Until further notice the messages that accompany this notice will be part of the “Come out of her my people” series. They will be harsh. They will cause people to get upset. This is as it should be. They must question the way they think and live. So, they can seek to follow Christ and not the world.

Discussion

The younger people are starting to awaken to the Truth, or are they?

Paul was led by the Holy Spirit to talk about the last days and what to look for.

2 Timothy 3:1-7 NKJV – But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Let’s continue hearing what is within this third chapter of the second letter written to Timothy the pastor of Ephesus. For it is important to the full context of this letter.

2 Timothy 3:8-17 NKJV – Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was. But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We are not done yet. Just because the chapter ends, doesn’t mean the context of the letter does. Therefore, let us continue into chapter four.

2 Timothy 4:1-7 NKJV – I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

This constitutes the full context of this section of this letter to Timothy. We see within the warning about how those that teach falsely will work. Actually reaching a point to where they will be telling people fables.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 NKJV – For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

In recent years one of the greatest fables has become world famous. By the mere fact that it was and is so popular shows it is of the world and not of God.

For if it was of God most would despise the show called “The Chosen.”

It has created many that think they are now going to heaven and now call themselves “Christian.” When that is the furthest thing from the Truth. Most actually fit the description of those within the first few verses of chapter three of the second letter to Timothy.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV – But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Those that truly seek to be in followship with God through Jesus Christ are given one instruction.

“And from such people turn away!”

Why? because they will, in time, do one of two things. Either turn you away from God, or they will attack you.

2 Timothy 3:12-13 NKJV – Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Many actually believe they TRULY follow God through Jesus Christ. However, this is the furthest thing from the Truth.

The biggest clue. How they live. Most that call themselves “Christians” still live exactly like they did before they accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. For it is easy to become saved:

Romans 10:8-10 NKJV – But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

However, even though you are saved the moment you confess that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is you Savior. You are not guaranteed a place in the service of God. In fact, you can lose your salvation. Most of 2 Peter chapter 2 covers this. Note the last verses of this chapter:

2 Peter 2:20-22 NKJV – For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A DOG RETURNS TO HIS OWN VOMIT,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

This can be corrected. All it needs is the true desire to be a servant of God through Jesus Christ. To become a disciple.

This, however, is a difficult path and requires knowing that most that now accept you. Especially those that call themselves “Christian” will reject you.

Yes, you heard that correctly. Most will turn against you.

The starting point.

Matthew 16:24-27 NKJV – Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

Luke 14:25-33 NKJV – Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

Re-read these last verses again. For they pertain to now just as they did then.

Most are within “the great multitude” that now profess they are Christian and say they follow Him. Yet, what does Christ say to them?

“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.”

This means we are to not think about ourselves in any form. We are to adhere to the greatest commandment:

Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV – Jesus said to him, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

God is to be the focus of our existence. The way to help achieve this is by studying the Word of God in its base language when it was first placed on parchment. This makes you realize that what is being stated here is the Truth.

That we are to avoid anything of the world beyond what is needed to make it to the next day. Even if our earthly income allows us to have more. We shouldn’t seek after it because then we are no longer friends with God but the world.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

1 John 2:15-16 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

The main reason to live a needs-only lifestyle is that it will help us focus upon God who is to be the center of our existence. Not us like most that teach their false teachings that are people pleasing.

Galatians 1:6-10 NKJV – I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

People pleasing messages are sweet like sugar. Those that teach the True Gospel are to be like salt. Bitter to the taste. However, it improves the meal.

Luke 14:34-35 NKJV – “Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

God Bless

Discussion

Just because you say you are “Christian” does not guarantee your place in heaven. Yet, this is how most think and believe. They have thought this way for centuries. Yes, centuries.

How do I know this? Because most that make this declaration do not follow the teachings found within the Bible. This is why Jesus Christ Himself said these Words:

Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV – “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

And then this a bit later:

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

People ignore the most important part of this verse:

“I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”

Most that call themselves “Christan” practice lawlessness, especially those that believe in faith alone and OSAS. Now, why do I say this. Again, we turn to the Bible and one sentence:

James 2:26 NKJV – For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

“So faith without works is dead.”

This is explained earlier in these verses:

James 2:17-20 NKJV – Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

Notice a key statement in these verses:

“You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe — and tremble!”

Those that live by faith alone and OSAS believe in one God. However, unlike demons, they celebrate, they cheer the presence of the Holy Spirit being within them. This is the essential prove that those that live by faith alone and even adhere to the OSAS manmade doctrine have existed for centuries. Even to the point that they are taught about within the Bible itself.

You think this was by chance? The answer is no. God knew that this would be the mentality of all that professed to being identified as followers of Jesus Christ. This is why the Holy Spirit led those that wrote the NT to teach and warn those that follow Jesus to separate themselves from the world.

