The true meaning of the word “repent”


The Lord has pressed upon me to address the true meaning of “repent.” In the King James, which is the closest English version available to the original Hebrew and Greek, the word appears a total of 43 times, most of which are in the New Testament. Within that part of the Bible it is the same word except for three times. Twice in 2 Colossians and once in Hebrews.
Twenty times in the New Testament the word used for repent is:
Metanoeo – to think differently or afterwards, i.e. reconsider from Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance; I repent, change my mind, change the inner man (particularly with reference to acceptance of the will of God) [expanded definition].
In the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (Kittel) thirty-eight pages is devoted to the word, I will not spend that much time upon it. In the primary definition of the word metanoeo, which is a compound word from “meta” and “noieo,” in the NTD two main definition are given. In the first these phrases stick out “to change one’s mind,” “to adopt another view,” “to change one’s feelings” and “to change one’s resolve or purpose.”
Now just ponder those phrases.
Your mind is changed from what it once was, causing you to adopt another view of life, which causes your feelings to change, giving you a new resolve and purpose in life. This implicates that you thought wrongly, your view of your life was incorrect. You had feelings that you no longer wish to pursue and so with a new resolve and purpose you seek to change and no longer live your life in such a manner.
Here are the key phrases from the second definition of the word “metanoeo:” “if the change of mind derives from recognition that the earlier view was foolish, improper, or evil, there arises the sense ‘to regret,’ ‘to feel remorse,’ ‘to rue.’” “If I had known better I would have acted otherwise.”
Later into the thirty-eight pages it specifically addresses Jesus view and meaning of the word repent. It spends nearly three pages discussing this view point and boils down to this:
He took John the Baptist’s meaning of the word and expanded upon it. To quote: “But Jesus does not merely repeat the call of the Baptist. He modifies and transcends it by making conversion a fundamental requirement… To call to conversion is the purpose of His sending.”
So repentance is the true sign that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, and when you feel true repentance you feel regret, remorse and you feel bitter sorrow over the sins you have committed. This allows you to stop living in these sin.
If you do not feel regret, if you do not feel remorse, if you do not feel sorrow, then you are not repentant. You have not experienced the word “repent” as is known in the Greek as “metanoeo.”
Now for the other word as was mentioned in Colossians and Hebrews:
Metamelomai – I change my mind (generally for the better), repent, regret in Strong’s. In the NTD the word means “to experience remorse.”
Remorse – in the Merriam-Webster definition of this word is “a gnawing distress arising from a sense of guilt for past wrongs”
So this once again points to a past way of living. A past way of thinking. A past way of living. So again I say if you live within a sin and feel no need to end this sin then it is your master. It is your king. It is the sin that is control of your life. You may say the words “but I am a Christian,” but if you have not been truly born again (John 3:3), you will never feel true repentance and so are not one with God. You are living within a lukewarm life of more saying you are “Christian” but living of and within the world, within the sin and so per Revelation 3:15-16 you shall be spit out of the Body, by Christ Himself.
Please think upon this, pray upon this and I pray you make the right choice. Not for me, but for your own eternal life.

Why do so many listen to false teachers?


