Revelation 18:2-8 NKJV – And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

I have started today with these verses because most don’t know or even realize that this once great “city” is showing her fruits, and the stink of evil.

All is being revealed. The “city” that once followed God proudly, even though with many flaws has fallen to the point that the demons do not hide their evil ways, the foul spirits gather to this depraved “city” and millions of unclean and hated bird flock across the boarders to be welcomed into their new cage.

All because they seek earthly abundance and luxuries. For the merchants of the world have become wealthy with earthly riches from all the merchandise that is bought within this “city.”

Millions that profess to follow the Son of God live in this “city,” which is why these words of warning are given to them:

“And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.”

However, most that profess to being “Christian” ignore these words spoken to them. For they would rather have their earthly treasures over their heavenly treasures. For they only see the tangible and cannot fathom the intangible.

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

To come out of her they must do it by following the teachings found within the Word of God, but they would rather be pierced through with many sorrows than to live as commanded by God.

1 Timothy 6:6-10 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Since we are commanded to come out of the “city” we must do that by downsizing and rejecting earthly treasures that rust and decay and use what earthly wealth we have to help those in need and to spreading the Word of God.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV – Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Luke 18:18-22 NKJV – Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.’ ” And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.” So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

“Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven, and come, follow Me.”

This is what IS required to come out of the “city of Babylon.” This MUST be done. For we are all judged by our works not our faith. Just as the fallen city is judged by her works and not by her faith. Once again listen to these words about her judgement:

Revelation 18:6-8 NKJV – Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.

“Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works.”

“In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow.”

Revelation 18:8 NKJV – Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

In the Northwest corner of this “city” sets a volcano. A volcano that is awakening. Building in pressure, causing the land within its core to rise slowly as molten magma seethes with tremendous heat several hundred feet below.

Building it wrath for that day when God will unleash it upon this “city” for judgement. And in that day, it will cause death, mourning and famine. For it will thoroughly cover the entire “city” for thousands of miles all around with layers of falling ash in just one day. It will spit out huge molten hot rocks for hundreds if not thousands of miles all around that will burn and destroy. Whatever crops were growing will be destroyed. Whatever luxuries were within the “city” will become junk within the rubble of destroyed buildings that may have been houses…. Homes to people that lived within the fallen “city.”

What many do not understand. Is that those that do downsize now. That fully commit to God through His Son Jesus Christ. They will not be within the “city” when it falls. For they will have been removed either by God Himself through rapture, or by their choice not to receive the mark of the beast and so they either starved to death or were beheaded. For they chose to come out of this fallen “city” rather than to have remained within her as they were instructed to do. An example of faith through works.

James 2:26 NKJV – For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

The time to come out is now. For the time of the return of Jesus Christ is near. Do not put off for tomorrow what must be done now. Accept the laughter and the ridicule just as Noah did. For it is best to be thought a fool and live an eternal life than to not and live in eternal death and damnation.

Downsize. Sell whatever is not required to make it through each day till Christ does appear in the sky above. Just as we are instructed to do in 1 Timothy, which I will restate once again.

1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

I will end this message here, for to continue would be nothing but repeating myself even more.

Repent. Downsize. Do it now!

God Bless

Revelation 18:4 NKJV – And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

Now there are several points that people must come to a realization about this verse. True it is later in the book of Revelation. However, it is aimed at describing one of the two Babylons. The first Babylon, described in chapter seventeen is the apostate religion which will worship the world and the antichrist. The second is the place called the City of Babylon which is an actual place that exists within this temporal plain we now live within.

It is due to this last statement that this verse is stated and confirmation that at this very moment the City of Babylon is in existence as well the apostate religion. This also means that followers of Christ at this very moment are in the City of Babylon, which is why this warning is given. This is Truth of the Word of God. Refuse to accept it at your own peril of eternal salvation. For it is made clear that we are not to partake of her sins. Therefore, what are her sins?

First:

Revelation 18:3 NKJV – For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

1 – For all the nations have drunk of the ⁸wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her

  1. fornication – G4202 – porneia – harlotry (including adultery and incest); figuratively idolatry, whoredom

a1) harlotry – prostitution

a2) whoredom – Unlawful sexual relations. Promiscuous sex; unfaithfulness to God; idolatry.

