Discussion

Today’s message will not even be acknowledged by many who listen or read this.

Why?

Mainly because they think they are right with God. But this is the furthest thing from the truth. They are in actuality the lukewarm. (Revelation 3:15-16)

In Hebrews chapter six the writer of this letter says this about the basics of the teachings of laws and rules of the ability to follow God:

Hebrews 6:1-3 – So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. 2 You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.

However, the person then goes to say this:

Hebrews 6:4-6 – For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come— 6 and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.

Let that statement sink in.

For it verifies that someone can loss their salvation.  When taken in conjunction with the previous verses… as it should be anyway. We gain insight as to why they have lost their salvation and have become unable to see it or return to God.

Per their perception they are still within their salvation. Yet they live of, and within the world. Thus, becoming the lukewarm, and then being spued out of the Body of Christ. (Revelation 3:15-16)

Now I know many will challenge what I have just stated. I understand that. That is the issue with what caused the verses in Hebrews to be written on the first place. Many have truly experienced salvation. Many believe they are all set for eternity.  Yet, as Hebrews, John 15 and verses in Matthew show this is not how it truly is.

Now I am going to read from 2 peter the second chapter.  There are two references here.

The first:

2 Peter 2:1-3 – But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. 3 In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed.

The key statement in these verses:

“And even deny the Master who bought them.”

In the KJV is says:

“Even denying the Lord that bought them.”

Once again verifying that salvation can be lost.

Now to look at the second set of verses in this chapter:

2 Peter 2:20-22 – And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before.

21 It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. 22 They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.” And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”

Now again someone will protest with statements like: “Well they were never saved in the first place.”

Those who say these words have just committed a grievous sin.

Romans 10:9-13 – If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” 12 Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”

As Paul continues after these verses that shows if someone asks, they are saved. He talks about how Israel rejected the truth. As a result, the nation of Israel was removed from the world. Yet, once again Israel exists. Why? Due to God’s promises to Abraham. But that is a different discussion. What is important to this topic is that there are those out there that belief Israel is no longer under that promise and have been cut off. That is the furthest thing from the truth. They just have a longer and harder road to travel than Christendom must follow. Those that say Israel has no part to play in God’s plan are teaching a false gospel.

But back on topic.

Any who asks Jesus to be their Savior is saved. Yet, they are like newborn babes. Vulnerable to listening to false and misleading teachings. Teachings that make them think that they can live their lives as they always have and still be welcomed into heaven.

True Christians cannot be a part of the world. I know this full well for I have lived the road downward. But only through God’s love for me was I finally able to awaken to the truth. God had to slap me down to make me awaken. I had lost most of my possessions and even lived in a hotel room with my ten-year-old son.

But I finally listened to God.

As a result, I started my blog which has led me to making podcasts. Ever growing in my calling as a teacher of the Word of God.

The Word must be taught completely and accurately. People must come to know that they must change how they live. No longer seeking after money. For money is the world. Jesus makes it clear you cannot serve two masters. It must be God or money.

Matthew 6:19-24 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. 22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is! 24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.

The moment someone keeps after money yet professes to being “Christian” they have become the lukewarm. Who as a result, are seen as worse than those that deny God.

Get that imagery into your head.

Someone who openly says they hate God. Say for example someone that worships the Devil and kills animals on an altar are seen as greater than those that say they are “Christian” and live in luxury. Because luxuries are for glory in and of the world. Not from God. (1 John 2:15-17)

It is made clear by Jesus Christ. We should only seek after treasure in heaven. Any wealth that is given us beyond the basics needs is ALL God’s. And is to be used for His glory not our legacy or our comforts and leisure.

2 Corinthians 9:6-15 – Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 9 As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” 10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. 11 Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. 12 So two good things will result from this ministry of giving—the needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God. 13 As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. 14 And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you. 15 Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!

In past studies it has been established that God prefers us not to seek after the things of the world. However, in verse eight the implication is just the opposite. More verses say to seek after God’s realm than humanities. That is even seen here when taking all these verses together in a fashion. As fortified by 1 John 3:17

“If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?”