As promised I would like to discuss those that say that only certain parts of the Bible need be listened to. I will go further into that shortly when I address the letter to Galatia from Paul, but first I wish to make it clear that I have nothing to gain by my writings and know for a fact that I will be hated by many for what I have said and what I will say. I have been called a “Nazi hunter.” I have been called a “homophobe.” I have also been called much worse, but that means nothing to me. For I know it is not me they are attacking, but my message, which comes from the Bible and so comes from God. So in actuality it is not me they are attacking or insulting but it is God Himself they are calling names and berating. I know I am not perfect, but I get my message and my knowledge from one source: The Bible. The entire Bible. I know without a doubt that God is real. I know without a doubt that Jesus is alive this very moment having risen from the dead, the final example that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, is the Son of God.
It is through the Bible that we learn how to be true servants to God. Within the Bible it also warns of what to look out for, what to avoid, and to be alert against.
1 Galatians 1:6-12 – I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Removed – metatithemi – (a) I transfer, mid: I go over to another party, desert, (b) I change. To turn from, to fall away, to become apostate (NTD)
Apostate – a person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle
Another – heteros – another, different; of uncertain affinity; (an-, the) other or different:–altered; something which is not identical with what has been referred to previously. – is revoked by the apostle (NTD)
Gospel – euaggelion – the good news, The Gospel as thus proclaimed is heard (NTD)
NOTE: In the first two verses set before you we find Paul is confronting an issue. There are those that were taught the true gospel, the story of Jesus Christ, but they have turned their back upon these teachings for an altered version of these teachings and so have fallen away from their salvation. This is happening today as well. When people take a few words form the Bible and say it is biblical fact. Or when they take only the certain parts of the Bible and do not teach the book in its entirety. Example: Say that God loves all, but leaving out the fact that if you do not repent and stop sinning you will become an apostate.
Preach any other gospel – euaggelizo – I bring good news, preach good tidings. {1}
Other – para – properly, near; from, in the presence of. A preaching contrary to that previously commanded. (NTD) {1}
Accursed – anathema – a curse, a cursed thing. For Paul the word denotes the object of a curse
NOTE: In verses 8 and 9 it is made clear that if anyone even an angel does not fully and correctly teach the true gospel then they are to be cursed, damned. This is why it is so very important to teach the entire Bible, both the old and the new and completely. Not just the love of God but the anger of God as well and the result of making God angry.
To please – aresko – I please, serve. Where serving men and being the slave of Christ are brought into contrast. (NTD)
In the next verses it is made clear by how Paul worded the sentence that men were changing the teaching of Christ to please men, which would allow them to continue in their sinful lifestyles but feel they were one with God which it is made clear earlier this is the furthest thing from the truth. He says clearly that if he only taught that which would please men he would no longer be a true servant of Christ.
Revelation – apokalupsis – an unveiling, uncovering, revealing.
NOTE: It this usage of the word “revelation” it was due to the fact that Jesus Christ appeared to Saul in person and so due to this he became Paul the servant of the Messiah. He did not learn for any human source but by Christ’s appearance to him.
2 John 1:10 – If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
Here is it made clear that those that do not give the full and true version of the Bible they are not to even be received or bid a blessed farewell. For they do not represent God, but man or even the father of all lies.
So any that does not tell you that if you continue to live in sin you are not one with God, but may even be considered to be the enemy of God.
James 4:4 – Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
The friendship – philia – friendship, affection, fondness, love. It is first of all love for; are the strongest ties of love;
NOTE: The meaning is that the world has more power over the people then God does. They embrace the ways of the world. The culture of the world. The daily activates of the world over those of the Bible and God. The lukewarm of Revelation 3:15-16. They call themselves of God but love the world more and so are hypocrites.
You cannot live in sin and in the world and be a true Christian. You must pick one over the other, and far too many choose the world over God. Going about acting like everyone else is not true Christianity. Does this mean to act superior then others? By no means. The Bible makes it very clear we are to be servants, humble. If you think you are superior then others then you are a Pharisee and not a true child of God. It is extremely important to read the Bible yourself, to know the Bible yourself and to share the knowledge of Jesus Christ yourself by action at the very least, by telling people of your Savior at the most.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: I see it now, I understand


