Discussion

One of the saddest things I have encountered is the blindness that I have faced time and again from those that believe they are one with God. That they are going to heaven.

These people call themselves “Christian.” They believe with all their heart they are disciples of the Son of God. They believe they can never lose their salvation.

By believing they are guaranteed a place in heaven. They are saying that they have a special place with God. They believe they have favor with God. The Bible says this.

Romans 2:1-11 NLT – You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

Two statements are made in these verses that the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write in this letter to the Romans.

The first:

“Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done.”

The second:

“For God does not show favoritism.”

This is aimed at those that follow the man-made and man-taught false doctrine of OSAS. Why is this?

By believing they are guaranteed a place in heaven they are saying they have favor by God. That they can live in their sins just because they profess to being a child of God. Yet I will point out once again an important sentence in these verses.

“He will judge everyone according to what they have done.” They will be judged by their works. Not their believe in God. But how they follow the teachings taught within the Word of God known as “works.”

Those that cling to OSAS get angry and protest vehemently when this is shown. They also call Jesus Christ Himself a liar.

Yes, you heard that correctly. They call the Bible, the Word of God. Direct quotes from Jesus Christ lies.

Now, think about that a second.

Ok. Let’s bring in the Word of God.

1 John 1:8-10 NKJV – If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Those that embrace the man-made doctrine of OSAS believe that because they have proclaimed Christ as their Savior. They are saying they are free of sin, which goes counter to the verses from the Bible that we just heard. Those that embrace the OSAS beleif are saying they have no sin. What does the verse say next?

They deceive themselves and the truth is not in the them. If the Truth is not in them, then they are listening to lies. That means they follow the father of all lies. Therefore, their god is not the Creator of the universe. Their savior is not Jesus Christ.

Luke 4:6-7 NKJV – And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

They are rewarded with money, with a large house or houses. They are given multiple cars. They horde all they earthly prizes for themselves.

Christ encountered someone like this. Let’s hear once again this encounter:

Mark 10:17-22 NKJV – Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.'” And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

The young rich man is someone who believed that he had favor with God. The young rich was someone who believed he was OSAS. What did he do when Christ told him to sell everything and then spread the Word of God?

He walked away from his salvation and willingly entered into damnation. This is how most that now profess to being “Christian” now live. They refuse to get rid of their earthly wealth because they are favored by God.

This has been how most for literally centuries have been taught and believe. They are so blinded to the Truth that it is not God they worship but he who has been governance over the world.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Christ says to sell off your possessions and downsize. For what is of the world never comes from God.

1 John 2:15-16 NKJV – Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

Those that embrace and strongly cling to OSAS make themselves the enemy of God. For to embrace OSAS makes them adulterers.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

They are angry, they are upset at these words. The fact that they did this shows all they live of the flesh.

Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The Bible makes it very clear. Those that refuse to repent and insist that they are OSAS will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Time is nearly up. The call will be coming any time. Millions will vanish from the face of the earth. This will be the first rapture. Most if not all that have embraced the OSAS believe will find themselves left behind.

They will be left standing here on this planet to suffer trails and pains. Starvation and death. However, they must also spread the True Word of God.

Most have already shown where their allegiance lie. They wore masks and got shots in their arms. This means they will most likely choose the mark of the beast over starvation and beheadings.

For them to repent once the first rapture occurs they must go the way of starvation and beheadings. There is no middle ground. Christ made this very clear.

Revelation 3:15-21 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Those that insist upon embracing OSAS are amongst those that are the lukewarm. Christ made it clear that those that are OSAS that are the lukewarm are vomited out of the Body of Christ. They are not saved, they are damned.

REPENT!!

REPENT NOW!!

Discussion

Today we continue our examination of the blind. To begin this journey, we must look more into what the Bible says about those that display blindness.

