Discussion

A few weeks back I had an encounter with a person on social media. In this encounter the person insisted that they were walking in the light of Christ. However, they felt it was not their duty to spread the Word of God. In fact, this person stated out right that the laws Christ Himself said would not end until the Great White Throne Judgement were no longer in effect. I showed this person the Words spoken by Jesus Christ Himself. Still, He was right and the Words spoken by our Savior were not true. What does Jesus Christ say?

Matthew 5:17-19 NKJV – “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

“Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

When someone denies the existence of the commandments, they teach that we are to break them, so those that do this are seen as least in the kingdom of heaven.

This person also said it was not their duty to spread the Good News. Christ said this about that:

Matthew 25:14-30 NKJV – “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

As I have shown in past podcasts this is not about gaining wealth, but about helping people to find salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior. When this person said it was not their duty to help others to find this salvation, they became the servant that buried their talent, their salvation. They were determined to keep their “salvation” just for themselves and everyone else had to find their own way to God without this person’s help. This person would not judge those that had not found God. Simply stated He knew where the Lord sowed His seeds and so instead of helping these seeds to grow this person hid their salvation away. What was their reward in the end?

“And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

“There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Where else in the Bible do we see this description? That is explained in another parable that Jesus is asked to explain. So, He does:

Matthew 13:36-43 NKJV – Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

So, this makes it clear that those that experience weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth are in hell. But’ there is something else that comes into perspective in these verses as well. It is this statement:

“They will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness.”

The word “lawlessness” is used another time in Matthew as well:

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

What does it mean to practice lawlessness?

Lawlessness is shown as “iniquity” in the KJV in both places. Therefore, we will examine this word:

Iniquity – anomia – lawlessness, disobedience, sin, illegality, that is, violation of the law, unrighteousness.

But, if there is no laws, no commandments how can they be violated?

Jesus Christ also said this:

Luke 16:16-17 NKJV – “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.

“Pressing into” as I have shown in the past this mean all are forced into the law and the prophets. Therefore, any who state there are no longer any laws or commandments are in fact living and teaching other to break the laws and the commandments. So, their destination is not in heaven but where?

Revelation 21:8 NKJV – But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

This is supported when the person I was talking about at the beginning of today’s study rejected the Word’s spoken by Jesus Christ Himself.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 NKJV – If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

“Even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness.”

This brings me to these verses found in Hebrews:

Hebrews 6:4-6 NKJV – For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

They have assigned for themselves their own fate. It is something that should cause anyone to feel discomfort and even a bit of fear that they may slide away from the Holy gifts they were so freely given. Paul wrote this about the laws and his own torment that he himself experienced. What is to follow should give all pause if they do not feel uncomfortable in how they live. For Paul an apostle chosen by Jesus Christ Himself felt he was not worthy of his calling as is seen in the verses that follow:

Romans 7:7-25 NKJV – What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “YOU SHALL NOT COVET.” But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead. I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good. Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

It is very clear that the laws, the commandments are still in effect. Any who say otherwise are in fact denying their Savior and thus their own salvation. They wear a façade of holiness, but is that all it is. The thing is God will allow them to repent to return to Him. It makes that very clear in Revelation 3:1-6, which is where I will end today’s study at.

Revelation 3:1-6 NKJV – “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ‘

Psalms 127:3 NKJV – Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.

Luke 17:2 NKJV – It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

I started with these two verses for a reason. There are elements at work in this world that are seeking to destroy the lives of innocence. But who takes the major blame in this issue? The ones seeking to corrupt or those that allow it to take place? To whom does the millstone need to be tied to?

Proverbs 22:6 NKJV – Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Ephesians 6:4 NKJV – And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

Deuteronomy 6:5-7 NKJV – You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

The true answer? Both should have the millstone tied to them. For both have offended the children.

A child should never be exposed to those sins which dominate the minds of adults.

Matthew 15:19 NKJV – For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

They should experience a true and safe childhood. A childhood that includes learning the Bible and coming to understand the ways of the Lord. How to live a modest life. Not just in dress, but in livelihood as well. Always placing God first in all things and in all ways.

Since the removal of God from schools in 1962 multiple generations have been corrupted due to the failing of the parent to train their children as instructed within the Bible. There will be those that say they have. Yet they live in wealth and luxuries, which are opposite the teachings of the Bible. (Matthew 6:19-21) There will be those that say they sent their children to religious schools, not willing to see that they sent there not to learn of God, but how to act and live haughty. Again, counter to the teachings of the Bible for all these fancy expensive schools do is to teach a child to think greater of themselves than any should.

Proverbs 21:4 NLT – Haughty eyes, a proud heart, and evil actions are all sin.

Philippians 2:3 NKJV – Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

However, this has not been truly and fully taught for decades. Most now believe and think that great riches make and show who is a true “Christian.” But this is what we are told to teach our children:

Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

We are also to teach them this:

Mark 10:17-25 NKJV – Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.'” And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

What is even more important was to teach this lesson:

Matthew 22:34-40 NKJV – But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

But no this is not taught to the children. Now people try to make them think they are not who they are. They sew confusion and destruction.

1 Corinthians 14:33 NKJV – For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

How many children are confused and bewildered. Not just by their normal growing pains, but by also those that feed lies into their minds. Causing many a youth to seek death rather than live with the confusion. All because none truly taught them of the Creator of all.

I once was watching the movie “Samson and Delilah” and a young man entered the room with my youngest son and he asked what I was watching. I said the name and he replied with a questioning look. “Never heard of them.” Was his statement.

How many have grown with no knowledge at all of God and the teachings found within the Bible? How many have now made it clear that there are no Christian nations left in this world? Only modern civilizations filled with luxuries and comforts. Like fables of old. Like Atlantis, ancient China. Civilization tainted by lusts for greed and lusts of the flesh. All because the children were not taught as we are told to teach them. That this life we now live is not the true life to seek after, but only the proving ground to see if we are worthy of entering into that true and eternal life.