But that does not mean I have to set back and allow it to happen without making some effort to help others to know that God is real. I have been a glimpse into His plan. It is sad. It is joyous. It is horrifying. It is miraculous.
What is going to happen will allow the book of Revelation to occur as stated. God said He would use even those that do not know Him to accomplish His goals. His plans. His destiny for humankind and I have never seen such evidence of those that do not know Him being so proud and open to do so.
I will not share what I have been given. For I know it would not be accepted or seen for what it is, but it will allow me to move forward. It will allow me to understand when it is time to move on to the next chain within the promised eternal life.
The writing is clear as day for those that are willing to accept God. That which must take place for the return of Christ is going to happen and it will involve many to suffer.
There will be those that protected and stood up for others and they will find out too late that they supported the wrong people. They will learn too late that they too should have seen the truth as it was shoved down their faces over the last decade.
Never since the time of World War II has the world so quickly and eagerly changed for the worst and hardly any see things for what they truly are. In that war God used it to bring His people home, to fulfill prophecy. Now more prophecies are to come to pass.
It is all there, before us all, but very few listen, very few see.
For prophecy to be fulfilled it must happen soon, but how long is soon? Only God knows the answer to that one, but still the writing is on the wall for all to see yet very few will open their eyes.
So go ahead and compound your sins against nature. For who created the natural order? Who said it must be a certain way and no other? Yet many in humankind have embraced the mentality that they themselves control their own destiny. Many others will say that their god is the true god and only through what they say can things truly go as planned, all the time unaware that the true God has set certain events in motion per His design, per His purpose, and most will never realize it till it is too late.
Most will continue to live in their little world of their own creation. Supplanting the true Creator with their “human” god and they will see the horror that they have unleashed upon themselves. Never realize it was they that caused it. For God shall turn them over to unrighteousness. A word that has multiple sides and all are sharp and painful to the touch.
I can say no more. Yes it is cryptic. Yes it is vague, but that is how it is to be. I will still try and reach those that are willing to tear the scales form their eyes and for them I am joyous for when all is said and done. ALL will know the true God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, just not all will be able to celebrate this realization.

We are told we shall be hated.


Time and again within the New Testament we are told we shall be hated, persecuted. We are told time and again the time will come when it is common place for those acting godly but they will not know God and we are to avoid them as best we can. For they shall not wish to hear the truth and can tear us down to their level, which is a place we ultimately do not wish to reach.
But we must prepare ourselves to be called names, to be hated, scorned and even killed for standing by the true meaning of the Bible. The Bible which was divinely breathed into the minds of those that wrote down the words given by the Trinity since before the time of Moses to just after the first coming of the Messiah. The words have remained unchanged until recently, when men thought they were better and smarter than the Creator of the universe. The one who designed the atom to the vastness of the cosmos about us, yet these people on this dust speck of a planet when compared to the rest of God creation thought they knew better than He and made false teaches which have led thousands if not millions down a primrose path to damnation.
A sin is still a sin once God says it is a sin. A sin can only be forgiven when you repent of this sin. To repent means to stop it and turn away from it never to do so again. Will people slip up and make mistakes? Yes, but once realization sets in they will feel horror and sorrow over their actions and beg the Lord of His forgiveness. This is how the Bible says time and again it must be, yet humans now say this is not so. Who are they the new gods? For that is what they are making themselves out to be. There is only one God. There is only one Jesus and His love is for those that accept His instructions. Yes He says to love all, but He Himself said you cannot be both a sinner (cold) and a non-sinner (hot) for His love. If you are neither cold nor hot you are lukewarm, living in sin yet saying you are of Christ, and He made clear your fate. He shall spit you out of His Body and shall be lost. (Rev. 3:15-16)
But for those that stay loyal to His wishes, even through the hatred and even death, you shall be welcomed before the Father of all, and He shall know your name.

A true translation of a sin that many now try to no longer call it what it is.