1 John 2:7-17 NKJV – Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake. I write to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, Because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, Because you have known the Father. I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

“He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”

Let us examine what constitutes hating one’s brother:

Proverbs 6:16-19 NKJV – These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

  1. A proud look otherwise known as haughtiness. – Those that look down upon others. Who believes they are better than others. No matter their social standing, creed or race.
  2. A lying tongue. – Any who practices any type of deceit.
  3. Hands that shed innocent blood – Those that cause the death of any child, be they born or unborn. This includes those that condone and support this bloodshed.
  4. A heart that devises wicked plans – Those that cheat and steal anything from people’s property to their governments. Those that cause wars and sicknesses that are created in a lab. Or has secret plans for world domination or of controlling people they see as lesser than themselves.
  5. Feet that are swift in running to evil – Those that embrace what is un-natural and do so without question. Those that accept anything that goes against God, and they do so energetically and with enthusiasm.
  6. A false witness who tells lies – Any who falsely accuses other of sin or crime when that person has done no wrong.
  7. One who sows discord among brethren – Those that teach a false gospel that divides and causes friction within believers of the one True God.

All this is earmarks of blindness. This is shown not only within those that deny God but is also seen within those that profess to being followers of Christ. Yet the moment they do this they show all the world whom they truly worship and follow and it isn’t the Son of God.

When the Glorified Jesus Christ appeared to John on the isle of Patmos, He dictated seven letters. Designed to awaken the people that said they are His followers. However, they had lost their way for the most part, and He wanted to get their attention. As I have shown in the past and verified by scholars these letters are not just concurrent, but also chronological. The last letter for the most part representing those that now profess to being “Christian.” To being followers of the Son of God. However, that is not how they are portrayed in this letter. Nonetheless, this is a true image of most that do go by this moniker at this very moment.

Revelation 3:14-22 NKJV – “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Let me key in on the verses that proves that most that now call themselves “Christian” are the lukewarm:

“Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.”

Those that keep their big house or multiple homes and seek bigger and full of unneeded possessions. Those that drive around in expensive vehicles. Those that horde most of their wealth unto themselves. Showing the world that they are so-called “rich” and that they are “wealthy.” Since they are surrounded by more wants than needs, they deem that they are in need of nothing.

However, Christ made if very clear their true condition in the sight of not only Him but His Father our creator: God. That they are wretched, they are miserable. That they are naked and poor in heavenly rewards. All because they are blind to the Truth that is right before them in the Word of God.

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

They prove their blindness by saying this does not apply to them. They are exempt, they are special. Those commands made by Christ do not affect them. They can keep “their” wealth. They can keep their luxuries. Because they are chosen, they are special. In reality they are haughty for believing these lies. Proving they are blind.

The Bible says this about what we are to be content with:

1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

Therefore, any not content with this are blind to the Truth. However, God allows them a chance to fix their relationship with Him.

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.”

Be eager to fix your relationship to God through Jesus Christ and turn your life around. Downsize quickly. Sell off those idols to yourselves called possessions that are a want and not a need. Then do what else is said in the Bible.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV – Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

This can only be accomplished by living off the least and keeping the most available for God’s use. For you are a steward of His property, which you have none of. Anything you have is due to God. Not yourself. That is why we live off the least and use the majority for God, which is good and true stewardship.

Yet, what I have just said will be scoffed at, laughed at, and ignored. All because this hasn’t been taught. This isn’t how those professing to be “Christian” have lived in the past. That is called living a tradition not living by the Word of God. Christ said this about that:

Matthew 15:1-9 NKJV – Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.” He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying, ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER’; and, ‘HE WHO CURSES FATHER OR MOTHER, LET HIM BE PUT TO DEATH.’ But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘THESE PEOPLE DRAW NEAR TO ME WITH THEIR MOUTH, AND HONOR ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME. AND IN VAIN THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.’ “

As I have shown in the verses I presented earlier. This is not the teachings of the Bible. This is not the teachings of Jesus Christ. His teachings are to live off the least and use most for the glory of God. As well spreading the Word of God to the World. Those teaching that we can keep our possessions are in fact teaching a false gospel. What does the Bible say about those that teach these types of traditions.

