Discussion

In the last two podcast we have been talking about ruins. What are ruins?

There are many definitions that can apply to this subject. So, I will quote more than one:

“the broken parts that are left of a building or town that has been destroyed.”

“a situation in which a person or company has lost all their money or their reputation.”

“to spoil or destroy something completely.” These are all from the Cambridge Dictionary.

I list the last definition in this position on purpose, because I wish us to look at the word “spoil.”

“to destroy or reduce the pleasure, interest, or beauty of something.”

The “beauty of something.”

God see beauty in those that accept Him as their Savior through His Son Jesus. And He implores us to show that beauty in our hearts.

1 Peter 3:3-5 – Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. 4 You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. 5 This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They put their trust in God and accepted the authority of their husbands.

True this topic is about how a woman should think, but does this not apply to all that put on the robes of salvation?

As I was reading Hebrews the topic of accepting Jesus as the Messiah is the main topic. The audience this letter is aimed at are the Jewish people. Most of whom to this day reject Jesus as the true Son of God. I read a meme the other day on this as well, which I have mentioned before I believe. But it stated that the Jewish people accept the law but rejected Jesus. While Christians accept Jesus but reject the law.

Hebrews can now at this time be applied to those that call themselves Christian due to what this meme has implied.

But back on topic.

As I was reading Hebrews the topic of a building came out in the third chapter.

3:1-6 – And so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God and are partners with those called to heaven, think carefully about this Jesus whom we declare to be God’s messenger and High Priest. 2 For he was faithful to God, who appointed him, just as Moses served faithfully when he was entrusted with God’s entire house. 3 But Jesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a house deserves more praise than the house itself. 4 For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God. 5 Moses was certainly faithful in God’s house as a servant. His work was an illustration of the truths God would reveal later. 6 But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.

”And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.”

Why I repeated the last part of verse six, is because people have not kept their courage nor remained confident in their hope for Jesus Christ.

They instead place their hopes and confidence in material objects and money. Thus turning themselves into ruins.

What do I mean by that?

To do that we need to look at the KJV of this verse:

“But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.”

Hold fast – G2722 – to hold down (fast), in various applications (literally or figuratively)

The confidence – G3954 – all out spokenness, that is, frankness, bluntness, publicity; by implication assurance.

Of the hope – G1680 – to anticipate usually with pleasure

Firm – G949 – (through the idea of basality); stable

By holding onto the promise and the hope that Jesus Christ is real. We are to live our lives like Jesus Christ Himself. However, we can strive to live up to the ideals He Himself placed before us to follow. Yet, none can fully live like Christ.  Like for example in seeking after earthly good and objects.

Matthew 6:19-21 – “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

By seeking after worldly items and affections we are not staying firm. All fall short in this. None can seek exemption.

Why?

Because we live within a corrupt body. As you read through the last part of the New Testament. Words repeat themselves, like “self-control” as a prime example. Even those that have fully commit to Jesus Christ as their Savior. Even those that are filled with the Holy Ghost. All falter and fall short.

Does this mean to give up?

No!

That is the last thing a person must do. However, it is crucial that they strive to end all sin within their lives. Especially those that the Bible states will not be welcomed in the Kingdom of Heaven. Why cling on to the items that will easily burn in the last trial before God Himself.

We should seek after those building materials that will withstand that fiery trial. These items can only be found by living a live that is a true reflection of our Savior Jesus Christ. The closer we come to be like Jesus. The stronger and sturdier the building materials that forms the walls of our faith, which will withstand the trial.

The next verses in Matthew six Jesus makes it clear how we should try and live our lives.

Matthew 6:22-25 – “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is! 24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. 25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?

This is reemphasized in 1 John:

2:15-17 – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

When people seek after luxuries. Looks, wealth. That is what is being worshipped. Not God, nor His Son our Savior, Jesus Christ. Seeking after glory. Seeking after a legacy. Seeking to become part of history. Is worshipping the world.

