They must question the way they think and live. So they can seek to follow Christ and not the world.

Discussion

This is a message many will not want to hear or even accept. It will hit too close to home. It will make them uncomfortable. Don’t shoot the messenger. But instead listen to God through His Word: the Bible.

First, we must understand the core of the mentality of being a hypocrite. Therefore, we will define the word.

Hypocrite – Someone who says they have particular moral beliefs but behaves in a way that shows these are not sincere. A person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings.

Now this is the label that was given by Jesus Christ Himself to the Pharisees and Scribes. However, the Glorified Christ gave them another name as well.

Revelation 3:15-16 NKJV – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Hypocrites are lukewarm. This is how most that call themselves “Christian” will act and behave just before Jesus Christ returns.

Now this may be a short lesson if this was all there was to see. In fact, most think and see this about what they find in the Bible. It is this short definition that has caused the creation of the lukewarm. Why most that now profess to being “Christian” are the lukewarm.

For they think and care for only one being. They seek the comfort and glorify only one being. Themselves.

Now let us look to the sermon on the mount for more about what defines what a hypocrite is.

Matthew 6:1-4 NKJV – “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

I know of many who make a show of helping those in need. They post it on YouTube. They brag about it on social media. They have their reward. This is hypocrisy even if they profess to follow God or not.

Matthew 6:5-7 NKJV – “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

I know of many people that make a show of praying in public. I know of others who insist upon praying aloud in all things. This is the acts of hypocrites.

Matthew 6:16-18 NKJV – “Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Once again this is something that I know of many that make a show of this behavior or making it known to all that they are denying themselves nourishment. Once again. This is hypocrisy.

  Matthew 6:19-24 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

It is these verses that now create most of the lukewarm. Most of the hypocrites. It is these verses that cause the greatest issue to most at this time. However, to those that question this. We have verification from the Glorified Christ.

Revelation 3:17 NKJV – Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—

This verse confirms those from Matthew. If you doubt that. Let us define the word “mammon.”

Mammon – G3126 – mamónas –  riches, money, possessions, property.

The very thing that Jesus said not to gather unto yourselves, which most now do and have been taught to seek after for generations is hypocrisy. As the centuries have gone by more and more seek after mammon. More and more seek after hypocrisy. Most don’t even know that they do this. Which explains these words:

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

Most believe they live in the light of the Lord. However, since they seek after the world, they live in darkness.

“If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness.”

This is why most cannot see that they are hypocrites. That they are the lukewarm and have been vomited out of the Body of Christ by their own actions and desires. Many hearing this don’t want to even contemplate what is being stated here. For to do so would mean they have been living a lie. Listening to lies. That their family members before them have done the same and are not in heaven waiting for them to join them or even made it into heaven. When in reality they are with Death or Hades waiting to be called out when the Great White Throne Judgement occurs.

What is needed now is to acknowledge that yes you have listened to lies. However, you can change and learn the Truth. Start by accepting. Then continue by changing.

One of the greatest teachings within the NT was given three times in three different gospels.

Mark 10:17-21 NKJV – Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.'” And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

The young rich man followed the commandments. The young rich man thought himself blessed. Christ even looked upon the young man with love. However, he lacks the most important elements to True Faith. To truly attaining eternal life.

“One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

All that have earthly wealth otherwise known as mammon are commanded to sell it all off. Yes all. We are to live off the least for ourselves, because our true riches are not here on earth, but in heaven and the future life that is to come. We are to give those that are True ministers of God ten percent. (Hebrews 7) Then we are to give the rest to those in need. And then use what is left to spread the Word of God.

James 1:27 NKJV – Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Those that keep their earthly wealth unto themselves. Seeking after earthly comforts into their old age are the ultimate examples of the lukewarm. The hypocrites. Those that are destine not unto salvation and eternal servitude unto God in the new heavens and new earth. Spending billions upon billions of year exploring the new universe. Doing as God commands. But are destine to live for all eternity in the lake of fire, which is located in one spot. Where there is fire and worms that live as long as they. Forever.

Revelation 21:8 NKJV – But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Revelation 20:15 NKJV – And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Isaiah 66:24 NKJV – “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

Abandon what you thought was the truth. Accept the real Truth given to us by God through His Son our Savior Jesus Christ.

