Blog for Podcast # 16 (Who causes the the turmoil in our lives?)

Intro

Welcome to another podcast. I am Dreamwalker1960
Today we will look at the event that occurred one stormy night on the Sea of Galilee.

Discussion
Matthew 14:25-33 – About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!”
27 But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!”
28 Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”
29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said.
So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.
31 Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”
32 When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped. 33 Then the disciples worshiped him. “You really are the Son of God!” they exclaimed.
When we look at these verses in Matthew. This is what I see.
They all see Christ but think He is a spirit. This is twofold. One, Jesus is walking on the water. Two, Peter has to ask for clarification if He truly is Jesus. So not only is it due to Him walking on the surface of the sea, but His appearance is different to have made them question literally their sanity, and who He was.
Now let’s look specifically at Peter’s interaction with Jesus.
When Peter asks for this verification he asks as evidence that Christ ask Peter to come out to Him walking upon the water as well. Now as this is happening, Peter is looking at the Jesus Christ before him. He has his whole attention upon the Son of God. Peter only falters once he allows his attention to drift off of his Lord.
When this distraction occurs he starts to sink into the water. He cries out to Jesus who does come to his aid. Then they both enter the boat and the storm ends.
At this point all the disciples proclaim Him the Messiah.
So Peter sees Christ. Not Jesus the man, but Jesus the Son of God.
Then Peter requests a verification of Christ’s reality.
Then Peter responds in faith and walks toward Christ.
Peter then turns away from Christ and sees the waves and feels the wind then begins to sink or fall.
Peter cries out for help from Jesus when he sees his peril.
Christ helps him, but they leave where they are and return to something “normal.”
Christ also says to Peter that he has little faith.
Here I have provided seven elements of this encounter. Now let’s go even deeper into these components where God leads us.
The first place I feel we should go is to Peter’s faith.
Hebrews Chapter 11 said this about faith
1-3 – Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. 2 Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.
3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
Whomever wrote Hebrews goes on to give example after example of those that were highly regarded throughout the Old Testament and the Tanakh.
It is this basic reaction that comes from these three verses that we are going to go with here. Peter’s response to Christ’s simple answer of “Yes, come.”
While Peter’s full attention is still upon Jesus. He simply walks out of the boat, onto the tossing seas that stand between himself and Christ and walks over to Him.
It is only when Peter no longer has his focus upon Jesus Christ is when he falters and begins to sink. To us when we turn away from our focus upon our Savior, we start to fall away from Him.
Peter became aware of the world. We too in turn become aware of the world and its many turmoil’s, which are like unto a raging sea.
Peter began to sink into the dark waters. We fall away from the light of Jesus Christ and descend toward the distractions of the world about us, which is filled with darkness.
And so we come to the difference between Peter and many of us that have by faith accepted Jesus as our Savior. We have walked upon the waters of our worlds and walked up to Jesus our Savior. Then we let something distract us off of Christ and so we begin to sink, to fall.
Many do as Peter did. Realize their jeopardy and call out to Jesus Christ for His help. Many others do not.
Many get their feet wet. Others get their legs wet. Yet others get wet up to their waist. While others their chest. Then many to their neck. Then other. These others, never call out to Jesus. As a result they no longer bear fruit upon the vine of salvation. So in turn they drown.
Yes. They are lost.
It is here that some reading or listening will scoff, get angry. They will turn away from what is being said here.
They will say “God would never do that.” “God would not allow someone to turn their backs upon Him.”
I have shown time again throughout all of my teachings upon this topic that yes. God will allow us to do as we please. If we so decide to return to the world of sin, then we are free to do so.
God has given us freewill to do as we so desire. It is this desire that results in sin, in wars, in turmoil. Humanity creates its own pain. Its own horrors, not God.
That is shown time and again throughout the Bible. Does every person that is taught of righteousness in the Bible become the focal point of the Old Testament? Like those listed in Hebrews 11.
Abel heard and had faith. His brother Cain did not. Cain had the same choice to accept God but instead he chose himself and in turn killed his brother Abel.
Enoch heard and kept his eye upon God so strongly that God took him into heaven still alive, and is alive to this very day.
Noah showed such faith that he lived through the ridicule for building a boat nowhere near water. Yet those that were about him loved themselves so much more that they totally reject the very existence of God. Even though it is said that giants walked amongst them.
Abraham’s faith was so great that he was promised a nation so vast that those within it would be like counting the grains of sand on the beaches.
Abel, Enoch, Noah and Abraham kept their faith and their eye upon God.
Yet Cain turn his eyes away. Those that were not upon the arc of the flood had turned their eyes away from God. Are they saved? Are they counted amongst those in heaven?
If all kept their eyes upon God, then Eve would never have eaten the forbidden fruit and her and Adam would never have been ejected from the Garden of Eden.
People will accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Then they will love their sins more than God. They will fall away and sink into the Sea of Galilee. To die once again.
2 Peter 2:20-22 – And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. 21 It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. 22 They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.” And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”
Now as I said there are those that are saying God would not allow this. My response is this.
What did Jesus do when Peter called out?
Christ IMMEDIATELY grabbed Peter’s hand and helped him and returned him to something familiar.
God will never abandons us. It is not God that is allowing the fall. It is the person themselves allowing it. For Peter turned his attention to the storm, to the world.
God would not and will not allow it. We allow it. For we due to our freewill make our own choices, and our own fates.
It is we that decide if we are going to heaven or going to hell.
God wants us to be with Him. It is up to us to decide if we want to be there too.