Galatians 1:6-10 NKJV – I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

Those that do not tell you to downsize once you accept Christ as your Savior teach a people pleasing message and so have made themselves cursed. How many have died throughout the centuries believing they were one with God through Jesus Christ. However, they lived for and kept most of their earthly wealth and possessions. Totally counter to the True Gospel. How many will awaken not in the sky above before Jesus Christ, but before the Great White Throne. Where these things will take place as foretold by Jesus Christ Himself:

Matthew 7:21-22 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Why they are the lawless is because the Bible says to live off the least. The Bible says to use any earthly wealth that goes beyond our needs is for God’s glory alone. For the spreading of His Word to the world. For caring for those in need. They are the lawless and the blind because they refuse to accept these Truths. They say this is not the truth, thus calling Jesus Christ a liar. Meaning they have denied Him to the world.

Matthew 10:33 NKJV – But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Thus, confirming their blindness. There is precious little time to zealously repent of your sins. You MUST act NOW! This moment, this hour, this day. For the next day, the next hour, the next moment may be too late. Downsize now.

God Bless

Discussion

A few weeks back I did a teaching upon what is called “traditions.” How many in today’s world follow traditions believing they are following God. Christ said:

Matthew 15:1-20 NKJV – Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? AND IN VAIN THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.’ ” When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” Then His disciples came and said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.” Then Peter answered and said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.” So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

In today’s study we will focus upon these verses:

“Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”

Those that have embraced traditions instead of the True Word of God are two things. One, they are plants not planted by God. Two, they are also blind.

We glean something very important from these two key elements. That most that profess to being “Christian” were never truly born again. This allows these verses to become clear in their true meaning:

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Case in point:

A person posted “If we want to rise up from the ashes of defeat, we MUST follows God’s plan!”

I commented that means we must downsize and showed this verse:

Mark 10:21 NKJV – Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

The person replied to my comment with this:

“So, you believe that God’s plan is for all believes to sell everything they have and give to the poor?

I answered with these verses:

1 Timothy 6:6-10 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1 John 3:17 NKJV – But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

1 John 2:15-17 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Luke 16:13-15 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

This is God’s plan.

I explained the import of being called an “abomination.” That is a kin to being called the antichrist and those that follow that being.

Then, I said:

“So, you tell me…. Does God plan for believers to sell everything?”

He replied:

“No. God intends for us to be good stewards of everything He has provided. This includes giving to the poor, offerings, etc. But also includes taking care of my disabled wife with a roof over her head.”

Only the last statement showed true stewardship. That is a need. That is required. For God promises to meet our needs. This is shown in how we are to pray to God.

Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV – In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those that trespass against us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

“Give us this day our daily bread.”

This is affirmed in 1 Timothy 6 which I will restate:

1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

Yet this person showed where they stood in their faith, in their belief. It was in this world and in its worldly wealth. They showed their adultery to God, which showed who their friend truly was:

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Yet they are blind to these words. They can’t see them for what they truly are. This is how it is for most, for they didn’t receive their salvation form Jesus Christ, but from a pastor, a priest, a minister. The blind leading the blind. We are to leave them to their own fate. For Christ said so:

Matthew 15:14 NKJV – Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”

“Let them alone.”

This is not the only time we are told something along these lines:

1 Timothy 6:3-5 NKJV – If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

“From such withdraw yourself.”

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV – But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

“Having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

Most that profess to being followers of Christ deny His Words. They argue what is plainly stated by their Savior. They quibble over the meaning of scripture. Just so they can have it their way, for their wants and desires.

Blindly going through life believing they are one with Christ when this is the furthest thing from the Truth.

The blind leading the blind into a ditch. A hole that is as black as their blindness. This is why Christ says this:

Matthew 6:19-24 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

“”The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

This is how many perceive what they have been told. It is darkness, blindness. They see light, but all about them is true darkness. They don’t see that it is truly darkness all about them. What they hear from the dais is darkness made to look like light. What they think is greatness is blackness, is sorrow. For they have accepted the lie over the Truth.

They cannot discern the Truth of God’s Word for they have scales upon their eyes.

Acts 9:10-18 NKJV – Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.” Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.” And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.

Repent. Repent now. Downsize now. Keep only what is required. What is needed to live to the next day. Don’t make excuses to try to twist the Word of God. For Christ is soon to return and if you desire to miss what will follow His return follow truly follow All the teachings and commandments within the Bible.

