow us to see the real truth. To be able to see what is righteous and what is evil. Allowing us to turn away from that which will lead us to our destruction in the life of the lukewarm.

And remember it is better to have turmoil in our lives for that means that God is seeking to correct and discipline us, for God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ loves us. So desire to seek after a righteous life with Jesus as your King.

Revelation 3:20-22 – “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. 21 Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.

22 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.”

God Bless.