True enrichment is not worldly wealth but blessings from God. Not stored here on earth but in heaven. (Matthew 6:19-24) It is made clear that worldly wealth known as money is another god. That is why it is important to shed the excess to those that are in need. As is made clear in 2 Corinthians seeking after what is righteous is more important than holding on to that of the world. This is accomplished by doing as these verses state to give freely of the excess given unto us by God for His glory. For that is the true and only purpose of anyone given more than they need.

I will end with these verses for you the listener and reader to ponder:

James 5:1-3 – Look here, you rich people: Weep and groan with anguish because of all the terrible troubles ahead of you. 2 Your wealth is rotting away, and your fine clothes are moth-eaten rags. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. The very wealth you were counting on will eat away your flesh like fire. This corroded treasure you have hoarded will testify against you on the day of judgment.

God Bless

All are given a chance to acknowledge there is God

I heard a question today, that I know needed a response, however the person asking it would not understand the reply. To paraphrase:
“Does being spiritually dead make you blind to the truth of God?”
My response starts in Romans 1:
18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
At some point in everyone’s life they will see without a doubt that God is real. Now look at verse 21 through 23 once again. In the KJV the word “vain” is used.
Vain – mataioo` – I become vain
Vain – excessively proud of or concerned about one’s own appearance, qualities, achievements, etc.; conceited: (per Dictionary.com)
Conceited – the habit or attitude of thinking yourself better than others, even when there is no reason to think so (per Cambridge Dictionary)
Each individual can make a selfish, self-serving view and causes it to reflect themselves and state that is what is real, when in reality they were to say: “This is God.”
An example: Penn Jillette once made a comment of watching a sunset at a beach and a nearby couple said. “How can someone watch this and not believe in God.” He said he could. Now from what I understand Mr. Jillette is a nice person. This however does not change the fact that he was given an opening by God to say: “God you are real.”
This is the type of opportunities that are given to all.
Why?
For our judgment due to free-will does not come directly from God. For we are our own judge and jury. God has shown us “He is.” Yet people would rather worship themselves and as is shown in this first chapter of Romans, people live in sin willingly and joyfully. So much so, they encourage others to join them.
People pass judgment upon themselves. So on that day that they stand before the Great White Throne Judgment they will have no excuses. Realizing they have chosen their own eternal fate in the creation of God.
This is why Jesus Christ Himself made it very clear to the lukewarm. For the lukewarm are liars. Not only to the world, but themselves, and it will be these that weep and gnash their teeth on the fateful day. This is why the lukewarm are seen as worse than those that see there is a God and reject Him. The lukewarm, the hypocrites, the liars are seen as inferior for they lived of the world and for the world, but told all they served God and so led others into damnation and pain and suffering.
Revelation 20:11 – And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8 – But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