  • idolatry – excessive or blind adoration, reverence, devotion, excessive devotion to or reverence for some person or thing

The first sins listed are very telling and reflect the mentality found within many. We see many behaviors that are present in today’s society and has been prevalent and growing for decades but took a greater leap forward starting in the late 1960s and was marked by the event called Woodstock, which took place in 1969. Promiscuous sex increased nearly exponentially. Marriage decreased and unbiblical divorces increased, which fits with “unlawful sexual relations.” People began to leave God and the teachings found within the Bible. To understand the full meaning of “idolatry” we must look to the Word of God:

Ephesians 5:5 NLT – You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

“Worshiping the things of this world.” This includes homes, and those things which fill it. As well as expensive clothes and those things which are called a “want” and are not necessary for someone’s basic requirements to survive. They also worship celebrities be that in music, movies or even politics. This leads us to the next sin listed in this verse from Relveation.

2) abundance of her luxury

To this one we will turn to the Word of God to come to understanding:

Luke 16:13-15 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

Seeking after wealth. Buying expensive homes, multiple homes, expensive items to fill these buildings. Fancy cars. Buying items not needed or required. All of this is things which Jesus Christ said we are not to do or seek after.

Mark 10:21 NKJV – Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

Luke 14:25-27 NKJV – Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

Luke 14:33 NKJV – So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

Many now profess to being “Christian” yet they live in all those things I mentioned earlier. Consequently, in essence they are not following the command given to us in Revelation 18:4. They believe with all their hearts that they are saved and redeemed when it is clear to all that this is the furthest thing from the truth. They have chosen to reject the commands of Christ. They have denied their Savior, who says this to those that choose to turn their back upon Him.

Matthew 10:33 NKJV – But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

They behave just as the Pharisees did to Christ when He said you cannot serve two masters. However, they still can redeem themselves. They still have the opportunity to fix their relationship with God, which is why Christ said this in the last letter to the seven churches:

Revelation 3:17-19 NKJV – Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

“Be zealous and repent.”

what does it mean to be zealous?

Zealous – G2206 – zéloó – affect, covet (earnestly), (have) desire, (move with) envy, be jealous over, I am eager for.

So let us put this into perspective by also looking at the word “chasten.”

Chasten – G3811 – paideuó – to train up a child, that is educate, or by (implication) discipline (by punishment), more severely.

Learn the Truth of the Word of God earnestly and repent meaning to do as the Bible instructs. Sell your possessions and stop living as the world lives. No tattoos, no fancy clothes. Use most of your earthly wealth to spread the Word of God

Stop thinking only about your own self desires and wants.

James 3:13-18 NKJV – Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Take action now, not tomorrow and do not shrug off what is being said here as if it were being said by someone not speaking the Truth. Christ made it clear that we are not to be a part of the world. This makes it so if we are willing to pursue to be His children, His disciples, to come out of the City of Babylon.

In my earlier podcast #133 (And the Sun and Moon will Darken) I go into detail about the two times during the tribulation that the sun will darken. One will be during the breaking of the seals. This is the one that falls in line with the plagues that will befall the City of Babylon. Because during this time those that follow Christ can still be found in this temporal plain of existence. So, this warning will still be relevant to them, however, since the plagues happen toward the end of the first three and a half years of the tribulation. There is no telling how many may be left by that time.

It is also hopeful that they would have awakened to the truth by that time, and hopefully repented from the false teachings they had embraced which resulted in their being still in this temporal existence at this time frame. Leaving them to suffer the trials and could I say tribulations that will befall them in this time frame.

We must also remember that at this time it will be mandatory to accept the mark of the beast, which all indications point to being a chip that is injected into their right hand or possibly inserted into their nasal cavity which is found in the forehead. Even though there has been evidence of a tattoo that has microchip tech planted into the ink. So, disposing for all the personal items people have collected around themselves will be difficult to dispose of. Even though there will be scrupulous people that will take from those selling these idols they worshipped over God for hardly what their supposed earthly value would be. But honestly isn’t this what they will deserve for not truly following Christ and all His commandments in the first place?

As I have stated before we are stewards. We are the servants of Christ.

Hebrews 13:1-9 NLT – Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies. Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery. Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith. Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your strength comes from God’s grace, not from rules about food, which don’t help those who follow them.

These are the actions of a steward of Jesus Christ. It is how all should be acting now. Most refuse to accept this. Most would rather live in their idolatry of worldly possessions.

Is this the fate you truly desire for yourself? All because you refused to heed the warning. So, I will state it once again.

Revelation 18:4 NKJV – And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

To come out of her you must get rid of your homes, clothes and luxuries that go beyond your daily needs to survive and then use most of your earthly wealth to spread the Word of God
