Discussion

Since before the great flood humanity has sought after the here, the now. Part of the here and now is the collection of objects and possessions to worship and admire. This is spelled out in the first chapter of Romans:

Romans 1:18-23 NKJV – For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Important phrases are within the verses. One of which is:

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.”

We will return to the other element later. Because this one needs to be expanded upon. God makes it know to every single human that is alive or has ever lived that He does exist. In many ways it is subtle. In others it is right in their face. However, God wants them to know he does exist. He wants them to make a choice between Him or a temporal existence. All about us is the subtle. Most reject the blatant, simply because it is in their face at that moment and they respond in a retaliatory manner instead of an accepting one. It is something I see nearly daily. God is trying to get people’s attention. Most reject His advances.

Why? Because they like how they have things.

Part of this response has been handed down from one generation to the next for centuries. They have been sold a bill of goods which says they can live their lives as they desire. That seeking after worldly property and possessions is the norm and what all should seek after. Especially if they profess to being Christan.

The thing is. These are all lies. Yes, you heard that correctly: lies. Only one being gives earthly rewards and he does this to reward those that follow his lies.

Luke 4:6 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Most do not acknowledge this verse for to do so would mean they follow lies as I have just established. Yet Jesus knew this and made it very clear in one of His talks to the people of the tribes of Israel.

John 8:42-44 NKJV – Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Now note how Jesus started this statement: “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God.”

How is it we are to show our love for Christ?

John 14:15 NKJV – “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

Therefore, following the commandments not removed by Christ going to the cross will continue as He made very clear:

Matthew 5:17-19 NKJV – “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Now I wish to go back to John chapter eight once again.

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.”

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.”

Now in the next sentence the desires of the devil are detailed. He is a murderer and does not stand in the truth.

What is the Truth within the Bible.

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

1 John 2:15-16 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

Most store treasures in this world which is not from the God our Father. However, most profess to being followers of God. Many through Jesus Christ. What does this turn them into?

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

This means they have not listened to the Truth and so they are the enemy of God no matter whom they profess to follow. Therefore, they are dead. Therefore, they have been murdered by father of all lies Satan. Who has rewarded those that follow him with earthly rewards. Masking their death not only to themselves, but the world as well. For they have chosen eternal death and damnation for a few temporal trinkets and bobbles. Like a fancy house or houses, fancy vehicles and earthly wealth. All of which was never given unto them by the Father as made clear in second John.

Let us move on to the next key element of the first chapter of Romans.

“Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Within this statement we see humanities choice to make for themselves a “god” in their own image. One which allows them to seek after and covet temporal wealth. This in turn leads them through entering into sin, of their own free-will. Choices which leads to the sins described in the next part of Romans chapter one.

Romans 1:24-32 NKJV – Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Many that profess to being “Christian” are confronted in chapter two of Romans, which again most do not want to hear or accept.

Romans 2:1-11 NLT – You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

Most Christians reject these words as not pertaining to them. But since most live in fancy houses and adornment it does make them qualify. But, by choice they reject it all for that would mean they would have to change their ways, which they refuse to do. Turning the Ture God into a god for their own making which is corrupt. A liar, who gleefully rewards them with earthly treasures which will rot away. Having no true value to anyone. Therefore, it leads them to damnation and eternal death and destruction.

But then that is their choice.

It is time.

It is time to shout the Truth, but most will reject it, just as Jesus Christ said it would be.

Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV – “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

What is truly sad is the “many” believe with all their hearts they are on the difficult way. But why is this?

Because they think they are hearing the Truth, when in fact they are listening to lies.

Case in point:

Galatians 1:6-7 NKJV – I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ

“To a different gospel, which is not another.”

Many don’t grasp what is being said here. So let us look at it from a different angle.

Matthew 24:4-5 NKJV – And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

They will use the Word of God and even confess that Jesus is the Christ, but they will leave out what is required to find eternal life. As a result, those that do this are cursed.

Galatians 1:8-9 NKJV – But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

But what is causing them to be cursed?

Galatians 1:10 NLT – Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

Those that are cursed are teaching a false gospel that is designed to make people feel pleased with how they now and how the wish to live. In luxuries and comforts here in this temporal existence, when Christ makes it clear that we are to store nothing here in this reality at all.

