Until further notice the messages that accompany this notice will be part of the “Come out of her my people” series. They will be harsh. They will cause people to get upset. This is as it should be. They must question the way they think and live. So, they can seek to follow Christ and not the world.

Discussion

The “fine print” is a term associated with legal documents that hide something that is detrimental to the person signing said document.

Well, here is the kicker. The Bible is a type of legal document. Within it are facts, Truths and procedures on how to enter into the service of God through Jesus Christ. However, there is no requirement to sign. It is totally and completely voluntary. There is however, fine print.

Deuteronomy 4:2 NKJV – You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Time and again I encounter those that claim I have mis-read the Bible. That I am in the wrong. Before the conversation is complete, they tell me to read this commentary or that commentary. Not realizing it is that they are in violation of the contract. For those that made commentaries are add to or taking away from the Word of God.

Using tools like Strong’s Concordance or even the Theological Dictionaries of both the New and Old Testaments are necessary aids. However, listening to the opinions of other humans about how they interpret the Word of God is not an aid.

Now I wish to insert a comment here about Theological Dictionaries. Within them is what could be call “commentary.” However, it is commentary about how people used languages in the time frame that the letters which later were turned into the Bible were written. They are not based solely upon the letters but all documents that can be found for that time period. Thus, you are given a true insight into the words meanings as they were written down upon parchment. When studying the Word of God. Knowing facts like these helps to truly understanding the Bible and thus be a true steward of God through Jesus Christ.

But, to get back on track.

We as true disciples of Jesus Christ are required to know the Word of God and how to follow the teachings, lifestyle and requirements in how to be said disciple. Multiple times Jesus made if very clear. To be a disciple we are to surrender all connections to the world. Yet, most that now calls themselves “Christian” embrace, chase after and worship the world.

Luke 14:26- 33 NKJV – “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

“So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.”

This is a requirement of God through Jesus Christ. It is made clear in the fine print. Do it or your contract is void.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Yet, because this commentary or that commentary says people can live this way or that way they say people like me are the ones in the wrong. The thing is. I didn’t say it. The Bible said it. Jesus Christ said.

Accordingly, to them. The commentary has more authority than Jesus Christ. This translates to following the traditions of men over the Word of God turning them into Pharisees. Otherwise known has hypocrites.

Matthew 23:27-28 NKJV – “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Let us now look to another part of the Bible where there is fine print that most either ignore or have never read.

Revelation 22:18-19 NKJV – For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

This one has more bearing than the one in Deuteronomy. Many proclaim they know what is right and what isn’t. Most don’t even realize they know nothing.

One thing that should be very clear. Is that our “works,” our behavior will be how we are to be either welcomed into the service of God or judged upon before the Great White Throne.

Matthew 16:24-27 NKJV – Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

Revelation 20:11-15 NKJV – Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Anyone who says otherwise is giving you false teachings. Because you just heard otherwise from the Word of God a moment ago. One source from Jesus Christ Himself in Matthew and then from the prophecy found within the book of Revelation.

I wish to get back to the fine print. I want what is about to be said from the book of Revelation to sink in, to those reading or listening.

“If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

I once heard a Methodist priest call the book of Revelation a fable, a fairytale. It was from that point on that I began to earnestly study not only the Bible, but the book of Revelation. I learned quickly that most that professed to being “Christian” were all superficial in their faith. Most showed they never studied the Word of God. Sure, they read verses here or there. Especially if it made themselves feel good and comfortable with how they live or lived. However, they would rather let the person standing upon the dais dictate their thoughts and behavior. Especially when it allowed them to live in what ever way they wanted or want to.  Not realizing as to what “god” they were or are worshipping. Because who they are worshipping is themselves and their own wants and desires for this short time they live upon this world. Which fully shows they are not servants of God through Jesus Christ, but the fallen one: Satan.

I once challenged a man who was singing the praises of his “church” as he played a dulcimer a visiting guest to the building had been playing for all to hear the previous Sunday. He was not happy when I said, “So what of Jesus Christ are you learning from that instrument right now?” Anger crossed his face, and he walked away. The instrument cost him anywhere for $75 to $200 and he was trying to learn it instead of studying the Word of God. Plus using the money to help someone in need of it and not for his personal pleasure.

But I have gotten way off track. We were discussing the fine print found in the book of Revelation which makes it clear you shouldn’t discuss the return of Jesus Christ unless you have been given insight from the Holy Spirit. A prime example is the understanding the difference between the words “rapture” and “resurrection.”

Rapture is an event that removes people from the face of the earth in the blink of an eye, that have the Holy Spirit in them.

Matthew 24:38-41 NKJV – For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.

That is a rapture.

A resurrection is being placed within an immortal body that is sinless upon this earth, just as it was for Jesus Christ upon the third day. The other day someone made a social media post stating that there would only be one resurrection and that only for followers of Christ. Yet the Bible says this:

Revelation 20:4-6 NKJV – And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

“This is the first resurrection.”

So, when is the second resurrection?

This is called the second death, because it is also the second resurrection and those that have more worldly treasure otherwise known as chaff will experience the second death in their immortal bodies where they will be an eternal witness to the fate of those that chose their own life over surrendering it to God through Jesus Christ and they will suffer this fate:

Isaiah 66:24 NKJV – “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”

God Bless