Discussion

Earlier as of the day I write this I had posted a part of the book of Jude. The last book of the letters that form the majority of the New Testament, just before the book of Revelation. It was on a forum that is dedicated to those that profess to be followers of Jesus Christ. I learned two things about the Body of Christ where I posted these verses. First, there are those that have not studied or even read the Bible. This of the two things is not even the worst of the things I learned. But the mere fact that these people profess to being “Christian” when they do not even know who the Word of God is, by the Word of God is saddening.

What was the worst. Was a lady’s sarcastic reply to these verses. It didn’t even occur to her that in essence she was scoffing at God. What is even more astonishing was what the verses were talking about. So that you the listener or reader will understand I will post these verses.

Jude 1:5-16 – So I want to remind you, though you already know these things, that Jesus first rescued the nation of Israel from Egypt, but later he destroyed those who did not remain faithful. 6 And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them securely chained in prisons of darkness, waiting for the great day of judgment. 7 And don’t forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God’s judgment. 8 In the same way, these people—who claim authority from their dreams—live immoral lives, defy authority, and scoff at supernatural beings. 9 But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said, “The Lord rebuke you!” (This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.) 10 But these people scoff at things they do not understand. Like unthinking animals, they do whatever their instincts tell them, and so they bring about their own destruction. 11 What sorrow awaits them! For they follow in the footsteps of Cain, who killed his brother. Like Balaam, they deceive people for money. And like Korah, they perish in their rebellion. 12 When these people eat with you in your fellowship meals commemorating the Lord’s love, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you. They are like shameless shepherds who care only for themselves. They are like clouds blowing over the land without giving any rain. They are like trees in autumn that are doubly dead, for they bear no fruit and have been pulled up by the roots. 13 They are like wild waves of the sea, churning up the foam of their shameful deeds. They are like wandering stars, doomed forever to blackest darkness. 14 Enoch, who lived in the seventh generation after Adam, prophesied about these people. He said, “Listen! The Lord is coming with countless thousands of his holy ones 15 to execute judgment on the people of the world. He will convict every person of all the ungodly things they have done and for all the insults that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” 16 These people are grumblers and complainers, living only to satisfy their desires. They brag loudly about themselves, and they flatter others to get what they want.

Verse 10 once again:

Jude 1:10 – But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jude is talking about those that come within the community of those that profess to be “Christian.”

These people put on a show that they are followers of Christ. However, their actions and behavior betray them for what they really are.

Jude explains their destination in verse 11:

“What sorrow awaits them! For they follow in the footsteps of Cain, who killed his brother. Like Balaam, they deceive people for money. And like Korah, they perish in their rebellion.”

What is truly sad is that many that are like this are blind to the truth.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 – If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. 4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

But they are within the Body how can they be perishing? Someone just insisted.

John 15:1-6 – “I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. 3 You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. 5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.

Verse 6 in the KJV:

John 15:6 – If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

There is only one fire Jesus Christ ever talks about. It is the fires of Hell.

Those that argue and scoff at the very Word of God. Ridicule God Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. Does this bear fruit upon the vine who is Christ Jesus?

The answer is no.

Can they fix this?

That is between them and Jesus. That is not our domain. Those that are of the Body in fact are told to do this:

2 Timothy 3:5 – They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

Titus 3:9-11 – Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual pedigrees or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time. 10 If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. 11 For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them.

“If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them.”

Why?

“For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them.”

This is one of the greatest failings within the Body of Christ. The lack of will to cast out those that insist upon living in sin.

We are given an out. We are told to warn them. This is their chance to fix themselves with God. However, if they fail to do so. For the sake of those within the Body that are new or weak we are to cast those that cause these divisions out. Not for their sake, but the sake of those that are not yet strong in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ with the help of the Holy Ghost.

It is due to the fact that this practice is not being followed that we within the Body of Christ find ourselves standing upon the precipice, which is the age of the lukewarm. The abyss stands before us for we must chose to end that which is against the teachings within the Bible from the Body of Christ for His return is near.