This world. This earth will end.

Isaiah 65:17 – “Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore.”

Why waste our time trying to achieve things that serve this world? Living in comfort while others live in squaller. Dressing in fine clothing while a child freezes in the cold due to not having a coat. Seeking after a name; while a soldier that fought to protect you lives in a cardboard box. Then commits suicide thinking of all the horrors they committed or witnessed in war.

But I will not say anything further. It is up to those listen and reading to awaken to their own truths.

Hebrews 5:11-6:1 – There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. 12 You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. 13 For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. 14 Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.

6:1 So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.

That is the rub of it, isn’t it? People must be willing to open their hearts to the truth. But throughout the century’s humanity has been drifting further from God. Just as the Jewish people drifted so far from our Creator that He caused them to be scattered throughout the world.

Deuteronomy 28:63-64 “Just as the LORD has found great pleasure in causing you to prosper and multiply, the LORD will find pleasure in destroying you. You will be torn from the land you are about to enter and occupy. 64 For the LORD will scatter you among all the nations from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship foreign gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, gods made of wood and stone!

The promise to us is not to be scattered throughout the nations. The promise given to us is the end of this earth, and the beginning of that will be the tribulation. Which is meant to remove those that love the world more than they love their Creator. That time is near.

Discussion

Last week we discussed the ruins of buildings in both the past and the future. There are other ruins that exist in this world. Ruins that we see daily. Yet few if any truly acknowledge them or their existence. These ruins are those that once knew salvation and have strayed form the Word of God for their own versions of the Bible which makes them happy, but they do not consider God’s happiness. Which is that they live forever an eternal structure made by the hand of God Himself.

God wishes these ruins to be rebuilt. To be made whole once more. But they need a starting point from where to lay down the foundation. Yes, their foundation is Jesus Christ Himself. However, doesn’t He provide a starting point?

Jesus Himself identifies what He sees as the greatest of the commandments.

Matthew 22:34-40 – But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees with his reply, they met together to question him again. 35 One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

I want to look at the KJV of the second of these commandments:

“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

As – G5613 – hos – which how that is in that manner.

Leviticus 19:18 – Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

As thyself – H3644 – kemo – according to such as in comparison

The implication here is we are to view our neighbor in a way that would make them greater.

Philippians 2:3 – Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

When we think of what we want. That is what we should make possible for our neighbors. Does this mean surrendering all?

No.

However, you should judge your own lives against those that you should be helping.

Those that seek to be great should be a servant to the rest.

Matthew 20:25-28 – But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Jesus Christ is the greatest. Yet he made Himself not only our servant but our sacrifice.

That is why He said that if someone sacrifices themselves for another is something we should seek if that is what is required of us. (1 John 3:16)

So, to treat our neighbors as we wish to be treated, we must be humble.

This humility should also be reflected in how we our lives.

Once we have surplus that which is extra should be given away. To those in the body of Christ first.  Then to those in need outside of the body second. This is how someone rebuilds the ruins that most have made of their lives. Most without even being aware that they are ruins.

Another way of rebuilding the ruins of a life is by ending sin. Many live in and accept sins within their lives that they love and value more than God Himself.

Now here there will be those that scoff at this. Some may not even realize they are doing this. This is the greatest flaw in humanity itself. This is seen in the way the Bible is written. The letters that formed the New Testament were written to people that had become saved. That had become followers of Jesus Christ. That had turned their backs upon sin.

Yet as you read these letters a recurrent theme appears. To have self-control. To remain true to the laws of Moses. To be repentant. To end sin.

Were not these people, these letters were written for saved? Yes, they were. Then why were they still required to live with these demands upon their lives? Because they were as we are, in corruption. Our nature due to this corruption is to focus upon ourselves, not God. That is the entire problem. This is why we are to study upon the Bible and to learn how to change our lives. To attempt to the best of our ability to end sin within our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit. Especially those sins which will not allow us entry into our eternal service unto God. Through His Son our Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 2:15-19 – Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. 16 Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior. 17 This kind of talk spreads like cancer, as in the case of Hymenaeus and Philetus. 18 They have left the path of truth, claiming that the resurrection of the dead has already occurred; in this way, they have turned some people away from the faith. 19 But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The LORD knows those who are his,” and “All who belong to the LORD must turn away from evil.”

“Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive His approval.”

Isaiah 52:11 – Get out! Get out and leave your captivity, where everything you touch is unclean. Get out of there and purify yourselves, you who carry home the sacred objects of the LORD.

Ending sin in our lives and helping others is a job, which requires our diligent attention. For are we not “sacred objects” a temple unto God due to the Holy Spirit?

1 Corinthians 3:6-15 – I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. 7 It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. 9 For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building. 10 Because of God’s grace to me, I have laid the foundation like an expert builder. Now others are building on it. But whoever is building on this foundation must be very careful. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. 12 Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. 13 But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value. 14 If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward. 15 But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.

These verses shows that those teaching the scripture must teach them accurately. Or they will themselves will suffer if they have taught people inaccurately.

This shows that people can be taught a false gospel. Even by those that were once shown as true to God but have turned away from the true Gospel as witnessed in 2 Timothy 2:17 mentioned earlier. It also shows that those that do turn away will suffer the consequences for teaching lessons that are pleasing to the ears of the listeners and does not make them feel the need to end their sins. Thus, going back to the earlier point of placing others before ourselves.

When seeking to make sure that others are heading into a righteous life. Doing so in such a manner that it causes them to know the true way into salvation. Then how to grow as true followers of Jesus Christ. Those that do this are placing those seeking after God before themselves. Helping people to truly seek after an eternal life that is filled with more opportunities than people know or even realize.

But to get back on the main track.

Let us look more closely at 1 Corinthians 3:12 in the KJV:

“Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;”

We need to establish one key point. In the NLT the word “jewels” is used. In the KJV it is “precious stones.” This is actually in reference to marbles, alabasters, or granite. Not jewels but materials used in building extravagant structures.

Now when building the structures of our belief and faith in God. Not only do the teachers of the Bible have a part in the building. The people themselves have a part. When building upon the foundation that Jesus gave us when we accepted Him as our Savior. We all build each layer of our structure through what and how we learn about everything within the Christian belief and teachings. We all have all the layers mentioned in the verse from 1 Corinthians. Some have more than others of the various elements. Then when the time comes. That we must face the moment God passes judgment upon us through the fiery trail. How will the structure hold up and show where we stand in our salvation? Will it hold together enough to show that we have used our self-control and understanding of the Bible will enough to be seen as worthy to wear the white robes of salvation and righteousness?

That is up to every person to decide and contemplate for themselves.

Thus, the need for self-control and self-examination. But to do this we must know what it is we are to compare ourselves to. This is done through thoroughly studying the Bible and coming to understand the true and accurate teachings within it. This is done by learning the true meaning of words as they were written nearly two thousand years ago. Which can only be accomplished with study aids like that of Strong’s Concordance and the Theological Dictionaries of the Old and New Testaments. Note I do not mention commentaries, even though I have used some myself. Without true understanding how can anyone know for sure what it is that make the teachings of Jesus Christ what it is He wishes for us to know, learn and practice in our everyday lives.

It is by not following the true teaches of the Bible that there are human ruins throughout the world as these words are written down and recorded. They are ruins because they listen to that which makes wood, hay and stubble. All things that will burn away easily. Leaving a weak structure that will falter and fall in the fiery test promised to us at the time of our judgement. The only person that can fix these ruins are the people that have turned themselves into these ruins. By acknowledging they do not truly know the Bible on their own. Not taking the words of others, even myself, but taking responsibilities for their own lives. Then learning to become closer to Jesus Christ and thus closer to God.

God Bless

Discussion

I have a question for you the listener or reader of this study.

How many Roman Emperors were there and how many can you name?

