Do you need a degree to speak to God?

Now why even poise such a question? All I can say is this. The other day I encountered a discussion and someone’s reply quoted some man that stated you must have a seminary degree to know the words of God. I was dumbfounded.
As I have explained before I only use the King James Bible*. Why because it is the closest to the original Greek and Hebrew available. I then use Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance to get to that Greek and Hebrew to see their meaning of the words and then two dictionaries and these are a luxury. Most people have not had these resources available till recent history, but these items truly do help you understands God’s instruction manual better.
It is dogmatic teachings that someone with more education then you must be the person you listen to allowing you insight into what God desires of each and every person. This is a lie period. It is this mentality that has caused evil to exist throughout the centuries because humans would place their spin on the Word of God for their benefit. It caused the Crusades, Slavery and even in some part contributed to the Holocaust.
It is this thinking that you must go through a person to get to God that is causing so much confusion and even falling away from the church. It is this believe that has caused Atheism. It is this very mentality that Martin Luther confronted in his thesis.
What is required? People actually reading the Bible themselves. Actually taking the time to study it, getting to know it. Will there be some need for aids form others that have studied the Bible longer. I would say yes, but I would also say to take anything they say with a grain of salt and for you to verify if it stands with the Bible itself.
I also refuse to read any versions of the Bible that have been written since after 1960*. Why? Because I don’t trust them. They are a translation of a translation of a translation and as I have witnesses when I did read them the translation was not that, but an opinion.
Too many allow some other human to tell them what God says. That is not their job. God gave these jobs to be done by apostles; prophets; evangelists; pastors and teachers;
The apostle is apostolos ap-os’-tol-os from 649; a delegate; specially, an ambassador of the Gospel; officially a commissioner of Christ (“apostle”) (with miraculous powers):–apostle, messenger, he that is sent. So he is to read the word of God unto those that have not heard it.
Key statement – “officially a commissioner of Christ” this mean chosen by Christ Himself this was the 12 apostles and Paul. I know of no other “apostles.”
The prophet is prokerusso prok-ay-rooce’-so from 4253 and 2784; to herald (i.e. proclaim) in advance:–before (first) preach. So he is to herald the return of Christ.
The evangelist is euaggelistes yoo-ang-ghel-is-tace’ from 2097; a preacher of the gospel:–evangelist. Is someone that Deliver a sermon or religious address to an assembled group of people.
The pastor is of uncertain affinity; a shepherd (literally or figuratively):–shepherd, pastor. Is someone that watches over the congregation and counsels them.
The teacher is didaskalos did-as’-kal-os from 1321; an instructor (genitive case or specially):–doctor, master, and teacher. The one who educates those that accept Christ as their Savior
Now in the times of Jesus they had the Pharisees, Scribes and the Sadducees. These men would equate to well educated men. Yet were they following the Torah correctly? No they were not. If fact Jesus made it very clear that these men make themselves to be of a higher class then of the common person. This is not how it was meant to be. If you read the Old Testament you will find that the judges and the prophets were usually common people blessed by God for what reason? Their knowledge of God and His teachings. These men were self-taught and in some cases tutored by another prophet.
Yet that is not acceptable in today’s world. Why?
If someone studies the word of God correctly and adheres to them and then teaches them yet he had not gone to any theological college. Why is his understanding of God less than anyone else that has gone to a university?
I think it can be at minimum equal, and to some degree better. Why? Because this layman was not exposed to all the doctrinal dogma taught by this religious organization or that religious organization, which I feel frees this person to truly read the Bible correctly.
As another example, does not the Baptist teach that once you are saved you are always saved, yet is that not the opposite of what is taught in Revelation 3:14-22, John 15: 1-8 and 2 Peter 2:1-22? Yes it is. Then this is a false and man-made doctrine and should be removed and replaced with the correct teaching, which states that if you continue to be exposed to the world you can become re-corrupted by it and you will no longer bear fruit and will be cast off by God Himself.
So in reality what is right, the Bible or the Baptist Church? That answer is simple… the Bible.