Last week someone attempted to say that I was not using a true translation of the Bible. This person made an assumption and we all know what it means to “assume.”
Needless to say I have felt the need to address this assumption since many go to church and hear someone on a dais or in a pulpit say this is this way and not that way, just because they say so. This is not how we are told to learn and read the Bible. It is each person’s responsibility to read the Bible themselves, and not just one testament or another, but the Bible in its entirety because the old points to new and gives anecdotes to give the reader an insight into the one thing that is truly unfathomable, the mind of the creator of the universe, God.
Now so you can understand how I do things. I start with the King James Version of the Bible. This is the closest easily accessible English version of the Bible. This to me though is not good enough. I also use Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament and a regular dictionary. Why? For starts the concordance gets me to the original word in the Greek or Hebrew. The NT dictionary gets me into the word usage when it was first written down, and the regular dictionary for more contemporary definitions. This is so I can get as close as possible to the Holy Spirit inspired words as they were given unto the writers by God. (2 Timothy 3:17) Look at my post “An insight into God’s power” also. NOTE: due to this method I have found that some current translations of the Bible have been taken out of context and so do not pass the test God requires us to place upon those giving the word of God. Since we are warned that there will be those that wish to teach a false doctrine so as to lead those that do not follow these precaution down a path that could lead to their rejection by God (Galatians 1: 6-8). One such book is the new international version, now I did not call it a translation since it has diverted from the Holy inspired word given by the Holy Ghost.
Now for this particular article I will stick to only those references of a certain sin in the New Testament even though it accompanies other sins that will be listed as well. Why? Because there are those that insist that the Old Testament has no need to be read and had no meaning anymore. This is a fallacy, but that is an issue for another time. I will start with the first chapter of Romans.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Verses 20 – 32 is one topic and so these must be held together as one overall group and the sins listed within them have the same fate as is shown in the last verse, but I will break down keys words to give insight and knowledge through the original language that was used at the time God divinely breathed them into those writing down His words.
Vain – mataioo – to make empty, foolish – which denotes the world of appearance as distinct from that of being. With “mataioo” there is always the implication of what is against the norm, unexpected, offending what ought to be (NTD).
Changed – allasso – to make otherwise, to alter. In particular for this verse it means “to exchange.” (NTD)
Note: for verse 23 peoples desires to live outside the norm as is begun in verse 21 wished to exchange the pure and glorified and incorruptible God for a humanized and thus corruptible god that would condone their desires to live outside the values that are placed upon them by the true God.
Gave – paradidomi – is used here to represent God’s judgement on sinners. God punishes by delivering up to sin (NTD)
Uncleanness – akatharsia – impurity. Of “physical cultic and moral impurity” In these verses Paul per the NTD used this word to mean the alienation of those sinning from God of all the sins listed in this grouping, even though in other cities some other sins are listed. This is due to those sins be more prevalent in those particular cities.
Dishonour – atimazo – to insult, treat with contempt
Against – para – from, in the presence of. Adversative. The sense of “beside,” “beyond,” is also the point of departure for the adversative sense: “without regard for,” “in spite of,” “against.”{Acts according to nature and hence according to creation} [NTD] {1}
Nature – phusis – inherent nature, origin, birth. {1}
Note: in the NTD the phrase is “nature and hence according to creation.” This means God’s creation of all things. The basic nature of a species is to reproduce. Anything that goes against the reproduction of a species can and will lead to its extinction. All life on earth seeks to reproduce itself in their natural state. Only those within the human race have chosen not to pursue the continuation of the species and have adopted lifestyles that have the possible ability to end its own species and so goes against the creation thus against the Creator: God.
Vile – atimia – disgrace, dishonor; a dishonorable use, shame or shameful
Affections – pathos – (subjectively) a passion (especially concupiscence):– (inordinate) affection, lust. A feeling which the mind suffers; an affliction of the mind, emotion, passion; passionate deed, depraved passion, vile passions.
Note: per NTD “’vile affections’ are the scandalous vices of homosexuality.”
Unseemly – Aschemosune – unseemliness, an unseemly deed.
Reprobate – adokimos – failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.
Note: Per NTD – Human existence stands under the divine testing in which it must prove itself. The testing culminates in judgement. Judgment is a test of human life and achievement. So those that partake of the sins listed in these verses have failed to pass the test.
The last verse is very important to understand so I will repost: “32 who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
This leaves no question to those willing to hear and understand. They have been told what they do is wrong, a sin, yet they willingly embrace it so their fate is made clear— death.
Since only sin leads to death. Any that say: homosexuality, unrighteous, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful; is not a sin are mistaken.
Now it is important to say this. That it does also show in the Bible that there are those that left these sins and were one with God. But to leave these sins they cannot partake of them. So to say the term “gay Christian” is an impossibility. In fact it is worse for them then if they deny God and are homosexual. (Rev. 3:15-16). But as promised the verses that show you can leave the sin and be one with God.
1 Corinthians 6: 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
The key statement here is “And such were some of you.” When they truly accepted Christ they were able to shed the sin from them and live a lifestyle that did not include the sins they has placed over God. For God must be first in all things. In addition it must be also notes that it says “some of you,” this places a limiting factor. This denotes that it is extremely hard for those that embrace these sins to leave them and so few actually have the courage to suffer the emotional pain required to turn from these sins. Just think just how much harder it is for them to turn away from these sins when people go about saying “It is ok because God loves you.” These are lies that need to be stopped. Yes God does love the person, but as long these people place their sins above God He will not see them or accept them into His house. (Rev. 21:27)
As you can see that I have gone to the origin of the words as they were written nearly two thousand years ago. So they are close as possible to the God Himself. Now why I say this is the person that said I was using the wrong translation of the Bible, they said this to be accurate:
“…it is your homophobic interpretation of the Bible…”
Now that being said. Since it is as close as possible to God Himself this person actually called God “homophobic.” He hates sin, but wishes those living in sin to leave that sin and they can only do that through truly and wholeheartedly asking Jesus Christ to be their Savior and to cut all ties with their previous lifestyle, which means they can no longer be gay. I did not say this, the Bible, which has not changed for thousands of years has said so and so is a truthful interpretation, and to just allow people to live in sin without hearing the truth of the Bible goes against what all true Christians are called to do. (2 Timothy 4: 1-5).