This is the truth. If they have no knowledge of those within the Bible and the lessons those people learned the hard way. What horrors they may have to endure to come into the realization that God is real, and Jesus Christ was as well. That He truly died upon the cross and on the third day rose from the dead to allow us all the ability to live for all eternity.

How many Sci-fi books have they read and movies as well as TV shows have they watched that taught of ascension into a higher being.

Yet they know nothing of the only Truth that has taught this very thing for centuries and is not a fable or a fairy tale but is a real and honest Truth.

All that is required is to ask Jesus Christ to be their Savior and to follow simple commandments by treating all other as they themselves desire to be treated.

That they read the Bible and come to understand that things people now do are not how they should live. For our greatest rewards are not found here in this temporal existence but in the eternity ahead of all of humanity.

That if they reject Christ and His Father that they will still live for all eternity but not in a new a perfect body, but in a body that will suffer in pain and anguish for just as long as those that are loyal to God.

We are to teach these children and get them to understand that it is not God punishing them, but themselves. For all are born in sin and must pay the prices for their sin.

That is why it is called “salvation.” For they are being saved from suffering for all eternity for their actions and thoughts. That it is due to being born in corruption that all are destine to this damnation and that it is only through accepting Christ as their Savior that they avoid this curse.

It is also making them to understand that just asking Christ to be their Savior is not enough. They must show their faith by living their belief. Living a simple live and not seeking after wealth and comforts. But living with the least of their income and giving the most to help in the spreading of the Word of God. For that is taught in these verses:

1 Timothy 6:6-10 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

As well as these verses a little later in this chapter:

1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV – Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Time is running out. We must save as many children as possible. For those that have been tainted by adult sins will have to stay and suffer with the rest. They will not have the maturity to understand and will most likely choose the mark over Christ. This will be the ultimate betrayal to Christ to all those that should be in innocence to suffer the agony of the Lake of Fire for billions upon billions upon billions of year.

Bring them to God or start to prey for the millstone. For that is the fate that is coming for all the goats that choose to follow the antichrist.

God Bless

Opinion.

Everybody has one. But what is an “opinion.” Well let’s go to the basics, how is this word defined.

per Cambridge dictionary it is: a thought or belief about something or someone

  1. thought – the act of thinking about or considering something, an idea or opinion, or a set of ideas about a particular subject
  2. belief – something that you believe
  3. belief also means – the feeling of being certain that something exists or is true.

The thing is when it comes to the word “opinion” it is the first definition that applies.

One of the things that people do though is that they look to the Bible and say it is nothing but opinion and so in turn they apply how they believe things should be. This is one of the worst things a person can do when it comes to the Bible. This is where the need to use the second definition of the word “belief” and apply it.

Case in point:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV – All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

I turned first to these verses within the Bible for what is to follow.

In a recent discussion I had on the internet the verse that is to follow was questioned and opinionated upon:

Proverbs 13:24 NKJV – He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.

When taking this verse in concert with the previous verses we can come to only one conclusion. Spanking our children is something that must be done to instill discipline. This is a command from God. Then it must be followed. If we do not do this, we are saying we hate our children.

But why does it mean we hate them?

When spanking a child, they suffer pain and anguish. This in turn, when done in limits that are not excessive, causes them to know that what they have done is wrong. It also associates pain with this prohibited behavior. This tells them that when placed in context with the Bible that entering into sin will cause pain. Which in fact it ultimately will.

Isaiah 66:24 NKJV – “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

Do you not think that worms eating your flesh will not be painful? In addition being burned is one of the worst sensations to ever encounter due to the damage done to the nerves. This pain will go on every single day, of every month of every year for billions upon billions of years.

This is what it means that those that do not spank hate their children. For odds increase exponentially that since they did not associate pain with sin they will willingly enter into sin and thus are more likely not to accept salvation offered by Jesus Christ and end up for eternity in the Pit of Fire described in Isaiah chapter 66.

Right now, many that have read or listened to this are upset and angry of what has just been stated here. That is their opinion. An opinion that goes counter to the command given by God within the Bible.

Which is greater? Their opinion or the Bible. I will requote the verse from 2 Timothy:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT – All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

The Bible is to teach those that profess to be His disciples to do what is right. What is right is what is written in the Bible. Therefore, if the Bible says to spank your child is right and is what is required of us to do.

Any who counter this. Any who deny this. Any who insist this is abuse. Have just crossed a line they need to reconsider. For their opinion goes against the Word of God, which is the Bible. And who is the Word?

John 1:1-5 NKJV – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

When someone’s opinion goes against the Word. They openly deny He who is the Word and so they in turn can be denied by Him who is the Word.

Matthew 10:33 NKJV – But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

But why is this? Because they place their opinion over the Word of God. Those that place their opinion over the Word of God place more value upon the person they have this opinion from. Consequently, their god in not the Word of God who is Jesus Christ, but what they value most in this world.

Themselves.

This is the true value of opinion when not taking the teachings of Jesus Christ into account. Any opinion that does not walk hand in hand with what is written within the Bible, it walks in darkness. This is why it is so vitally important that people read the Bible for themselves. To be able to verify that what someone is opining about is accurate and true. This allows them to know that they are receiving a teaching of the True Gospel and can avoid being cursed.

Galatians 1:6-10 NKJV – I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

This is the true value of “opinion.” Opinion opens the door to false teachings which will lead people not to salvation, but the damnation described earlier in the Pit of Fire. Opinion will lead to being cursed by God and not blessed by Him.

The reason for this as was mentioned earlier. Opinion comes from the person placing themselves before God and His Son our Savior Jesus Christ. It is made clear in these verses spoken by Christ Himself where our priorities are to be if we wish to be called “Christian.”

Luke 14:25-27 NKJV – Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

When offering an opinion that does not fit like a puzzle piece with the teachings found within the Bible. It says that you love your own life and not hate it as we are commanded by Christ Himself to do. This is the true meaning of these verses in the Gospel of Luke.