NOTE: This is not an attack against the Baptist Church, it was just one example of many man-made doctrines that fill many denominations throughout Christendom. I could give examples of many of them but that would take up too much time and space. Please look to the Bible and your denominations doctrines and see if it fits in the Bible correctly or not. If it does not it should not be followed for it is not God-made but man-made.

* – In my posts I use (NLT) the New Living Translation as a tool for the reader. I do not use it when I study the Word of God for the reasons stated above. I have found flaws within this translation and when I do I revert to the KJV when I need to post that verse.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: “There is nothing! Just blackness!”

These are the words I have heard several times of late. When I hear them it saddens me. For I know. Without a doubt. That there are many that actual believe and accept this to be the reality after the death of the bodies our souls occupy as we live our lives in this temporal plain of existence. Here is the thing that sticks out to me whenever I hear these words spoken.
The person is aware. The person has a conscious recollection and a tangible knowledge of this “blackness.”
Isn’t that interesting?
How is this possible if there is nothing?
I have had two personal experiences in my live that I wish to share at this moment. The first was a few years back. I woke up from my sleep in the middle of the night with what I later found out was an ocular migraine. My left eye was totally shutdown. I was blind in one eye. There was nothing but blackness when I closed the other eye, yet I was aware. I was and am alive.
The second came in a one of my dreams. Thus the name “dreamwalker,” which is associated with Act 2:17.
In this dream I found myself falling within total blackness. I was aware and I knew I could feel myself falling. Several other things took place, but they are unimportant to this article, so I will go on. As this fall neared its end I knew I was approaching what is called Hades or hell.
What is important is that the blackness was in this situation. So could these people actually be experiencing this blackness? I would say yes.
It is God blinding them. Not allowing them to see what is beyond. Why I would not know. I could speculate, but how? I don’t have enough information to give a true idea of what or what is not beyond this temporal world having never had a near-death experience.
However, from what I do have knowledge and experience. I can safely and without doubt know that God is real. Jesus did live, die and rise again.
So is God blinding people that are living in sin or living in an apostate state? I would again say yes.
By God showing them Hades or hell would be He imposing upon their freewill to choose to follow Him with all their heart, mind and soul.
Now there is documentation that shows where there have been near-death experiences of blackness. However there is nearly an equal amount that shows where God has revealed heaven unto people. This again is too allow those in doubt to question, to look, to learn and to come to their own determination about Our Creator God.
I have seen, read and learned enough to know that we are His creation. For this I praise God and His Son.
One thing we have to remember in these times leading up to the return of Jesus Christ is this:
There will be billions that ask and accept Jesus to be their Savior during the Tribulation. Not before, which is the times we are now living. For now we must endure the trials and tribulations that are to come for those of us that confess to be “Christian.” For us we have much pain, anguish and agony in our futures. I pray Christ will give me the strength to endure, for that is His promise unto those that ask.

The great surrender

This is shown throughout history. Any that deny this deny their very nature. Why this is, is due entirely to the act of Eve eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Each and every human seeks to please only one person: themselves. This is why certain sins are stated within the Bible as to not allowing those that perform them entrance into heaven. For they have no true understanding of surrender.
Yes I said surrender.
We must surrender our desires, our wants, and our lusts. Thus forsaking them for our own survival.
Jesus is asked what are to two greatest commandments.
The first is that we are to LOVE GOD with ALL or our heart, mind and soul.
How can we do this if our first love is ourselves?
The second greatest commandment latches on to this.
We are to love our neighbor, known as all those other humans about us, as we love ourselves!
This is what it means to surrender ourselves, first to God and then to our fellow humans.
Any that seek to dominate, control and influence “Because they know what is best.” Has not surrendered unto God and in fact seek to be their own gods.
Those that say that the unborn has no moral rights are acting as their own god. For they know what is best for the mother of this unborn life. They are in control and so are the ruler, the master, the god.
These are the actions and the words of those on the left in the United States. For they know what is best for the common person. They are what is best for the continuation of the human race. All the wording and actions of those that see themselves in their own minds as gods.
There is only one God and He sent us His Son for our salvation form enslavement to ourselves.
So turn to Jesus Christ and surrender unto everything, especially yourself.

