Zombies the sequel

As I stated in the first post called “Zombies” was that the popularity of these shows was due to that fact that those watching were in fact themselves zombies.
Now you look at these shows and movies and you see dead and rotting bodies walking about wishing to kill those that are alive so they too can become zombies. What many do not realize is that how these zombies are portrayed in this ugly hideous manner is how millions will look one day and they will be able to see those about them looking just as horrifying
None want to hear or accept this as a reality, but per the Bible it is what the Pit of Fire will look like.
The rewards that are promised to us are of an eternal nature, but most in this world would rather seek the temporal rewards. They seek money, but gold has no value beyond this life we now live. There are those that have been paid millions of dollars but they have even squandered that and all for the glory of the self. While all about them children starve and go cold at night because most think only for themselves and not their fellow human beings who as the Bible calls them are our “neighbors.”
They seek fame and popularity, but the Bible teaches us to be humble. So why is there a need for fame? There is none and those that chase after it are doing so because somewhere deep inside themselves they see the zombies within. They seek after these temporal things thinking it will solve all their issues, but it reality it just makes them uglier.
They seek for a mansion here upon this earth, but what can be found today that was built two thousand years ago that is not falling apart or a ruin or even a mystery that they make up stories about to confuse and bewilder those that do not bother to read the Bible.
Could it be that people are accepting their fate? I hope not.
God’s wondrous rewards ARE worth waiting for. They are worth the pain that living this temporal life gives us. For each trail that we make it through makes us stronger. But we can only achieve true strength through the One who gives us this strength, and this is the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
To be one with Him you MUST repent of your sins and turn from them, no matter how painful doing so could be. Stop seeking after the “riches” of this world, for they are nothing. This life if you are lucky will last 100 years.
Our rewards promised us by God including eternal life will last 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years.
That long…. At least.
So do you really wish to be a zombie and look that horrifying for the large amount of time I just listed or a servant of God?

I see today what Jesus saw when He was amongst us

Jesus as He was coming to the end of His mission on earth was one day confronted by the Pharisees. Having had enough of their “talk” Christ rebuked them:
Matthew 15: 8 ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9 Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.
He rebuked them with Isaiah:
Isaiah 29:13 And so the Lord says, “These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. And their worship of me is nothing but man-made rules learned by rote.
Today I see this very clearly in today’s society. Most go about going to their churches once a week living in their dogmatic rules made by men and think they are good with God. But as you can see above this is something that has plagued humanity for centuries.
Many religions do this. Some teach that Christ’s mother has a special role, but nothing in the Bible supports this. Some say that once you are saved you can never loss your salvation, yet four times the Bible states you can and three of these times straight from Jesus Christ Himself.
Yet none want to hear this or acknowledge that there may be truth to any of this.
Most do not read the Bible themselves they just go off of what they are being told by the person that stands upon a dais every Sunday before them. Forgetting that he too is only human and can make mistakes. Some mistakes that are so drastic people’s faiths are destroyed and others suffer from financial, mental or physical damage caused by these flawed humans they have placed all their hopes and desires into what is said.
The thing is their hopes and desires were not aimed at the correct target. They should have been going to God through His Son our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. For Jesus made it clear that ONLY through Him can you get to His Father, God.
I have yet to hear someone teach that you MUST place God first in all that you do. Many on the dais hardly talk of repentance, and those that do, do it sparingly. Most want to keep you in their church so they give “feel good” sermons meant to give joy to those that have come to hear them.
The last time I heard a preacher speak of damnation I was 17, I am now 56.
So yes I see many that profess to be a “Christian.” I see how they honor God and Christ with their lips yet the next six days are like they never even heard of a church, or Jesus, or God.
They are more interested in their job, getting a bigger and a better home, car, and golf clubs. I hear how they speak more of sports of any type than to acknowledge the glory and salvation that Jesus Christ offers to all that will only listen.
Yet you challenge them on these facts and you are suddenly the pariah, the nut job, the Holy Roller or worse they throw the judgment card. This alone showing how truly ignorant they are of the teachings of the Bible. For to judge someone you must be guilty of the same sin they suffer from. For what Christ was talking about was hypocrisy not judgment.
For in 2 Timothy 4 we are told we are to reprove, rebuke and to exhort our fellows in Christ so that they may become stronger in their faith and believe in the one true God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. This is not nor has it ever been judging when we use the Bible itself as our guide.
It is now that all that call themselves “Christian” and live their faith 24/7/365 to stand and make themselves heard for the end truly is close. How close? Only God knows the answer to that question. Within the Bible though we can learn the signs of what to look for and know that the soon return of the glorified Christ is near. I dare you to find out for yourself, especially if you say you are a child of God yet live the life of the world about you.
Understand that this life we now live offers us no TRUE reward because you cannot take things of this reality into the eternal. So any reward, or happiness that you seek here in this life you now live is not worth the true reward that is to come. For how we live here determines how we are to be rewarded in the eternal life.
There will be many that say “Lord you know me, for I prayed to you, and Jesus will look down upon them and say: “I never knew you.”