Yet how many that refer to themselves as “Christian” offer opinions that go against the Bible?

That is simple to answer for once again we can turn to the Bible for an answer:

Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV – “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

How is the word “explanation” defined?

explanation – the details or reasons that someone gives to make something clear or easy to understand. This is not opinion. For as was shown “opinion” has to do with how someone believes something to be or is, as was shown earlier.

These podcasts of mine are formed of both opinion and explanation. For I belief God, and wish all that hear or read these podcasts to do the same. This is why I use multiple translations of the Bible as well. For I have studied the Word of God and the translations I use stand up to be the True Word of God. You will also note that I never use the NIV, for that version has proven to be accursed per Galatians 1:6-10. For it has been perverted into a people pleasing work and does not stand up to the study of the Word of God.

This is why it is so important to you listening or reading this to do the same. Come to know the Word of God intimately. For that is what we are called to do. All of us.

I have had encounters with those that have read the Bible. However, their actions and behavior does not conform to what is taught within the pages of this most important book. There have even been those that deny God Himself and in those cases, they know more about the Word then those that profess to being “Christian.”

I had an encounter with a Jewish woman, who still claimed this title. Yet denied God. She time and again told me to get rid of my earthly riches, not knowing that I had just lost most of my earthly possessions not less then a month before that.

What this tells me now as I look at it now is that God was using this woman to tell me not to seek after earthly possessions once again. As so many actually do after experiencing the same loss of worldly goods as I had. I actually believe I had already learned this deep down. For when God brought my wife into my life, which is another story in itself, I had a love seat setting in the middle of my living room with a big screen TV against the wall and I was content with that.

But to get back on track.

Study the Word of God. Not just read it. Study the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic that the Bible is written in. Also realize that it is Greek and not Latin for the New Testament. This in itself again speaks volumes. For only the Greek which came out of Constantinople due to fall of the Byzantine Empire in 1453. This is why the Reformation began in 1517 due to the True Gospel coming into the hands of Martin Luther. Because he studied the True Word of God.

This is why you must not take the word of any humans over the Word of God, for odds are it is their opinion and not an explanation of it.

For time is running out and Christ is soon to return. Repent and do as instructed in the last letter to the churches in the book of Revelation:

Revelation 3:18-22 NKJV – I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ‘ “

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.”

chasten equals spanks.

Discussion

Too many listens to the basics in their faith. The writer of Hebrews wrote this:

Hebrews 5:8-14; 6:1-6 NKJV – though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, called by God as High Priest “ACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK,” of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. 6:1 -Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Are those listening at the point of no return? Are they so filled with their own self-righteousness that they cleave to milk and refuse the solid nourishment of the Word of God?

That is not for me to say, but you to consider as we continue with today’s Bible study.

What I myself have seen and noted is how the message in many of the buildings called “churches.” You will see the same topics covered on a schedule according to what time of year it is in the world about. They all mostly end with an altar call to those willing to accept Christ as their Savior. This equates to milk.

Many say that Sunday School is for the growth in the knowledge of God through the Word. Yet they too are limited to repeating the same topics or go chapter by chapter what is within the Bible. However, they never truly explore import topics within these classes for fear they may scare someone away from the Truth. Again milk.

The true meaning of what Christ said is beyond many within the buildings called “churches” because they have never heard it or taught it. Why? Because many that stand in the dais want to keep the pews full to bring in the money required just to keep the maintenance of the building going. Simply they aren’t a place for God, but a business.

What did Christ do about this?

Matthew 21:12-13 NKJV – Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER,’ but you have made it a ‘DEN OF THIEVES.'”

I have seen examples of this in many buildings that call themselves “churches.” Little bookstores in the lobby of these buildings. Special classes where you pay money to attend. These are the actions of a “den of thieves” not followers of Christ.

When preachers do not tell you to repent. When they do not tell you to downsize and not be looking for bigger and better, they work from their own pocketbook and not for God and so are thieves and you are going to their den.

Den – G4693 – spélaion – a cave, a den, a hideout

Den – the home of particular types of wild animal

Matthew 7:15-20 NKJV – “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Luke 16:14-15 NKJV – Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

Romans 16:17-18 NKJV – Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.

I must tell you a story. An event I myself lived. One of the things I have learned to do is to interview ministers of the churches I try to attend. I have done this several times. I will give you two instances.

In the first the pastor insisted that all is grey. Which equates to all even those that are followers of Christ are lukewarm and none can change this.

In the second I specifically asked the man if he believed in “once saved always saved.” He said yes. Even when I read and showed him John 15:1-6. He insisted you cannot lose you salvation contrary to these verses. I will now restate these verses. Words from Jesus Christ Himself:

John 15:1-6 NKJV – “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

As I have established in the study of these verses in Podcast #3. That only those that have received salvation can be a part of the Vine. Those that challenge this. That deny this truth. Deny He who said them.

Matthew 10:32-33 NKJV – “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

As a result, in essence. This pastor. This leader of a building called a “church” denied His Savior Jesus Christ. This is the result of feeding milk to the masses and not the meat of the Word of God.

Here is the meat of the Bible. What is to follow was written to those in Rome that professed to being followers of Christ. They had just read the behavior of those that deny God and were led into homosexual sin against their creator whom they deny.

Romans 2:1-11 NLT – You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

One of the greatest verses within the Bible is this last verse I just read to you so I will re-read it once again.

“For God does not show favoritism.”

When people say they cannot loss their salvation they are saying that they are a favorite of God. That they are special and unique. Better than any other human being.

Romans 12:3 NKJV – For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Now to get the focus back to those that stand upon the dais I will read this.

Ephesians 4:17-19 NKJV – This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

There are those out there that do not say this. But that is what we are instructed to do within the Bible. For the Bible is the Word of God and when you ask Jesus into your life you are binding yourself to these words.