“Join us in our sin” is all that is being spoken by many

Re-post
These are the words of many. They do not understand how we cannot compromise our faith in God. They are not seeing that it is they that turned their backs upon God.
In my last two post I have spelled out where I stand in the current election. Most are blaming those like myself that are standing upon our faith in God over their desire to be seen as right.
I have pointed out that Donald Trump is a false teacher and is a world leader. I have pointed out that from the words Jesus Christ Himself (Mark 10:42-45). The true Head of the Church, that we are commanded by our faith in Him and His Father the Creator of the universe, to ONLY seek out servant leaders. All those that made it clear and even stated that they were “servant leaders” were resoundingly reject by most that profess they are “Christian.”
Just because someone claims to be “Christian” does not make them one. It is their actions. It is both faith and works. It is not faith alone nor is it works alone for faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26). This was a time when both faith and works were required by those that professed to be “Christian.” Faith that God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ could heal this shattered nation. A shattering that was caused by those that now deny that they even voted for the current president of this nation. I listen everywhere and can find none that openly admits they voted for the man now in the white house that profess to be “Christian,” yet I know many did. Through works they were to follow the teachings of the Bible they profess they are following and vote for a “servant leader.” Yet they did not follow the works required by the verses of James 2. This is how they should have been voting the moment they accepted Christ as their Savior, yet they have not.
They are now in the same group of people that are now trying to shame those like myself that will not turn from Jesus and His instructions. They had their chance to truly follow God and they say now you must follow us into damnation. Yes I said damnation.
Now the anger comes to the forefront. It is an anger that comes not from being right. It is an anger that comes from being afraid.
“Could he be right?” Somewhere deep inside their conscience comes the words.
My answer is this. I am not right, nor am I wrong. It is the Word of God that is right. I refuse to turn from it. I will not abandon God. I will not turn from my Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. It is their choice that they belief they know better than God.
God’s judgment for this nation will continue and it will be worse. What can change it?
REPENT. Turn away from the world and the worldly. Return to God. Return to Jesus Christ.
Is there time to get someone into the white house that is a “servant leader?” I honestly do not know. Personally I doubt it, but that would be me limiting God.
Do I see those that call themselves “Christian” turning from their lockstep behind the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party? No, which is truly sad for due to their free-will actions they are showing they no longer bear fruit for the Vine (John 15).
Understand this. Those that called themselves “Christian” and were warned not to listen to the lies and not to fall for the showmanship yet they still did disobeyed the direct words of Jesus Christ Himself from the books of Mark 10:44 and Matthew 20:27. They have disobeyed Christ Himself. They have sinned.
I am not perfect, nor will I ever be until I put on the eternal body, but I will not disobey Christ if I can help it. This I can help. This I have a say so in due to free-will. I pick Christ. If that means that this nation must loss the Supreme Court to those that will continue to no longer follow the constitution of this nation. If that means that this nation must suffer greatly under those left running. Understand this. It is not the fault of those that are choosing to stand with God. It is not the fault of those choosing to stand with Jesus Christ.
It is the fault of those that turned to Donald Trump as their savior when they at one time professed Jesus Christ to be their Savior. So they cannot ask those that choose Christ to join in with them in their sin and they must accept that those that choose God, choose righteousness over sin.
If you cannot accept this concept or understand what I just said and are calling me an idiot, are calling me ignorant, are calling me crazy, and are calling me a wacko. Then understand this. If those that are saying these words at this very moment or words that echo the meanings of these words. Understand that they do not know the Bible. Understand that they may not truly know salvation. Understand that they may stand before Jesus Christ one day and He will turn to them and say:
“I never knew you.”
Matthew 7:20 – Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
2 Timothy 4:1-5

Today 2000 years ago nearly half His human experience was over.

At nine Jesus knew the truth. He knew the Bible so well that he awed the Scribes and Pharisees with His knowledge and insight into the Word of God as the Israelites knew it at that time.
Yet today this very day two thousand year ago he walked upon the hills around Nazareth. He talked to His half-brothers and sisters. He talked with his mother and step-father. I honestly don’t know when Joseph died, so I really cannot say Jesus was able to talk to him, but we know Joseph was alive when Christ was nine.
We know that seventeen years from now those that knew Him most everyday rejected Him, even His half-siblings, for it is not until after His resurrection that his brother James comes to accept Him as the Messiah.
He already knew who His true Father is. Yet the evidence due to the rejection by those that knew Him most was that He did not show arrogance in anyway His entire time upon this planet. He showed humility His entire life, yet was wiser than any of the elders of the Jewish faith.
He never sought after riches for it is plainly seen that He was poor His entire life. It is plain to see that He never mentioned that He was the Son of God until the appointed time, for to have done it at any other time would most likely have led to stoning. For His fate was not to be stoned, but much worse. He was to be crucified, which is more heinous of a fate. For that fate was to redeem even the most odious of sins.
He knew even now two thousand years ago that He was to hang upon the cross, yet He kept quiet. He kept silent until His Father told Him it was time.
Why? Because He loves that which His father loves, which was all of His creation, which also included all of us up until the end. Each and every person is beloved by God. However not every single person loves God or His precious and humble Son.
Even today this very day many say to His sorrow: “I reject you God.” Not aware of what they are truly saying for they have not been told the truth.
Most in this world listen to the lies that make them happy in this moment, in this now, in this temporal reality that is only meant for this very moment. The very idea of that there is a God or is there not. Do I wish to server Him or do I deny Him.
Too many choose to deny Him. Yet even more choose to serve Him and in turn choose to deny Him. Of this latter group I feel the most sorrow and pain for they walk about thinking they are one with God as they live their lives in this world unaware that they are dead to Him, for He has spat them out for their betrayal. The betrayal by the lukewarm.

