Romans 6:15-23 NKJV – What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I was reminded of these verses by the music lyrics of the song “Bittersweet Symphony” by the Verse. In that song this line is heard:

“Tryna make ends meet You’re a slave to money then you die.”

Returning to the Bible Christ teaches this:

Matthew 6:24 NKJV – “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Mammon is defined as riches, money, possessions and property.

This is what most especially those that profess to being “Christian” make their master. This is who they are enslaved to. This is the way it has been for thousands of years. We even see it on display in the Word of God. I will give you an example that most should take to heart at this very moment.

Luke 12:13-34 NKJV – Then one from the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.” But He said to him, “Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?” And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.” ‘ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’ “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The core element to this teaching is found at the very end of these verses.

“Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

“Sell what you have and give alms.”

This is a commandment from Christ.

You see you have been a slave to mammon. You have too much that is earthly as noted here in these verses from 1 John:

1 John 2:15-16 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

We are to be content with clothing and food as shown here:

1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

Therefore, all who profess to being a follower of Jesus Christ is commanded to downsize. They do this by getting rid of their mammon which they have accumulated showing all they live in and are slaves to the sin of materialism.

When you get rid of these accesses do not seek profit from them. Give them to charities. Goodwill, Salvation Army or any thrift shop that shows they use their income to help those in need. For to seek to gain profit from sin is tainted due to the fact that they come from sin. Expect to loss money for money is sin.

Do not seek to own property unless you can use said property to help those in need. Look to the second chapter of Acts.

Acts 2:44-47 NKJV – Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Measure the size of your household. If you have children, then find a place large enough to give them shelter as well. However, once the children leave. Find someplace smaller that suits the needs of you or if you are married you and your other half. Never own or seek to own. Give away all your earthly goods that are not a necessity. Truely live a needs-only lifestyle.

If you have a special need due to a medical condition that is a need. However, don’t use it as an excuse to own or accumulate mammon as many do.

Christ makes it very clear more than once we are not to seek mammon. We have already shown two so far. However, we will add to this.

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Luke 16:13-15 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

Seeking after mammon is what is highly esteemed amongst those of the world. As I have taught in the past. Those that seek what is esteemed are seen as an abomination in the sight of God. Being seen as an abomination is being seen as an equal to the antichrist. Someone that is destined for the lake of fire.

This is why it is so important to downsize. And expect no earthly profit as you do so. This is why Christ says this to the young rich man:

Mark 10:17-21 NKJV  Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.'” And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

However, what is the response to this command by Christ Himself to this man.

Mark 10:22 NKJV – But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

This is how most now act and respond. Many even believe it is not required by them. This is because Christ is soon to return. What most don’t realize is the seven letters in the second and third chapter of Revelation are not just concurrent but are also chronological. The first represents those of the early church. While the last letter, the letter to Laodicea is how those that professing to being “Christian” at this very moment act and behave. Therefore, let us hear this letter.

Revelation 3:15-19 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

“Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—“

To be zealous and repent is to downsize quickly and seek no profit from you living in sin. For to profit from sin is to seek damnation in the lake of fire. Instead of storing up treasures in heaven. Get rid of your mammon and do not seek to profit from it for it is evil and a sin.

God Bless

Discussion

Death wears a pleasant face.

That is one of the things most do not understand. That is why they listen to people pleasing messages. This is why those that teach people pleasing messages are twice cursed.

Now why do I say twice cursed?

Galatians 1:6-10 NKJV – I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

In these verses the Holy Spirit guided Paul to say those that teach people pleasing messages are cursed and he does so twice.

For centuries and especially in recent decades. Those that stand in front of an audience saying that God is love. That Jesus Christ is love. That they can live their lives as they see fit. This is why those that stand before these people are twice cursed.

Evil will smile at you as it opens the door to eternal darkness. The Bible makes it clear that we are to follow the teachings found within the Bible. That only through Jesus Christ can we attain eternal life. This is spelled out in 2 Peter 2. The entire chapter, but it is too much to go into here.

Jesus Christ knew that humanity for the majority would listen to these pleasing messages. This is why those that teach it are twice damned. However, those that listen to these lies have no desire to hear the Truth. The Truth is that if you live in sin, you will not be welcome in the kingdom of heaven.

This is the True gospel. This is what should be taught by those that stand upon the dais in front of audiences. It makes people feel uncomfortable. It makes them shift about in their seats. This is as it should be.

We are not to feel comfort in this temporal realm. We are to be hated, despised, persecuted. If those that stand before you make you feel happy happy joy joy. Then they despise you. They hate you and wish for you to live in eternal damnation.

Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV – “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Proverbs 13:24 NKJV – He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.

“He who spares his rod hates his son.”

Those that give people pleasing messages truly hate those who listen to them. I will show these verses from 2 Peter 2:

2 Peter 2:1-3 NKJV – But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

2 Peter 2:3 AMP – And in their covetousness (lust, greed) they will exploit you with false (cunning) arguments. From of old the sentence [of condemnation] for them has not been idle; their destruction (eternal misery) has not been asleep.

I once went to a men’s retreat at the last church I tried to attend. I had a set down with three others to discuss our faith. I mentioned that pursuing large houses was a sin. This made the associate pastor shift in his seat. He said: “Well I bought a million-dollar home to entertain.” You see this particular church had a Super Bowl party shortly after the men’s retreat. This was the last straw for me. Let me read from Galatians once again.

Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

A million-dollar house is a form of idolatry. Having Super Bowl parties is revelries. Therefore, what is the last statement in this verse?

“That those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Two counts against an associate pastor.  I can add another point.

Ephesians 5:3-5 NKJV – But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

“But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you.”