Cast off the desires, lusts and luxuries of this world. Sell off that which was never offered by God ever. (1 John 2:15-16) Use your earthly wealth to help those in need. Then spread the True Gospel.

Understand that Paul when he was Saul was extremely wealthy. When he was killed for spreading the Truth he died a pulper. He had used his earthly wealth to learn the Truth and then to spread this Truth to the gentiles, as was his calling.

Your called this moment is to sell off all your earthly mammon and use the excess to help those in need. Then as said a moment ago spread the True Word of God. For time is quickly running out.

Those that now call themselves “Christian” have to come to an understanding. What they must come to understand is how they have been taught and how they have been raised to think. Especially about how to live their lives has been one huge lie.

This last word will cause many to become angry and even decide that they will no longer listen or read what will follow. The moment this thought flashed through their minds it became confirmation that what has been said is the Word of Truth. For further confirmation we turn to the Word of God and to a group that believed they were Christian as well. However, they started to listen to people pleasing messages. Here is the confirmation:

Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The validation when it flashed through their heads could have taken the form of an outburst of wrath. Their thought of not wishing to go further was a type of contention. Because to question what they have always thought to be the truth makes them uncomfortable and ill at ease. So, they see it as a threat to their reality. Therefore, since it is different. Counter to their belief IT must be wrong. For they are special and cannot be seen as in the wrong. For to accept that they are wrong would destroy their life.

That means that this message is not a people pleasing message. This is as most sermons and teachings should make people. Ill at ease, as it should be. If those listening are made uncomfortable then it challenges them to avoid entering into sin.

But to get to the core of this uncomfortable message. Most that now go to a building that calls itself a “church” will never stand in the presence of God in robes of white.

Oh, they will kneel in His presence for all humanity will do this.

Romans 14:11 NKJV – For it is written: “AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL CONFESS TO GOD.”

It is time to face the Truth. It is time to face reality. Most don’t want to hear or accept how things really are and what the consequences are.

Most have embraced the belief that they can live their lives as they want and desire. All they need to do is go to a building called a “church” and they are welcome in heaven.

Why?

Because the person standing before them on the dais said it was so.

They say they follow God and Jesus then watch sports. Spend most of their earthly wealth on their covetous wants and desires. This makes them the lukewarm who are vomited from the Body of Christ. This is a verification they are not welcome in heaven.

Yet they become angry and fight this. For to accept it would mean they, their ancestors and their children will burn in the lake of fire for billions upon billions upon billions of years.

To borough form the movie “A Few Good Men” “You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth.”

This is a true statement. Most buildings that are called “churches” are filled with and run by people going to the lake of fire. For they for the most part were never saved to begin with. And if they are. They are now seen as dead in the sight of God and their names have been blotted out of the Book of Life by Christ Himself.

Revelation 3:1-5 NKJV – “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels..

Christ made it clear that what churches tell you to do in public is what we are to do in secret.

We are to give in secret. We are to pray in secret. We are to fast in secret. We are to downsize.

This is addressed in Matthew 6.

Churches teach people to become hypocrites just as they are. Not realizing they are leading people not to heaven but damnation. This has been done from one generation to the next for centuries. Which brings the reality to these verses.

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

If they don’t teach people to downsize and tell them they can use all their money but ten percent for whatever they want they teach damnation. For Christ makes it very clear to the young rich man.

“Sell whatever you have and give to the poor.”

Most that profess to being a Christian refuse this command. Yet again you can find it in Matthew 6.

Most deny this commandment and in so doing deny Christ. Who says this:

Matthew 10:33 NKJV – But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

So, as is made clear in the Word of God. Most that go to churches will have to stand before the Great White Throne Judgement instead of standing before God in white robes.

Why? because they have embraced hypocrisy. They have turned themselves into Pharisees and scribes.

Matthew 23:23-33 NKJV – “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’ “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?

This is how Christ sees nearly all that now call themselves “Christians.” For they keep their earthly wealth all unto themselves and do not help the needy or spread the Word of God.

Time is quickly running out. They must act now if they wish to not face the judgment that is soon to befall all of humanity that still walks this planet. It will be something none will wish to endure. However, most will reject what is said here today. Many of these will volunteer to enter the lake of fire, than to confess that they have lived in sin.

