All will be tempted to sin, but…..


First and foremost people need to remember, or if they never knew, come to know that the entire New Testament was written for those that had already asked Jesus Christ to be their Savior and Lord.
Even though saved and born again anew in the Holy Spirit, we are all still tempted to sin. For Satan takes great pleasure in turning those that have chosen Christ to falter and fall away as is born out in the second chapter of the second letter of Peter.
It must also be remembered that Peter is not the only one to speak of those of the Body falling into “death.” James did as well:
James 1:11 – For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Understand fully that by allowing temptation of sins to have power over you, which places the desire and the lust of the sin, to outweigh your love for God that it will result in your separation from God forever which the true death is.
Millions today think themselves alive in God, but in reality they are dead to Him, for to them the sin is more important than their Creator. For we are in the times of the lukewarm, which is the sign of the soon return of our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.
His return though will be presided by trials, tribulations, and great suffering. Numbered amongst those suffering will be those that thought themselves alive in Christ, but on that glorious, yet horrifying day they will see some about them called into heavens to meet Jesus in person, yet they will still be here. Shocked and bewildered, not fully understanding that is was their choice that left them here upon this planet. Why? Because they choose that which is here over the manifest glory of God and His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Tablets of stone


It is said that when Moses came down from Mt. Sinai that the Ten Commandments were written upon stone tablets, what many do not realize is that it was not just the commandments but the entire book of Leviticus as well. This was not just done to show God’s power but to show that these commandments and laws are unchangeable by humanity.
Yet today that is exactly what many are doing. Taking a chisel to the tablets so they can picking and choose what they are to follow and obey and what they do not wish to follow they are chiseling out. The thing is the chisel leaves no marks upon the stones. The tablets remain unchanged and what is a sin in both the old and the new testaments is still a sin.
Below is a list of sins from the New Testament:
Adultery; Fornication; Uncleanness; Lasciviousness; Idolatry; Witchcraft; Hatred; Variance; Emulations; Wrath; Strife; Seditions; Heresies; Envyings; Murders; Drunkenness; Revellings; Pedophiles; Homosexuals; Thieves; Covetous; Extortioners, Wickedness; Deceit; An evil eye (looking at someone in anger); Blasphemy; Pride; Foolishness

Mark 7
Galatians 5

Sins from Corinthians were those main sins occurring in Corinth.
Sins in Galatians were the primary sins of Galatia.
Sins in Mark were the primary sins in Israel.

Since the sins are not taken away from the tablet, then where must they be removed from? Us, we cannot keep sin within and expect to make it into heaven.
1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived.

A question was asked


Recently Dr. Ben Carson was ask a specific question.
“Do You Think I Chose to Be Gay?”
Dr. Carson’s response was correct: “That is a long discussion.”
This is my attempt to have that discussion. It will be Biblically based, and so many will choose not to listen beyond this point, but I honestly expect that to happen. Many refuse to hear the truth so they can continue to live the lives they have chosen to live because of their own personal, though temporary, happiness is more important to them.
First I need to make something clear. I have had to personally struggle with this life choice myself. Simply, I considered homosexuality, but rejected it.
In Jeremiah 1:5 God said this to Jeremiah: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
Now he was speaking to Jeremiah, but do you think this does not apply to us that God knew us before we were even conceived? That answer is yes God knew all humanity before it was conceived and before we were born. But what does that mean?
In Hebrews 10 it spells out what Jesus Christ did for all sinners that accept Him. That their sins are no longer remembered and they can stand boldly before God.
This means that upon birth God can no longer see us but only our sins and God can no longer see us due to being then exposed to the corruption caused by Adam and Eve. Then once we accept Jesus as our savior those sins are forgotten and we are able to stand before God and be seen.
In Deuteronomy 6:4-7 it says this: Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Proverbs 22:6 says Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
So in the womb we are known by God and so are truly and completely sin free. When we are born we are exposed to sin. So God tells us to train our children in the ways of the Bible so when they reach the age of accountability they will not depart from God.
Now at this point there are those out there that challenge that homosexuality is a sin. First I must remind you that I am again coming from a Biblical point of view. Now there are two areas in the New Testament that I wish to address the explanation that per the Bible homosexuality is a sin. The first being the first chapter of Romans. Here it goes into detail of first idolatry and then straight into homosexuality by both females and males. In verses twenty-six and twenty-seven it is stated that women gave up their natural use for that which is against nature, that being reproduction and in the next verse says that men did the same. So by going against nature itself this is considered a major sin for a species must reproduce to continue on. Also who created nature? God.
Now looking at 1 Corinthians chapter 6. First I wish to point out the beginning of verse nine:
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?”
Then Paul goes on and says “Be not deceived:” and lists out those in Corinth that practiced certain sins. Many think “effeminate” means homosexuals, I was one of them. But this actually refers to pedophiles. What deals with homosexuals is “nor abusers of themselves with mankind.” This phrase is actually the Greek word “arsenokoites,” this means homosexuals.
So if homosexuality is listed as “unrighteous” and goes “against nature,” and thus God, it is a sin.
So as I have shown above no one is born a homosexual for we are born pure for God can only see that which is clean. So to say nature made you one is counter to the facts given above. So after someone is born their parents should be instructing constantly how they should live and behave within the guidelines given within the Bible so that they will not sin. So when the time comes and the fork in the road stands before them one leading to sin a.k.a. homosexuality or to follow the teaching of the Bible. It is that persons CHOICE if they will go for the sin or for God. Now if their parents did not teach them correctly, that does not excuse them from the fact that they are in fact following how they were nurtured. For how they think and feel came from human interactions not something “born” within them.
So the answer to this person’s question to Dr. Carson is: Yes you did chose to be gay.
But here is the good news which is why I went with 1 Corinthians 6 last. For in verse eleven it says this:
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”
“AND SUCH WERE,” in the past tense. For as you chose to be gay you can decide not to be gay. Will it hurt? Will there be extreme emotional pain? The answer is yes to both of these questions. For as is shown in John 15 God will purge those He loves, and it will be painful in many cases but once through faith and believe that Jesus Christ is Our Savior and live our lives according to the teachings of the Bible, which means you must become one with nature once again and return to heterosexuality we will make it into the eternal life to come and all the wonders and glory that come with it as long as we strive ever forward to be a true reflection of Jesus.