Now for a leader within the church to be covetous, makes it named amongst us. And what is the fate of someone that is covetous within the church.

“Nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.”

This equals twice damned. Twice cursed.

This is why it is so important that each and every single person read the Bible for themselves. Because their salvation is their responsibility to address. Not anyone else’s. This is why most will awaken not before the Throne of God in white robes, but before the Great White Throne Judgement. And what is the fate of those that stand before the Great White Throne Judgement?

Revelation 20:11-15 NKJV – Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

This is the fate for those that make you feel good about yourselves. That tells you that you are going to heaven no matter what. Lies, lies, lies. This makes these verses originally said to those that claimed to be children of Abraham work for these false teachers as well:

John 8:44 NKJV – You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

If their true father is Satan, then their fate is sealed. They will be amongst those that live in the lake of fire. How does Isaiah word it?

Isaiah 66:24 NKJV – “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

God does not place people there. People place themselves in the lake of fire.

They do this by doing what those in Galatia did. They accept Christ as their Savior and then they turn their backs upon Him. Quickly.

It is “quickly” because they say they accept Christ and then refuse to downsize. They want to keep their mammon and their salvation. What is this called? I’ll let the Word of God for that answer.

Revelation 3:15-17 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—

Being vomited out of the Body of Christ equals what you have heard and read from the Bible twice before in today’s study. Not welcome in the kingdom of God.

People need to awaken to the fact that time is quickly running out. Too many think they can go to a building called a “church.” Listening to platitudes that make them feel good about themselves. That makes them pleased to hear what those on the dais say to them. They accept what those that are quickly removed from their salvation teach them every Sunday. That they are going to heaven, when in reality they aren’t.

Repent now. Downsize. Learn the Word of God. Spread the Word of God. Seek True Life. True Salvation.

God Bless.

1 Peter 1:13-19 AMP – So brace up your minds; be sober (circumspect, morally alert); set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace (divine favor) that is coming to you when Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is revealed. [Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you] in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel]. But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living. For it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy. [Lev. 11:44, 45.] And if you call upon Him as [your] Father Who judges each one impartially according to what he does, [then] you should conduct yourselves with true reverence throughout the time of your temporary residence [on the earth, whether long or short]. You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold, But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot.

Within these verses is a very clear statement. A statement that is direct in its declaration. It is made by the one that denied Christ three times before His crucifixion.

Before I continue, a sidetrack. A story of the twelve. The chosen apostles. One rejected Him for mammon. Mammon is riches, money, possessions, property. 10 ran and hid. Of these 10, one outright denied Him three times. Then one and one alone stood courageously. Standing before the cross as Christ died.

The one who rejected Him for mammon hung himself. The ten that hide died horrible deaths. The one that denied Him was hung upon a cross upside down. However, they preached the True Word of God until their murders. The one that stood strong before Him as He died for all our sins lived to die of natural causes. Even though he was poisoned and even placed into boiling oil. This last one also was given the blessing of writing what would become the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, in the 90s AD.

“[Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you] in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel].

“Live as children of obedience to God.”

Obedience. This is spelled out at the end of the sentence.

“When you did not know the requirements of the Gospel.”

So, there are requirements given in the Gospel. Let’s define the word “requirement.”

Requirement – something that you must do, or something you need.

“Something you must do.” These words bring us to this from the Word of God.

Matthew 5:17-19 NKJV – “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

This clearly states that the laws given to us by the Prophets of the OT as well as the commandments written down within the books of Deuteronomy and Leviticus that were not removed by the cross ARE still in effect. The only laws removed were those that dealt with sacrifice. How we live our daily lives are still in effect. How we dress, not getting tattoos are still in effect.

Deuteronomy 6:1-2 NKJV – “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.

Deuteronomy 6:5-7 NKJV – You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Deuteronomy 6:17-19 NKJV – You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you. And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the LORD swore to your fathers, to cast out all your enemies from before you, as the LORD has spoken.

Deuteronomy 6:24-25 NKJV – And the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day. Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the LORD our God, as He has commanded us.’

Deuteronomy 11:1 NKJV – “Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.

Deuteronomy 11:13-19 NKJV – ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’ Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them, lest the LORD’s anger be aroused against you, and He shut up the heavens so that there be no rain, and the land yield no produce, and you perish quickly from the good land which the LORD is giving you. “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Deuteronomy 15:1-5 NKJV – “At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release of debts. And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the LORD’s release. Of a foreigner you may require it; but you shall give up your claim to what is owed by your brother, except when there may be no poor among you; for the LORD will greatly bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance— only if you carefully obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe with care all these commandments which I command you today.

Deuteronomy 15:9-11 NKJV – Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,’ and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to the LORD against you, and it become sin among you. You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand. For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’

Deuteronomy 16:18-22 NKJV – “You shall appoint judges and officers in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with just judgment. You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the LORD your God is giving you. “You shall not plant for yourself any tree, as a wooden image, near the altar which you build for yourself to the LORD your God. You shall not set up a sacred pillar, which the LORD your God hates.

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 NKJV – “When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you. You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not appointed such for you.

Deuteronomy 27:15-26 NKJV – ‘Cursed is the one who makes a carved or molded image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ “And all the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who treats his father or his mother with contempt.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s landmark.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who makes the blind to wander off the road.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who perverts the justice due the stranger, the fatherless, and widow.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s bed.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who lies with any kind of animal.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who lies with his mother-in-law.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who attacks his neighbor secretly.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ‘Cursed is the one who does not confirm all the words of this law.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ “

The laws that are still in effect from the book of Leviticus start in chapter 18 and go from there. Know that they’re still in effect. Know that most are ignored.