Myself I can name about ten.

Yet there were over one hundred if you count them all before and after the empire split in two.

Now another question upon the same path.

How many Persian rulers have there been?

Over three hundred and fifty, and I can possibly name three.

What are the names of people not listed in the Bible before the flood?

I hope you are starting to realize where I am going with this.

The further we go back into history. The less we know about the people that lived in ancient history.

Additionally. The further we go back the more ruined buildings are.

I can say the same about the Aztec, Maya, and Pueblo of the Americas.

If you notice my intro and outro. Casting Crowns sings about whose name is important. The answer: “Only Jesus.”

Why is this?

Why is only the name Jesus important?

Or as someone listening or reading this may ask. Why is my name not important?

You hear and see, all the time, people trying to make a name for themselves. They strive to be remembered throughout what will become history. In sports, in acting, in politics, and even wars. Even in the culture we live in today people strive to make their names important.

I actually feel sorry for people that do this.

Why?

First and foremost. As the song says. Only one name is of any import. That being Jesus the Savior of all of humanity. If they so choose to accept Him as their Savior, their Messiah.

Secondly. Those that reject God will have no names except that which is seen as a curse to all. Those that accept the Christ will receive new names.

Isaiah 65:11-15 – “But because the rest of you have forsaken the LORD and have forgotten his Temple, and because you have prepared feasts to honor the god of Fate and have offered mixed wine to the god of Destiny, 12 now I will ‘destine’ you for the sword. All of you will bow down before the executioner. For when I called, you did not answer. When I spoke, you did not listen. You deliberately sinned—before my very eyes—and chose to do what you know I despise.” 13 Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “My servants will eat, but you will starve. My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. My servants will rejoice, but you will be sad and ashamed. 14 My servants will sing for joy, but you will cry in sorrow and despair. 15 Your name will be a curse word among my people, for the Sovereign LORD will destroy you and will call his true servants by another name.

Now as I mentioned before. The older some type of construct made by humans is found. It is broken, withered and decaying. In many cases people have no understanding of what the purpose of the buildings even were. Or even why they were built. God goes one step further in His plans for the buildings made by humanity, which in some cases reached high into the sky like the tower of Babel did. Showing the arrogance of humanity to say they are greater than He who made them. Again, we continue in Isaiah chapter 65:

17 – “Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore.

However, we can go even further in the book of Revelation:

21:1 – Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.

As you can see and hear not only will there be no ruins to show the egos of humanity. The very stars themselves will be different. No longer will people look up into the heavens to look for the formations that were given names and shapes by men. All remnants of humanities vain glories will be erased from existence.

So, why worry about creating a name for yourself? Why worry about gathering unto yourself that which will rot and decay? (Matthew 6:19-21) Which will ultimately no longer even exist at all.

These are concepts even those that profess to being “Christian,” have not thought about. Which is a sad statement. For if they had they would not be seeking to live in luxuries, but a simplistic lifestyle. All are guilty of this, even myself to some degree.

Seeking after the world has infected all. Both those that accept Christ and those that deny Him. They are asleep as Christ Himself said would occur. The call that the Groom is approaching has been shouted out. The awakening has begun. (Matthew 25:6)

As I said earlier there are now ruins about this world, and eventually they will be gone. In the meantime, there will be a time when new ruins come into existence. For this we will look at the eighteen chapter of Revelation. Before we look at these verses. Think upon the description of Babylon. I will also mention a natural earthly element that could be a factor in what will be encountered in this chapter, as we look at this chapter in nearly a verse-by-verse examination.

Note: not all verses will be included. However, I highly recommend reading the full chapter.

Revelation 18:2 – He gave a mighty shout: “Babylon is fallen—that great city is fallen! She has become a home for demons. She is a hideout for every foul spirit, a hideout for every foul vulture and every foul and dreadful animal.

This chapter is not to be confused with the previous chapter, which reflects the religious version of Babylon. This Babylon is more physical. Now the Babylon of chapter 17 did bring about this declaration form the angel that made his entry in verse one of this chapter.