God so loves you that He gave His only Son


That is the significance of Christmas. It is something worthy of celebration, true, but is also something to cause you to think strongly about.
For what good is it to celebrate if you do not personally know God’s Son.
To personally know God’s Son. You must not only ask Him into your heart, your mind and your soul, but you must honor why you are asking Him.
Humans are a corrupt and base creature. All that is within them is the desire to sin. This is affirmed several times throughout the Bible. Also throughout the Bible is the human desire to be selfish, self-serving and self-pleasing. All these desires lead to pain, anguish and sorrow. Yet that is not what is being taught. People are being taught that giving material objects is more important that the Son of God.
How many of us that are at least teens and at the most old people have every single present given to us at the age of seven?

That what I though. This is what being materialist means. This is what the world can give you. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
But what can Jesus Christ give you?
An eternal life is the serve of God and Jesus. This is not a fairy tale this is fact.
We are promised to see the creation of a new earth where the Oceans are gone.
We are promised to see a city so huge that it will rise into space itself.
We are promised that all our pains and sorrows will be taken away.
Will these promises happen immediately? No.
For we are required to accomplish certain goals.
The primary goal is the strive to live our lives as Jesus Christ did when He walked upon this earth before He took our place upon the cross.
Yes… took your place, my place, your parent’s place, your child’s place upon an object meant to ridicule and disgrace you as you struggled just to breath before you died in agony and pain.
We are to repent of our sins.
To repent means to turn away from, abandon, to end. That means if there is something in the Bible that is called a sin, then you must never do it again. But I tell you this. Time to time you will slip up, because you are a human and you will commit a sin. It will give you true emotional anguish if you are sincere in your belief in Jesus Christ, but if you strive again to be a reflection of Christ you will refrain from repeating this sin. This is an act of repentance.
If someone has said it is ok to live in something that is called a sin in the Bible, then they are not only committing that sin with you but have made themselves more worthy of death in the eye of God then you are as you live in this sin.
For by placing the sin above God you are disobeying God and in so doing reject God

People use the word “Christian” without understanding what it means


Being raised in a society that has its roots in the “Christian” faith does not make someone a “Christian.”
Going to church does not make someone “Christian.”
It is in their behavior and their actions. If they reflect God they will honor God and they must work within the boundaries of the Bible.
It is by asking Jesus to be your savior and committing your life to following all the teachings of the Bible.
It is saying that a sin is a sin and willing to repent, meaning abandon this sin for the glory of God.
That is what it means to be a “Christian.”
When someone says they are “Christian” and would rather gain wealth, rather talk about sports and the latest gossip going on with celebrities. That is called hypocrisy, a sin against God and actually the ultimate insult to Him.
Christ hates it so much he had this to about it:
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