Abandoned by even those that profess to being “Christian” the most. Yes. You heard that correctly. Most that now profess to being followers of Jesus Christ say the laws are no longer needed. The moment they say this they call the Word of God a lie, thus calling God Himself a liar.

It is truly sad. The time for repentance is now. For if you don’t repent now, it will be too late. For time is nearly up. The first and smallest rapture shall occur soon. Sooner than most ever expect or know. Downsizing is required and ordered from the Word of God itself. Most live in luxury and deny this requirement and make themselves lukewarm. Seen as worse than those that outright deny God. But they refuse to acknowledge this Truth. Truly and completely sad.

God Bless, if you truly listen.

Exodus 32:33 NKJV – And the LORD said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

And what book is being referred to here? For that answer we look to the book of Revelation:

Revelation 3:1-5 NKJV – “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life.”

The book referred to in Exodus is the Book of Life. And shows that those that are written in the Book of Life can sin and in so doing can be removed from that very book.

A statement most especially those that profess to being “Christian” do not wish to hear. For to hear would mean they have lived a lie. A lie that they are favored by God Himself, for they are blessed beyond all belief with their earthly rewards.

Words that are saved in their minds. Words that shows they have no true knowledge of the Word of God. Nor, in most cases the True Word of God has never even been heard by their ears. So they do not know these words found within the Bible:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV – All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Nor do they know or acknowledge these Word:

Romans 2:11 NLT – For God does not show favoritism.

Or these:

1 John 2:15-16 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

For to acknowledge these Word spoken by the Holy Spirit unto those that penned the words to parchment would mean that they do not worship the True God of the Universe, but the god of this world.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

A god who rewards with what he has been power to give to all that worship him.

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Anger rises. Hatred for what has been spoken, what they have just read says they are not welcome into heaven. They say I, the messenger, am a liar. I show what the Word of God says, what the Holy Spirit instructed Paul to write down on parchment:

Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The works of the flesh are…. Hatred…. Contentions…. Outbursts of wrath…. That those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Which means they have sinned against God as was made clear in Exodus:

“Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.”

This shows that God does not show favoritism. That seeking after the world is to seek rewards from Satan Himself. Which brings the reality to the statement:

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Why should someone that has a huge house, fancy vehicles and clothing be rewarded with eternal life when they show where their heart is.

Those that seek after worldly treasures and rewards shows that their heart belongs to the one who rewarded them, which as the Bible has shown is not God the Creator of the universe, but the father of all lies.

John 8:44 NKJV – You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

His lies say to those that listen that they can have it all and they will be welcomed into heaven. This is when he murders those that listen. For it is made clear that what they seek after is what all men seek after. What they esteem.

As I have taught multiple times in the past. The word “abomination” is used six times in the NT. Four of those times it describes the antichrist and those that willingly follow that person. Therefore, those that seek after earthly riches, money, possessions and property follow the antichrist’s mentality and so are worthy to be removed from the Book of Life. For they are the lukewarm.

When they are vomited from the Body of Christ they are blotted out of the Book of Life. Again, people don’t want to hear this and blame the messenger. All I have done is show the Word of God. The dictation of the Holy Spirit whose name is Jesus Christ.

If what you have heard angers or upsets, it is because it is the Truth. Yes, that means all you have heard before, from other humans that do not preach this Truth was a lie. That is obvious by the fact that you still seek after what the world seeks after. The fact that it disturbed you. That is not my fault.

The problem is the lies have become so ingrained into the world that no one really wants to hear what is real. Because for centuries people have been born, lived and then died in the lie of the world. Many thinking they have lived a Godly life. However, since they sought after money, riches, property and possessions they led a life of lies that doesn’t lead to heaven, but to eternal death. This is why Jesus Christ said this:

Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV – “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Then shortly later said this:

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

When you argue against these Truths with vigor you are in essence denying Jesus Christ publicly.

Matthew 10:33 NKJV – But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

When Jesus Christ denies you to his Father, He is also blotting your name form the Book of Life.

If this makes you laugh, or not think this is the Truth then you have shown all that God is not within you, nor most likely never was. Therefore, the verse from John chapter eight fully applies to you. So, I will restate it.

John 8:44 NKJV – You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

And what is the fate of those that have their names no longer written in the Book of Life:

Revelation 20:15 NKJV – And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

“You are short sighted.”

This is one of those statements someone makes to many that have embraced their Christian faith. They say that following the Bible limits you. That there is more to the world than what can be found within the Bible. It would be laughable if it weren’t so sad.

When someone accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior and strive to be a reflection of Him, by following the teachings within the Bible, does not limit them. They actually expands their horizons.

Many that embrace science fiction are those searching for a future that will have amazement and wonders. They seek after teleportation, terraforming, celestial phenomena, dinosaurs, higher beings, including ascension into a higher life form, immortality, multiple dimensions, creation.

They seek after these things because they wish to expand their horizons and seek after a wondrous reality if not for them, but for their children, or their children, or their children. To me this is true short sightedness. Even though they do seek after these things they feel they are unattainable to them. That their life is meaningless to the point that they wish to tear down society as it now stands to hurry the arrival of this new phenomenal world that is yet to be. This is true short sightedness. This is not what those that truly understand their belief in God expect or accept.

Through the Bible they know these things have taken place, are taking place and will take place: terraforming, celestial phenomena, dinosaurs, higher beings, including ascension into a higher life form; immortality, multiple dimensions, creation. What is most important is that they themselves can be an eternal witness to these very things and are themselves promised to ascend into higher and immortal beings as servants of the One who created it all. The Lord God Almighty.

The Lord God that is within the alternate dimension, or reality if you like. That is called Heaven. Whose Son after His resurrection appeared out of nowhere into a locked room twice.

