As we move through this life we now live within. We are torn this way and that. Throughout our lives once we cross the threshold of the age of consent, these factors that tear at our souls increase. Multiple factors attack our conscience. All designed to distract us from Who we are to truly seek after. God through Jesus Christ.

We are pulled by our emotions. We are pulled by our family, our friends, our education. By religion. By our jobs. All distract us from God through Jesus Christ.

Most never find the True balance. Most think they find it. But what they find is acceptance within the world. This is the opposite of what they should have found. For the world is opposite of God. They are enemies. The Bible makes it clear.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

1 John 2:15-16 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

The challenge is to abandon all that we have learned that is not found in the Bible. This for the most part never occurs for anyone. I know this because for decade I followed the wide path without truly realizing. As I finally listened to God in 2013. I finally starter to learn to seek sanctification.

For those that don’t understand this last word. I will try and help you understand. Sanctification is an ongoing and continual process to seek to remove all sin from within us through prayer and study. Also know that none can remove all sin from within us. However, we can peel them away like the skin of an onion. This is sanctification.

Sanctification can only be accomplished when the one seeking it strives to please God and not themselves. This is also known as “works.” Any who seek to please the self lives in sin.

Romans 2:8 NKJV – but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath,

James 3:13-18 NKJV – Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

“But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.”

Understand this sentence is more complex than one would think. Especially the last part of it. Most in today’s world use religion as an excuse to not only fucus upon themselves, but to keep their earthly wealth for their owe glory and satisfaction. They boast that God rewarded them this is a lie against the Truth.

Note: I said religion.

A religion is a man-made group that seeks to parade about as if they are better than those about them. This causes them to be haughty and not just self-serving but self-glorifying. All of this is a sin in the sight of God. Therefore, most religions serve Satan not God. This is verified practically every Sunday when all you hear are speeches that cause those listening to feel reassured about their own self-worth. This why Jesus said this in the book of Luke:

Luke 16:13-15 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money as well as possesions.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

Our true challenge is to stop thinking of the self, which includes seeking after those things that many esteem. The closest we are to think of the self is that we are to treat others as we would treat ourselves.

Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV  Jesus said to him, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” That means if you buy an expensive vehicle you must buy everyone an expensive vehicle. Now we all know this is an impossibility. Then how do you offset this?

The answer? We live a needs-only lifestyle. By living with the cheapest and the least. We follow the teachings of the Bible and are able to help those in need and to spread the Word of God.

When people think they can live as they want and think they are going to heaven. They become the lukewarm the moment they do this. Rejecting any chance of salvation. In truth they are seen as worse than those that openly deny God. This is why they are vomited out of the Body of Christ.

Revelation 3:15-19 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

I have been giving multiple teachings about what is found within the Bible. The fact that most live their lives as they always have. Shows most have not studied the Word of God for themselves and they take the words of man over the Word of God.

Why they listen to the words of man over the Word of God is simple. The words of man say the name “Jesus” mention God. However, they teach that the self is all. That God is in them and they are all powerful and they can accomplish anything. This in turn causes them to chase after worldly rewards. This in turn causes them to get these rewards from the being that has the power to reward in this world.

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Must hate to hear this. Because they don’t wish to answer the challenge God offers all through Jesus Christ. They refuse the challenge because to answer it they would have to stop living as they have lived to date, plus it would also bring into doubt how those before them have lived their lives. This is a sad reality, but it is the Truth.

Most will stand before the Great White Throne Judgement other than to appear before the Glorified Christ in the heavens above at the first rapture. However, this is the real Truth. Upsetting as it may be.

Too many have decided upon a people pleasing message than to accept the Truth of the Word of God. Cursing themselves.

Galatians 1:6-10 AMP – I am surprised and astonished that you are so quickly turning renegade and deserting Him Who invited and called you by the grace (unmerited favor) of Christ (the Messiah) [and that you are transferring your allegiance] to a different [even an opposition] gospel. Not that there is [or could be] any other [genuine Gospel], but there are [obviously] some who are troubling and disturbing and bewildering you [with a different kind of teaching which they offer as a gospel] and want to pervert and distort the Gospel of Christ (the Messiah) [into something which it absolutely is not]. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to and different from that which we preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)! As we said before, so I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from or contrary to that which you received [from us], let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)! Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah).

Notice how the first part of these verses is stated.

“I am surprised and astonished that you are so quickly turning renegade and deserting Him.”

They get saved and then quickly turn away from their salvation. Turning “renegade.”

Renegade – a person who deserts a party or cause for another.

Desert – to withdraw from or leave usually without intent to return.

Now note the last verse.

“Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah).”

“If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ.”

Those that make people happy and thus themselves popular per these verses are cursed to eternal damnation. This is how most that call themselves ministers, pastor, priest now qualify. The large the church the more guilty.

They abandoned the challenge to follow God. For their own esteem to other humans. They willfully chose to be an abomination in the sight of God.

It is time to repent and learn to follow and accept what is written within the Word of God. It is time to stop thinking of self-glorification and reward. It is time to downsize and use our excess earthly wealth to help others and to spread the True Gospel. This is the challenge that MUST be accomplished. NOW!!

Last week we started the case against those that profess to being “Christian.” That go to church on Sunday. Yet they live or seek after large houses. They seek fancy vehicles. They seek after and gather possessions.