This year of turmoil


As we come to the close of another years, and as we approach the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. I wish to reflect upon what has transpired in the United States in this last year.
As was made clear to Nebuchadnezzar as God placed him through trails and tribulation until he came to the point of saying without a doubt that Daniel’s God was the one and only true God. But not only that, but that any person in political power truly and only is placed there by God allowing them to be there. We must remember that this is true for governments throughout all the ages of man.
That being said, we must come to realize that our current President who through his actions or inactions has nearly single handedly destroyed this once proud nation, has done so not by his hand as I feel he truly believes to be so, but by God’s will.
“Why?” Many that have just read my above words are shouting in anger.
Because God is punishing those that live in this nations for forgetting where our “pride” came from. It was in the belief in God. That we as a nation severed and honored God. There will be those that shout out that this nation caused slavery is that by God? The answer is no that was by human greed and avarice. It was by the actions of the believe in God that actually caused the end of slavery, but due to the sins of humanity that had caused slavery a blood offering was required and so we had the Civil War as a result. Did that end human’s mistreatment to other humans? No, for as long as humanity lives within a corrupt body we will, especially when not taught correctly, hurt other humans.
But it was due to our faith in God that empowered and enabled us to end Hitler who was slaughtering millions just for the belief that a select few were better than the majority. This same mentality was seen in the U.S.S.R. and is South Africa, and it was through our belief and faith in God that helped us to achieve these goals of causing change to the former Soviet Union and in the government of South Africa.
But in this year we have seen the fruits for turning from God ripen and bear corrupt fruit. For God is now yelling at us to return to Him. To acknowledge Him as Lord over all that we do and say, but humanity has forgotten the true meaning of the Bible within the borders of this once proud nation. Now we are the laughing stock to the entire world and those that once feared us due to our faith and believe in the one true God have risen up. For when no strength is seen is when those that are petty selfish, and self-serving come into the light. Not only in violence but in a totally disregard for what is morally right in the eyes of God. It is when the “bullies” come out to play and shove around those they see as weak and ignorant.
They see Christianity as weak so they seek to force it out. They see the populous is weak for they allow those that are abusing the law to do as they so please even though what they are doing is against the law. But since the “bullies” shout and stare those down that challenge them, what was the law is no more. What was good in the sight of God is now seen as corrupt and ugly, and those the sit in their homes complaining yet have not raised a hand or a voice to stop the “bullies” are labeling themselves as what they truly are. Traitors to the Creator of all there was, is, and ever will be.
As we look about at all the bloodshed that has passed this last year. More blood than has been spilled since the Vietnam War, and more innocent blood then has been shed since World War II, who is to truly blame for the hardships this nation is not suffering?
Only those that do not stand up for the Creator. Only those that do not stand in the middle of the street and shout at the top of their lungs: “NO MORE!”
Only when those that say a sin is a sin and you must leave sin behind or suffer eternal torment, actually say it to the face of those that truly live in sin.
Once that occurs then, just maybe, just maybe God may save us from ourselves.
End Political Correctness for it is not correct and is a sin against God.
Remove those that wish to remove God from our Nation. For the First amendment says that the government cannot make religion, but it also says they cannot stop you from freely practicing your believe in God. So by removing the Ten Commandments from public property, by removing God from school. The government is in violation of the constitution and as the people of this nation we have the duty, not the right, but the duty to end the tyranny that is now within the United States Government.
And it is our duty to remove from office, any that denies there is a God, encourages sin against God and are professed liars. For all these things are a sin against God and per the Bible any that support a sin commit this same sin and must answer for it before God Himself.
So remember, all these horrors we have seen in this nation this year are our own faults and only by returning to God can we end this horror, which will only get worse if we do not beg forgiveness from the Maker of the universe, God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

The sins list in the book of Mark explored


So to round out this look into the sins listed in Galatians, 1 Corinthians, we now move into to the seventh chapter of Mark. Here Christ makes it clear that all sins come from within each and every person. As was covered in the letter to the Galatians our heart or our human nature is in rivalry against the Holy Spirit and since we as Christians are called upon to “walk in the Spirit” we are to call upon Jesus who through the Holy Spirit will allow us victory over ourselves when our base human nature gets the best of us.
What is the most important thing to remember is to do as the Bible asks us to do by walking in the Holy Spirit which will enable us to repent and overcome our humanity.
But since the opening statement is compete on with the list of sins that plagued the Jewish people for the most part:
Mark 7:20 – And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Again we encounter Adulteries, fornications, lasciviousness, murders, thefts and covetousness, please see the two preceding posts for details into these. Please note an important aspect here that you will see common in Corinth and Galatia. That being idolatry, notice that in the Jewish community this is absent. This is due to what happened about six to seven hundred years before hand, which resulted in the destruction of the Temple and the city of Jerusalem. The Jewish people had fallen into idolatry, as is witnessed here, they learned their lesson.
This also tells us that we can overcome our sins, but many, as myself have learned firsthand, we may have to suffer greatly and at great loss to awaken to the truth and not go down the road to sin.
Wickedness – poneria – iniquities – gross injustice – I find it interesting that this one shows up here Christ talking to the Jewish people. For they shall impose a great injustice upon Him by causing His death, as you can see He knew they would do it, but they could not see that they would.
Deceit – dolos – guile, treachery
An evil eye – a) evil – poneros – bad, wicked, malicious, slothful