So who is in reality short sighted? The person that thinks only of today, tomorrow, this temporal life span of up to about one hundred years. Or the person that turns to God and His Son and plans for their life to come in their ascended and immortal bodies that all humanity is promised to have. A life that will last billions upon billions of years. A life that will be filled with wonder and sights so beautiful it will put all the beauty of this planet to shame.

For those that are the true short sighted though. Theirs is not this spectacular. Theirs is to be left in one place, one location, in continual pain and mental and physical torment. All due to their true short-sighted beliefs that the Bible is nothing but a book to be changed to their temporal whims and desires. Why? Because they wish to live in their personal version of happiness now, not when God has promised it to them in the enteral life to come. How truly sorrowing it is to me to write these words, for my love for my neighbor is for them to accept Jesus Christ and to stop living in sin. For as long as they seek temporal rewards, they have sealed their own fate themselves, and they have only themselves to blame.

Let us look at these things that are found within Science Fiction that appeals to those that wish to deny the existence of God.

Teleportation

Genesis 19:16 KJV – And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

Acts 8:39-40 KJV – And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

In the first example we see Lot and his family removed from their house and taken to the gates of Sodom. In the second example we see Phillp under orders of the Holy Spirit to go to a road that goes from Jerusalem to Gaza. From this road after baptizing the Ethiopian he is taken to Azotus. This is a distance of approximately twenty miles from the road to Gaza over undefined terrain. How the wording is shown in these verses. This is done instantaneously, just as it was for Jesus Christ when he appeared in the locked room.

Terraforming

Revelation 21:1 KJV  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

This verse was self-explanatory.

 Celestial phenomena

Joshua 10:13 KJV – And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Isaiah 38:8 KJV – Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

Once again self-explanatory. They have written off and tried to hide the fact that they had to include these events in the calculations needed to land upon the moon. Now to those that are lunar landing naysayers. We’re talking 1969. All the excuses you use to say the landing was made up were physically and technologically impossible to make the landing be untrue. In actuality the space race caused the creation of these very technologies people say caused the fallacy to be created decades after the landings actually occurred. This comes from someone who was alive in 1969 and at that time the transiter, which was created due to the space race was just coming into its own.

Dinosaurs

Job 40:15-18 KJV – Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.

Look at the behemoth in Job. A tail upon the creature is described as being like a Lebanon cedar. For the longest time many could not say that this “behemoth” was in fact a dinosaur since for years they had tails from dinosaurs dragging the ground. Then scientist figured out that their tails actually went straight back and looks like the trunk of a cedar tree, long straight and tappers to a point. Moreover, Lebanon cedars were huge, used as pillars and masts. So again, science confirms the Bible and thus confirms God. Just think about that for a bit.

Ascension into a higher life form; immortality

1 Corinthians 15:52-53 KJV – In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

The one thing that those that deny God don’t want to accept is that the promised immortality found within the Bible is offered to them. To them personally. It is not something for our descendants, but for every single person that was ever conceived.

Now I use the word conceived for a reason. For God knows all before they were even conceived.

Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Do you think Jeremiah is the only person God knows before they are born? I think not. With that in mind then saying “that was ever conceived” works.

Therefore, ALL humanity. Be they sinner or saint WILL receive eternity. It is just how they will receive it. In the service of God or in eternal agony.

It is this last statement that makes people short sighted. Because most do not want to accept, they may face billions upon billions of years in pain and agony. They say, “How can a God do this to people.”

Again, this new last statement shows people are truly short sighted, and ignorant of the truth. God doesn’t do this to people. They do it to themselves. All are judged by THEIR works. Their actions. Their behavior. Their sins. People put themselves either in the service of God or in the lake of fire. This is shown in Romans 2:1-11 for those that call themselves “Christians.” It is shown in Revelation 20:11-15 for all others. That it is their actions that places them where they will live for all eternity.

You need to stop being short sighted. You need to stop listening to lies. You need to accept that we will face judgement if we don’t end sin within our lives. All that don’t accept Jesus Christ will stand before the Great White Throne Judgement.

Here is another thing that many are short sighted about. They think they can say they follow Christ and still have the huge house, the fancy vehicles and clothes. This is a lie. Their short sightedness has turned them into the lukewarm.

Becoming the lukewarm makes them worse than those that were short sighted and denied there is a God. They too, even though they at first accepted Christ as their Savior, will stand before the Great White Throne Judgement.

This is what happens to all that choose to be short sighted. Be they so-called “Christian.” Or they call themselves Atheist, Agnostic or follow some other man-made religion.

Oh. There it is. Someone reading or listening just made another short-sighted statement. A statement that Christianity is a man-made religion. The religions that came out of the teachings found within the Bible are mostly man-made religions.

True followers for Jesus Christ do not follow religious doctrines. They follow what the Bible teaches. They attempt to live a needs-only lifestyle. They spread the Word of God. They place all others before themselves. For they desire for all to be accepted as Children of God and are fully dedicated to achieving this goal.

Time is quickly running out. Stop being short sighted and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Therefore, the eternal life you are to live will be one filled with joy and not one filled with eternal agony. It is truly up to you and you alone. There is no once saved always saved. There is no faith is all you need. There is a God. He created everything. He has approached you. You were just being short sighted because you think it all revolves around you. Your choices do, but nothing else. It is your choice on where you will face eternity. Your choice.

I mean you have accepted all that Sci-Fi offers and teaches. Why can’t you try and be long-sighted. Open your mind to expanding your horizons. Horizons that can lead to billions and billions of years exploring a new universe and living upon a new earth where there are no oceans.