Many that do this believe they are special, exempt, chosen. (Romans 2:11) Many even act haughty because they are rich and important in their own eyes. (Romans 12:16)

The Verdict.

As was established last week most of these that live this way are false Christians. The case was proven through the Word of God not by hearsay or conjecture. However, there will be those that still wish to throw out the “you are judging” card.

So, let’s go to a judgement. The ultimate judgement. The judgment for all those that missed the rapture, which will be most that now profess to being “Christian” at this very time. As well as the millions that have passed from this earth over the last two thousand years that also professed this very belief as well.

Revelation 20:11-15 NKJV – Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

How are those that stand before the judgement tried?

“And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.”

“And the dead were judged according to the their works.”

Works – G2041 – ergon – work, task, employment; action; that which is wrought or made, a work. Toil (as an effort or occupation), by implication an act, deed, doing, labor.

Also, note what is said in Roman 2 for those that profess to being “Christian.”

Romans 2:5-11 NKJV – But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “WILL RENDER TO EACH ONE ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.

“Will render to each one according to his deeds.”

As we read and heard in the definition of the word “works.” The word “deeds” is within the definition. Therefore, any who say works is not a requirement for salvation are calling the Judge that sits in the Great White Throne a liar. This accusation by the way counts as an action, a deed, works, against the Judge.

Any who calls the Judge a liar works for the father of all lies. But then Jesus Christ knew that and called out those that worked for their father.

John 8:44 NKJV – You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

This is an item within the books that is used to convict those that think their name is written in the Book of Life. This is why Jesus said these words:

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

They think they served God through Jesus Christ. However, they received earthly rewards, and in most cases, they teach others not to follow the commandments of Christ. Thus, making them those that practice lawlessness.

John 14:15 NKJV – “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Therefore, since they are not known to Jesus Christ and so defy him. Who is it that rewards with earthly rewards?

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

These are written in their book of their life’s works and is used against them. In the trial before the Great White Throne.

However, once they have been vomited out of the Body of Christ their name is no longer written in the Book of Life. As is witnessed again from the Word of God:

Revelation 3:1-5 NKJV – “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

“I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.”

And.

“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life.”

“Blot out his name from the Book of Life.”

Through their works they are seen as dead, otherwise known as removed from the Book of Life. Murdered by Satan by rewarding them with earthly rewards which rot and rust away.

Many will protest and become angry at these words. Those that do this add more to the books which document their works, which will be read before the Great White Throne. Why will their protest and anger be used against them?

Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

“Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Again the verdict is given from the Word of God.

In another book in the NT the verdict is given out that will be passed down on the great day of judgement before the Great White Throne:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NKJV – Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Time is very quickly running out. The first rapture is due any time. Only those that live a needs-only lifestyle and do their best to spread the True Word of God, as well as helping those in need with their earthly riches will see the kingdom of Heaven. This is made very clear within Christ’s teachings.

It is now that change and true repentance must come. For without doing so those that reject these Truths pass judgement upon themselves as it has always been and always will. By their own works as is make very clear within the Bible.

For only by faith and works do we show loyalty to God through Jesus Christ.

James 2:26 NKJV – For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

God Bless

Discussion

Many still cling to false teachings. They think they are on the right track to heaven, but in most cases, they aren’t even saved. They profess to following God through His Son Jesus Christ. However, they think all they need to do is say the words and all is fine. They will leave this earthly body and they will awaken in the presence of God. They think faith is all you need and once you are saved you are always saved and nothing else is required by them personally.

This in most cases though is a lie. Yes, you heard that correctly a lie.

“Prove it!” someone just shouts at this statement.

Look about you the reader or listener. If you are living in a fancy house or houses. Have fancy clothes, fancy vehicles. Unused rooms in your large house full of possessions that do nothing but gather dust. Then you are guilty as charged. Not by me, but by the Holy Spirit and verified by the Word of God.

Item 1:

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Item 2:

1 John 2:15-16 NKJV – Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

Item 3:

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Item 4:

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Item 5:

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Item 6:

James 2:26 NKJV – For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

These are the items in the case against those that profess to being servants of God yet all they truly worship is themselves. What this makes them is people who pretend to being followers of Jesus Christ, however they are friends of the world. This brings in the last item in the case and seals the case against them by the Word of God alone.

Item 7:

Revelation 3:15-17 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—

Therefore, since those that have protested to date are vomited out of the body of Christ. They are not saved nor are they going to heaven. All by their own actions.

Now understand I bring the case to the people for one purpose and one alone. To awaken those listening and reading to one determination. That they need to fix their relationship with God and do what we are all commanded and taught. This is why in three gospels the story of the young rich man is included. For within it we see someone that believes he is going to heaven, yet he still has doubt. Therefore, he asks Christ this question. Let’s listen into this once again:

Matthew 19:16-22 NKJV – Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, ” ‘YOU SHALL NOT MURDER,’ ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘YOU SHALL NOT STEAL,’ ‘YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER,’ and, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ ” The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Items in these verses.

Items A: he follows the commandments taught by the Bible.

Items B: Jesus Christ Himself says this is not enough.

Item C: Jesus Christ orders the rich man to sell ALL his possessions and give them away.

Item D: Jesus Christ orders the rich man to follow Him. Meaning to spread the Word of God.

Item E: The young rich man rejects God. Becuase his possessions are more important to him than his salvation.