However, most never even leave the world. They chose to seek after what is offered by the world. They befriend the world. This is why these verses are found within the Bible:

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Matthew 6:19-24 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

Again, we have a key statement made in these verses that people ignore:

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

“If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness.”

Most that live by faith alone and follow the OSAS man-made doctrine do not live in the light but believe that they do. Since they have befriended the world, they are enemies of God. Therefore, the more they align themselves with the world the more into the darkness they are. Which makes this verse become real, which in turn brings the reality to this verse:

Matthew 25:30 NKJV – And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The majority that teaches and follow faith alone and OSAS are unprofitable, because they believe they are not required to do as Christ teaches. This in turn makes them unprofitable which leads them into the outer darkness. Whose depth is so deep that it will cause weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Unfortunately, most reject what has just been said here. They laugh, they scoff, they deride and belittle.

Luke 16:13-17 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.

Any who ignore the commandments are saying Christ is a liar. Because here, Jesus Himself makes it clear that not only are the laws still in effect, but also that it goes from just being only for the Tribes of Israel to all of humanity. This is not the only time that Christ makes it clear that the laws are still active:

Matthew 5:17-19 NKJV – “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Those that reject the laws taught within the Bible, which also includes Christ’s command to downsize.

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

This is emphasized by what the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to say to Timothy:

1 Timothy 6:6-10 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

They suffer sorrows because they chase after and cling to money, which is why later on this is said in the first book of Timothy:

1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV – Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Over 99% of those that profess to being “Christian” say that downsizing is not required by them. However, in three gospels it is made clear that we must get rid of our earthly wealth.

Mark 10:17-21 NKJV – Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.'” And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

“Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross and follow Me.”

This command is meant for all that have earthly wealth and many possessions. Most ignore this law, which must be followed. Therefore, they do as is shown in the next verse:

Mark 10:22 NKJV – But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

He went away from Jesus Christ. He walked away from salvation.

This is why the Holy Spirit inspired Peter to say this:

2 Peter 2:20-22 NKJV – For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A DOG RETURNS TO HIS OWN VOMIT,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Most don’t realize that the vomit, the mire is worldly possessions and money. Which they gladly return to over their eternal life through Jesus Christ.

God Bless.

Discussion

Many times, I have referred to the first chapter of Galatians. Specifically verses six through nine:

6 I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News 7 but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ. 8 Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. 9 I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.

But I leave out one of the most important verses. That being the tenth:

“Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.”

This one verse says volumes. For many throughout the centuries HAVE sought to please people and not God.

“I’m not trying to win the approval of people”

Let’s look at this verse in the KJV:

“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”

To please – G700 – aresko – (through the idea of exciting emotion): to be agreeable (or by implication to seek to be so)

This tells us the false good news is constructed of words mentioning God and Jesus but aimed at pleasing the listener. To make them feel good.

This is the message that most buildings that call themselves “churches” feed to humanity. The key element in these pleasing messages is the word “love.”

Now let me make this perfectly clear. God does love ALL of humanity. Why else would He send us His own Son to serve as the sacrifice to allow us the window to be able to stand sinless before our Creator?

Remember the anguish Abraham endured when God told him he must sacrifice Isaac?

This is the anguish that God Himself suffered except more so, because unlike Isaac, Jesus Christ died. He died a Holy and Pure sacrifice. And due to this He rose again upon the third day. Having fulfilled His calling. The ransom paid for all humanity to be given the ability through Him to enter in the presence of God.

Yet it is here that those that teach the false gospel end their teaching. They leave out the next part of the message, which Paul is referring to when he says he is not trying to win the approval of people, but of God.

Again, we will look to verses that I continue to go to when trying to show the true and faithful message of the Gospel:

John 15:1-6 “I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. 2- He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. 3- You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. – Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. 5- “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6- Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.

Within these verses is the true meaning of the True Gospel. Jesus says He is the only true way into heaven. Once someone accepts Him as their Savior, they become joined to Him.

He illustrates the entire requirements to being one with Him, and makes it clear the results if someone does not stay within the true Gospel.

The very first thing He makes clear in this description is that if someone does not stay true to the Bible and thus produce fruit God Himself will end their salvation. Those that say they can never loss their salvation is teaching a false gospel and as is shown in Galatians are cursed. This is shown time and again throughout the Bible. A prime example of bearing fruit is seen in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) the servant who buried their talent bore no fruit and was cast into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. This verifies that salvation can be lost.

The next thing Jesus makes clear is that those that stay true to the Gospel will suffer, as is shown through pruning. Why? So that they will learn and thus make it so that they will in turn spread the true Gospel out unto the world thus bearing more fruit. He shows us that the message He gives unto us. The entire message prunes us making us ready to serve God though our Savior with the aid of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus makes it clear we must stay true to Him and His teaching.