One of the greatest sorrows that is witnessed in this world today, is the belief that all you need say is: “I believe in Jesus” and call yourself a “Christian” and you are all set for an eternal life in heaven.

This is a lie. PERIOD.

Stop. Stop getting angry. Stop saying that what you are reading or hearing here is BS.

Listen. Pay attention. Learn. First step. If you did get angry at what was just said listen to the Bible.

“Hatred.” “Contentions.” “Outbursts of wrath.”

All of these are words that reflect anger that is what was just expressed just now. What is the fate of any that shows this type of anger?

“Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Now we have to truly understand the pretext of these words written to the Galatians. These were people that had asked Jesus to be their Savior. They had been baptized. They were saved. Yet, what is the very first thing written to the people of Galatia after the greeting?

They started listening to a false gospel. A gospel that used the Truth and the Name of Christ. However, it was not the Truth any longer. What was it they were listening to? This is answered in the tenth verse, so I will address this with a different translation.

Galatians 1:10 AMP – Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah).

“Do I seek to please men.” “If I were still seeking popularity with men.”

Now understand. Most that stand upon the dais and face the crowd seek to please those listening to them. This means they are not bond servants of God. They are false teachers. They are twice over cursed to damnation. For they are not leading people to Salvation, but along with them to damnation. Because the message they are teaching does not teach those listening to stop living in the sins listed in the fifth chapter of the letter to the people of Galatia.

Accordingly, the larger the building called a “church” and the larger the congregation that goes to these buildings are in truth already damned. Especially if they show any of the sins given in chapter 5. So, I will restate them once again.

“Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like.”

I remember back to my early days of my Christian life. I remember wanting to inform parents about the subtle influence of Satan in cartoons that was leading their children away from Christ. I went to a large church one Sunday morning and I was placing flyers upon windows of vehicles in the parking lot. I was approached by a man who confronted me and then cursing chased me out of the church parking lot. I didn’t realize it then. As I do now that this was varication that this large “church” was not in the service of God, but Satan. As are all buildings that use the word “church.” The bigger the closer to Satan than to God.

Once again. A building that is called a “church” is not the Church of God. It is those that profess to following Jesus Christ and live a life as taught within the Word of God.

Now right here someone will protest saying we must gather together.

Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV – And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Gathering together in a building that preaches false teachings is not the gathering of fellow Christians. This is actually done more on social media than in buildings or even homes. This is the Truth and any who challenge it wish to be pleased. Marking them as people from Galatia not the Body of Christ. Therefore, as many in Galatia they are not welcome in the kingdom of God.

Angry again? Really? More varication. There is a need to start listening to the Truth and not something that tickles your ears.

2 Timothy 3:16- 4:4 NKJV – All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”

Well the time has come when people do not endure sound doctrine. They seek to have their own desires met. Their comforts, their riches, their possessions, their property. For they have turned away from the Truth and ARE turning aside to fables.

How is it I know they are turning aside to fables?

We don’t have to go far. Let’s look at the extremely popular TV series “The Chosen.”

I watched the first three episodes. All I encountered was false teachings and outright lies. Even things that were said and done that have absolutely no historical or Biblical foundation.

A fable is defined as a short story that tells a general truth or is only partly based on fact, or literature of this type.

“Or is partly based on fact.”  If only part of it is based upon fact the rest of it is based upon what?

A lie. That makes the entire thing a lie. And who created lies?

John 8:44 NKJV – You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Since “The Chosen” is a fable aka lies. It is of Satan not of God and must be rejected. However, again there will be anger and laughter. Because it makes people feel good. They are pleased by what they hear and see. So, again as reflected in the first chapter of Galatians those that made it are twice cursed. Not by my word, but the Word of God.

Cursed to damnation for they are leading those that watch and praise it not to heaven but to the lake of fire. For there is no such thing as once saved always saved. For that would imply that God shows favoritism, which is opposite of what is taught by the word of God.

Romans 2:6-11 NLT – He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

These Words in Romans were aimed directly at those professing to be “Christian.” Again those living in sin and yet professing to be followers of Christ. It is made clear they shall face judgement.

Now one of the things people that cling to OSAS and faith alone is these verses.

Revelation 20:4-6 NKJV – And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Now this resurrection is shown to take place and occurs in Revelation Chapter 7. This is shown to take place at the middle of the Tribulation. However, it is said elsewhere in the Bible that Christ will return as a thief in the night. This shows two separate events for at the middle of the tribulation the sun and the moon’s light will be cut in half. That is a sign a portent. Then Christ could not come as a thieve in the night for there are warning signs. The sun and the moon. Therefore, this clearly shows multiple raptures  form what is called the first resurrection.

All that are resurrected up to the middle of the tribulation are included in the first resurrection. Now what does these verses in Revelation chapter twenty say?

“Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

Those that truly follow the teachings of Christ and are either in the first or second rapture will never stand in judgement.

One of those popular people that stand upon the dais said that if you are a true disciple of Christ. That WHEN you stand before the judgement throne you will be passed and go on to glory. This is opposite of what we just heard from the Word of God. Consequently, this labels this man as what he truly is a man pleasing those listening. So we once again return to Galatians one showing he is twice cursed. And those that pack the pews are loving having their ears tickled with this man’s people pleasing message.

Believing they will come into heaven no matter how they live their lives.  Once again, totally opposite what is taught within the Word of God.

It must be understood. There is still a little time left to all to fix their relationship with God. Do you know how many people that I know for a fact that profess to being “Christian” and go to the buildings called “church.” However, they do behave in the ways listed in Galatians 5. Or they live in the sins listed in Romans 1.