God has had enough with the citizens of the United States

That is why for the last eight years this nation has been torn down and torn apart by the current president of this nation. Being one with God and being a leader is extremely important to this nation. This nation was, no matter what you have heard to the contrary, this nation was formed by a Christian people that wish to maintain Christian values in all walks of life:
John Adams
2nd U.S. President and Signer of the Declaration of Independence
“Suppose a nation in some distant Region should take the Bible for their only law Book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love, and reverence toward Almighty God … What a Utopia, what a Paradise would this region be.”
This was the dream but even John Adams knew that human nature would not allow for this “a Utopia, what a Paradise.”
Should we strive to seek after it all the same? Yes we should for that is what the Bible says we are to do. We can no longer sit by and allow those that wish to kick God out of this nation win any further.
God is giving us a wake call. He is shaking this nation to its foundations. Many are starting to awaken, but do they have the right idea on how to pursue what is “right?” To me the answer is no.
It can only be found through faith and a belief in God.
George Washington
1st U.S. President
“While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion. To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian.”
John Adams
2nd U.S. President and Signer of the Declaration of Independence
“The general principles, on which the Fathers achieved independence, were the only Principles in which that beautiful Assembly of young Gentlemen could unite, and these Principles only could be intended by them in their address, or by me in my answer.
“And what were these general Principles? I answer, the general Principles of Christianity, in which all these Sects were United: And the general Principles of English and American Liberty, in which all those young Men United, and which had United all Parties in America, in Majorities sufficient to assert and maintain her Independence.
“Now I will avow, that I then believe, and now believe, that those general Principles of Christianity, are as eternal and immutable, as the Existence and Attributes of God; and that those Principles of Liberty, are as unalterable as human Nature and our terrestrial, mundane System.”
We now once again live under tyranny for many in the Senate and Congress have been there too long. A career politician can easily become corrupt and turn to cruelty without realizing they have down so. It is up to the common man not only to remove them from office but to replace them and refuse to stay in office for more than two terms:
John Hancock
1st Signer of the Declaration of Independence
“Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual. … Continue steadfast and, with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us.”
Benjamin Franklin
Signer of the Declaration of Independence and Unites States Constitution
“Here is my Creed. I believe in one God, the Creator of the Universe. That He governs it by His Providence. That He ought to be worshipped.
“That the most acceptable service we render to him is in doing good to his other children. That the soul of man is immortal, and will be treated with justice in another life respecting its conduct in this. These I take to be the fundamental points in all sound religion, and I regard them as you do in whatever sect I meet with them.
“As to Jesus of Nazareth, my opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the system of morals and his religion, as he left them to us, is the best the world ever saw, or is likely to see;
“But I apprehend it has received various corrupting changes, and I have, with most of the present dissenters in England, some doubts as to his divinity; though it is a question I do not dogmatize upon, having never studied it, and think it needless to busy myself with it now, when I expect soon an opportunity of knowing the truth with less trouble. I see no harm, however, in its being believed, if that belief has the good consequence, as probably it has, of making his doctrines more respected and more observed; especially as I do not perceive, that the Supreme takes it amiss, by distinguishing the unbelievers in his government of the world with any peculiar marks of his displeasure.”
We are warned by the founding fathers that we must keep our eyes upon God and give all glory unto Him:
James Madison
4th U.S. President
“A watchful eye must be kept on ourselves lest while we are building ideal monuments of Renown and Bliss here we neglect to have our names enrolled in the Annals of Heaven.”
We must also remember that this nations Constitution and it’s Amendments were based upon those governing principles that ran the colony of Pennsylvania. These principles were written by a Quaker named William Penn and this is what he had to say:
William Penn
Founder of Pennsylvania
“I do declare to the whole world that we believe the Scriptures to contain a declaration of the mind and will of God in and to those ages in which they were written; being given forth by the Holy Ghost moving in the hearts of holy men of God; that they ought also to be read, believed, and fulfilled in our day; being used for reproof and instruction, that the man of God may be perfect. They are a declaration and testimony of heavenly things themselves, and, as such, we carry a high respect for them. We accept them as the words of God Himself.”
So we must remember that if this nation is to continue to exist, which it is coming close to not existing, we must return to God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
John Jay
1st Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court and President of the American Bible Society
“In forming and settling my belief relative to the doctrines of Christianity, I adopted no articles from creeds but such only as, on careful examination, I found to be confirmed by the Bible.”
So what is United States? What do you choose for our future?