b) eye – ophthalmos – the eye; fig: the mind’s eye
Simply looking angrily at someone.
Blasphemy – blasphemia – abusive or scurrilous language, blasphemy (cursing)
Pride – huperephania – arrogance, disdain, and haughtiness (thinking one selves better than others)
Foolishness – aphrosune – want of sense, impiety, wickedness – impiety – lack of respect for God: the quality or state of being impious
These sins that I have broken down are sins that many in today’s “churches” suffer from. It is from this mentality that has led to the great falling away from the belief in God. What is worse is that those that fall away maintain these same attitudes that leads them deeper and deeper in their ignorance of God and what He has to offer through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is up to those that see these errors and approach people in humility that can help to change this perspective. But the damage is already done for the most part and only great tragedies are left for many to learn the hard way.

The explanation of sins


In yesterday’s post I went into detail of the sins that were plaguing the city of Galatia. I felt drawn to continue to break down the sins that are also affecting the city of Corinth and the Jewish nation as a whole when referenced in the book of Mark. I will list out Corinth first and if I feel I have not exceeded my personal imposed word limit I may continue straight into Mark, if not I will continue this tomorrow.
So in 1 Corinthians the list of sins vary. As stated in yesterday’s post the reason behind this is that the sins being listed were in general unique for the city being written to, but as we all know are not unique for human kind as a whole, which is why they were also mentioned separately for there was a need to identify them for the entire human race so no one could make excuses as to what this sin or that sin was not listed.
What we must also remember that the base human nature is to live in sin, but we are called to walk in the Holy Spirit which is diametrically opposite that which we as humanity want to do. NOTE: not need to do, but want to do.
Anyway on with the Bible verse:
1 Corinthians: 6:9 – Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
The first three were discussed yesterday so I see no need to reiterate those. Just understand that these three were a common pestilence throughout the gentile world, which is why they were seen so much. So next in line:
Effeminate – malakos – a catamite; of persons: soft, delicate. — Catamite – a boy or youth who is in a sexual relationship with a man. In base terms in today’s world – pedophiles.
Abusers of themselves with mankind – arsenokoites – a male engaging in same-gender sexual activity; a sodomite, pederast
Thieves – kleptes
Covetous – pleonektes – a covetous or avaricious person; one desirous of having more. (examples – expensive homes, cars, exclusive communities)
Drunkards – methusos
Revilers – loidoros – a railer, reviler, abuser
Extortioners – harpax – rapacious, ravenous; a robber, an extortioner
What I find the most amazing was the fact that in Corinth there was a need for an admonition by Paul to “Be not deceived.” Yet here we are today nearly two thousand years after the fact and this same warning takes true meaning in today’s churches.
The statement is clear. None of these that live these sins, or the sins listed yesterday, will be received in heaven, yet many churches welcome these sinners in and say “sure go ahead and live in that sin you’ll still get into heaven.”
As we see here from the Bible itself that by saying, accepting and spreading this lie is actually guaranteeing those that live these sins to damnation. Is this the behavior of those that truly know where they stand with God?
The answer is: No they do not.
Those that truly wish to walk in the Spirit do not hate these people, nor do they wish for them to be damned. They truly desire for these people to know and find God, but this can only be accomplished through true repentance. By fully and completely rejecting this sin and even to the point of entering into a marriage with someone of the opposite sex if they cannot refrain desiring their base want of sexual satisfaction if they are homosexual.
For the Bible makes it clear for those that divorce that it would be best to never marry again, but if you through your weakness can not overcome your desires and enter into sin you must remarry so that you will not be left in sin.
Now here someone will insist that they cannot shed this from them. This is what the Bible says:
1 Corinthians 6: 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
“And such WERE some of you”
This is past tense. They are these things no longer, for they are washed, sanctified and justified in the name of Jesus Christ their Savior.