One thing I like to say often. Is never to take the word of myself or anyone else when it come to the Word of God. I always insist that people study in-depth the Bible for themselves.

Another instance occurred in a public forum.  Someone ask for my credentials as to my ability to teach the Word of God. Does this not tie in with the verses from Titus?

For the challenge was due to the fact that we are not to seek after worldly rewards aka wealth here on earth.

The person was challenging my competence to state we are not to seek after the world. The thing is I have only shown and taught what is in the Bible. In many cases the teachings of Jesus Christ Himself.

An example:

Matthew 6:19-24 – “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. 22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is! 24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.

And a teaching from John. One of the twelve disciples:

1 John 2:15-16 – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

These are not my teachings. These are the Word of God. Yet people insist upon attacking these teaching.

Along this line of though. Two other incidents happened as well where people, when you think about it, weren’t attacking me directly, but in how the Word of God itself is perceived. How the words within the Bible itself are to be interrupted their way and not the literal way they are written down.

Why they did this is from my perspective is so they can accept that they are living in sin and expect to be received with open arms by Jesus Christ when they pass on. Or when the trumpet blast comes, they feel they will be welcomed in the sky above and gathered into the wedding feast.

They are picking out things like God’s eternal love of all of humanity. That His love will never fail or abandon us. Which is truth. What they don’t wish to accept is that His love is for ALL of humanity. Even those that deny Him. The Bible makes this very clear and none who truly know the Bible will never deny this.

You cannot pick the parts you like from the Word of God and deny those parts which cause you discomfort. Which is why Paul said this in Galatians:

Galatians 1:10 – Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

In the KJV:

Galatians 1:10 – For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Making people feel good aka pleasing people. Is not teaching them that the letters between Acts and the Revelation were written for people that Paul himself in most cases had baptized after he knew they had been filled with the Holy Ghost. Paul kicked people from the Body of Christ because they changed the true Word of God to a message that would please others and inturn give those teaching these lies worldly wealth, which as was shown earlier should never be sough after if you are truly following the Bible.

Paul, John and Peter, and the writers of the book of Hebrews, as well as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ makes it very clear that even though someone has received the Holy Spirit and been baptized they, through their own free-will, can choose to turn their backs upon the Truth and return to sin.

Hebrews 6:4-6 – For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. (NKJV)

Yet for me saying these things. They attack and argue with me. Many times, in a high-minded attitude as they know better then I do. I know nothing. I merely read the Word of God and show what is within it. Yet I am the one attacked. When people do this. Even those that say they are “Christian.” All I can do or say is this:

Matthew 5:10-12 – God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. 11 “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. 12 Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

For I know I am teaching the truth when these things transpire, and I feel blessed to be a servant of God through Jesus Christ my Savior.