This “Babylon” has fallen from greatness. So, at one point it was something that could be seen as an example unto to God and so should be called great. Now, however, it is great no more. Now, due to the influence of the Babylon of chapter 17. It is a place, where it is a home for demons and, by using the apostate religion of the previous chapter. Things that are foul and evil hide under the covers of holiness, where these evil things are protected.

Revelation 18:3 – For all the nations have fallen because of the wine of her passionate immorality. The kings of the world have committed adultery with her. Because of her desires for extravagant luxury, the merchants of the world have grown rich.”

This verse shows the spiritual aspect of this Babylon and how the entire world has been affected by it. That through seeking after worldly riches. All have become addicted to their new god. The world and what they see as its riches and comforts. Making money their god and rejecting the true God. Gathering unto themselves physical objects to worship. Cars, expensive homes, filled with luxuries and comforts that they see as greater than their Creator.

Revelation 18:4 – Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, “Come away from her, my people. Do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her.

Here we see two things. First this shows that the events of this chapter transpire when the Holy Spirit is still present upon the earth. Since there are still humans present that are called “my people.” The second is a warning. A warning not to allow luxuries and wealth to become a part of the Christian life. Those that call themselves “Christian,” and seek after wealth and luxury are not listening to this warning and are instead asking to be punished with the corrupted Babylon. The Christians are told outright to turn away from seeking after luxuries and comforts. For that is a part of the fallen Babylon. Apart of that which hides and protects evil, and those that partake of evil deeds.

At times, an entire country is represented as a being. Due to what is about to seen in the coming verses. This could be one of those times. The angel that is giving this message. Says that this Babylon has sinned greatly and thought itself great and in no need of a husband. That husband being God. The implication in verse five through seven show this haughtiness, arrogance and evil. The result is what is to follow:

Revelation 18:8-11 – Therefore, these plagues will overtake her in a single day—death and mourning and famine. She will be completely consumed by fire, for the Lord God who judges her is mighty.” 9 And the kings of the world who committed adultery with her and enjoyed her great luxury will mourn for her as they see the smoke rising from her charred remains. 10 They will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment. They will cry out, “How terrible, how terrible for you, O Babylon, you great city! In a single moment God’s judgment came on you.” 11 The merchants of the world will weep and mourn for her, for there is no one left to buy their goods.

As these words come out. There is a feeling that this is not just spiritual, but of something that is actually physical transpiring here. An event that will include fire and smoke. With the result of causing death, morning as well as famine.

Famine, why famine? Famine is the lack of food. Yet if this is just a city. Can it not just go out and bring some in. That is the catch. This event makes it so food can not even be grown, yet it happens in one day. We will go further into this later but keep this in mind in the meantime.

Also note that leaders who partook of her wealth will watch from a distance, and that the merchants will cry because their greatest source of income is gone to them. Again, we are looking to a focal point that has a physical aspect to it.

Revelation 18:17-18 – In a single moment all the wealth of the city is gone!” And all the captains of the merchant ships and their passengers and sailors and crews will stand at a distance. 18 They will cry out as they watch the smoke ascend, and they will say, “Where is there another city as great as this?”

Again, a physical aspect. It shows that it has access to the sea.

Revelation 18:21 – Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a huge millstone. He threw it into the ocean and shouted, “Just like this, the great city Babylon will be thrown down with violence and will never be found again.

Now, we will discuss something that is physical, and can give the results of the plagues promised to Babylon. In the northwest corner of the state of Wyoming sets a super volcano. Its name is Yellowstone. If it were to explode it would make an eruption of around 800,000 megatons. Which would kill everything within 650 miles. It would spue out deadly ash that would cover all the United States and parts of Canada. Killing millions more and making it impossible to grow crops of any type for decades, thus causing death, morning and famine in one moment and day. This would result in this as well:

Revelation 8:12 – Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and one-third of the sun was struck, and one-third of the moon, and one-third of the stars, and they became dark. And one-third of the day was dark, and also one-third of the night.