Romans 1:28-32 NKJV – And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Repent. Downsize. Live a needs-only lifestyle. Remove the sins. Remove the sins. Remove the sins.

God Bless

Matthew 3:1-12 NKJV – In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: “THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS: ‘PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD; MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT.’ ” Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

I started today with these verses for a reason. The other day I saw on social media one of those guys that stands up before an audience and attempts to preach the Word of God. AKA a false teacher.

What clued me in was his scare tactic in the words he spoke in this media snippet. He said that if you miss the rapture, which most will. Look at most of my past teachings to understand why I say most. However, I won’t waste my time at this moment.

Anyway, He said if you miss the rapture. Go hide in a cave.

Let’s look at that last sentence. “Go hide in a cave.”

Revelation 6:15-17 NKJV – And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

These words are spoken by those that have denied God. Denied Jesus Christ. Therefore in essence this false teacher is speaking to non-believers. He is speaking to his own kind.

Also we must understand something else about these verses. The first six seals occur before antichrist is revealed. The mentioned verses earlier occur just before the antichrist is fully revealed. He is fully revealed when?

Daniel 9:27 NKJV – Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

“In the middle of the week.”

This indicates that the seventh seal is in the last half of the tribulation. The sixth seal happens just before the last rapture of the those that are Christian and are uncountable.

Revelation 7:9-14 NKJV – After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The last rapture occurs when the light of the sun and the moon is cut in half. When the antichrist is fully revealed. Therefore any left after the middle of the tribulation are not nor ever were Christian. Therefore, sure go hide in caves…. Heathens.

Now back on point.

Why mention John the Baptist? Because this is how those that truly seek to follow Christ and find themselves here after the first rapture SHOULD start to live. In the wilderness. Living in rags preaching the True Word of God. Pointing out the false teachers that live seeking what the world esteems.

For clarity Mammon is defined as riches, money, possessions, property.

Simply we are to live a needs-only lifestyle and spread the word of God. This will not be extremely easy after the first rapture. For it will become extremely difficult to sell and purchase. This is due to that fact that is when people will be given the choice to accept the mark of the beast thus allow them to buy and sell or be beheaded. Much like how John the Baptist died.

Matthew 14:1-11 NKJV – At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report about Jesus and said to his servants, “This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him.” For Herod had laid hold of John and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife. Because John had said to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.” And although he wanted to put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet. But when Herod’s birthday was celebrated, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and pleased Herod. Therefore he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask. So she, having been prompted by her mother, said, “Give me John the Baptist’s head here on a platter.” And the king was sorry; nevertheless, because of the oaths and because of those who sat with him, he commanded it to be given to her. So he sent and had John beheaded in prison. And his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.

Since we know those that refuse to take the mark will be beheaded as witnessed by this verse:

Revelation 20:4 NKJV – And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

But why were they definitely beheaded?

“Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God.”

This is verification that those that are left after the first rapture have a defined task they must perform. They MUST preach the Word of God and insist that only through Jesus Christ can salvation be achieved.

So any that tells you to run and hide in a cave are showing who they serve and it is not the Son of God. For it is made very clear that if we truly profess to being a child of God we will willingly and proudly profess the Truth of the Word of God unto their death. Thus making them worthy of the white robes they will wear when they stand before the Throne of God.

“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Once again how are they going to wash their robes and make them white? By the action, by the works of teaching the Truth about God through Jesus Christ and calling a sin a sin. This is made very clear in the wording of the sentence. As verified when looking at how it is written in the KJV:

“These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

This clearly shows that it is their actions that helps in how they wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb. As we have shown earlier it is by preaching about Jesus and the Word of God.

This further shows that those that preach of only a pre-tribulation rapture are teaching a falsehood and so label themselves as false teachers. There will be multiple raptures. The first and the smallest will be the pre-tribulation. The largest will be the second rapture and the last for those that profess to being followers of Jesus Christ. AKA Christians. True Christians. Those that do not seek to hide in caves. But proudly stand before all saying that only through Jesus Christ can salvation truly be achieved. By saying these words:

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

God Bless

Discussion

In many of the buildings called “churches” you will encounter those that teach, those that preach and those that listen to teachings which instruct those that listen to seek to improve the self. Glorify the self, worship the self.

This is what the Bible says about seeking the self.

James 3:14-15 NKJV – But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.

Those teaching to glorify the self are teaching falsely. They listen not to God. Through the Holy Spirit, but to demons pretending to be the Holy Spirit.

They teach children that they can be the best that they can be. But, where is God in this statement?

Per what the Holy Spirit Who inspired James to write those words spoken earlier shows clearing that this teaching does come from God at all. Therefore, God is not present.

Yet these teachings are taught in buildings called “churches.” So. It’s just a building, and since they teach man-made teachings inspired by demons it just shows that these buildings are just that: buildings. Full of people once or twice a week seeking to make themselves glorified in their own minds. Showing they are earthly, sensual, demonic.

Many are upset at hearing these things. The mere fact that they are upset is validation they do not listen to God but their flesh.

Galatians 5:17-21 NKJV – For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Hearing the truth is painful at times. But required if you truly seek sanctification.

What does the Bible truly teach? To answer that we need to understand true gifts given by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 12:1-8 NKJV – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

“Not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think.”

This shows that we are not to glorify ourselves. In fact, if anything we are to glorify all others. By thinking of them before we even consider ourselves. This can never be accomplished by glorifying ourselves. By glorifying the self those that do this become haughty. In fact, this is the complete opposite teaching, which truly identifies it as evil. For anything opposing God is just that, evil.

Seeking to glorify the self creates a haughty spirit. What does the Bible say about being haughty?

Proverbs 16:18 NKJV – Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

Proverbs 18:12 NKJV – Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.