God bless

Do you really think about how the letters of the New Testament were written?

They were written with such love and such purpose of giving love unto to all the world through the preaching of the teachings of Christ.
In many cases they were written when all that could be done was to send letters in the replacement of the person. Why? Because the writers were imprisoned. In a dark stinking cells with no air to properly circulate the smell of excrement and rot.
Yet the words were written and they were written telling all to spread the teachings of Jesus and Son of God. How do we treat these words these days? We ignore them, pervert them and even teach other fads in their stead.
This is the ultimate insult to those that wrote down these words. It is a critical insult upon the suffering they endured for your salvation.
Peter was hung upside down upon an inverted cross
James was killed with a sword
It is stated that the all but John died of martyrdom. He was exiled and died of old age.

The challenges of true knowledge and understanding

Today I was exposed to two different sides of a coin that has become tarnished and corrupt. The coin is Hollywood. On the one side of the coin was a documentary called “Five Came Back.” On the other side was the movie “Silence.”
I watched “Silence” till the end and learned something about faith in God. I could not get partly through the second episode of “Five Came Back.” In the latter I heard words like “democracy,” and I noted the absence of words like “Socialist” and “Democrat.” From the former I learn the need to maintain true strength and belief in God even though it may result in doing so silently.
Now, however, is not the time for silence. Now is the time to speak, to write, to try and awaken those that have been lied to and those that have never been taught at all. What needs to be known is the truth. The very thing that many within Hollywood now wish to hide or may not even know what the real truth is about.
First off. Who are Nazis? Well, the truth is, they were Socialist. When Hitler took over the German Workers Party, he added two words to this group. “National” and “Socialist,” making it the National Socialist German Workers Party or as the acronym is none: Nazi.
So when these Socialist did not like what they heard they would riot and shout down those that did not think as they thought. That is how today’s Socialist respond when they beat up supports of the now President, Donald Trump. On college campuses in Socialist Germany they burned the Bible, they burned the works of Albert Einstein and others that did not support and agree with their Socialist agenda. In Berkley Socialist started fires to stop a so-called Conservative speaker from speaking. So as can be seen those that protest and yell and shout and scream and support a Socialist agenda in the United States today are the new Nazis. This is the truth, this is the facts. It is a Nazi agenda that is being pushed and supported by those in Hollywood, when they use words like “democracy.” Germany was and still is a democracy, the United States is not nor never has been a “democracy.” It is in reality a “Constitutional Republic,” thus the use of the Electoral College. So that the people on mass are represented not the majority. It is the majority, the minority, the rich and the poor that are represented by this republic.
The founding fathers of this nation dedicated this Republic to God. So for nearly two hundred years this nation prospered and grew. But ever present was events and actions that scarred this nation. Slavery until after a Civil War had to be fought. Slavery was not the only reason for this Civil War, it was also an attack upon the Republic. It was this part of the Civil War all lost. For those that caused slavery. Those that caused the internment of the American Japanese during World War II, and those that attacked and hunted Blacks will into the 1970s, known as the KKK, still existed and to this day still do exist. Except now their favorite pastime is the slaughter of the unborn. They are known as the Democratic Party and have once again embraces Socialism. President Roosevelt, who was the one that interned the Japanese once sang praises of Adolf Hitler during the 1930s, and enacted several government programs in the Nazi image, which worsened the Great Depression.
It is the Socialist deepest desire to silence all that oppose them like the Nazis did in the 1930s. One of their biggest threats are those that truely support freedom and free-will, that being those that truly understand and know the Bible. That is why Christians are under attack. To them, all that the Bible teaches is counter to their desire to control and manipulate. For the Bible does not teach this. The Bible teaches that ALL are equal. Yet those in Hollywood see themselves as today’s royalty. Their word are sacred and they know all, and any that question them are ignorant and evil. The exact same mentality that those within the National Socialist German Workers Party had in the 1930s. Their way was the only way to restore the greatness of their nation once again. It can only be done their way and ANY that oppose it MUST be silenced and destroyed. This resulted in the death of over 13,000,000 million people taken to places like Auschwitz, Dachau and Buchenwald. Six Million of these were Jews, the majority of the rest were those Christians that tried to end the Socialist agenda and answered for it with the lives.