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

If their heart is here in the world, then they are not with God.

1 John 2:15-16 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

If they are of this world, then who do they truly worship?

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Now right now there will be those that are angry and fuming at what has just been stated here. All I can say is thank you for providing a living verification that what has just been said is coming from the Truth.

Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But, to get back on track.

Who is truly at fault for this?

2 Peter 2:1-3 NKJV – But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

So those that do this are cursed as well as the fact that they are destroyed quickly. Also note that they even deny the Lord who bought them.

Therefore, those that live in this manner were once upon the Vine who is Jesus Christ. However, they have now been swiftly removed from the Vine.

John 15:1-6 NKJV – “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Thus, those that teach false doctrine are cursed, quickly removed from the Vine of salvation, and are cast in the fires of damnation.

But why is this punishment so harsh?

Revelation 21:8 NKJV – But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

When we are born again it is then that we begin to seek to have eternal life. Yet if we do not accept the Truth and do not abide in Christ by seeking to become a reflection of Jesus Christ. We are removed from the Vine and suffer the second death.

If it is due to listening to those that teach a people pleasing message that includes words like “God,” “Jesus,” “love” and “salvation.” Then those that teach these lies are in fact murderers.

For what does Christ say in love?

Revelation 3:15-19 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore, be zealous and repent.”

To repent is to go the opposite direction of what someone was doing with remorse. Therefore, if someone sought after bigger, better, fancier. Then they are to go for smaller, lesser, and cheaper.

Yet those in places of power within the buildings called “churches” do not say or do this.

I once was at a men’s conference, and I was set with the associate pastor of the building called a “church” I was again trying to see if they are truly seeking after Christ. During the ensuing discussion I stated that it was wrong to seek after a huge house. I could visibly see the embracement on the young pastor face. He then confessed to just investing into a million-dollar home for purposes of entertaining. This and some haughty behavior by others at this conference was the straw that broke the camels back for this building and so I came to my final conclusion that the buildings called “churches” were nothing by dressed up social clubs. And those that ran them did not seek to help people find enteral life, but eternal death.

Thus, labeling those that stand upon the dais or behind the pulpit murderers if they teach only to please those that listen to their words. Accordingly, explaining why they are cursed and so quickly censured by God. The richer they are. The more of the world they themselves worship and the more destruction they have heaped upon their souls for all eternity.

It is time to leave the buildings called “churches” that do not call a sin a sin and teach of repentance and rejection of the world and all it offers.

For we are to be “zealous.” What does this mean?

zealous – G2206 – zéloó – affect, covet (earnestly), (have) desire, I am eager for, am eager to possess.

Especially now there is a need to be zealous for what is promised by God through the teachings of Jesus Christ. We should be earnestly seeking to become a true reflection of Christ by living a simple life. Fervently seeking to follow all the laws as commanded by Christ Himself who came not to destroy but fulfill them.

John 14:15 NKJV – “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

We are told not to listen to people pleasing messages. We are also told that if we encounter it, we are to leave those that not only listen to it but teach it.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 NKJV – If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

Leave now and seek the Lord your God through learning fully the Bible and be obedient to His Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Two police are dead because people do not read the Bible.

Why do I say this? This is why:

Titus 3: 1, Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 2, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. 3, For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4, But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6, Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7, That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
If these so called protesters had read the Bible then there would be two police officers alive today that were truly MURDERERED.
If people would not listen to hatemongers and racist like Al Sharpton then there would be two families spending Christmas with these two police officers.
I hope those that protested are proud of what they have done. Their actions led to these murders, these TRUE murders. This is the true sins, this is the true crime.
Anyone who say otherwise, even to the man in the white house is lying to you. Remember, he is the one that said if you want to keep your doctor you would be able too. He has proven himself to be a liar.
Proverbs 12: 22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Respect the dream of Martin Luther King Jr. End the hatred and heal the wounds cause by those that wish to divide and destroy this nation. The liberals have shown their true nature and it is opposite that of God. Never vote for a liberal ever again for they are an abomination to the Lord.