Proverbs 21:4 NKJV – A haughty look, a proud heart, And the plowing of the wicked are sin.

When glorifying the self, you gain a haughty look and also a proud heart.

Many that say they follow Christ do their best not to do anything in the OT. This is actually counter to what Jesus Christ Himself taught.

The laws removed by the cross were those governing sacrifices. No other laws were removed. How we are to live and interact with others has not changed. Right here some will say: what about slavery?

Then they aren’t paying attention to the greatest commandments:

Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV – Jesus said to him, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

“You shall love you neighbor are yourself.”

Would you enslave yourself? That question should silence everyone. But it won’t, because their opinion is greater than anyone else…. especially God Himself. For they glorify themselves. They are greater than anyone and anything….. again… especially God Himself.

That is what is being taught by those in the buildings called “churches” that tell those that listen to glorifying themselves. That God is within them and they can achieve anything because of it.

Achieve what? Gain earthly wealth and status? Seek esteem in the sight of other humans?

Luke 16:13-17 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.

Mammon – G3126 – mamónas – riches, money, possessions, property.

Isn’t this what they are teaching those that listen to seek after by glorifying themselves? To seek after riches, after money, after possessions, property. Yes, it is. Then who is it that will reward them.

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.”

Therefore, since only Satan can give earthly rewards, then it is Satan that gives them these things. This is verified in these verses from 1 John

“These are not from the Father, but are from this world.”

And as we just established Satan was given authority over this temporal plain.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Any who teach and think that glorifying the self is blind to the Truth, which shows that they are not followers of Christ. Even though they go to a building called a “church.”

The church is not a building. It is those that truly follow Christ and His teachings found within the Bible which as has been shown here are opposite those that teach to glorify the self.

What is needed is to is to stop trying to glorify the self and start to Glorify God through Jesus Christ. It is He is that only being that deserves to be glorified. It even says so in the Lord’s Prayer.

Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV – In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses , As we forgive those who trespass against us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

“For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.”

I have updated this myself to this: For Yours is the kingdom and You have all the power and You Lord God Creator of the Universe deserve all and only the glory forever and ever. Amen.

No other being should be glorified in any way shape or form other than our Creator. Therefore, those that say to glorify the self are saying that they wish to glorify themselves over their God. Thus saying they are greater than God Himself.

They must repent and turn from their ways. And not glorify the self but God through Jesus Christ. They must leave those buildings that teach that they glorify the self for they worship Satan not God. Don’t deny this Truth for it is part of the repentance required. For as long as you listen to false teachings you will fall further and further away from your salvation.

Time is running out. For the first rapture is near and they will learn the hard way that if they don’t repent now they will see that they have been left behind. All because they abandoned God to glorify themselves.

Many still cling to false teachings. They think they are on the right track to heaven, but in most cases, they aren’t even saved. They profess to following God through His Son Jesus Christ. However, they think all they need to do is say the words and all is fine. They will leave this earthly body and they will awaken in the presence of God. They think faith is all you need and once you are saved you are always saved and nothing else is required by them personally.

This in most cases though is a lie. Yes, you heard that correctly a lie.

“Prove it!” someone just shouts at this statement.

Look about you the reader or listener. If you are living in a fancy house or houses. Have fancy clothes, fancy vehicles. Unused rooms in your large house full of possessions that do nothing but gather dust. Then you are guilty as charged. Not by me, but by the Holy Spirit and verified by the Word of God.

Item 1:

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Item 2:

1 John 2:15-16 NKJV – Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

Item 3:

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Item 4:

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Item 5:

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Item 6:

James 2:26 NKJV – For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

These are the items in the case against those that profess to being servants of God yet all they truly worship is themselves. What this makes them is people who pretend to being followers of Jesus Christ, however they are friends of the world. This brings in the last item in the case and seals the case against them by the Word of God alone.

Item 7:

Revelation 3:15-17 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—

Therefore, since those that have protested to date are vomited out of the body of Christ. They are not saved nor are they going to heaven. All by their own actions.

Now understand I bring the case to the people for one purpose and one alone. To awaken those listening and reading to one determination. That they need to fix their relationship with God and do what we are all commanded and taught. This is why in three gospels the story of the young rich man is included. For within it we see someone that believes he is going to heaven, yet he still has doubt. Therefore, he asks Christ this question. Let’s listen into this once again:

Matthew 19:16-22 NKJV – Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, ” ‘YOU SHALL NOT MURDER,’ ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘YOU SHALL NOT STEAL,’ ‘YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER,’ and, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ ” The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Items in these verses.

Items A: he follows the commandments taught by the Bible.

Items B: Jesus Christ Himself says this is not enough.

Item C: Jesus Christ orders the rich man to sell ALL his possessions and give them away.

Item D: Jesus Christ orders the rich man to follow Him. Meaning to spread the Word of God.

Item E: The young rich man rejects God. Becuase his possessions are more important to him than his salvation.

Simply, he chooses damnation over salvation. He chooses the temporal over the eternal.

This is how most now live. They would rather suffer for all eternity over having a fancy house, clothes and vehicles.

Why this is. Is because they have not been taught the true teachings within the Word of God which tells us to downsize and to live a needs-only lifestyle. Then to use our earthly wealth to spread the Word of God. This is proven with these verses from the Bible:

1 Timothy 6:6-10 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

And

1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV – Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Stop fighting the case against you. Plead guilty.

Repent.

Transform your life.

Let us define the word repent from the Word of God.

Repent – G3340 – metanoeó – repent, change my mind, change the inner man (particularly with reference to acceptance of the will of God), to change one’s mind or purpose. To think differently or afterwards.