A full, complete and truthful form of consent

This is something that is missing from the world today. I also do not mean to consent in an act within a relationship between two people. I do mean in the ability to choose how your life will be lived.
To approach this topic we have to look at the universe including how nature itself works, especially in the area of life forms. These being complex life forms that is. Those that require two to reproduce and continue on the species. There are now those that say for humans this is now something that has always been fluid. This is a concept that does not carry any weight in how complex life forms reproduce. There is only one way in these life forms. So that means there is only one way it can be interrupted.
This topic in away was addressed by Paul the apostle to the Romans in chapter one of this book within the New Testament. In fact it goes on to state clearly the women left their nature design to seek after encounters with other women. This shows that all higher life forms even in the time of the Roman Empire considered natural order to be only in a male/female relationship which continued the species.
Why is this now in question?
The answer is simple. Humanity is no longer being taught the true science of nature. They are being taught someone’s idea of how they see nature, which leads to confusion. This misunderstanding also comes from a deeper point. How people see their very existence within the universe. We are in a time of chaos not order. Cultures thrive within order. These theorist would have you believe the opposite. As a result culture starts to fail and those that thrive within chaos start to succeed as they themselves start to impose their own form of order.
However their form of order does not help the majority. It instead feeds them, to the point of self-destruction. This has played out time and again throughout history. The Egyptians, the Babylonians, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Nazis, and the Soviets. All have risen and fallen. Usually ending in bloodshed, but no matter always failing.
True order always wins out. For when true order is allowed to occur. Humanity works within it easily and comfortably, for the most part. Even though we all mess up and all make errors we can find some comfort in our life. The source of where order comes from has been removed for the most part. The majority no longer even know where to look for some true form of order. Mainly due to those with the power to bend the ear have nearly everyone not willing to truly look to, nor even attempt to understand the source of order. In fact they go out of their way to make it where you must listen to those with degrees to show that they have proven their worth and value to the world. By dedicating their time and effort to get a piece of paper; instead of actually in-depth studying of what it is they say they know. Having themselves taken the word of others over learning what is needed themselves. Just because someone has a piece of paper that says they graduated from some university doesn’t mean they truly know anything. Most when truly challenged fail to even understand the simplest of precepts within anything worth truly knowing.
This is due to relying on others to give you that which you need to come to an understanding of. The majority do not have informed consent. You can only get informed by coming to know and understand that which you wish to know by actually reading it yourself. This not only goes for the Bible, but for the Constitution of the United States of America. Most actually think an election is won by popular vote. Dictators, those that thrive in chaos desire the popular vote. For they know it is only a matter of time until they will feast upon the flesh of the masses. A prime example: Venezuela.
One of the greatest statements within the Bible is those that are to lead never truly seek after power. It is thrust upon them and when they do have it; they only seek to serve those that they have been made to lead. This happened because they are informed of the truth and the facts.
You can only chose how you can live your life successfully if you know ALL the options. If you know the consequence both good and bad if you chose to do certain things. It is this lack of informed knowledge that has made it where there are those that now say sexuality is fluid. For they do not understand that there is only one way. They seek after their own lusts and desires. It is from these lusts that caused another statement within the Bible. That being if you harm a child that believes in God that you may as well tie a weight to your neck and throw yourself into the sea. For that death will be better than the death that awaits those that harm these children.
Read the Bible. Read the Constitution. Come to know both. No longer let others lead you around by the nose. Make your own informed consent. If you chose to live in sin then di so, but know and accept that you will not be in the eternal life that is to come. A life that is promised to all, but few shall actually find

