It just amazes me how people show where they stand in their belief in God and His Son Jesus Christ.
The other day in “The Christian Post” on Facebook a person posted an article called: “Pro-Life Evangelicals Better Off With Hillary Clinton, Christian Writer Rachel Held Evans Says”
In the comments I stated as follows:
“Couldn’t get past the first line. Democrats DENY God per their own website. That alone and no other reason says that if ANY that calls themselves ‘Christian’ vote for ANY Democrat or call themselves “Democrat” DENY GOD THEMSELVES. Those that deny Christ He will deny to His Father.”
The response for the most part were telling. I have established through the Bible why I have this stance. If you wish to know it go here: Stop falling for the propaganda (Biblical grounds for not voting Democrat)
Now I will say that I do not know who the respondents are so I am merely reacting to how they themselves posted their responses. The negative views were as you would expect. Democrats do believe in God, I am a nut, and sarcasm, or made assumptions of how I think of belief.
What I saw was the typical responses of those that have not thought for themselves, have not studied the Word of God.
Now why do I say this?
One of the main keys to salvation is in the belief of God and so in turn His Son our Savior. Time and again there has been reverences since 2012 where speeches that include the word “God” have been changed to omit “God” when people of the Democrats party speak.
This leads into the one statement made by a person that responded to my post that this nation is a “secular” nation. This is the tripe that has been drilled into our children and those on the left for over fifty years now. If they truly sought out the writings of the founding fathers of this nation they would find time and again that this nation was formed as a Christian nation for the ability to worship or even to deny God. The founding fathers knew there were those even in their times that questioned the existence of God.
Yet due to the incorrect interpretation of the First Amendment. It has been drilled into their heads that government and God must be separate. This is an outright lie. All it states is that the government itself cannot make a state run religion, and then goes on to state that the government cannot interfere with each person’s choice in how they choose to worship or not worship God. This means that believers in Christ can be involved and influence the government and in fact is encouraged by the founding fathers to do that exact thing.
What is more important is that the Bible itself says we are to be involved, to be more specific Jesus Himself says to be.
Mark 10:42 So Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. 43 But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Why mention leaders of the world? For Christ knew that Christian’s would seek to have not just leaders of their churches but of their nations. So He tells them that when seeking a leader that they “must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else.”
Most have not been taught correctly how to interpret this because they did not read the Bible for themselves. Taking the insight of others over their own intelligence. If Christ did not mean it to be for ANY leadership rolls why even bother to mention world leaders? That is because it was meant for ALL LEADERSHIP ROLLS. Even if that nation is “secular” we as Christian are in contract with God through the blood of His Son to seek out ONLY those that are servant leaders.
One of the core teachings of “Christianity” is humility. To place all others before yourself, this is reinforced here by Christ for those that wish to lead the people. Since He mentions Himself He is inferring that they must be Christ-like, as best they can.
This means that when someone states they are a servant leader a key element is that they be Christian. I don’t mean say they are “Christian” that as is now evident just saying the word “Christian” does not make you one. A true servant leader is seen in how all true Christians are seen as described in the Bible:
James 2: 14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? 15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? 17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. 18 Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” 19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. 20 How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? 21 Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. 23 And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. 24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. 25 Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. 26 Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.
You can see their works and know where they stand.
If they lie
If they support sin
If they deny God
If they seek after the world
Then they are not Christian even if they say they are. They may say they have the faith, but their works show them to be dead unto God. So they should never get our support or our endorsement.
These are the concepts that should be taught when you become a follower of Jesus Christ. There is more to salvation then just saying the words for just saying the words is an act of faith. It is as mentioned above, faith and works together. The works is learning the Bible and coming to understand on your own the full mantle of the armor of God. Too many go about naked and think they are clothed.
Any that support an organization like the Democratic Party do not truly know the Bible and what it entails to be a follower of Jesus Christ. For if they did it would sicken them to know that they denied that which they thought they had found. To know that it is due to their votes that nearly 60 million babies never came to live a life like they have had the privilege to do. To know that they have been turned into liars by those that lie and those condemning them to a fate that none should partake of and one they themselves thought they had avoided.
Revelation 21:8 “But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
