Review: Wonder Woman (2107) SPOILER

Sorry for this being a spoiler review, but there is no way to review this movie correctly without being so.
It has always bothered me as to why they changed the origin of Wonder Woman from World War II to World War I. I got my answer as I watched the movie with my wife yesterday for she said she wished to see it. The end of WWI revolved in some degree to the Arden Forest, as did events within this film unfold. While WWII’s ending was more complex and more devastating. So I understand their need to simplify due to how they wish to approach this story.
Now their increasing her abilities to god level to me was a major mistake. First off we have to understand that it is becoming more popular within the Christianity to see polytheistic gods as what they most likely really were. The fallen angels from heaven attempt to control and rule humanity. This is given weight by the glorified Jesus Christ Himself in one of the letters to the seven churches ( The Seven Churches (Part 4) – The letter to Pergamum ). So making her the daughter of Zeus per this standpoint makes her the daughter of Satan. However the writers were heading more toward a daughter of THE God. This is played out when she makes her great statement about love.
This shows that this movie was made during the campaign for the President of the United States, and those upon the left thought Mrs. Clinton would at this time be president of the USA. Thus making her out to be the daughter of God. Here is the reason why I say this, and what is the problem with not only Mrs. Clinton, but this film.
In one of Mrs. Clinton’s speeches she said, and I quote: “The greatest commandment is love.” This is a bad interpretation of the Bible and in so doing per Galatians 1:8-9, she is cursed by God. The actual greatest commandment is to love GOD with all our heart mind and soul (Matthew 22:34-38). This means to place God at the core of our daily lives. Not ourselves or anyone or anything else. So this film took on a politic aspect the moment these words lift Wonder Woman’s lips.
The way the origin story, which is the first part of the film, was handled, was done very well. From there on it went downhill. Even the great reveal of Wonder Woman in her full gear walking across No Man’s Land was lack luster and pushed. Like most DC character films and TV shows it did not live up to the expectations and the hype.

The mask that we teach women to wear.

Due to many not truly knowing, teaching or understanding the Bible, women are being taught to wear a mask.
Now what is this mask you ask? Makeup.
They make their hair all fancy in none natural ways. They cover their face in makeup so thick that their true beauty is gone and what is left is a variation of clown face paint.
It is another one of those things where they must make themselves appealing to the world, to the temporal, to the fleeting. A woman’s true beauty will be seen the day they are given their eternal and perfect body. Yet they strive for this perfection in the corruptible. Some that will wrinkle and fade with age as all that is imperfect will do.
In actuality a person’s real beauty does not come from the outside, but from within. If a woman is beautiful within themselves it will shine for all the world to see. There is no need for greasepaint upon their faces. For the use of greasepaint is only good for those that wish to entertain for a brief moment, not to endure for billions upon billions of year.
Seek out the true meaning of the Bible and understand that whatever rewards you seek upon this temporal plain of existence will rot and decay away into dust including the external beauty. Seek out Jesus Christ so that you may see your true beauty that will radiate for all eternity. For we are all promised an eternal body, but few will ever see their true loveliness. The rest will be covered in worm infested burning skin and their beauty will never be seen for they never truly had any in the first place.

She understood

When Jesus walked amongst us his mission was to offer the kingdom of God unto the people of Israel. Finally they reached a point when their acceptance was mandated, but they instead doubted and reject Him. Once this accrued Jesus stopped teaching in open teachings. Instead He switched over to teaching parables. These even the disciples sometimes didn’t understand.
Then one day He came into the area of Tyre and Sidon.
Here a Canaanite woman approached Him and asked Christ to cast a demon out of her daughter. He ignored her. He made a statement that He as there for Israel. Then He spoke a parable:
““It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.”
Now when He spoke other parables Jesus would say. “Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”
This took place in chapter 13 of Matthew
So here we have a Canaanite woman and Christ says unto her a parable and her response is to that parable that though gentiles are dogs do they not eat the crumbs of the bread that fall to the ground.
There is two things of import here. First that she had enough faith to know the words coming from Christ and understand them as well as know that He is the Messiah when she called Him the “Son of David. The second that she, a gentile and a woman, had exceeded those that Jesus had specifically come for. This is why He states that her faith is great, for it was.
There are two major factors we must understand in the last point. First being a gentile yet knowing Jesus is the Christ. The second being that she was female. This is why the disciples ask Jesus to send her away. Women were not thought of as they are today and being a pagan didn’t help. Yet she exceeded all of Israel in her believe in Jesus.
Matthew 15: 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: The Hand of God sent her

I look into her eyes and all I see is beauty.
I look into her soul, see the hand of God, and know that He is real.
I see how she acts and know I am loved.
No other is her equal when compared to those ladies of my past.
She is a star to their candle flame, which can be blown out with a mere breathe.
What makes her find happiness is the same that makes me happy.
What causes her fear causes me fear.
Then we both see God and know that His hand brought us together.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: As I seek

As I look about me for a new mate. I watch how ladies act. I find myself checking their left hand for a ring on a certain finger. I comptemplate how we might progress in our possible future as I am determined to work for only nine more years.
I also wonder if that retirement will be as I hope as I see the nation I call home falling apart about me.
I use to prefer ladies younger than me. Even at one point dating a nineteen year old when I was thirty-three. My last wife was even eleven years younger than me, to be honest. Now though that is not what I seek. Now they need to be much closer to my age. They should be looking forward to their retirement as I am. I so want to travel this country once again. I desire to camp within the Rockies and watch the sun change the shadows upon then as the day passes.
I know there is someone out there. But where? There are so many issues to overcome when growing a relationship. They are challenges I know I can overcome. I could have even stayed with my last wife if she could have overcome her selfish behavior. She did not. The stress she placed upon me would have continued to turn what hair I had left upon my head from grey to white as my beard is now.
How do you find a woman that does not smoke or only care for herself?
Dating sites are a joke because the ladies there are seeking a fantasy they will never find. I still laugh inside as I see that they will only give you the time of day if you look like a superhero, and have all their virtues as well.
Well I have the virtues. I am kind, caring, loving, but I have a beer belly even though I do not drink or smoke. I have worked hard my entire life for the most part. I even have damaged lungs because I insisted on being a hard worker. Yet I cannot get a worthwhile lady to even give me the time of day.
As I have stated before this corruptible body is only a temporary body. Used in this lifetime that will be like a blink of the eye compared to our real life we are promised by God. A life that will last billions of years in a body that will not only look like a superheroes, but also have the abilities of one. To be able to travel in an instant to anywhere in the universe, to be muscular and strong, and yet still have the kindness and caring you developed in the corruptible life. How humbling that will be to know that it took corruption to instill true kindness and thoughtfulness. The good man I am now will be the man then in the service of Christ.
Is it then that I will finally meet my mate or will she already be there at my side from this current life?