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: a sad comment

So the other day, one of my fellow co-workers walks up to me. He says he was talking to another co-worker who said this about me:
“He is the only person here that says he is a Christian and actually acts like it. All the others that say they are do not.”
This made me speechless. Not out of pride, or shock, but in actual sorrow.
I talk to a few people at work that say they are also “Christian.” One of them seem to be doing the right thing.
About me? I know I sin. I know I am not perfect. I strive to follow the teachings of the Bible as best I can, but I still fall short.
Yet to have someone say, that I am the exception, on the good side. I would rather be the exception on the bad. Due in part to my failings as a human.
There are many that do not state they are “Christian.”
There are many that actually deny God.
But to be deemed the only one, in a place that has hundreds. This is sad.

An “unfair” God

This is one of those things that just amaze me. The other day I ran a post and I got a reply stating that something in the Bible was “unfair.”
This says two things to me. First and foremost, they have no true understanding of God, and second they wish to humanize God, by saying that He is capable of error. Let’s look at the first and hopefully it will address the second issue, but I doubt it so I will expound on that a little as well.
God is the creator of everything, with Him by His side Christ has always been present. God caused the Big Bang and the universe became real. God created all life throughout His creation. This is stated in Genesis. God is all knowing and all perfect. From Him comes order to the universe, and this order has a truly natural order. Certain elements do certain things. New life from that which was created must do certain things to continue on. With the merest thought He can cause an earthquake, a volcanic eruption and the rain to fall. He causes a cricket to sing with its legs and a bird to fly through the air. From Him ALL is ordained. God is not “unfair.” In fact the mere fact that we breathe, think, and walk is due to Him being fair. God could never be “unfair,” and so anything that comes from God is for His glory and perfection, even the fall of man from grace is fair. Why? Because He doesn’t want puppets on strings but people that freely and willingly accept Him as who He really is even though because humans have free will all that is horrid and horrible takes place. Why, because humans are imperfect and corrupt and only imperfection and corruption can come from them at this time. But still this is what God wants to take place so only those that truly love and honor Him will do so, for He is the Creator of ALL!
There are those that either do not know this or don’t care to know this. They think and believe that men made the Bible. Yes men penned the Bible, but per 2 Timothy 3:16 God inspired their words though the Holy Spirit. Men are the tools of God, not the other way around and so to say something written in the Bible is “unfair” is saying God is unfair. If God were unfair he would not have given humans a way to commune with him through the blood sacrifices given to the Jewish nation. If God were unfair then He would not have allowed His Son to come into this reality through Mary. If God were unfair He would not have let His only child suffer torture, pain and anguish, but He did. Is this something that someone that is unfair would do? By all means NO!
Then if God is not unfair who is? Those that would rather live in sin and parade about as if they are a children of God. That is who is unfair. They are unfair because they care more for themselves then God or their fellow human beings. Those that are truly unfair force their way of life in the face of others not caring what damage they do. That is not only unfair, but it is hatred, for they not only hate other humans but they in reality hate God. Now that is truly unfair.
Colossians 4: 1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

“Live no longer as the gentiles do”