Then why do those in the pulpits and stand upon the dais not say these words? Are they not the representative of God? Actually, no they are not. They are a representative of those that appointed these people the leaders. When you accept Jesus as your Savior you yourself become a representative of God. It is your responsibility to make sure what you are hearing is the Truth of the Bible. Yes, the Bible does say this:

Ephesians 4:11-13 NKJV – And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

If those you have chosen to lead you do not bring unity in our faith and true knowledge of God’s Son so that we can stand a pure reflection of Jesus Christ Himself, are they serving God or themselves? The answer is they are serving themselves.

There is more to Ephesians chapter 4 then what I read earlier. So, I will continue:

Ephesians 4:20-24 NKJV – But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

What I find is that many now days try not to acknowledge the statement that the gentiles have given themselves “over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.” Now there are those that call themselves “Christian” and do these very same things themselves. As was just shown above we are to come into unity and seek after being a true reflection of Jesus Christ. Jesus the one and only perfect being ever to walk this planet. If people live in lustful pleasures and impurity, they are nowhere near that reflection.

We are told that we must leave our sins behind. We can no longer live in the sinful lives that so many cherish more than God. For by doing so they are not “Christian,” but a gentile, a sinner, and something that is not welcome in heaven.

Ephesians 4:30-32 NKJV – And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Why I do this podcast is because time is running out. It is time to wake up. Stop going through the motions. You cannot continue to go into the den of wolves and expect to live. And I don’t mean live here, but eternally. For Jesus Christ is soon to return and you really wish to not have had Him blot out your name from the Book of Life.

God Bless.

Discussion

Those that seek to please the self. Those that believe that they are an example to humanity. Those that believe they are better than anyone else are all purveyors of chaos. The Bible says this about these types of people:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 –  But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

1 John 2:15-16 – Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

Galatians 5:19-21 – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Matthew 15:18-19 – But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

All that is listed here is chaos.

Chaos can take many forms. In the entertainment industry like movies and TV shows, it is usually depicted as wars or some type of conflict. In reality it can be more subtle, more deceiving.

The actual definition of “chaos” is this: a state of disorder and confusion.

In today’s world we are in a time of disorder and confusion on multiple levels. In some cases, there is violence, but most of the disorder and confusion comes from everyday life itself.

The effects of order and chaos do correspond like a pendulum swinging from one side to the other. It has now swung to the side of chaos. So now we must deal with its effects and outcome of the damage that will come from it.

There are those that say chaos is good. Then there are those that know the truth and understand that chaos is always bad, and the degree to which the pendulum is allowed to swing deeper into the side of chaos demands an equal and opposite reaction of order to return the swing to go back the other way. However, even though the swing may appear equal the human cost is always greater when leaving chaos, when leaving evil. Let me explain.
The last time the swing into chaos went too far it cost over 60 million deaths, which was about 3% of the 1940 world population. Then the swing of the pendulum went into the order side.

Here is a contrast to note. For the swing of the pendulum to swing away from order and back into chaos does not necessarily require deaths to cause it, but the minds of humanity to reject order. This started and took place in the 1960s. Now the Vietnam War was going on this time and an approximate total deaths of 1,313,000 took place in that war. That was not a major factor in the change of people minds against order. Those that started the pendulum swing to chaos desired and even lusted for chaos, for sin. Not only in their hearts but their minds as well as they experimented with drugs like LSD and heroin.

They felt enslaved to order. They in their minds wished to have freedom from what they saw as constrains of order. Why this took place was a failing of those that were teaching order. From teaching the doctrines from which order resides, the Bible. For they themselves in most cases didn’t understand the teachings of the Bible. Those teaching the Bible had become legalistic, demanding order be followed, but to follow God is not something that can be demanded. It is something that is voluntary.

But understand what is meant by “legalistic.” Legalism is living the law and following the law, but not being true to the law. That is not having a repentance. Not truly desiring to be faithful to God nor His Son. That is legalism, that is being Legalistic.

What is truly sad though is due to all the chaos we now live within. Those that seek after it and truly desire it for themselves have turned into that which they themselves hated. They have become legalist of chaos. Desiring to control all by demanding that all embrace the chaos and accept it as the truth and all to ending all. Yet as has been shown the swing away from chaos back toward to order usually results in more deaths than it takes to swing from order toward chaos.

What I see in this is that through the love of Christ. He desires us to stay within the constraints of a type of order, not one dictated in legalism, but in a heartfelt desire to be obedient to all the teachings within the Bible, including those laws not replaced by Christ going to the cross. Christ desires that within an order that followed and given with love that can lead to an eternal life that has more to offer than this world we now live within could ever offer. To follow the teachings of the Bible can seem confining, but that is a test of our love and our devotion to our Savior.

Is that really so much to ask of us? I honestly don’t think so.

What is to follow is how to live within order, and if we do so we live within the laws of Moses as well.

Romans 12:9-18 – Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! 17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

This is true and complete order. The furthest swing of the pendulum toward order. Yet now as stated we are at the opposite side of the swing, and the blade has gone further than ever before toward chaos. With that in mind. What will be the death toll required to have the swing head back toward order, toward Christ, toward God?

The last time was 60 million.

The Bible tells us the cost, the toll required for this next mandatory swing. It is just not what many think. Most think it is during the great disaster predicted during the tribulation. To some part that is very true, but it is not totally true.

The key is found in 2 Thessalonians.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 – For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

Now why is this? First off, we must understand that the “He” who is taken out of the way is the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Once we have been filled with the Holy Spirit, we are a Holy Temple unto God. That, which dwells within us cannot leave us if we stay true to God. Consequently, when the Holy Spirit is taken away all that have the temple within them are taken out of the way as well.

It has another name: a rapture.

Revelation 7:9-14 – After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” 13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” 14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Many scholars have debated this for centuries. Yet none can come to Christ without the Holy Spirit, per the words of Christ Himself:

John 3:5 – Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

If the Holy Spirit is not present, because He must be removed to allow the antichrist to be revealed, none can be saved after the midpoint of the tribulation. This must be something that is considered.