The call to Biblical freedom and moderation on living


In Galatians 5 we find Paul teaching unto to Gentile Church of several issues they have encounters. One the need or not the need to be circumcised. On that Paul states it was not a requirement and held further that since it came from the Old Testament law you are held to that law if they made it necessary to do it.
Paul does re-emphasis what I like to call the true second command since I feel there has been twelve but people do not wish to acknowledge this even though Christ Himself spoke of this as the greatest commandments. Anyway the second was to treat the neighbor as you would treat yourself. In the Golden Rule model: Do unto other as you would have others do unto you.
Would you degrade or belittle yourself?
Then why do you do so to others?
This goes against God when people do this and is seen as higher than the original Ten Commandments.
What is to follow is the section I have been draw to talk about though:
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
This first part is quite insightful when you really get into it.
First off he beseeches the reader and listener of this letter to walk in the Spirit. This being the Holy Spirit. To allow those partaking of the word to become aware of the difference between that which is the Spirit and thus inspired by God and which is the corrupt and carnal nature of humanity itself. Since all the New Testament were letters sent out to churches of believes in the first century after Christ’s crucifixion we must realize that those hearing and reading this message are Christians being attacked not only by others wishing to degrade and besmirch them, but from the temptations of base human nature. The human nature being seen in the word “flesh.”
It clearly states that when walking in the Holy Spirit it is complete opposite of human desires. He makes it clear that when following the Spirit it allows us to overcome the lusts and you “cannot do the things that ye would.”
In the next verse it round out the give elements of the overall discussion before it:
Galatians 5: 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Then Paul goes into detail on what is seen when living in the flesh:
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
So from the flesh, our human nature, these sins come from. So let’s break each one down so there is no doubt what these sins are and what they equate to in today’s world. Some will be straight forward while others will not be. Hopefully shedding light on the more confusing ones will help people out. In addition others sins are listed in Mark (7:20-23) and Corinthians (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
NOTE: I was once asked why different sins listed and not the same are every time in the different books of the New Testament. At that time I did have an answer. Now I do. It is due to which sins were the most prevalent for these communities to which these letters and gospel were covering. Mark the Jewish community, Galatians to Galatia, Corinthians for the city of Corinth. Each having their own group of major sins which plagued them.
Adultery – moicheia – sex between a married person and someone who is not that person’s wife or husband
Fornication –porneia – harlotry, whoredom (including adultery and incest) consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other this would include also pornography.
Uncleanness – akatharsia – impurity (the quality), physically or morally, not innocent and good: morally pure
Lasciviousness – aselgeia – wantonness, lewdness (outrageous conduct, conduct shocking to public decency, a wanton violence)
Idolatry – eidololatreia – image-worship, worship or service of an image (an image is not limited to a statue, but sports and celebrities)
Witchcraft – pharmakeia – magic, sorcery, enchantment
Hatred – echthra – hostility; by implication, a reason for opposition:–enmity, hostility, alienation
Variance – eris – contention, debate, strife, wrangling
Emulations – zelos – fervent mind, indignation, jealousy, eagerness, zeal, enthusiasm, rivalry
Wrath – thumos – fierceness, indignation, an outburst of passion
Strife – eritheia – (the seeking of followers and adherents by means of gifts, the seeking of followers, hence) ambition, rivalry, self-seeking; a feud, faction
Seditions – dichostsis – division, dissension, standing apart
Heresies – hairesis – a self-chosen opinion, a religious or philosophical sect, discord or contention
Envyings – phthonos – envy, a grudge, spite
Murders – phonos – murder, slaughter, killing

So now as Paul continued, we look and see what the living of the Holy Spirit should appear to be.
Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Who really rejects who God or the people?


There are many that are under this impression that it is God who rejects people. There are also those who are under the impression that God welcomes everyone.
Both are wrong. God loves all and wishes all to turn to Him through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, BUT if you wish to live in sin you are not welcome. It is each person’s choice where they wish to be. If they chose the sin then they reject God. They may think this is not true if they do accept God. Okay, then give up the sin.

That is their response to what I just said. They would rather live in the sin and insist that God take them as they are. Yes I used the word “insist” on purpose.
Just think upon that for a moment. They insist………………..
What is the definition of “insist?”
Well that would be: demand something forcefully, not accepting refusal

WOW!!

That takes some mighty big “courage” to stand up to the Creator and demand and not accept refusal.
What this really says to me is that people have no true concept of who the Creator of the universe really is.
God is not our servant, we are His servants.
God is not our genie, we are here at HIS discretion.
Time to wake up folks. Give up the sin or learn to get comfortable in heat