“Remain in me and I will remain in you.”

He also makes it clear that we cannot produce fruit if we do not remain within His full and complete teachings. When He says something is a sin. It is something we cannot continue to live within.

Yet those that teach the false good news. Say someone can live in their sin no matter what and God will love them even if they keep them. Yet this is counter to the teaching of the vine. This is clarified in verse 10 of John 15:

“When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.”

The core of these commandments is the Ten Commandments, but the rest of the commandments are seen in Deuteronomy and Leviticus.

Matthew 5:17- 20 – “Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the Law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. 18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. 19 So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 20 “But I warn you—unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

So, if it is called a sin and we must not live in sin than we must abandon sin. ANY SIN!!

Another false gospel that more follow than they realize is finding wealth and prosperity here on earth. We are told not to store our wealth here on earth where it will rot and decay. But to store our treasures in heaven. (Matthew 6:19-20) This has a twofold effect on people, both of which become self-serving and not God serving. Because people seek to satisfy their own wants and desires, they ignore their neighbors which is against the second greatest command. To treat others as we would treat ourselves. (Matthew 22:39) How can we seek to treat others to the luxuries we seek if we do not have enough wealth to accomplish our own lusts and desires here on earth?

We are told to live a modest life. (1 Timothy 6:6-10) If we make excessive wealth it is not ours to spend upon ourselves. It was given to us by God, and it is His, not ours. We should live a simple life. And once we have a surplus that should go to others in need. This is how the early church lived their lives. (Acts 2:43-47) As time went by this message got perverted and changed by the selfishness of humanity. Thus, defying our Creator and going against the teaching of the true Gospel. Which in turn makes those that practice this lifestyle to be cursed. For many do this that have the Holy Spirit within them, and they defy the Spirit which tells them to live their lives per Biblical standards. Which is storing up heavenly treasures and not earthly ones.

It was impressed upon me, again, this morning, as I wrote this, that Christ’s first and soon return is far more near than many realize. It still may be years away; however, it could be this very moment or the next that the horn will blast.

This horn will be heard everywhere. For it will not be of this dimension, but of God’s heavenly dimension. It will be heard through walls; it will be heard in airplanes. It will be heard underground. Wherever there is a human it will be heard. This first blast of this trumpet will be for the dead. This gives those alive the ability to stop what they are doing and pray to God they are included in the next blast. For when that one blasts those that are ready will vanish from this earth to meet Jesus Christ in the air and be given their new and immortal bodies. Bodies that will last for billions upon billions of years. All our selfish wants, desires and thoughts will be at an end, and all that will matter is how can we serve our Creator God, through His Son our Savior Jesus Christ.

The true Gospel teaches to reject the self. (Luke 9:23; Matthew 16:24; 2 Corinthians 5:15) If we insist on keeping sin in our lives, we are insisting that we are greater than God.

The key is to removing sin. We may find it emotionally painful.  But if we are truly seeking salvation, we must learn to let go of that which in many cases brings us earthly pleasure, comfort and even satisfaction. We must come to the realization that this life we now live is fleeting. (James 4:14) At the most we may live a few decades over one hundred. However, we were meant to live thousands of years originally. Ultimately, we are destined through truly accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior, to live billions of years. Why hold on so tightly to this life in which sin is greater than our Creator. God knew us before we were even convinced in the womb. (Galatians 1:15; Jeremiah 1:5) Can you grasp that concept? We have an active part in this relationship with God through Jesus Christ. That means we must seek to remove sins that bring us pleasure. All sins come from one place. Our hearts. (Matthew 15:19-20)  For we wish to satisfy our own wants and desires. Not God’s. We must abandon our own desires and strive not to please ourselves but God. This is hard on our own if not impossible. (2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans  6:23) Only through accepting Jesus Christ and being filled with the Holy Spirit can we begin the painful struggle to end placing ourselves above God.

True love hurts. Trying to draw closer to God in our love for Him hurts. To spare the rod is to hate the child, to paraphrase the proverb. (Proverbs 13:24) Since our Heavenly Father does not hate us. He requires us to go through emotional pain that many time we feel would destroy us. This pain is us letting go of what we want and desire and accepting what God wants from us, which is to become righteous and holy. To be worthy to wear the white robes of salvation. Having passed through the blood Jesus Christ shed for us that last day of His earthly life. (Hebrews 10:9-18)

However, we are not worthy of this sanctification unless we are willing to surrender to Him all of our heart, mind, body and soul, unto our Creator through Jesus Christ the Messiah, our Savior.  Then allow ourselves to be baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. Amen

God Bless