It is truly and completely saddened that they will willingly chose this fate. However, that is the way it will be from this point forward.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: I find it astonishing

“What is it you find astonishing?” asks you the read.
How those that feel they are up holding Christianity, in their eyes, gleefully supporting a person like Donald Trump.
As has been fully established Mr. Trump is a mere human being with flaws and sins of his own to account for.
But those that call themselves “Christian” and oppose Mr. Trump are not doing so out of hate, nor are the majority of them attacking or judging those that do support this mere mortal.
Here is how I see it from my own personal viewpoint.
I have shown within the Bible that from all that has been shown and seen that Mr. Trump is of the world. I have seen no change in this whatsoever. In fact it has been proven more and more that this is the case. The Bible makes it clear that we are to avoid people like this, especially if we are seeking to have them lead us.
The Bible also shows what we are to look for in a leader that does follow the Bible. This again is fully shown not to be how Mr. Trump acts. If you seek further details look through my past articles to get a more detailed look into these points. I will not bother to restate them now for it will distract from where I am trying to get to with this article.
I will say this. Yes there is a divide that has been made very clear within this election. I strongly and wholeheartedly feel it is due to the coming judgment that is approaching this nation and possibly the world itself.
God has sought in the past to see where those that say they followed Him stood. The uniqueness of this nation’s ability to vote for our leaders is also a tool made by God Himself to judge where the heart of this nation’s people stands. The vote shows where people’s hearts and minds are. Where their understanding of God and the Bible stands. (Those that question that God established how this nation picks its leaders has already shown they know nothing of God so I will not bother to explain my belief in that any further for again that is a distraction.)
When the people of Israel were to make account of themselves it was through prayer, supplication and adherence to the Torah. Time and again they failed at this, turning to live in and of the world and each time God punished them till finally in A.D. 7 0 the destruction of the second Temple and the scattering of the nation throughout the world took place. Ever since Reagan left office each Presidential election that has followed we have progressively gotten a choice of ever worse candidates till we have reached the present selection. The worst of them all to have ever run for this office.
In the last election God made it very clear we had an out, but 54,000,000 people that professed to be “Christian” stayed home mainly due to the fact that a Mormon was the candidate. This nation is now suffering the price for this decision to stay home. Everything that has happened in the last four years is on all the heads of those that stayed home, just because the Republican candidate was not “Christian” in their point of view. Yet they have not repented. They have not turned to God and asked for His forgiveness.
Many here will now protest what I have just stated, especially those that are the ones that call themselves “Christian” and have rallied behind Trump.
Here is the thing.
The mere fact that they have rallied behind this man of the world shows they have no true understanding of the Bible or of salvation itself. Their eagerness to run to this man has shown to not only the world, but to God. That they are blind to the truth. That they are hypocrites and they wonder why the Millennials are turning to Socialism and rejecting God.
What the real problem is, is that neither those that call themselves “Christian” nor the Millennials, for the most part have been shown the real image of “Christianity.”
True Christianity does not seek after wealth or rewards upon this earth. True Christianity does not horde the wealth they have for themselves but willingly share it with those in need, not through taxation or allowing the government to do it, but they do it themselves and willingly. This is the very thing that Millennials are seeking to do by running to Socialism, but they have been lied to on what will come from Socialism. Most are not aware that more humans were killed under Mao and Stalin (over 100,000,000) then have died under any of the forty three President of the United States put together. I am not counting wars. I am counting killed just for not agreeing with those in power.
This is the road that the Millennials are heading us down all due to those that think they are “Christian” when in reality they are not.
What needs to change is that all need to come to a true discernment of who God really is. They need to come to a true understanding of who Jesus Christ died for. They need to came to the point of comprehension that true Christianity is not becoming rich and powerful but living modestly and humbly, placing those in need before themselves, which Socialism may promise by its designed to do, but never has nor ever will achieve, because one main element is missing from Socialism………. GOD.
Whenever humanity seeks to control humanity by stating it can only be achieved by humanity, tyranny, famine and death result all due to what comes from within a human being:
Mark 7:20 – And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. 21 For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. 23 All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”