Could we be living in the end times?


Within the New Testament there comes references to the behavior of humanity that shall be signs unto those willing to see and verify through the knowledge given unto us through the Bible as well as the blessing of the Holy Spirit. For many will see but they shall be blind to the truth by their own desires and wishes. Wishing to live within this world thinking that this is all there is and nothing is beyond but to sit in a cloud playing and singing.
One of this references to how humanity will be acting comes in 2 Timothy 3.
“1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

People display the following traits:
1) Lovers of their own selves – self-centered – thinking only of what is important to them and no others
2) Covetous – caring only for money – greedy, avarice
3) Boasters – an empty pretender
4) Proud – to inflate with self-conceit:—high-minded, be lifted up with pride
5) Blasphemers – speaking evil, slanderous, reproachful, railing, abusive
6) Disobedient to parents – disobedient – inflexible, not compliant, rebellious, insubordinate
7) Unthankful – ungrateful, ungracious, unpleasing
8) Unholy – profane – relating or devoted to that which is not sacred or biblical; secular rather than religious
9) Natural affection – unloving, devoid of affection
10) Trucebreakers – unable to please
11) False accusers – prone to slander, slanderous, accusing falsely, act the part of the devil or to side with him
12) Incontinent – without self-control, immoderate in indulgence of appetite or passion. (immoderate – not sensible or restrained; excessive)
13) Fierce – not tame, savage
14) Despisers of those that are good – for example hating Christians, God, and the Bible
15) Traitors – a betrayer
16) Heady – rash, reckless
17) Highminded – arrogant
18) Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God – for example preferring sporting events, gambling, night clubbing, Television – escapism
19) Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof – being lukewarm (Revelations 3:15-16)
Every one of these signs of people’s behavior is now present. All because the Bible is no longer being correctly taught or taught at all to many. They have no idea what morality is so they revert to the nature state of humanity (Mark 7:20-23).
Another picture into the behavior of humanity in the end times is painted with words in 2 Peter 2.
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. 12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

So as you can see from both groups of verses is that this world is if not already there starting to be there very soon to the image of how people are to behave when it comes near the time for the return of Christ. It does not go well for those that live their lives as is described above. For they shall be left here to suffer the consequences for these lifestyles.
And if you note closely in verse 20 of 2 Peter there will be those that thought they were one with God and able to be caught up within the Rapture and will instead find themselves left here to suffer in the turmoil that will not only devastate the people but the planet itself.