Simply, he chooses damnation over salvation. He chooses the temporal over the eternal.

This is how most now live. They would rather suffer for all eternity over having a fancy house, clothes and vehicles.

Why this is. Is because they have not been taught the true teachings within the Word of God which tells us to downsize and to live a needs-only lifestyle. Then to use our earthly wealth to spread the Word of God. This is proven with these verses from the Bible:

1 Timothy 6:6-10 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

And

1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV – Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Stop fighting the case against you. Plead guilty.

Repent.

Transform your life.

Let us define the word repent from the Word of God.

Repent – G3340 – metanoeó – repent, change my mind, change the inner man (particularly with reference to acceptance of the will of God), to change one’s mind or purpose. To think differently or afterwards.

“Particularly with reference to the acceptance of the will of God.”

What is acceptance of the will of God?

John 14:15 NKJV – “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Therefore, just professing to be a follower of Jesus Christ is not enough. Jesus Himself made that clear in the verses where He was talking to the young rich man.

When you truly follow Jesus you must follow His command to live a needs-only lifestyle and use the majority of your earthly wealth to spread the word of God and to help those in need.

If all that truly professed to being a follower of Christ lived this simple command by Jesus Christ. There would be no homeless. No poor. No hungry.

This is the guilt that those that insist they can live their lives as they see fit and say they are followers of Christ must bear as they are vomited out of the Holy Body of Jesus Christ. Therefore they must embrace the Truth and accept their sin.

Time is running out. Earthly lives must change now. Not tomorrow. For any moment the first rapture will occur. Most will be left behind. Thinking and believing they are destine to heaven. However, they will find themselves left here on earth. Then they will be given two choices. Take the mark of the beast and live as they have lived to date. Or refuse the mark and be hunted, starved and then ultimately beheaded.

Martyrs that will be stored for a short time under the heavenly altar. However, this is only if they choose to truly follow Christ and live without material possessions.

Once again Repent!

Admit your guilt and confess then change your ways. For the glory of Christ.

God Bless

Matthew 6:24 NKJV – “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Luke 16:13 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

“Will hate the one and love the other.”

Hate – G3404 – miseó – to hate, detest, esteem less

Love – G25- agapaó – take pleasure in, long for, esteem

Money – mammon – G3126 – mamónas – riches, money, possessions, property, wealth, avarice.

Jesus asks us to make a choice. Yes or no. Black and white. Love and hate. Cold or hot. It very simple. So simple most overlook it. Ignore it. Refuse to make it. They say they can be called “Christian” and have their money, their riches, their possessions. God knew most would reject this command given by Jesus Christ Himself.

Yes, command. It was spoken clearly during the sermon on the mount. Yet most reject it. That is why the Glorified Christ gave it as what it is best to look at as signs that His return would be very near.

Most have chosen the way of the lukewarm. Thus, they have chosen to hate. To hate God, which is why they are vomited from the Body of Christ. Even though they with all their heart they believe and profess to being a follower of Christ. They live in and of the world. Therefore, their nom de plume has only one purpose to cause more to hate God and His Son our Savior Jesus Christ. It has been this way for centuries. It caused the Crusades; it even caused the Holocaust.

Why?

Because those that had professed they followed Christ and called themselves “Christian” would rather have gold, possessions, money over the glory of following God and spreading the Gospel and then living a needs-only lifestyle.

Now we must come to understand that what many call love is actually hate. And what is seen as hate is actually love. The most poignant example of this is found in one verse within the Bible.

Proverbs 13:24 NKJV – He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.

By showing too much love by not punishing someone when they have done something wrong is actually hatred of the person. The person showing this type of “love” are condemning those they profess to “loving” to eternal damnation. Thus, they show hatred for them.

Why? Because they have no concept of what is truly right and good and that is truly wrong and bad. This makes them choose for pleasures in the here and now instead of seeking after what is eternal and everlasting. This in turn causes people to seek after the temporary. The finite, the fleeting, the momentary, the now. This in turn equates to damnation not hope in eternal life.

For centuries most have been taught that materialistic reward was a sign of a blessing from God. This was due to the false teachings being given by the few to the common people. All in the interest of these few justifying their own lust for wealth and power. Simply their desire to live in sin.

This can be said because the Bible teaches not to seek after wealth by Jesus Christ Himself:

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

This is a very clear command from Jesus Christ Himself. This is supported by the Holy Spirit through Paul in the first letter to Timothy.

Again, a very clear message given by the Holy Spirit. We are to live a needs-only existence. Those that seek after money not only bring sorrow upon themselves, but they also leave their salvation behind all due to greediness. This again explains why the are vomited from the body of Christ.

So, what are people to do that have money? That answer is given a short time later in the first letter to Timothy.

Again, the Holy Spirit makes it clear that earthly wealth is to be used to spread the common good. Not to be horded for oneself. Therefore, for centuries people have been chasing a lie. Then who are they chasing if it is not Jesus Christ?

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Therefore, most that have lived and died have done so under a false teaching, a false doctrine. Consequently, they have passed from this temporal existence not going to heaven, but either to hell or just unto death. Not looking to the rapture of the dead as they assume they will partake, but to the judgement of the Great White Throne.

“The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.”

“each one according to his works.”

Not his wealth. Not his faith. But by how that person spreads the Word of God and how they lived through the commandments. This is emphasized three times in the Bible in three different gospels.