What does it really mean to love your neighbor as you would love yourself?

There is more to it than just applying the Golden rule of “Do unto other as you would do unto yourself.”
It is actually thinking of where you wish to get to in your relationship with God as well and helping others to achieve that same goal.
When you seek to have an eternal life with God you must ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior. You should then in loving your neighbor as yourself seek to have them also accept God as their Savior.
But to be saved you must repent of your sins:
Acts 3:19 – Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away
Repent – metanoeo – I repent, change my mind, change the inner man (particularly with reference to acceptance of the will of God), and repent.
Repent in the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (NTD) is defined as:
“It can then mean ‘to change one’s mind,’……. ‘to adopt another view,’ ‘to change one’s feelings.’”
When taught by Jesus Christ in the Aramaic it goes down to meaning “to convert” and “conversion”
Again from the NTD: “What John advances is the ancient prophetic summons of conversion, for a break with the ungodly and sinful past, for turning to God, because God, active in history, turns to man. But the summons is more categorical than it was on the lips of the prophets, for it stands under the urgency of the eschatological revelation of God. The term which John makes his slogan is familiar to his Jewish contemporaries. It is the epitome of their unwearied and manifold exertions to throw off sin and to fulfill the commandments. But the slogan gives the word a wholly new significance. Conversion is once and for all. It must be genuine and not in appearance only.”
There are many things in what I have just shown from the NTD. When you repent you are to leave your sin behind and never return to it. When loving your neighbor you should seek that exact same thing for them.
Now there are those that have fallen into this believe that “love” is all that is required for humanity to reach God. This came out of the hippie movement in the 1960s. It came from a culture that experiment in drugs and “sexual freedom.” Simply it was born from those sinning and wishing to spread sin.
So how can something that came from sin get you or your neighbor to God? It can’t. Especially when we are told we must repent or convert and leave sin behind.
The Bible shows us what is sin and even tells us outright that some sin especially if people maintain themselves in those sin will not be welcome into the eternal service of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9 – Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
So if you do not wish to live in sin and wish to make it into the eternal service of God how can you allow your neighbor to go into damnation?
If you truly love them you must tell them they sin and get them to repent of their sin never to partake of it again. That to me is truly loving your neighbor. For I would rather have someone I helped join me on my millionth birthday then to allow them out of “love” to instead be cast into the pit of fire and to live in eternal pain and agony.