If this is factual and accurate then these “uncountable” otherwise known as billions could be considered part of the cost required. Then those others that happen during the devastation that follows are also part of that cost.

Simply it will cost billions of lives to cause the swing of the pendulum to go back to order, toward righteousness. What many don’t think about or realize is the true cost. The true deaths required in the price of being under chaos.

Death of the soul. Death that will last all eternity. Death that will include many that think they are destine to eternity.

Read the Bible for yourself. Learn the Bible for yourself. Live what is taught within the Bible for yourself.

Discussion

Recently I encountered those that wish to deny the need for baptism. Their excuses ranged from varying aspects. However, when I confronted them with the Word of Jesus Christ Himself, I was bewildered by their rebuttal.

First off, we will show the verse that is the Words of Christ:

John 3:5 – Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Their excuse they used is that “born of water” is in reference to being born period. The water of the womb.

I did through research upon this topic. First off let’s look at the word “water.”

Water – G5204 – hudór – water

It just means water. Plain and simple water.

Now here is something that needs to be understood. During my research of this word in the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament. These elements were found about this word.

  1. There was a strong emphasis on the fact that the world was destroyed in a flood.
  2. Water is extremely valued in the middle east.
  3. Its main importance within the letters written by John was that of cleansing.

In the several pages dedicated to the word “water.” Covering its base meanings. Its emphasis throughout the region, as well as how the Jewish people thought of it in the Old Testament and New. One thing never once occurred. That of birth of the human child and the breaking of the water from the womb.

Those that listen to this myth forget an important thing:

1 Corinthians -15:50-53 – Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

With these verses in mind this completely negates those that say the “water” referred to in John 3 is what happens to all humanity at the time they enter this temporal realm of existence.

The actual meaning has more to do with cleansing and destruction of that which is evil for that which is able to become a vessel for the Holy Spirit. Something that shouldn’t be defiled, for it has been washed clean.

Romans 12:1-2 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

This is one of the main reasons why baptism is a requirement per Jesus Christ in John 3:5. Not only of death and rebirth, but of physical and spiritual cleansing to allow the person the ability to be the vessel of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

This brings us to the baptism of Jesus Christ Himself. For even though Jesus was born of a virgin and never commit any sin. His human body was still corrupt, which required the need for a baptism, a cleansing.

Matthew 3:13-17 – Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. 14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” 15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. 16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

“Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.”

This statement is enough to verify what I stated before the verses describing Christ baptism. This was only able to be accomplished through baptism. Note the next verses:

“When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.”

In the KJV:

Matthew 3:16 – And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Straightway – G2117 – euthus – at once, forthwith, immediately.

Two things that need to be shown here.

  1. He came straight out of the water immediately. This shows full emersion baptism.
  2. He is cleansed and worthy to once again be filled with what which was originally His, the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost.

This cleansing is a requirement to allow us to be the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Which fully explains the words of Jesus Christ Himself in John 3:5. Earlier I read from Romans 12. I will restate it at this time because it shows the import of why we should fear to sin.

Why are we commanded to behave in such a way?

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 – Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Due to our corruption which was shown in 1 Corinthians 15 as staying that way until we go into the presence of Christ at the Rapture if we are so fortunate. We will still sin to some degree since we are not the One who was sinless.

We should all strive to remove all sin from our lives as best we can. Through prayer, supplication, and study of the Word of God. Ever determined not to sin in any form. For when we do so we desecrate a Temple of the Holy Spirit. Out of fear of God we should always steer away from sin as best we can.

“The thief upon the cross was not baptized.” Comes the excuses once again.

How do you know this? There is nothing in the Bible that tells the history of the thief. Here are factors that need to be considered.

All agree that all three, Christ and the two thieves, were led to Golgotha. Christ was in the lead. The main person to be crucified that day. Blood still flowed from Christ onto the ground, and the two thieves walked through His blood. Something few even think about. But this is only a theory and no more should be thought upon it, which I will explain why shortly.

Then we have the story of Peter calling Jesus the Son of God.

Matthew 16:16-17 – Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Could the thief have been so blessed?

I have no true answers to this issue. What I know is that Jesus said this man for saying Christ was innocent was welcomed in heaven. That is all that is important. Those that apply this to baptism are more likely making excuse to sin then to follow Christ. Here I will leave this. For I am only striving to spread the True Word of God, and that is all that is shown within the Word. Any who wish to expand upon it or apply things not written within the Bible are making myths and fairytales.

1 Timothy 4:6-7 – If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed. 7 But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness.

2 Timothy 4:1-4 – I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Those that say the “water” in John 3:5 is a woman giving birth have created a fable and those that believe and teach it should be turned away from. For they desire to live in the sins we are instructed to leave behind defiling the Temples of the Holy Spirit.

Turn from sin and turn to God through Jesus Christ. If you have not been baptized do so and seek to end all sin within you as you live here on earth. Seek out full emersion baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and remember that once you do so that once you enter into sin once again, which will occur. You defile the Holy Spirit and seek damnation if you do not repent of your sins.

For Christ is soon to return and time is running short.

Abomination

This word in the Greek is only seen six times in the New Testament. Two of these times was used by Christ to describe the antichrist in the books of Matthew and Mark. It is used twice in the book of Revelation as part of the description of the world religion which worships the antichrist.

Why I stated with these four examples of this word is because I wanted for you the listener and reader to understand the use of this word as something to be seen as extremely bad.

Many times, throughout past podcasts I have used one of the other two verses that uses this Greek word. I will get to that shorty, but I want this to sink in a bit.

In two uses it is used as a description of the antichrist and the other two part of the description of the one world religion that will worship the antichrist. Just think about that. This being and this group are the antithesis of Jesus Christ and those that follow Christ. Those that are called “Christian.”

So let us now look at these verses once again that I have used in the past:

Luke 16:14-15 – Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. 15 And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

When Christ talked to the Pharisees, he labeled them as what they were:

“You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.”

The Pharisees justified themselves to men not God.