Luke 18:18-23 NKJV – Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.’ ” And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.” So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.

“But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.

This is how most that profess to being “Christian” now live their lives in sorrow. Why? Because they follow and know all the commandments. Yet they cling to their earthly riches. Their worldly possessions, wants and desires. For they are more important than following and serving God through Jesus Christ. They willingly choose to be the lukewarm, the damned. For they have chosen to be vomited from the body of Christ. All due to their earthly wealth and worldly possessions. For they love them more than God and His Son. Which means they have chosen to hate Jesus Christ. Bring the truth to this veres:

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

They hate God. They hate Him so much they parade about as if they are His followers, just so they can lead others away from True Life. True Salvation. They embrace and pass false teachings and doctrines on from one generation to the next. Just so those that follow them will end up as they are. To have to stand before the Great White Throne. Just as the Holy Spirit told Peter to teach about in his second letter in the second chapter.  For they have been and are false teachers. Lead most that profess to being “Christian” to damnation.

Repent. Downsize. Just as Jesus Christ Himself ordered.

Turn to true love in Jesus Christ and reject the world and all that it offers.

God Bless

Discussion

Many live with a misconception of how their relationship with God works. Most believe all they need do is profess they follow Christ. Then they go about their lives doing what pleases them and no others. The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write these words to Timothy, but God knew that in time, these words would be able to be seen by all.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV – But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

“Men will be lovers of themselves, lover of money, boasters, proud.” So forth and so on.

Through their love of money, they show through actions what it is they love most. How? By seeking after possessions. Large houses that have unused space. Some have multiple houses. Most have multiple vehicles. Expensive ones. They seek after personal pleasures. Be they sexual or activities like sports. They seek after position and status. The higher they are in social standing the greater they are and the richer they are. This is why the Holy Spirit inspired John to write this in one of His letters.

Those that love their possessions and seeking after them and more of them. The fancier the better. This is loving the world. This is seeking after what is highly esteemed by humanity.

Luke 16:13-15 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

By still seeking wealth and status within the world those that say they are “Christian” show all they truly have no love for God nor loyalty to Jesus Christ, but to one being. Themselves. They show who their adversary is. This was known to God who told the Holy Spirit to have James write this in his letter.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

They deny this. They say they follow Christ. They are disciples of Christ. They lie like this to the world and to themselves.

When those that bring the Truth to them do so. They become angry and they deride those that bring the Truth. Trying to make themselves feel important, when all they really do is show whom they really follow, and it is not Jesus Christ, but the spirit of the antichrist. They make themselves an abomination in the sight of God.

This is why it is so important that each person study, not just read, but study the Word of God. For when you study it you come to understand the Truth found within the Bible. You learn that salvation can be lost. You also learn important things like this about worldly possessions and wealth taught by Jesus Himself.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

The huge house and all that goes with it is where their hearts are found. Therefore, they are not following God. They are fighting against God and God’s plan for salvation for all humanity. They have chosen their fate, yet they think, they believe they are welcome before God. However, Jesus Christ said these Words about those that think this way?

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

“I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.”

By not downsizing the moment they accept Christ as their Savior, they begin the steps to leaning they will eventually loss said salvation. The Holy Spirit had Peter shed light upon this:

2 Peter 2:20-22 NKJV – For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A DOG RETURNS TO HIS OWN VOMIT,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

In three gospels a command is given to those that have earthly wealth, yet since it is not clearly spelled out, they deny its existence.

Mark 10:17-22 NKJV – Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.'” And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

This is reinforced in the first letter to Timothy:

1 Timothy 6:6-10 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

“For which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness.”

They have abandoned their salvation for a big house, money, vehicles and earthly pleasures as well as possessions. Thus, befriending the world. So, we once again say this verses from the book of James.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

If someone is an enemy of God, they are not His follower. Period.

The Glorified Jesus Christ talked about those that thought with this mentality. A mentality that signals His soon return.

Because they are God’s enemy Jesus vomits them form the Body of Christ. Thus, showing that they are not welcome in the kingdom of God. Why? Because they choose not to follow the teachings found within the Bible and so live lawless lives.

Time and again I return to these verses. Why? Because most refuse to accept these verses as being aimed at them.

They think this because they believe that since they have accepted Jesus as their Savior, they are special, exempt, favored by God.

Romans 2:11 NLT – For God does not show favoritism.

When people think they are exempt and favored they make God and His Son liars. The thing is there is only one being who is the father of lies.

John 8:44 NKJV – You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

This verse even though originally spoken to the Jewish people applies to any that say with their mouths that Jesus Christ is their Savior, yet they refuse to downsize. Defying the Word of God, which in reality is God Through Jesus Christ.

John 1:1 NKJV – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Repent. Repent now.

Discussion

One of the saddest things I have encountered is the blindness that I have faced time and again from those that believe they are one with God. That they are going to heaven.

These people call themselves “Christian.” They believe with all their heart they are disciples of the Son of God. They believe they can never lose their salvation.

By believing they are guaranteed a place in heaven. They are saying that they have a special place with God. They believe they have favor with God. The Bible says this.

Romans 2:1-11 NLT – You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

Two statements are made in these verses that the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write in this letter to the Romans.

The first:

“Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done.”

The second:

“For God does not show favoritism.”

This is aimed at those that follow the man-made and man-taught false doctrine of OSAS. Why is this?