Goals Christians should seek to fulfill

It is important that those that have asked Jesus Christ into their heart to learn to do several things.
First and foremost we need to go to the two top commandments that very few even know are both commandments and the top ones.
To love God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul. (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:37; Luke 10:27; Mark 12:30)
Simply make every action you do, every word you say and every thought that you have place God at its core. This is also the hardest to accomplish but it is THE most important of all.
To love your neighbor as you would love yourself. (Leviticus 19:9-18; Mark 31, Matthew 22:39; Luke 22:37)
The Golden rule “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.” Would you lie to yourself? Would you steal form yourself? Would you belittle and curse yourself? Then do not do it to others.
Then, of course, follow the other Ten Commandments.
Then we should do what is to follow.
Pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
This means every chance you get where ever you are … pray. It doesn’t mean knell down and pray. It means as you are working, pray. As you are walking, pray. As you are driving, pray. As you cook, pray.
Teach your children of God and the Bible every single chance you get. (Deuteronomy 6:7)
Read the word of God. (Matthew 4:4; Joshua 1:8; Romans 15:4)
Strive to remove sin from your life. (1 John 1:9; 1 John 2:1-2; Romans 6:1-23)
If the Bible says it is a sin then it is one and if you are committing this sin you should do your best through pray and guidance from God to end this sin from your life.
As best you can, remove yourself from those that would tempt you to sin. (1 Corinthians 15:33; Proverbs 13:20; Psalms 1:1)
Follow the laws of the land you live in if they do not promote sin. (Roman 13:1; Titus 3:1)
Like go the speed limit, vote, do nothing that can be called illegal unless it denies you the ability to worship God.

Confessions of a screwed up middle ages man: I am not here to win a popularity contest

I am here to profess God.
I am here to call a sin a sin.
I am here to reprove.
I am here to rebuke.
I am here to exhort.
I am here to be ridiculed.
I am here to be hated because I will not turn my back on God and the teachings of the Bible.
Any that say Christians should improve their image to cause more to like them does not know the Bible.
Any that say God is neutral does not truly know God.
Any that say you can live your life as you see fit per the Bible hates you. (Proverbs 13:24)
Any that truly profess the Bible are seeking God.
Any that truly strive to be like Jesus is a Christian.
Sorry if this is not the popular thing to say or do.
But I do what the Bible says to do and per the Bible it has never been popular since many were killed for doing as the Bible says we should live and act.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: I now see

I now understand the empathetic emotions that the prophets experienced as they tried to speak to Israel and make them aware that they were going down the wrong road. I see the anguish they must have felt at having those they talk to belittle and dismiss what they said.
I see those about me stating and strongly believing they are in good standing with God, then I see things like this last Sunday where all their worship and praise did not go to God, but to a group of men upon a field. The new gladiators of the modern era.
Now I know that we are to live our lives in moderation, but this is not moderate behavior. This is worship, this is praise, and this is glorification. They placed all their emotions into the event. They watched like it was a religious ceremony. Afraid to leave where they were, afraid they would miss something spectacular. Yet it was not the God they profess to service or honor, but other humans.
Yet to them God is great for a few minutes a day, but the rest of the day belongs to them and what they truly wish to worship. They pull out God when it is convenient for them, when they wish to show the world their goodness, their piety. They compartmentalize each part of their lives, only showing that which is important to them at that particular moment. Seeking for their own glory and reward in this temporal time and place.
As they do this they find it unpleasant when someone points out that this is not the true way to worship God. They get upset when they are shown it is not something they can walk away from at the drop of a hat like they do when it come to the things of God. All I can hear is 2 Peter going through my head.
2 Peter 2:18-22 (NLT)
18 They brag about themselves with empty, foolish boasting. With an appeal to twisted sexual desires, they lure back into sin those who have barely escaped from a lifestyle of deception. 19 They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you. 20 And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. 21 It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. 22 They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.” And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”
And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life.
People need to wake up and see where they are heading. In their minds they see salvation and glory, but their actions seek out the rewards and pleasures of the world. How truly saddening it is to have the eyes that see and the ears that hear.
May the true glory of God shine upon as many as possible that will see the true light and turn from the path into the darkness and back to the true light of eternal salvation and reward. Amen.