An insight into God’s power


Here is my insight into the power of God. God created not just this planet, but the entire universe. He orchestrated the movement of the atom. He designed the perimeters for how the wings of a hummingbird would work. He established each location of every star within the cosmos for His meaning and glory.
Now why do I make this point? With the Bible we see the sun stop to move in the sky. So that meant this planet stopped rotating and moving through its orbit about the sun. He turned the Nile waters into blood. Now many will say no that was caused by a volcano up river. Well who made the volcano? Who caused it to erupt? God. He can control how this planet behaves. God the creator can control anything and everything. Even to the point of placing words into someone’s mind.
2 Timothy 3:16 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
“is given by inspiration of God” – which means divinely breathed in.
Now why not just hand a book to a man and say here read this and do what it says? This would defeat our purpose as His creation. He instilled into the human race free will. The ability to choose, be it for good or bad, unfortunately due to free will and by the rebellion of Adam and Eve when they ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge. They gave all of us the ability to see and even desire that which is evil through a selfish and lustful desire within all that are human.
Mark 7: 20 – And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
This is why Jesus came to walk amongst us to allow all willing to surrender once again unto God and in so doing be able to in some degree come to understand God’s plan and allow us to be touch by the divine breath and thus learn of God’s desire for us to return unto Him.
Yet there are those that will laugh at all that I have just written, again this is due to free will. They have no real concept of God. They cannot get their heads about a being so powerful and yet so subtle that he would wait over a thousand years to make Himself seen unto all. Through His patience all that are willing to acknowledge His very existence and say He is Lord is all that remains to be done. Yet many do not wish this to be true. They wish God to be just a mere man that cannot place ideas into people’s heads. That cannot cause a star to spark into existence and then cease to shine. They wish God to be like them.
Romans 1: 18 – For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
So due to this they think that the word of God can be changed to fit their meanings, their definitions, of what is right and what is wrong and so glorify that which is evil and call that which is Holy bad.
Isaiah 5:20 – Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
2 Timothy 3:3 – Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
What is good is that he gave unto humanity free will. It is not yet too late to change your heart, your thoughts, and your concept of reality. He will still welcome you into His arms through His Son our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. All you need do is accept Him and turn from your sins to never return to them. For that which is dead shall remain dead and that which Christ calls alive is alive. Forever and ever. AMEN