By believing they are guaranteed a place in heaven they are saying they have favor by God. That they can live in their sins just because they profess to being a child of God. Yet I will point out once again an important sentence in these verses.

“He will judge everyone according to what they have done.” They will be judged by their works. Not their believe in God. But how they follow the teachings taught within the Word of God known as “works.”

Those that cling to OSAS get angry and protest vehemently when this is shown. They also call Jesus Christ Himself a liar.

Yes, you heard that correctly. They call the Bible, the Word of God. Direct quotes from Jesus Christ lies.

Now, think about that a second.

Ok. Let’s bring in the Word of God.

1 John 1:8-10 NKJV – If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Those that embrace the man-made doctrine of OSAS believe that because they have proclaimed Christ as their Savior. They are saying they are free of sin, which goes counter to the verses from the Bible that we just heard. Those that embrace the OSAS beleif are saying they have no sin. What does the verse say next?

They deceive themselves and the truth is not in the them. If the Truth is not in them, then they are listening to lies. That means they follow the father of all lies. Therefore, their god is not the Creator of the universe. Their savior is not Jesus Christ.

Luke 4:6-7 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

They are rewarded with money, with a large house or houses. They are given multiple cars. They horde all they earthly prizes for themselves.

Christ encountered someone like this. Let’s hear once again this encounter:

The young rich man is someone who believed that he had favor with God. The young rich was someone who believed he was OSAS. What did he do when Christ told him to sell everything and then spread the Word of God?

He walked away from his salvation and willingly entered into damnation. This is how most that now profess to being “Christian” now live. They refuse to get rid of their earthly wealth because they are favored by God.

This has been how most for literally centuries have been taught and believe. They are so blinded to the Truth that it is not God they worship but he who has been governance over the world.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Christ says to sell off your possessions and downsize. For what is of the world never comes from God.

1 John 2:15-16 NKJV – Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

Those that embrace and strongly cling to OSAS make themselves the enemy of God. For to embrace OSAS makes them adulterers.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

They are angry, they are upset at these words. The fact that they did this shows all they live of the flesh.

Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The Bible makes it very clear. Those that refuse to repent and insist that they are OSAS will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Time is nearly up. The call will be coming any time. Millions will vanish from the face of the earth. This will be the first rapture. Most if not all that have embraced the OSAS believe will find themselves left behind.

They will be left standing here on this planet to suffer trails and pains. Starvation and death. However, they must also spread the True Word of God.

Most have already shown where their allegiance lie. They wore masks and got shots in their arms. This means they will most likely choose the mark of the beast over starvation and beheadings.

For them to repent once the first rapture occurs they must go the way of starvation and beheadings. There is no middle ground. Christ made this very clear.

Revelation 3:15-21 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Those that insist upon embracing OSAS are amongst those that are the lukewarm. Christ made it clear that those that are OSAS that are the lukewarm are vomited out of the Body of Christ. They are not saved, they are damned.

REPENT!!

REPENT NOW!!

Discussion

The misconception of what has been defined as salvation has brought us to a point in this temporal existence to a nearly complete lack of people actually achieving true salvation.

Most believe they can just say they have chosen to follow Christ, yet they show very little change in how they behave and live their daily lives.

When it comes to salvation, repentance is required of the person receiving said salvation.

Repentance. What does that truly mean?

To repent involves turning from your sin. Basically, to do a one-eighty degree turn. It means you stop doing that sin. This is not what is being taught if taught at all though. Many go about living their lives doing as they wish. Usually contrary to the Bible, otherwise known as living in sin. Yet many go to church on Sunday and feel that their mere effort to show up at church is enough to redeem them in the eyes of God.

Well…….

Ummm…..

That ain’t how it works.

That is no repentance. To be blunt that is not even salvation.

To live a selfish life is totally opposite the teaching of the Bible. In true fact it is an abomination in the sight of God.

We are taught within the Bible to place God first and foremost and to do so every single day, not just Sunday.

Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV – Jesus said to him, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

We are told to be humble and not to try and show ourselves as better than anyone else.

Philippians 2:3 NKJV – Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

Yet Billions live lives of self-ambition and or conceit and millions of them call themselves “Christian,” again this is not repentance.

True repentance is a shattering of your very personality you have lived with before you asked Jesus into your life, yet many do exactly the same thing they did before they asked Him in. Some do change, but then something happens and they return to their old way of life. I know this for a fact because this happened to me, so don’t say that isn’t true when having lived it I know that it is true. On top of which the Bible says this:

2 Peter 2:20-22 NKJV – For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled inte them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

True repentance is painful, hard and something you beg and plead for God to take it from you. Gee, where have I seen that take place in the Bible? Oh, yea in an orchard just before the Pharisee’s men came to arrest Christ. Christ has been where you are, but He did not take the out He was given for His love of humankind and His selfless act was the greatest gift of all. What He accepted can easily be taken from you but can still be emotionally painful and agonizing. In some cases you will be asked to leave that which you love, a person, money, and a lifestyle. It will hurt and it will take time for this pain to pass but it is something that must be done. But remember you cannot do it alone nor can you. For Christ Himself will help you through it. Studying the Bible will help you through it. Talking with those that have been though it can help you through it and praying can help you through it.

True love hurts and only through a true love of God and Christ will you ever get to truly understand that pain and why it is needed.