Justify – G1344 – dikaioó – render, (that is, show or regard as) just or innocent, be righteous, to show to be righteous, declare righteous

Simply they made the Jewish people believe they were “holy” by feigning righteousness. Then he says what?

“For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.”

What is highly esteemed among men?

Again, I turn to verses I have used more than once:

1 John 2:15-16 – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

“Craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions.”

Physical pleasure is not just limited to sex, but an adrenaline rush which is achieved through various means. Like participating in or watching sporting events, as well as video games and other entertainment like movies and television.

A craving for everything we see goes to seeking after beauty in all its forms. Form clothing to how people look and even tattoos. As well as face-lifts and seeking after eternal youth. Pride in achievements is seeking after success and prestige. While pride in possessions is seeking after the best, biggest and most luxurious.

What many don’t think about is that one of the worst places that participate in this is within churches. In fact, churches themselves do the same thing. The bigger the better when that is actually per the verses of 1 John a sin. Accordingly, seeking after bigger churches is pursing that which the world esteems.

Simply they are now equal to the Pharisees.

Right now, there are those listening that are protesting what I just stated. The mere fact that they are is verification that I have just stated fact. What does Jesus say about this?

Matthew 7:13-14 – “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.

Most that profess to being “Christian” believe this is in reference to those that deny Christ. However, when you look at the full context of Matthew 7. Especially the verses that directly follow these:

Matthew 7:15-23 – “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. 16 You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. 18 A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. 19 So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. 20 Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. 21 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. 22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

In the first half Christ is describing what to look for in false teachers, then He goes on to describe those that believed with all their hearts and actions that they were one with Christ. Yet He will say He never knew them.

I have shown multiple times those ending verses and explained that none can cast out demons unless they were once born again. Yet now they are denied by Christ.

Why is this?

It is because they have made themselves an abomination to Christ. They have turned themselves into the lukewarm.

Revelation 3:15-18 – “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! 17 You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. 18 So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.

Christ is giving them an out. He is asking them to repent. To abandon their riches and to seek after that which comes from Him. That which can only be received by leaving that which the world esteems to that which God esteems.

Mark 10:21 – Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Matthew 6:19-24 – “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. 22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is! 24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.

Any who seek after wealth and riches are an abomination. They are on the same level as the antichrist and those that willingly follow after the riches of the world. Why do you think they are seen as worse than those that outright deny Christ? Why are they spit from His body?

Because they are an abomination. On par with those that are opposite of God, of Christ. This is why they are spit out.

Revelation 3:16 – So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Spue – G1692 – emeó – to vomit

  1. Vomit – to spew forth

Those that are the lukewarm are equal to those that follow the antichrist. They are no longer worthy to be in the presence of God or in the Body of Christ. They are detestable, seen as something that is willingly to show anger and hate for that which is true and righteous.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 – If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, 5 useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

“From such withdraw yourself.”

Why say this? Because they are seen as evil. They are seen as an abomination.

Discussion

More than once I have run into people that say: “But that was under the old covenant.” They say this because they wish to live in sin.

But let us go to the beginning of this issue.

People love to quote this verse:

Luke 16:16 – “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.

And I will never argue this point. However, they seem to forget the very next verse:

Luke 16:17 – And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.

Christ also said this:

Matthew 5:17-19 – “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

As pertaining to the new covenant Christ also said this:

Matthew 22:36-40 – “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

“Of these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Yet another affirmation that the laws of Moses that have nothing to do with sacrifices are still to be obeyed. For example, not to get tattoos.  For as the previous verses that were referenced earlier stated shows that we are still answerable to them. This is especially verified in the two given in Matthew 22.

Yet this is not enough for many. Let us look at this from a different perspective.

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Note how that last verse is worded.

The implication is that when living like this we fall within the parameters of the Laws of Moses, which again confirms that the laws are still active. This also implies that those that chose to live in sin are answerable to the Laws of Moses.

Since the very beginning humans have required limits. They need boundaries to work within. This was the entire purpose of the laws.

Yet now we no longer require these restrictions?

The most important verses within the Bible when it come to this topic are those of Matthew chapter 5.

Christ makes it extremely clear. He came to fulfil not to end the laws. However, the moment someone says, “that doesn’t apply to us.” They just said that the laws are destroyed, are removed.

Consequently, they are greater than God? That is the implication of this statement. They are special. They are privileged. They are favored. I have already addressed this in podcast #112 (No one has favoritism) This is the mentality of the Pharisees. Those who hated Christ for His Words went against theirs. Just as this truth goes against those that wish to live their lives as they see fit. Openly defying God.

Why though do they do this and still believe they are following God?

Because saying that the laws of Moses have no precedent in their lives it allows them to believe they are working in concert with God. When in fact they are living a lie. It is their mental twisting of the truth to make them feel they are working for God when it is made clear that they are actually working against Him.

It allows them to feel they have power in their service for God in this short time we are here in this temporal existence. They forget a key element in this though.

Only one being causes what happens. Only one being orchestrates the fate of humanity. That is God. Who knows full well how each person will act and respond to the Word of God. He knows that for centuries people have gotten wrong about what is required to be a follower of His Son. But there are enough that overcome to make it worthwhile.

However, He also knows that the further we come from that time that Jesus walked this planet. That humanity perverts the teachings of His Son to suit their own desires. Which is why we have these words in 2 Timothy:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 – But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors,  headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Most believe this is in reference to those that deny God. However, due to the words of verse five, we actually see it is referring to those that profess to being “Christian” as well. Why? Because they reject that the laws are still to be followed. Which in turn entitles them to live as those described in these verses. Why because they say there is no longer laws to be followed.

Earlier I read the verses of Matthew chapter 22. I will re-read the last verse:

Matthew 22:40 – On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

What this means if we live this way we will work within the limits of the laws of Moses. The thing is we need to know and understand what are within these laws to know for sure we are working within their perimeters.