Once again the Jewish nation and Christianity are under attack by those within the Democratic a.k.a. Socialist party. It was obvious to all that the previous and Democratic Party administration not only hated the nation of Israel, but Christianity as well. They strived with all their power to indoctrinate the youth of this nation in Islam and destroyed as must as they could of Christianity and weaken the nation of Israel. All being cheered on and supported by Hollywood.
Learn the Bible. Learn the truth, and learn history. For those that do not know history are doom to repeat it. I look at the behavior of those on the left and I see those that do not know true history. I see 1930s Germany being reenacted upon the streets and colleges within the United States of America. All I know is that people must awaken. That all must become active in how this nation is run and show how a republic truly works. For if they do not they will end up like Venezuela is as of a view days ago. A Socialist nation turned into a dictatorship filled with death, hunger and strive. All because they desired and sought after the “Socialist dream,” which ALWAYS ends in nightmares.

Nature vs. Nurture the Biblical view

re-post
There are those that strongly believe the theory that has been placed out there that some are born a certain way. The main reason behind this theory is designed to overcome the Bible and thus show that it is a nothing but a book. What is to follow is purely me stating what I find to be shown as facts within the teaching given within this book, but we must first have a starting point. Mine is God’s view of children.
Jesus stated that he wishes all to come to Him as if they were children, innocent and pure. This means that up until children enter into their teenage years they are not held accountable for their sins. Why? Because they are learning. They are being taught right from wrong from their parents, their spiritual leaders and teachers. They are being given the foundations of knowledge that will lead to how they should respond when they are presented with either sinning or not sinning in various encounters they will have as they go from being a child into an adult.
It is during these teenage years that we are presented with free-will. For only as we head toward and then become adults are we held accountable for our actions. This is why many Protestant and Pentecostal churches do not wish people to become baptized until their teenage years and beyond because they have made the free-will choice to turn to Christ and accept Him as their Savior. This is why it is important to teach children of the Bible and the meaning of right and wrong as well as what is considered sin during their informative years. So when it comes time to make a free-will choice it will be with an understanding that they may be exposing themselves to sin. Many will choose to do so and because it was a free-will decision they are more than welcome to do so.
So now that we have established that children are born innocent and pure and without sin. How can someone state that they are born into a sin nature? How can they come into this world already fully encumbered with free-will when they are a clean slate? You cannot. Yet this is how those that state nature causes someone to come into the world full of sin. This is actually counter to the teachings of the Bible, which tells all to teach their youth of God and His Word. For to say that someone is born already tainted it negates the statement Christ made wishing all to come to Him as if they were children. For children would already be accountable for free-will from the moment they are born, which they are not. So since those that say it is through nature that someone ends up someway then this rules out the existence of God, which is exactly what they wish people to believe.
But what if there is a God and the Bible is correct and a new born babe is free of sin and only becomes aware of it as they grow and become accountable for it as they come into adulthood. Then this promotes that it is through nurturing that someone decides to enter into any type of sin and since this is how the Bible states it is and should be then there is a God and it is through teaching children of God and what is right and wrong as well as what is considered a sin or not a sin that we reach the point of free-will fully informed of our choices and decide how we shall live our lives.
Since this is not how most are now taught due to the theory that nature is the way people sin that it ends up that people do sin, because they have been nurtured by those teaching this false idea that this theory is indeed fact when the Bible says the opposite.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: it is safe to come out yet?