It is due to this misunderstanding of salvation that many that profess with full believe that they are followers of Christ. Yet, they live and promote sin. They live as the world does and believe they are not required to change. Yet that is not what the Word of God teaches.

The Bible makes it clear we are to downsize. This is not a misconception this is a command from Jesus Christ:

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Those that keep their earthly riches do not show repentance. They continue to live as in the world, which marks them as friends of the world.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

If you truly seek salvation you MUST accept the discomfort that is required. This means downsizing and not seeking after earthly wealth and all that goes with that imagery.

1 John 2:15-17 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Time is quickly running out to show that you have truly accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior. Stop being like the lukewarm. For their fate is sealed in damnation.

Repent if you thought you had salvation. Then truly seek it by striving to live a sanctified life.

Discussion

One of the things that bewilders me is those that make excuses out of things said in the Bible. Excuses just so they can live their lives as they see fit to live it. Yet presume that they can live under the name “Christian” and expect to enter heaven. Not realizing this is the furthest thing from the Truth.

Allow me to explain.

More than once I have encountered those that say for example that due to the first verse of the book of James. This book has no factor in their lives. This rejection of sections of the Bible in essence turns their belief in Jesus Christ and that they are destined to eternal life a lie. Yes, you heard that correctly they believe a lie, so who do they worship and follow?

John 8:42-44 NKJV – Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Now right here they will say that they do believe so this does not pertain to them. They haven’t been paying attention, but then what do you expect from people that deny parts of the Word of God and even the things spoken by Jesus Christ Himself. This is why this is said in 1 Timothy:

1 Timothy 6:3-5 NKJV – If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

“If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness.”

Case in point:

John 15:1-6 NKJV – “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

This is Jesus Christ making an important statement about following Him and bearing fruit. It is also made very clear that since Jesus is the Vine none can be upon this vine unless they are born-again. Thus, in verse six when it says that a branch, therefore someone that was born-again is removed from the Holy Vine and is cast into the fire which is the lake of fire and eternal damnation.

Most reject this. Why? Because Jesus was specifically speaking to the apostles. It is now time to bring in some important verses:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV – All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

“ALL SCREPTURE!!” this is the entire Bible. Now once again someone will say no Paul was referring to the Old Testament. To be honest yes he was, when this letter to Timothy was just a letter, but now however, since it has been formed into the NT. It is now scripture as well, which was God’s intention from the beginning. Thus, the total phrasing:

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God.”

Every single word that is in both testaments was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Which means when someone makes excuses not to follow this teaching or that teaching in the Bible, they are rejecting God’s teachings to all humans. Consequently, they are denying their Savior.

Matthew 10:33 NKJV – But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Since Jesus has denied them to God their name is not written in the Book of Life.

So, to get back on full track.

Just because Jesus was originally speaking to the apostles, or James was speaking to the tribes of Israel. Does not mean any who desire to follow Christ can deny these verses. For once they do deny them, they deny their own entry into eternal service unto God. Why I say this is because of that mentality they can deny every single book in the Bible. Once this excuse leaves their lips, they have asked Christ to remove their names from the Book of Life, which is why He had John write this letter:

“I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.” This is a direct reference to any that reject any part of the Word of God and at the same time profess to being “Christian.”

Don’t deny this letter because it was to the church of Sardis. For again you deny that all scripture is for our development to becoming His true servants.

Any that say salvation cannot be lost have called Jesus the Son of God a liar for as was shown earlier in John 15 Jesus makes clear that someone that has received salvation can be removed from the Holy Vine who is the Christ.

These lies need to stop and people need to stop thinking they are special and exempt. Those that go to church once or twice a week and the rest of the time they live in the world and like the world. Jesus again asked John to write a letter to those that acted this way:

Revelation 3:15-21 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

To be vomited out of the Body of Christ means only one thing. The second death. An eternity in pain and anguish of their own making. This is what await those that make excuses not to follow the parts of the Bible. The part which convicts them and makes them awaken to the Truth that they have listened to lies and lived a life of lies. Doing exactly what Satan wishes them to do, which is why he rewards them with a huge house or houses and multiple vehicles and fancy clothes. Earthly rewards, which shows whom they truly worship and follow, and it is not the Son of God.

I know these truths are harsh. I know that most do not wish to hear that there is no truth to the teaching of OSAS. This hit home to me very recently. My ex-wife believed in OSAS in addition to practicing witchcraft. Yes, practicing witchcraft. This is where this belief can lead people. Well back on point. She never listened and caused herself to be sent to jail and got us evicted from our apartment. Well, that was years ago in my year of Job which is what led me back into the full service of my Savior Jesus Christ. I knew then that if I had not changed my ways, I would have lost my salvation. Well, this led to our divorce. She continued down her road. Leading further and further away from God. Well, she hit rock bottom. To once again get attention for herself because things were not going her way. She attempted suicide for the fourth time. This time though the aid she was counting on came too late, and this time she succeeded in killing herself. I know deep inside myself she awoke not in paradise but in hades. Destined for all eternity to know that what truth I had tried to help her realize was never acknowledged by her and now she is to suffer for billions upon billion upon billions of years. This hurt me deeply and in turn the gloves have come off in the way I word these podcasts. That pain of knowing that someone I cared for was not going to be received by Christ.