People go about saying they love God and His Son. However, they enter into sins that are shown within the laws as just that sin. A prime example is those that get tattoos after accepting Christ as their Savior. The vessel of the Hoy Spirit, that which should scare them to harm or damage they do so anyway without even giving it a second thought.

Why? Because they have no knowledge of what is or is not sin because they have been told there are no laws anymore. Yet Christ made it clear that the laws would not end until the creation of the new heaven and new earth. Once again let us read Matthew five:

Matthew 5:17-19 – “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

“Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven.”

Any who say there is no laws, no commandments truly desire to be least, if not totally removed from the kingdom of heaven. They are acting in defiance of the Words spoken by Jesus Christ Himself.

Let us return to the tattoo example:

Leviticus 19:28 – You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.

Christ dying upon the cross did not end this. In fact, what does the New Testament say:

Romans 12:1-2 – And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Those of the world tattoo their bodies. So those that follow Christ shouldn’t even consider getting tattoos. If they have them before the are saved, they must live with the shame of it. But to add to it with so called “Christian” markings is actually insulting to Jesus Christ and His Father for you are basically placing graffiti upon the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, as you can see the laws never ended if you read the Bible with that context in mind you will see the truth of this. Accordingly, any who say otherwise are in fact teachings a false teaching.

I once had someone ask me if I am following the Laws of Moses. I replied with Matthew 22. They insisted that I answer their question. Yet I just had. You see the first commandment comes from Deuteronomy. To be accurate Chapter 6 verse 5. And the second Leviticus 19:18.

So, if these are from the laws of Moses and Christ says we are to follow them, then who can say the laws are dead?

Those that wish to live their lives as they see fit perhaps and not to the standards set forth by Jesus Christ Himself.

Ponder this and look to your own lives for Christ is soon to return.

God Bless.

Discussion

Time to time I encounter those that wish to attack my podcasts. I have learned to be very longsuffering. In one of these recent meetings the person claimed I was not working through the Holy Spirit because they found evidence of things that Christ forgave long ago on my Facebook page. They became haughty and self-righteous. Claiming they had been proven right. This was truly something that was sad.

This person crossed a line, and the Bible has verses addressing this:

Matthew 7:1-6 – “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. 3 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye. 6 “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.

I have done Bible studies upon this in the past (Podcast #57 – A study of the verses about Judging one another) So I will not go into that.

Why I have read these verses is because that is what occurred that day. The person judged what I had posted.

When it comes to these podcasts, I do my best to pray and allow the Holy Spirit to guide my hand. Especially in the case of the message this person decided to make their judgement about. (Podcast #102 – The Seven letters of the book of Revelation for this moment in time)

We must understand that we are in the last days. In my last podcast I was guided to post these verses:

1 Peter 4:12-19 – Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. 14 If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you. 15 If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs. 16 But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name! 17 For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News? 18 And also, “If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?” 19 So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.

Those within the seven churches as I was guided to explain are not all of the Body of Christ. They may have been, but they are no longer. It is this factor that caused this person to become so zealous.

Let me now restate that part of the podcast which made this person to enter into sin and cause for themselves a greater burden upon their soul, it is the fifth letter to the churches:

Revelation 3:1-6 – “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. 4 You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ‘

What is important at this very moment:

This is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars: “I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive—but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is almost dead. I find that your actions do not meet the requirements of my God. Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly. Repent and turn to me again. If you don’t wake up, I will come to you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief. Yet there are some in the church in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes with evil. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine. Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.”

This is addressed to those that have embraced the false teaching of “once save always saved.” The very first sentence says volumes “you have a reputation of being alive – but you are dead.”

A blanket statement that their names have been blotted out of the book of Life. A power given to Jesus Christ and a power He does use. Many are those that embrace the lie and with zealousness attack those that have shown patience and love in trying to help them awaken to the truth, by showing them the Truth, who is Jesus Christ our Savior.

I have done past podcasts on this very letter. One of them is (podcast #75 – Sardis)

Within these studies I establish an important fact from the words of the Glorified Jesus Christ:

Revelation 3:5 – He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

“I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life.”

I have broken this verse down into the Greek and explained that this is one of various verses within the Bible that makes it very clear that the teachings of “once saved always saved” is false. However, I will restate the important word in this sentence:

Blot out – 1813 – to smear out, that is, obliterate, erase, wipe away

Christ Jesus was given the ability to not only add names to the Book of Life but to remove them as well. This means that salvation can be lost. So, you cannot always be saved.

These are the words of the Glorified Jesus Christ. To deny these words is to deny He who spoke them.

Matthew 10:33 – But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

To be denied to God means again you cannot continue in salvation.

This is sad, but it is Truth.

Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

If you do not feel pain then you did not hear the true word of God, but a false teaching. For a false teaching is people pleasing as witnessed with Galatians 1:

Galatians 1:6-10 – I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News 7 but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ. 8 Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. 9 I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed. 10 Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

Those that seek to please people teach things like you cannot lose your salvation. While Christ Himself said this:

John 15:1-6 – “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

You cannot be a part of the Vine unless you are born again. Yet, Christ makes it very clear that a branch upon the Vine can be removed and cast into the fires of damnation. These are again the Words of Christ.

So those that challenge and attack. Do not challenge and attack the person saying the Truth, but He who first spoke the Words. This is what is truly and completely sad.

They attack God with such vehemence. Because they sorely wish the words that counter the lie, they have embraced, to be wrong. Yes, I said they attack God, through His Son our Lord Jesus Christ who asked God to send us the Comforter who is the Holy Spirit. Because a human speaks, they are blinded to the truth that it is God they attack.

But yet there is need for more verification.

When these people attack. They do so in not a very kind manner. What does the Bible say about this?

We can look to two letters:

Galatians 5:19-21 – When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

When those that attack the Word of God because it does not fit into their area of comfort they do so in hostility, and they resort to quarreling displaying outburst of anger. Thus, causing dissension and division. All of this is evidence of what? That they follow their sinful nature. Yet more evidence that salvation is dying within them.