God Bless

The sign of a tyrant

This is one of those things that always bothers me, as I watch movies, TV shows, video game, or read novels. I was watching one the other day, which I don’t even remember now, but it brought me back to this point, which is the title of this article.
What is it that shows a leader to be a tyrant?
What I was watching stated it was someone that placed their wishes and desires above the people. This was the sign of a tyrant. What really got to me, was the fact that there are people out there that think their actions and behavior are for the good of the people. That they are placing the people first, and they, with all their hearts, are acting for the common good of all. Yet in reality, they are not. They are so blind to the truth, that they do not even see their own tyrannical mentality, which is causing nothing but destruction to common people of a nation.
This blind self-serving mentality has been eating away at the United States of America and other nations for decades. Yet it has been the most visible for the last eight years as this nation has been run by a tyrant. Yes I said Barack Hussein Obama is a tyrant. Not because he is black, but because he does not acknowledge that there is a God. The Father of Jesus Christ.
When he came to power. Those like him upon the left of this nation. Felt they had been given a mandate. That it was time for humanity to reject God. They openly stated that those that follow the Bible needed to change how they viewed the world and their teachings of the Bible. That their views were the true views of humanity.
Hillary Clinton, another tyrant, made this very clear during her election. She felt that she had been ordained to become the next leader of the United Stated to carry on this great mandate that was begun by Obama. A mandate that would in time abolish the Christian beliefs and faith off the face of this earth. That the true religion to follow was the teaching and mandates of a religion that demanded the death of most that follow them blindly.
There are more tyrants in power today, than there has ever been in the past. Because most have forgotten, or in reality never knew, one of the most important teaching of the Bible, when it comes to picking a leader, who is human. These are the words of Jesus Christ on what a leader should be like:
Mark 10:42 – So Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. 43 But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
What I really find sad. Is that I even hear those upon the left say these very same words, just in a different way. They ACTUALLY believe they are living this way. Yet they are not. When they spend over eighty million dollars of vacations for themselves with the money of those they are pledges to be a servant to. They are thinking only of themselves.
When they use their office to silence those that have an opposing view point to their own. They are thinking only of themselves.
Yet, to them, they are patriots. They ARE serving the people. Yet millions lose their jobs, and head into poverty. For there is only two classes. The ruling class, those within the government, and those that are to be ruled, the average person. This is the signs of tyranny.
This nation was founded upon Christian principles, teachings and mentality. This created the middle-class, for before this nation came to be their truly wasn’t what can be called the middle-class. Why this is, is because this was the first nation to truly seek for servant-leaders.
Are you aware that until 1855, except for 1815, congresses salary was $6 to $8 per year? Why is this? Because congress was made of servant-leaders. Once they started taking a salary, they became about themselves and not the people they were voted to represent. There are tyrants in congress and the senate as we speak. Reid, and Pelosi are prime examples of tyrants. Yet not all tyrants are on the left. There is McCain for example on the right and others, but I will leave that for you to decide on your own. Any who serve a lifetime in congress are professional politicians, and are in turn tyrants.
What can change this?
For starters, we need Christians to step up to the plate and take office. I don’t mean hypocrites who mouth the words of Christianity yet in reality live of and for the world. We need people who have studied the word of God and come to understand. That those in power are not placed there by a vote, by who they know or who they are related to, but by God.
Any who work of the government, no matter what level they work within were placed there by God, and they are accountable for their actions to God. Many people will awaken in a very warm place one day and never realize until that moment that they lived the wrong life. They lived the life of a tyrant, thinking they were serving the people. When in reality they were only serving themselves.

It is hard listening to the blind

One of the saddest thinks for someone that is true to the Bible, Jesus Christ and His Father: God, is to hear the blind spouting out their words and hearing the echo of someone else coming from their mouth.
You know the source of the lie, you see the lie, yet the blind parrot the words nearly exactly. They so wish to have others do their thinking for them that they dare not listen to someone that holds the truth before them.
It would be like saying I have found Bigfoot and here he is as you point to the furring smelly man-ape beside you and they would insist it is someone in make-up. This is how it is for many that are true to God.
It is worse though when they see many that they call their friends and loved ones that still hold on to ideals and believes that have been proven to be falsehoods and lies, yet they are so entrenched in their comfortable world of lies they would rather reject you then to accept what is true. In many cases it must take something drastic to happen in their lives to even give you a second chance to try and explain what is true and real within the Bible.
They would rather call you judgmental then to understand that you are merely following the true teachings within the Bible that say we are to reprove, rebuke and then to exhort them to hear and understand.
So many sit upon the shoulder of those other humans they worship, Parroting over and over again the lies they are told. Eating upon the scraps that those they worship my toss by chance their way.
Our forefathers of this vary nation saw just how humanity was during their lifetimes. They saw those that would think for themselves and challenged the status quo and in so doing created a new nation. They also saw how easily many others were corrupted by greed and power and so within our very own governmental design placed within the ability to keep other powers in check. Their fear was the career politician. Their fear was a president that would think himself a king. Their fear was a supreme court that would try to govern through laws instead of allowing and supporting the laws created by the legislature.
Yet that is the world we live within today. All three branches corrupt and conspiring with each other. Each gaining more power as the common human just tries to stay alive. Most of which blindly echo the words of those in power that strive to remove the true authority over mankind as they seek to supplant God Himself. Not realizing there are condemning themselves as they do so as the lemmings blindly follow them into damnation.
