When you turn to God, if you turn to God. What do you say?
Do you say: “Thank you Lord for you have given me another day.” Or do you say something along these lines?
Well that folks is the wrong statement.
That is you centered. Are we not to be God centered?
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment.
Hmm.. Appears to be the correct answer.
Then should you not be saying to God:

“Lord, I have awaken to a new day. Guide me toward that which you wish me to do, for I as of yet have not accomplished your goal for my life.”