Thus, making new ruins of an entire nation made by humans and thought to be the greatest of all at this time in just one day. Ponder upon this and pray.

God Bless.

The warning of what to look for

Time and again within the Bible there is warnings. For even though the apostles did not know the day of the return of their mentor and leader Jesus Christ. Once they saw His resurrected form they knew without a doubt that He is the Son of God. They were so faithful to this belief, a belief that was not present upon the day Jesus died upon the cross and they hid themselves away out of fear for their own lives. This new faith was so strong because they saw Him appear before them whole and pure that they left their hiding and never returned to it. They knew He would return.
The Holy Spirit filled them and they went into the streets in joy and gladness because they knew Him to be real. They faced torture, pain, suffering and death. Those very things they feared before the third day they now gladly faced to their deaths. Only one died of old age. The rest were killed.
The last true apostle was Paul, once called Saul. He hated Christians and sought them out and killed them with joy and fervor. Paul the thirteen disciple of Jesus Christ did not change his way till the resurrected Christ stood before him. An event that blinded him, but he was healed. Not only in his eyes but in his spirit. A spirit that instilled within him the knowledge he used to teach of the ways of Christendom and of the return of Jesus Christ.
It was clear that Jesus Christ the risen Savior would return to the surface of this planet. When He does so though it will be a time that those that deny Him and His father will dread and curse. For when He does return their excuses and their placing of doubts into their fellow humans will be made clear for to all that their true desires was for only their lustful desires and not for the glorification of their Creator. All will know that all the marvels of creation are a gift given unto humanity that was abused by those that professed they were there for its protection when in reality they were there for themselves.
Yet that time has not come as of yet, but the signs are everywhere. There are those that mock Christianity and cry out “Where is your Savior?!” False teachers parade about in luxury saying they serve God when those with eyes see that all they serve is themselves. War and rumors of wars abound. Those that wish to control divide the people turning one group against the other all for the desire of pleasing only themselves and not those they pretend to care for.
So blind are those that say they are “Christian” that they willing follow this fad or that fad of words that is pleasing for them to hear. As their ears are tickled with what they wish to hear so they can avoid those words which they do not wish to hear. For if they truly listen to the words that they avoid they will be convicted within their hearts. Knowing with no doubt that they have turned their back upon their Savior and have rejected the love of Jesus Christ for the love and lusts of the world about them.
These are the warnings within the Bible. In no other time in history since Jesus left this planet has these predictions within the Bible been so many coming true at one time. So many are coming true that it rivals the predictions of the forty plus prophecies of what will mark who the Messiah is. The odds for all these prophecies to come true was 1 in 10 to the 156th power, yet come true they did. Yet at this very moment the predictions of what to watch for the soon return of Jesus begin to challenge these very odds yet they are coming true as we speak. However, people still laugh at God, His Son and His servants like myself. Scoffing at us as if we are crazy yet we are not.
It is time to face your Creator. It is time to leave your sins behind. It is time to repent. It is time to stop living in sin. It is time to stop seeking after the riches of this world and to seek the riches of the eternal life that is to follow this soon to end temporal world we now live within.
Do you not see that this world we live in is a poor reality? These large houses you store your worldly wealth within are nothing compared to that which is truly real. Do you not see the wonders within the universe? Do you not know that God created it ALL? These are a glimpse of the eternal rewards promised to all that accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. These are the wonders that await all those that repent and turn form their sin. But to truly turn for sin you must first acknowledge it is a sin. Then when you make this acceptance you must then turn away from it and strive never to do it again.
Do not embrace sin. Do not glorify sin and then on the other hand say you are a follower of Jesus Christ. For that is a lie and an insult to God. It is a slap in the face of your Creator. If you so desire to do this then you have made your choice, and it is a choice that will last you for all eternity.