Tis the season for avarice and hypocrisy

“Such a blunt title from a Christian,” some are saying or thinking as they ignore this post and move on.
Well let’s break down what we are truly teaching our children as we place presents under a tree and ignore the real and true reason what this celebration was about.
Avarice is defined as a strong desire to have or get money, or material possessions. This is becoming more and more prevalent than honoring the birth of God in human form.
Stores started selling Christmas items before Halloween this year and that in itself is pathetic, but what is worse is that people actually went ahead and started buying things.
I have a step-daughter who makes statements like wanting a half a million dollar car is no big deal, and that wanting to gather more and more personal items is more important than anything else. She even thought that her personal possessions would go with her into heaven. We shot that down really fast.
Her mother and I try to get her to understand that this is not the correct way to think. However, in today’s society that is difficult when one day people look down upon Miley Cyrus for gyrating on stages with a blow up phallus, then go back to liking her music, then she proceeds to degrade Christians then makes the song “Silent Night” and again everyone praises her. That is hypocrisy.
It is this mentality of accepting things as they are that is in itself a sin against God. The person we are supposed to be honoring on December 25th. Is it really Christ’s birth day? No one truly knows the answer to this, but what is important is that we do celebrate Him coming into this realm of existence to die upon the cross for each and every person’s sins that is willing to ask Him into their heart.
Is this what we are teaching our children? I know the answer to this is no. First hand I know this.
In my mind I said we will let the presents and Santa go for a few years since they were little and then really explain to them about Jesus and what He has done for us, but did that come out as planned? No.
Now both my adult children are a mess. Am I partly to blame? Yes I am.
That is why it is extremely important to teach them of Christ ever single chance you get, and when is the greatest chance? Now in this season that should be exclusively His and His alone.
It is time to restore what one culture did long ago, so long ago I forget which one it was, but when they placed presents under the tree they would place one there that was not for any but Jesus Himself. Then after they did their own presents they would then go out and find a stranger and hand that present over to them and say that Christ wished them to have it on His birthday.
Now that is a way to honor and teach a little about the sacrifice that Christ Himself made for us all that Passover day upon the cross.
So will you return those presents not under the tree yet? Will you tell the true story of Christmas and the virgin birth?

When Jesus got angry.

There is one time and only one time that it is documented that Jesus Christ got angry. This was when he entered into the temple in Jerusalem. Here he saw corruption and hypocrisy rampant within the Jewish religion.
What can we the Christian take from this? It is obvious that if this is the only thing that caused Jesus to anger then it is those that call themselves “Christian” but their actions and behavior say otherwise then God is most likely not happy with their behavior.
Jesus made it clear that if we place God first and love our neighbors as we love ourselves, which mean to love ALL humankind, no matter what they have done or how they live, then we are giving glory and honor unto to God His Father.
Acts of self-righteousness in most cases are actions which shows you do not love your fellow brothers and sisters of the human race. If you get angry that someone curses or even willfully lives in a life of sin and you turn your back upon them you are in reality turning your back upon God, for you are deny His teachings given to us directly by His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

The show must go on!!! What?

The pretense and showmanship is grand and fabulous. The women are in their finest attire and the men are dressed to show their opulence. They gather saying sweet nothings to one another not truly caring what the others feel or think. Truly, only caring about their own endeavors, their own desires, their own lusts.
But upon which stage does this grand drama take place? Where is the lights? Where is the scenery? How is the stage set? Has this drama been seen before?
The grand melodrama occurs weekly. Some stand staunchly while others dance about in their finery parading about thinking they are pleasing only to one when in reality they are seeking only to please those that look on about them.
There have been several times when the play was staged in the long past. Each time the stage lights failed, the make-up was shown to be more like a clown’s then professional actor. It cause those within the cast to stand up and walk out seeing the poor acting for what it was falsehoods and deceit. As it came into the light of day, the show revealed for what it really was.
A show to glorify only those within the play, yet many within the play never really knew that was what they were doing. They have been in this play since birth. They follow the script word for word. Thinking they are following it perfectly, which to a degree they are, but in fact they are not. They follow the choreography not realizing it is nothing but a show meant to shine light upon them to all those about them.

When you gather in a church do so to Glorify God not yourself for when God is not the center that makes you the center. If the church you go to glorifies the man, speaking on the dais it is not for God. If you are there to do repeated ceremonies, you are not there for God. If you are there to make yourself look better than those about you are, it is not for God.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