They are obsessed with disputes and arguments over words. Yet when they feel they are victorious in their attacks against God they show pride.

Do they not see that they are not right with God?

No, they do not, most refuse to give way to the Truth.

Here is part of that Truth:

Isaiah 66:24 – “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

Anger rises once again. Shouting is going on that I am saying they are destine for the lake of fire. Did I say that? Did I imply that?

No. that was their own guilty conscience.

What else does the Bible say?

Romans 2:1-11 – You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. 2 And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. 3 Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? 4 Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? 5 But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 He will judge everyone according to what they have done. 7 He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. 8 But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. 9 There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. 10 But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism.

These words were written to those that professed to being “Christian.” It is made clear that they too will face God’s judgement if they continue to live in evil. Once again backing up the words of Christ Himself.

It is time to repent. It is time to live like true Christians. For Jesus Christ is soon to return, and if you wish to make that first rapture. You must make yourselves truly His followers.

God Bless

Discussion

Being in the last days, as we are right now, an important statement is made in these verses:

1 Peter 4:17 – For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News?
God is passing judgement upon all that profess to being “Christian” at this time. If you are not going through some type of trial or tribulation, then you are not suffering as Christ did.

What does this imply? I will allow you the listener or reader of this podcast to come to that conclusion.

What is important?

Coming to know the true Word of God by reading it for yourself. Some may have their trails as they read the Bible for themselves. They will find that things they thought were true wasn’t. Last week I listed ten false teachings. Most of them embraced by millions that profess to being followers of Christ.

Knowing we are right with God can only come with studying the Word of God. Coming to know that for most of the time Christianity has existed the teachings given by men do not match the Word of God. This is witnessed in many actions that became part of History. The Crusades, the conquest of the Americas are just two examples. Another is those that seek to have their names go down in history. When the Bible makes it clear that this earth’s past will never be remembered.
The seeking after wealth and comfort, as well as seeking after a place in history has been a main stay within all of humanity for centuries, yet the Bible says this about those that seek to have their names remembered as well as to be rich:

Isaiah 65:17 – “Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore.

James 5:1-3,5 – Look here, you rich people: Weep and groan with anguish because of all the terrible troubles ahead of you. 2 Your wealth is rotting away, and your fine clothes are moth-eaten rags. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. The very wealth you were counting on will eat away your flesh like fire. This corroded treasure you have hoarded will testify against you on the day of judgment….. 5 You have spent your years on earth in luxury, satisfying your every desire. You have fattened yourselves for the day of slaughter.

“This corroded treasure you have hoarded will testify against you on the day of judgment.”

These last verses were spoken to those that called themselves the followers of Christ. Therefore, which day of judgement is being referred to here?

Matthew 7:21-23 – “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord!

Revelation 20:11-15 – And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. 12 I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. 14 Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. 15 And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

At this time though we are not to that point. Most still have time to correct themselves:

Revelation 18:4 – Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, “Come away from her, my people. Do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her.

The sins of the City of Babylon are not just seeking after riches and trying to gain a place in history. It is also living like those in the time of Noah and of Sodom and Gamora. Many that profess to being the term “Christian” embrace those sins that caused the flood and the destruction of those cities that lived in so much sin that God destroyed them in fire. A precursor to the fate of those left behind that take the mark and are here after the Holy Spirit is removed from this earth and the antichrist is revealed.

What are these sin?

Any sin that will not allow people entrance into heaven.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 – Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

The obvious sins, many say with all their hearts, they do not do. This may be true. I do not know the hearts of my fellow humans. I only know my own. I know the struggles that I suffer. I know how Paul felt.

Romans 7:18-19 – And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. 19 I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.

If you do not feel this anguish within your life. How can you say you have a repentant heart?
Think on that a moment.

Paul the thirteen apostle. Chosen by Christ Himself to teach the Gentiles of God and His Son. Yet he felt like nothing good was within him.

Why?

Because he truly understood the human heart. He was born into religion. Raised in religion. He became a Pharisee. He thought himself righteous and special, to the point that he hunted down and slew Christians.

I know many that profess to being “Christian” and they look down upon their fellow human. They think themselves greater, better, blessed. Yet they do not know they just announced to the world that they are themselves Pharisees. They do not realize that compared to Jesus Christ Himself they are wrenched and miserable.

Why?

Because we live in corruption.

We live in sin. We can never be rid of it, and any who say otherwise are teaching a false gospel. Yes, we are forgiven by Jesus Christ. Yet the struggle never ends within us. Paul proved this in those verses from Romans.

Anyone who believes and thinks themselves perfect do not have a repentant heart. If any thinks, because they have God within them, they are privileged, do not understand the Bible.

Yes, we have the Holy Spirit within us if we have been filled, but this shouldn’t cause us to believe we are special. This should cause us to be cautious and afraid to enter into sin. For we are told not to tarnish the Holy Spirit, for when we stain the Holy Ghost we tarnish Christ we tarnish God.

Does this not give you fear of the wrath of God within your own heart?

Well, it should, this is something that Paul himself knew and acknowledged to the world in the verses we will once again read:

Romans 7:18-19 – And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. 19 I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.

This is said in Galatians:

Galatians 5:16-18 – So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. 18 But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses.

Two things need to be said from these verses.
1) If you don’t feel conflict within your soul, then you do not seek to be Christ-like.
2) If you are not directed by the Holy Ghost, you are answerable to the laws of Moses.

So, any who say we can do things like get tattoos and call themselves “Christian” are not following the Holy Spirit and so fall under the law which says not to paint our bodies, and if what I just said upset you. You need to remember the verses from Galatians, which were read earlier. So, I will restate them:

Galatians 5:19-21 – When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

I have met many that call themselves “Christian” and they display many of these behaviors. However, they make little effort to remove these from them. for they themselves see that they are holy. Oblivious to the truth that Christ Himself will deny them when they stand before they Great White Throne Judgement in total bewilderment.
Repent for His return us nigh.

God Bless