“Particularly with reference to the acceptance of the will of God.”

What is acceptance of the will of God?

John 14:15 NKJV – “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Therefore, just professing to be a follower of Jesus Christ is not enough. Jesus Himself made that clear in the verses where He was talking to the young rich man.

When you truly follow Jesus you must follow His command to live a needs-only lifestyle and use the majority of your earthly wealth to spread the word of God and to help those in need.

If all that truly professed to being a follower of Christ lived this simple command by Jesus Christ. There would be no homeless. No poor. No hungry.

This is the guilt that those that insist they can live their lives as they see fit and say they are followers of Christ must bear as they are vomited out of the Holy Body of Jesus Christ. Therefore they must embrace the Truth and accept their sin.

Time is running out. Earthly lives must change now. Not tomorrow. For any moment the first rapture will occur. Most will be left behind. Thinking and believing they are destine to heaven. However, they will find themselves left here on earth. Then they will be given two choices. Take the mark of the beast and live as they have lived to date. Or refuse the mark and be hunted, starved and then ultimately beheaded.

Martyrs that will be stored for a short time under the heavenly altar. However, this is only if they choose to truly follow Christ and live without material possessions.

Once again Repent!

Admit your guilt and confess then change your ways. For the glory of Christ.

God Bless

Discussion

I had a dream where a man parked his refurbished bright yellow ’65 Ford Mustang in a very bad spot where someone that still drove a Hugo was trying to leave and banged up his fancy car.

The owner of the fancy now messed up car came out of the store he was in and started ranting. Somehow, I got involved in an argument with him to the point that he wanted to shoot me. As he was pointing the gun at me, I said: “a loser was risen.”

This caused him to freeze in place. He looked at his gun and then his damaged car dropped the gun and turned and walked away.

This man had come to the point of murder over an object. Something that rusts away. Something temporal. He thought himself special, select, a winner.

However, all it took to stop him were these words:

“A Loser was risen.”

Why would these words stop him? Why saying “a Loser…”

Isaiah 53:2-4 NKJV – For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

“He has no form or comeliness…. There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief……. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him….. He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted.”

This describes a loser. Someone not even appealing to look upon. However, those that have studied the Word of God. Know that this is how Jesus Christ looked nearly two thousand years ago. Someone to be ridiculed and made fun of and ultimately to be hung upon a cross. For the sins of all humanity, most of whom will reject Him for mere possessions, property and wealth.

This is why Jesus Christ said these Words:

Matthew 6:19-21, 24 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also…….. “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Mammon – G3126 – mamónas – riches, money, possessions, property.

Therefore, those that seek to become rich, and use their money to gain possessions and property hate God. This is why these verses appear in letters of followers of Jesus Christ.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Those that seek after possessions, property and require money to achieve these things do not follow Jesus Christ. For in their eyes, they do not desire to be called a loser. For only a loser would seek to live a needs-only lifestyle. However, the Bible says this about those that have earthly wealth:

1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV – Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Earlier in this very chapter it is made extremely clear we are to live a needs-only existence:

1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

Therefore, anyone seeking materialism, prosperity. The large house or houses. The fancy vehicles. The sporting clubs or events. All which teach and enforce hording one’s earthly wealth unto themselves makes them the true losers. For only those that are loyal to God through Jesus Christ and His teachings will inherit eternal life. Those that would rather have earthly wealth are destined to damnation.

Yes, damnation. For due to chasing after materialism they have made themselves lukewarm, because they seek to befriend the world and all that it offers. Hence, they are vomited from the body of Christ. Because they have made themselves enemies of God.

But back on track.

Jesus the Son of God. Was seen as a loser to all that walked upon the face of the earth nearly two thousand years ago. This is one of the main reasons He was rejected by these people. They were expecting a warrior. They were expecting someone beautiful. He was seen as something to scorn and ridicule. This is seen in Luke after one of His parables:

Luke 16:13-17 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him.

Those in places of power within the religion of the Jewish people though more of what men of sin sought after than God. And since Jesus was not handsome and spoke against seeking after earthly riches. These men dressed in religious robes ridiculed their True Savior and rejected His teachings of living a needs-only lifestyle.

What is highly esteemed amongst men, is seen as an abhorrence to God. An abomination. Therefore, to seek after what is seen to make one a loser is a blessing in the sight of God and will lead to an eternal life.

James 2:5 NKJV – Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

Psalms 37:11-13 NKJV – But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.

Seeking after beauty. Seeking luxuries. Seeking after what all others seek after is not seeking after God. For it is made very clear what we are to be content with. So, I will restate it once again:

1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

And what does the Bible say next?

1 Timothy 6:9-10 NKJV – But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Seeking after what is not of this world makes those that truly seek after it losers. For there are no earthly rewards. No temporal satisfaction. In fact, it is seen as something to look down upon. Like looking at the homely face of Jesus that walked this earth two thousand years ago. Something that is seen as unappealing.

Seeking to be a loser is the greatest of goals. Those that seek after more, that seek after what is seen as something all should seek after. As has been taught for centuries. The seeking of wealth is not for those that seek to serve God through Jesus Christ. Any who say otherwise seek after and teach the world and he who is in charge of it at this time.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Therefore, any who teach and preach of earthly wealth and prosperity teach of Satan for he rewards those that follow him.

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

It is they that are the true losers. For seeking after temporal rewards and glory gives us nothing for eternity that is our true life. This earthly existence is the proving ground to see if we are worthy to be His servants and obey His will and commands. By sacrificing what is highly esteemed amongst humanity is the greatest challenge and takes the greatest courage. Making those that seek after this, not losers, but eternal winners. Heroes in the sight of God.

God Bless