True Christians don’t measure success by worldly standards


But what are worldly standards? Fame, riches, fancy clothing. These things are fleeting and mean nothing to those that truly seek God. This is what proves the “prosperity ‘churches'” to be nothing but false prophets using God’s name in vain for their own riches, fame and glory. Those that teach this blasphemy are doing nothing but stealing for those in true need of God.
God made it clear that the rich have less of a chance of making into the heaven than a camel passing through the eye of a needle (Matthew 19:24). [BTW this is not has horrifying as it implies. The “eye of needle” gate in the Jerusalem wall was small and a camel had to almost literally crawl through the gate to get through it so some rich people might make it through, but it is not wise to count solely upon that.]
The greatest commandments are to love God above all else and to honor and worship Him first and foremost. Then we are to treat all others as we would treat ourselves. It was also made clear that we are to humble ourselves and to place all others before ourselves especially if you are in a leadership role (Mark 10:44). It is through this behavior that true Christians measure their success.
When you place God above all else this means you, yourself are unimportant only that which please God should be the most important thing to you. Now admittedly we all do not live up to this standard. I know I don’t, but I strive to do so. All humans falter and fall for we are not perfect. Does this mean to accept these flaws within us? No it does not. We are to strive every day to in some way remove these flaws from within us. Through pray and effort and acknowledging that we cannot do it by ourselves but through God’s Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
All humanity is corrupt and will fail, some more than others. Then there will be those that think that only through humanity can all glory ever be seen, but that is a lie. Not only to themselves but to others for it clearly states within the Bible that only evil comes from the hearts of humanity (Mark7:21-23). Any good that is accomplished can only be done through God and His blessing (James 1:17).
It is the ability to realize this that men have done truly great and lasting things and whenever humans do something without God it is lost and forgotten and only mysteries remain that confound and confuse those that are left behind. It is when humans think they are greater than God is when God reminds us that He is (1 Corinthians 1:25).
This is why it is imperative that people not seek after the world and its pleasures and riches but after that which is considered true riches in the sight of God. Seek Him out, pray, read the Bible and learn what it is that God seeks for you, but remember it will not be wealth or fame, but humility and sacrifice that wins the day.

There is a need for a new church model


What is needed within the building that is called a church is a rebirth. Old churches have become bogged down in a business model attitude where the intake of money is more important than the intake of souls into the Body of Christ under the pretense of the latter.
The prime example of this is the invitational. For those unaware at the end of many services in many church is the invitation to ask Jesus into your heart and life. As is the practice they have all present close their eyes so the person asking for the help will not feel singled out. This is all well and good, but it also causes a major lapse in conversion.
What is needed after this segment is a group standing by that can reach out to this person that just ask Christ into their life. It is now more than ever that a mentor is needed and required. In my personal experience I have not yet encountered such a system in place.
What should occur is that the person speaking on the dais should then state that for those that just raised your hands there are a group of people waiting to talk to you right now and help you and pray with you in the moment of surrender to God. The person speaking then should offer a location for this person to go to that will still allow them the anonymity they are seeking and give them a place to learn more about Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. It is here that this person is given a mentor much like is done in AA so they can have someone to talk to directly that will help them grow within the Body of Christ and not feel left out. The feeling of being left out leads people down the wrong road more time then not and is a major factor why many in the secular world look down upon Christians due to this very reason of rejection they usually encountered.
There is also a need to have an activist group. A group that is willing to go out into the world and make the presence of God known in various venues. Also to get involved in political functions and groups. It is due to the lack of Christian presence that this nation is in such a sorry state. Those that oppose God are extremely active and that is why they are winning. Why can’t Christian’s be involved as well? There is nothing in the Bible or the Constitution that says they can’t. And any that throws the “separation of church and state” dogma out does not know the constitution and is playing into the hands of those that wish to remove God from the government. This is what has been done for decades. Not only do people not research the Bible but they do not research their own nation’s laws which has enabled the desecration of this nation to the point that God is no longer going to bless this nation. This group should include a large number of the church membership.
I do not believe in Sunday school classes. I feel it is the pastor/preacher/priest job to teach courses on the Bible during church services. That way all get the same message and it does not cause clicks to get established. The idea is to bring all together in the eyes of God and not have one group better than another group. What is more important is the word of God and a true understanding of the Bible and thus God’s message and plan for all.
Arrange activities around the schedule of those that work different shift. Have Saturday services as well as Sunday services. Have evening and morning and even afternoon. Make coming to church something that is easy and harder to make excuses not to attend, but also make sure the same message is taught every single time. Also make use of the internet.
These are only a few examples. There are many more that are needed as well that will truly cause a resurgence within Christendom and the Body of Christ.