There are those out there that do not say this. But that is what we are instructed to do within the Bible. For the Bible is the Word of God and when you ask Jesus into your life you are binding yourself to these words.
Then why do those in the pulpits and stand upon the dais not say these words? Are they not the representative of God? In actually no they are not. They are a representative of those that appointed these people the leaders. In actuality when you accept Jesus as your Savior you yourself become a representative of God. It is your responsibility to make sure what you are hearing is the truth of the Bible. Yes the Bible does say this:
Ephesians 4:11 – Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
If those you have chosen to lead you do not bring unity in our faith and true knowledge of God’s Son so that we can stand a pure reflection of Jesus Christ Himself, are they serving God or themselves? The answer is they are serving themselves.
In Ephesians chapter four the title of this article is written by Paul, but here is the complete picture of this part of the Bible, for it is important that people start to learn how to take the word of God in context:
“17 With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused. 18 Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him. 19 They have no sense of shame. They live for lustful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity.
20 But that isn’t what you learned about Christ. 21 Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, 22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. 24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.”
What I find that many now days try not to acknowledge is the statement that the gentiles “live for lustful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity.” Now there are those that call themselves “Christian” and do these very things themselves. As was just shown above we are to come into unity and seek after being a true reflection of Jesus Christ. Jesus the one and only perfect being ever to walk this planet. If people live in lustful pleasures and impurity they are nowhere near that reflection.
We are told that we must leave our sins behind. We can no longer live in the sinful lives that so many cherish more than God. For by doing so they are not “Christian,” but a gentile, a sinner, and something that is not welcome in heaven.
Ephesians 4:30 – And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. 32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Who are the adulterers of the book of James?

This is not referring to just those that commit adultery upon their spouse, even though, technically they are included. It is those that say that they have asked Jesus Christ to be their Savior. It is those that then instead of being a loyal bride to the Holy Bridegroom, which is who Jesus is. They turn their backs upon Him and seek after those things that they can see about them.
He tells us not to seek after things of the world. For they shall rust away and be eaten by moths, or stolen by thieves (Matthew 6:19-20). Yet this is exactly what they do seek after. They seek after wealth, and fame. They seek after the bigger, the better, and the shinier. They turn themselves into adulterers, cheating upon their Savior and rejecting those promised and cherished rewards that will come when we no longer live for up to a hundred years. But when we live for billions, upon billions of years.
This is the one concept most in the world have forgotten, that we are all to be eternal beings. We are all promised to live for billions of years. Most, however, reject this thesis. They claim that all there is, is this poultry one hundred years. And so they seek after that which turns them into adulterers.
The Bible makes it clear. If you seek after riches it can most likely be impossible to enter into the eternal live that is to come (Matthew19:23-24). We are to reject the lusts and desires of pleasing ourselves, but to humble ourselves and worship He who died upon the cross. Allowing us the ability to be seen by His Father, our Creator.
The desires of the self must die. Placing ourselves at the center of our concerns must die. For if we do not do this, we are promised to die a second time. To be dead eternally in the sight of God. Even though physically we will still be alive, but in such anguish and misery that we will have no time to know or think of anything else but that agony we will be experiencing if we do not end being adulterers to He that has called us to be His bride.
Repent of your sin. Turn your backs upon them and never return to them. For if you do not, God Himself will break you form the vine of the Bridegroom and allow you to be cast into the fire (John 15).
James 4:1 – What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you? 2 You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. 3 And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure. 4 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. 5 Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him. 6 And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say,
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. 9 Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

The modern day Lot

Lot was the last man that was considered loyal to God within the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. He was so right with God that he knew that the two angels of God were coming unto Sodom the city he lived in with his wife and two daughters.
He knew that the city was not good for the minions of God. This shows those reading the Bible that Lot even though good did not have a full understanding of God and His power.
Still he took the two angels of the Lord to his house and fed them. It is here the men of Sodom came unto Lot’s home and demanded that the messengers of God be given unto them so that the men “know” them.
Now Lot offered up his two virgin daughters, but they turned Lot’s offer down and rushed his home and attempted to break down the door for they would rather be with the men (angels) then with virgins.
The angels told Lot to flee with his family and they were teleported to the entrance of Sodom and they fled.
There is a new Sodom within the United States of America, yet it is not a city but a group. A group that has denounced God and embraces the way of ancient cities. There are those that seek to cure this new Sodom from within it, but it is as Sodom and Gomorrah as well as the other cities that surrounded these two were.
In 2 Peter great detail is given unto these that follow the ways of these ancient cites that God removed from the world in fire and brimstone. It tells that it will corrupt those that were once one with God. It shall be appealing to the lukewarm of Revelation 3:14-22 and they shall no longer bear fruit as is mentioned in John 15.
The other day I had an encounter with one of these that thought themselves to be a modern day Lot. God through the Holy Spirit impressed upon me that I must tell him he was at a crossroads. Yet others interfered making excuses for him and his predicament. Yet I know without a doubt that a crossroads has been met for this man and it is time for him to flee from the sin or be engulfed by it.
I have been given a task by God to speak to the grey (lukewarm) and to help return them to God, but there are things they must do on their own that most refuse to do. The first and foremost they must leave the Democratic party for that is the new Sodom and Gomorrah. They must call those things that are called sin within the Bible sin once again and to turn their backs upon it and to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. For this I say by the will of God who has placed the burden upon me to witness and teach unto those that have turned from Him before it is too late for them. For I have read the Bible and see that many look only to the passage of rewards and glory but ignore the words of falling away and pain from the loss of God within them.