This is a pian I wish none to experience. However, most will reject what is said here today. This was made very clear by Jesus Himself.

Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV – “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

The difficulty of the narrow path is spelled out very clearly in three different gospels. However, most reject this as again not meant for them, which is the furthest thing from the Truth.

Yes, this is meant for everyone that choses Jesus Christ as their Savior. They must downsize. They must start to live a need-only lifestyle. Keeping most of their earthly wealth at hand to help those in dire straits. But since they cannot lose their salvation, they are exempt and special.

These words were spoken to the Roman Christians who believed they were exempt and special:

Romans 2:6-11 NLT – He will judge everyone according to what they have done.

“God does not show favoritism.”

Hell awaits any who think otherwise.

God Bless.

Discussion

Today we continue our examination of the blind. To begin this journey, we must look more into what the Bible says about those that display blindness.

1 John 2:7-17 NKJV – Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake. I write to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, Because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, Because you have known the Father. I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

“He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”

Let us examine what constitutes hating one’s brother:

Proverbs 6:16-19 NKJV – These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

  1. A proud look otherwise known as haughtiness. – Those that look down upon others. Who believes they are better than others. No matter their social standing, creed or race.
  2. A lying tongue. – Any who practices any type of deceit.
  3. Hands that shed innocent blood – Those that cause the death of any child, be they born or unborn. This includes those that condone and support this bloodshed.
  4. A heart that devises wicked plans – Those that cheat and steal anything from people’s property to their governments. Those that cause wars and sicknesses that are created in a lab. Or has secret plans for world domination or of controlling people they see as lesser than themselves.
  5. Feet that are swift in running to evil – Those that embrace what is un-natural and do so without question. Those that accept anything that goes against God, and they do so energetically and with enthusiasm.
  6. A false witness who tells lies – Any who falsely accuses other of sin or crime when that person has done no wrong.
  7. One who sows discord among brethren – Those that teach a false gospel that divides and causes friction within believers of the one True God.

All this is earmarks of blindness. This is shown not only within those that deny God but is also seen within those that profess to being followers of Christ. Yet the moment they do this they show all the world whom they truly worship and follow and it isn’t the Son of God.

When the Glorified Jesus Christ appeared to John on the isle of Patmos, He dictated seven letters. Designed to awaken the people that said they are His followers. However, they had lost their way for the most part, and He wanted to get their attention. As I have shown in the past and verified by scholars these letters are not just concurrent, but also chronological. The last letter for the most part representing those that now profess to being “Christian.” To being followers of the Son of God. However, that is not how they are portrayed in this letter. Nonetheless, this is a true image of most that do go by this moniker at this very moment.

Revelation 3:14-22 NKJV – “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Let me key in on the verses that proves that most that now call themselves “Christian” are the lukewarm:

“Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.”

Those that keep their big house or multiple homes and seek bigger and full of unneeded possessions. Those that drive around in expensive vehicles. Those that horde most of their wealth unto themselves. Showing the world that they are so-called “rich” and that they are “wealthy.” Since they are surrounded by more wants than needs, they deem that they are in need of nothing.

However, Christ made if very clear their true condition in the sight of not only Him but His Father our creator: God. That they are wretched, they are miserable. That they are naked and poor in heavenly rewards. All because they are blind to the Truth that is right before them in the Word of God.

They prove their blindness by saying this does not apply to them. They are exempt, they are special. Those commands made by Christ do not affect them. They can keep “their” wealth. They can keep their luxuries. Because they are chosen, they are special. In reality they are haughty for believing these lies. Proving they are blind.

The Bible says this about what we are to be content with:

1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

Therefore, any not content with this are blind to the Truth. However, God allows them a chance to fix their relationship with Him.

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.”

Be eager to fix your relationship to God through Jesus Christ and turn your life around. Downsize quickly. Sell off those idols to yourselves called possessions that are a want and not a need. Then do what else is said in the Bible.

This can only be accomplished by living off the least and keeping the most available for God’s use. For you are a steward of His property, which you have none of. Anything you have is due to God. Not yourself. That is why we live off the least and use the majority for God, which is good and true stewardship.

Yet, what I have just said will be scoffed at, laughed at, and ignored. All because this hasn’t been taught. This isn’t how those professing to be “Christian” have lived in the past. That is called living a tradition not living by the Word of God. Christ said this about that:

Matthew 15:1-9 NKJV – Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.” He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying, ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER’; and, ‘HE WHO CURSES FATHER OR MOTHER, LET HIM BE PUT TO DEATH.’ But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘THESE PEOPLE DRAW NEAR TO ME WITH THEIR MOUTH, AND HONOR ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME. AND IN VAIN THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.’ “

As I have shown in the verses I presented earlier. This is not the teachings of the Bible. This is not the teachings of Jesus Christ. His teachings are to live off the least and use most for the glory of God. As well spreading the Word of God to the World. Those teaching that we can keep our possessions are in fact teaching a false gospel. What does the Bible say about those that teach these types of traditions.