The Manifesto of the Dreamer


I stand accused.
I must answer this accusation through the Bible and by the Bible.
First and foremost:
Matthew 5:17 – Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
These are the word of Jesus Christ my Savior. He did not come to destroy but to fulfil
Fulfil = pleroo – “to fulfil a measure, a promise,”; “to complete or achieve”; “totality”; “fullness” (Theological Dictionary of the NT)
This means that to adhere solely to the New Testament is actually destroying that which Jesus came to fulfil.
I was reminded recently that many say that due to Christ actions the laws and teachings within the Old Testament have no more hold of the Body of Christ. I say that is counter to why Christ came upon this earth as stated by His own words above.
We are to hold to and maintain certain aspects of the Old Testament when it not actually stated to do otherwise. Example: Eating of sacrificed food was given a specific answer within the New Testament. (1 Corinthians 10:18-33).
So when there are specific examples within the New Testament that is to replace that of the Old Testament, but if it is not directly mentioned in the NT then the OT still hold governance.
Now I state all this because someone stated that my stance of being political was not to found within the Bible. I say this is not true. Yes we are instructed to give unto Caesar that which is Caesar. Yes we are told to obey the magistrates, but here is the catch. When obeying meant you have to disobey God, God took precedent. Did not Mordecai not bow, did not Daniel not eat and did not Jesus Himself stand against the laws of Pharisees which had come to be placed over God’s laws which He had come to fulfil?
Example: The turning over of the money changers tables in the Temple which He stated had been turned into a den of thieves. It was not the money changers that were the thieves, but the Pharisees through their laws they had enacted to allow the money changers in the temple for the profit of the Pharisees who received a portion of the money changers exchange fees for the purchase of sacrificial animals raise and own by the Pharisees. Thus the Pharisees were in fact stealing from those they were meant to minster to.
When humans makes laws that seek to supplant God’s who is to be followed?
Matthew 22:37 – Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment.
Luke 10:27 – And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
How can I love God the way stated above without placing Him in first and foremost into all that I do? If I do not place Him first in all I do, then I bow, then I eat what I should not eat, then I place the laws of humans over the laws given unto us by God.
Does this mean I break other laws made by humans? No. It does not. It means I work within those laws that do not try to take the place of God. For God has ordained those who are in power for His reasons. If those reasons are to see if they shall become like the Pharisees, then so be it, but those that profess to be the children of God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, if they say nothing and allow those in power to become the Pharisees without warning them of their errors are they not guilty of sin? Per James 4:17 they are.
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
Does this mean that a child of God must become political? Yes it does, as long as he acts within accordance of the law, not only Biblical but of the nation they live within.
Does this mean they are to peacefully protest, to rant, to inform the masses of the errors they are doing? Yes it does for did not the prophets of the Bible do this to Israel. For example: Hosea.
Am I calling myself a prophet? No I am not. My calling from God is to write my blog so as to attempt to reach the lukewarm (Revelation 3:15-16), so they might return once again unto God and feel His loving embrace upon that day of glory when they will be welcomed into His presence as one of His children. This is my ministry. To awaken those that have asked Christ into their hearts and souls yet have fallen from His graces for the world has come to mean more unto them then God.
They are the hypocrites yet they do not know that is what they have become.
Am I called to add to the body of Christ? No I am not. I am called to be a teacher unto those that are already of the Body. I am to study the Bible and attempt to understand it better so that in turn I can help them to understand the Bible better themselves. So if they have faltered and fallen they can pick themselves up and if they have not so they can become closer to God and His desires for all that call themselves His children.
Am I perfect? By all means no I am not. I make errors, I make mistakes. Do I shout when I should talk softly? Yes I do, but it is out of compassion and love for my fellow humans. For I have no desire for them to suffer, which is what will happen if they do not listen. If they turn a deaf ear because they are listening to those that say all is beautiful and fine with the world and God. Yes there is a need for love, but when there is too much love it can do more harm than good. Should I use more love? At times yes, but there are times when there is more of a need of a rod.
Proverbs 13: 24He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
Many within the Body spare the rod too much and so sin has run rampant and they are not leading them to salvation but enslavement.
2 Peter 2:18 – For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