Confession of a screwed up middle aged man: the corner

As I write this I had just left a situation where I made people feel cornered in their beliefs. I feared their response when I asked a question but included the statement of “yuck … football.”
This set them off for they could not accept that they thought more of a sport than they did of God. So they attacked as I knew they would.
I knew they were not ready for the truth. I sensed it, but they pushed. I told them twice later I warned them, but they were beyond listening at that point.
I was able to reprove, in a way rebuke and slightly able to exhort, but by then they had started using the “judging” card. Unaware of the true meaning of what “judging” really is as I feared would be the case.
By the time it is was done they had shut me down, but seeds were planted, for God wanted that to happen.

She understood

When Jesus walked amongst us his mission was to offer the kingdom of God unto the people of Israel. Finally they reached a point when their acceptance was mandated, but they instead doubted and reject Him. Once this accrued Jesus stopped teaching in open teachings. Instead He switched over to teaching parables. These even the disciples sometimes didn’t understand.
Then one day He came into the area of Tyre and Sidon.
Here a Canaanite woman approached Him and asked Christ to cast a demon out of her daughter. He ignored her. He made a statement that He as there for Israel. Then He spoke a parable:
““It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.”
Now when He spoke other parables Jesus would say. “Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”
This took place in chapter 13 of Matthew
So here we have a Canaanite woman and Christ says unto her a parable and her response is to that parable that though gentiles are dogs do they not eat the crumbs of the bread that fall to the ground.
There is two things of import here. First that she had enough faith to know the words coming from Christ and understand them as well as know that He is the Messiah when she called Him the “Son of David. The second that she, a gentile and a woman, had exceeded those that Jesus had specifically come for. This is why He states that her faith is great, for it was.
There are two major factors we must understand in the last point. First being a gentile yet knowing Jesus is the Christ. The second being that she was female. This is why the disciples ask Jesus to send her away. Women were not thought of as they are today and being a pagan didn’t help. Yet she exceeded all of Israel in her believe in Jesus.
Matthew 15: 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Life is grey…. Really?

I just love when I hear someone say that life is grey and not black and white. By the way that was sarcasm. In actuality it saddens me when I hear these words. Once again it speaks to the lack of Biblical teaching parents are instructed to do within the Bible to their children.
It is this mentality that all is grey that opens the door to sin and the acceptance of sin. I think this is one reason Jesus Himself says that it is worse for those that are lukewarm than it is for those that are cold to Him.
More and more I hear this, and it is even sadder when I hear it come from the mouth of clergy. Those that are to be our mentors, our teachers and our Sheppard.
Now it is every individual’s right to either accept or deny there is a God, but what is more important is that the choice they make be an informed decision. If they do not understand that “if” there is a God that they have the right to understand what their choice will mean on an eternal level. Now I used quotation marks because I have no doubt there is a God, but there will be those that do not believe this because of how they were taught.
Jesus knew this. This is why he taught His disciples how to do things when it came to teaching of God.
The Jewish people knew there was a God, but they lacked in true understanding and knowledge of the Torah. If they had they would not have rejected Him, but they did. This is how it is for those that profess to be Christian today. They have no true understanding of the Bible and what the meaning of our lives are; not only now in this temporal life but in the eternal life to come.
It is when I hear people say that life is grey that I know it is not the right mentality they are living their life under. It is more for their own glorification and not God’s glorification.
It is from this selfishness that Jesus is referring to when He states that all evil comes from within our hearts, for it is true. This is why we need to leave this mentality that the world is grey and return to what we have been told it truly is. Black and white.
Revelation 3: 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