Galatians 1:6-10 NKJV – I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

Those that do not tell you to downsize once you accept Christ as your Savior teach a people pleasing message and so have made themselves cursed. How many have died throughout the centuries believing they were one with God through Jesus Christ. However, they lived for and kept most of their earthly wealth and possessions. Totally counter to the True Gospel. How many will awaken not in the sky above before Jesus Christ, but before the Great White Throne. Where these things will take place as foretold by Jesus Christ Himself:

Matthew 7:21-22 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Why they are the lawless is because the Bible says to live off the least. The Bible says to use any earthly wealth that goes beyond our needs is for God’s glory alone. For the spreading of His Word to the world. For caring for those in need. They are the lawless and the blind because they refuse to accept these Truths. They say this is not the truth, thus calling Jesus Christ a liar. Meaning they have denied Him to the world.

Matthew 10:33 NKJV – But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Thus, confirming their blindness. There is precious little time to zealously repent of your sins. You MUST act NOW! This moment, this hour, this day. For the next day, the next hour, the next moment may be too late. Downsize now.

God Bless

Discussion

I have been reluctant to accept the truth of what I now know I must accept as fact. In previous podcasts I have described who are the lukewarm. I have done studies on the behavior of those about you to show that we are nearing the return of our Savior Jesus Christ.

But what is this fact that I have been reluctant to accept. I will show it from the Bible.

In the letter that James wrote. His emphasis was on the behavior of and to the rich over those that truly needed to be looked after. Now I must say this once again. The letters that make up most of the New Testament is a manual on how we as Christians should seek to behave. Not only to God, but to all humanity be they a child of God or those that denied Him.

James 4:1-4 – What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you? 2 You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. 3 And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure. 4 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.

This letter is not talking to those that had not accepted Christ. It is to those that had become saved. That were filled with the Holy Spirit. Yet what is the questions that is asked in verses one and two of chapter four. They are behaving like they are of the world. Which is made clear in verse four, which we will visit again in the KJV:

James 4:4 – Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Yet they were saved. But James calls them the enemy of God. How can this be?

Because salvation can be lost as I have shown in other studies.

Someone argues: “They were never saved!”

Romans 10:9-10 – If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

That statement of protest is shown here to be a false teaching. For if someone says with all their heart and soul that they accept Jesus Christ as their Savior they are saved.

Then these people turned away from Christ. They abandoned their salvation. So those that teach once saved always saved is also teaching a false doctrine.

By teaching this falsehood they cause this to happen:

1 John 2:7-17 – Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment for you; rather it is an old one you have had from the very beginning. This old commandment—to love one another—is the same message you heard before. 8 Yet it is also new. Jesus lived the truth of this commandment, and you also are living it. For the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining. 9 If anyone claims, “I am living in the light,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is still living in darkness. 10 Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble. 11 But anyone who hates a fellow believer is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness. 12 I am writing to you who are God’s children because your sins have been forgiven through Jesus. 13 I am writing to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I am writing to you who are young in the faith because you have won your battle with the evil one. 14 I have written to you who are God’s children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in the faith because you are strong. God’s word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one. 15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Note how John frames this section of the letter He wrote. He says he is writing to the young and old in Christ. So, these are the saved, then he goes on to say this. I will use the KJV here:

1 John 2:15-17 – Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Now remember John was a disciple of Christ. One of the Twelve. He personally knew Jesus Christ and saw Him before and after the cross. As well as saw Jesus ascend into Heaven. And he is telling those that are saved not to love the world.

But if they are saved why worry about this?

Because John was there when Christ taught John 15:1-10 and John knew that salvation can be taken away by those that return to the world. Just as Peter knew this as well:

2 Peter 2:20-22 – And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. 21 It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. 22 They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.” And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”

Therefore, if two of the disciples verified what Jesus Christ Himself stated. Then salvation can be taken away and as Peter said it would have been better if they had never known the way of righteousness. Now understand it is not God rejecting people. God will never turn away any. God loves all of humanity. Even those that reject Him out right. It is the people loving the things of the world. Choosing the world over Christ. They themselves are ending their salvation.

This is the state of most within the Body of Christ at this time. They are the living example of the last letter of the seven churches in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 3:14-22 – “Write this letter to the angel of the church in Laodicea. This is the message from the one who is the Amen—the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation: 15 “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! 17 You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. 18 So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see. 19 I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. 20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. 21 Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. 22 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.”

“You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.”

Does this not go back to 1 John?

“Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.”

Yes, it does. And as was pointed out John was writing to those that were born again. To those that called themselves Christian.

We are not to seek after the things of the world. Yet millions that say they are “Christian” do just that. They are being a living example that the Bible is true and faithful. That Jesus Christ is soon to return.

The call is being shouted out. Christ is soon to return. Those that say they are Christian must abandon the things of the world. Be it houses, clothing, tattoos. Any luxuries or conveniences or comforts. We are not to store up money but to give most of it away. (2 Corinthians 9:6-15, Matthew 6:19-34)

However most that even hear this message will scoff at this and ignore these words. Because they are right with the Lord, in their own eyes.

But I have just shown they are not. I have just shown from John, from Peter they are not.

I will end today’s lesson with the rest of what John said in 1 John after his warning to not seek after those things of the world:

1 John 2:18-29 – Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared. From this we know that the last hour has come. 19 These people left our churches, but they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us. When they left, it proved that they did not belong with us. 20 But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth. 21 So I am writing to you not because you don’t know the truth but because you know the difference between truth and lies. 22 And who is a liar? Anyone who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist. 23 Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 24 So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. 25 And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us. 26 I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray. 27 But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. 28 And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame. 29 Since we know that Christ is righteous, we also know that all who do what is right are God’s children.

God Bless