2 Peter 2: 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

The warnings of lost salvation

In the Bible there is three passages where Jesus Christ Himself says that those that are one with God can be removed from what they have found. The first is in John 15, the next two take place in the third chapter of the book of Revelation.
In John 15 it is established that Jesus Himself is the grape vine and so any branch on the vine is a part of Jesus Christ and so it can be said they have been saved. It states that we are to bear fruit. The key elements to bearing fruit is by living our lives as is taught within the Bible, simply letting Jesus Christ into our life, as well as a few other things, but that is the key element.
Those that do not bear fruit are cut from the vine of Jesus Christ by God Himself. This dead branch is then given over to man and then into the fire.
Now when Jesus talks of fire especially in this context He is referring to the pit of fire. The last home of those that have turned their backs upon God.
John 15: 1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
The examples from Revelation come from the glorified form of Jesus Christ as He tells John to write to certain churches that existed at the time that John wrote the letters and Revelation. In His letter to Sardis Christ makes reference to the Book of Life. Please pay close attention to the wording:
Revelation 3: 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
“Blot out” is the word “exaleipho” in the Greek. This defines as: I wipe away, I plaster, wash over; I wipe off, wipe out, obliterate. This clearly implies that it was there.
In both the imagery is clear. Those mentioned ARE a part of Jesus Christ, but for this to happen they have to be saved, for you can only get into heaven if you are “born again” (John 3:3). This will make you a part of the vine and ensure your name is written in the Book of Life.
In the third example it is Christ’s statement to the lukewarm or those that belief that the world is not black and white but grey.
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Now again we must reconcile with the understanding that Jesus is talking to those that have asked Jesus Christ into their hearts. Now though they live a life that is not driven by God, Jesus or the Bible, but by what makes them happy. These are those I refer to as the “Sunday Christians.” They go to church on Sunday sing to God and Jesus, praise and pray to them, then the moment they leave church all bets are off. It is dog eat dog and may the best person win. This is the majority of those that profess to be “Christian” today. They are the “lukewarm.” They are an abhorrence to Jesus and sickens Him so much He spits them from His Body. Again we must understand if He can spit them out they have to have been a part of Him in the first place.
This brings me to 2 Peter 2 where how it will be for the end times. This chapter covers a lot and it should be read and re-read till it sinks in. What is to follow is extremely important to read and understand so I will show it in King James and in New Living Translation
2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
20 And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. 21 It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life.
Now look at John 3:
3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” 4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” 5 Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. 7 So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’
When you are truly born again in the Holy Spirit you are saved and one of the Body of Christ. You are listed in the Book of Life. You become a branch upon the vine of Jesus Christ.
But if you are broken off of the vine, and spit out of the Body then your name is no longer in the Book of Life.
Revelation 20:15 And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

I did not say this. These are not me reading things into the Bible that are not there. This is plain language. This is Jesus Christ HIMSELF saying the words. If you deny His words you are denying Him. Any that deny Him, He will deny to His father.
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