Arrogance

When those that practice evil reach a point where they do not care if they let all know that they are doing evil, and they appear to get away with evil, it is a sign of true and complete arrogance. More and more this is becoming prevalent in those that seek to run the United States.
If you have ever watched the movie “Mr. Smith goes to Washington” you would have seen this very behavior. What is amazing is that this fictional movie made in the 1930s, but actually was based in some facts of the time, would come full circle and become rampant once again. It is seen in all that are in Washington and seek to rule the common folk of this once proud nation.
It was seen this last week on the day after the Fourth of July. A day that was once a celebration of this nation’s freedom from this very tyranny is now tarnished and misrepresented. As of this last fifth the true meaning of this day is lost to those that have no true understanding nor desire to seek understanding of what freedom is.
The fifth of July of this year should go down throughout all history as the day the death knell of the former United States of America died.
Now we are in a new country. A country that has those that seek to be like those in power. Yet it is not even 1% of the population that reach this “goal.”
Now I placed the word “goal” in quotation marks for as I have been teaching several times throughout the last few years I have posted this blog, that to seek after anything within this temporal plain of existence, especially anything that offers tremendous earthly rewards is actually a near guarantee of damnation that will last billions upon billions of year. Yet those that celebrated the fifth will laugh and scoff at this very statement I just wrote above. Why? Because they do not know the Bible. They do not know God and they definitely do not know the true image of Jesus Christ.
They have been twisted and manipulated to thinking all there is, is this few short years within this life they now live. They have been twisted to think all must revolve around them. Yet it in no way will for those that never reach the point of control and power. Yet they allow themselves to think they have power and control when it is they that are being controlled by the puppet masters of damnation that are of the less than 1%.
What they should truly do is seek out a Bible and to REALLY read it. I do not mean pick a verse here or there and apply these verses wrongly as most do. I mean read it. Study it. Seek the original meaning of the words as they were written two thousand years ago and more. Come to see that the Bible is true. For it never contradicts itself even though the very first word written down was place upon paper thousands of years before the last one was written.
This can only come from one source, not hundreds, and that One is GOD.
The Bible makes it clear that those that seek the highest point of control and power in this reality will be the lowliest being in the eternal existence. It is shown within the Bible that those that are in power and lie, murder, and subjugate will be destroyed. And those the gleefully and willingly follow them will be cast down with them to eternal sorrow and agony.
So go ahead celebrate your “victory” over what is true and righteous, you that seek after worldly rewards and praise. Even though in your eyes it appear that you are “true and righteous.” I dare you. I challenge you to read the Bible. In both King James and New Living Translation. I dare and challenge you to go to Bible Hub at biblehub.com and study the true meaning of the words. To see that those that seek after wealth and power will find it harder than a camel to go through the eye of a needle. To see that the Bible states that ALL liars will go into the pit of fire to eternal pain and agony that will never end for billions upon billions, upon billions of year. To see that Bible says that those that seek after money will not serve God, but despise and that they will willingly go into the pit of fire joyous of their choice to defy God to their own doom. I dare you.

Christ knew His rejection would not only be by the Israelis

Jesus know that in time even those that accepted Him would reject Him. Now I do not mean those that lived in the early centuries of Christianity, but those in this present time of Christianity.
More and more are turning away from Christ. More and more are saying they can live in sin and still call themselves a child of God. More and more outright deny He ever was or for that matter that there is a God. Then there are those on the other extreme that worship he that sought to take God’s place and was cast from heaven with a third of the angels that decided to follow him. They too suffering from a lust of the flesh and of the juices fermented fruit.
The Bible tells of this time and of the blindness that is within it. The Bible tells of those that follow sin yet sing the songs of praise to God and His son, yet they will not realize the truth. The Bible says there will be those that tell the truth and they shall be laugh at and ridiculed, just as Jesus was laughed at and ridiculed.
The Bible says that when this happens His return shall be near, so take heed and listen. Look past those that laugh and call those like myself nut cases and crazies. Implying that we are like those dirty and tattered people hold up the cardboard signs saying “The end is near repent.”
For the end is near. Will it be tomorrow? Will it be this month? Will it be this year or the next or the next? We do not know for sure, but this we do know. There are things within the Bible about this time. Prophecies that are becoming fact. Signs that are becoming truth.
Are you sure you wish to reject Christ at this time?