I had come to the conclusion, as the election neared. That I know without a doubt before 2020 I would be imprisoned within one of the many FIMA camps that are spread out within the United States.
Why?
Well for the main reason I refuse to deny in any way I am a Christian.
For the next part I could see the “tolerant” left under the control of President Hillary Clinton getting to a point of so hating Christians that we would be rounded up as the Jews were in the 1930s in Germany.
This fear has been removed, at least for the moment. For still we hear of these college campuses singing praises of a dictator who caused the death of millions. Yes many can say God stopped this left form turning my fears into a reality. However, the state of the world had not fully taken the discomfort away.
Due to the constant onslaught from those on the left, who have control over the media, our colleges and the bureaucracy of our government, will not surrender their last from of power and control. Still there is the possibility of persecution for that is promised with the Bible.
So is it safe to say you are “Christian?”
Maybe not, but I will continue to do so, even if it means my death in this temporal existence. For I know that when I do die here. I have finished what God has planned for me to accomplish and so I will welcome the coming of my eternal life to come and the billions upon billions of years I will be in service to the Creator of this universe.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: Laniakea

What the purist scientist didn’t see that I noticed immediately as a Christian.
When you look at how scientist place us within the universe and how they are discovering more and more about the universe just affirms to me the glory of our Creator God.
Here is what I saw that I have seen before when they placed our solar system within the Milky Way galaxy. For the galaxy they found us to be toward the end of one of the spirals.
Within the supercluster of galaxies, now called Laniakea, they placed the Milk Way at the end of an arm, nearly by itself and separate from other large groups and galaxies.
As with the Milky Way we are of on the side separate and on our own. Not at the center, not an important part of the overall galaxy.
Yet still humanity things itself as something special and alone.
All this tells me is that God does not wish us to think of ourselves and something more than what He has made us to be. Those that are to follow Him and accept His Son as Our Savior.
Why?
So that someday once all that is destine for this earth to take place. We will be able to explore not only all of the Milky Way, but all of Laniakea and beyond. Doing so as His dutiful servants helping to spread His wondrous glory throughout the universe that we are only now to see and yet have no true concept of how it all works towards His glory.

From corruption comes corruption, from perfection comes perfection

Any that think that humans can help humans achieve perfection or greatness is ignoring the evidence that has been given unto all throughout history.
Are we in a world that is run from Memphis, Egypt?
Are we in a world run from Babylon?
Are we in a world that is run from Imperial Rome, and we are all citizens of Rome?
Are we in a world that is run from Catholic Rome and we all answer to the Pope?
Are we in a world where we all speak French and ruled by a dictator whose last name has been changed to Napoleon?
Are we in a world that is run from Berlin and we call ourselves descents of the one true Arian race?
Are we in a world that is run from Moscow and we have red flags everywhere?
All these nations and groups sought after perfection. None are perfect. Most were even heinous and cruel.
All came from humanity seeking perfection and ignored that which is perfection.
Yet what is perfection? None can see it, none can touch it.
Yet it is there.
It does exist.
It is real and like all that is true perfection is eternal and immortal.
Yet none wish to hear the truth. They would rather take that which is perfect and turn it into corruption so that they will be equal to it, since they realize inside that they are corrupt and unworthy of perfection.
However, this is not the promise we are given by perfection. We are told by perfection that we too can be perfect.
How is this possible? How can corruption become perfect since corruption has only made corruption?
There is only one door.
There is only one way.
Yet they do not wish to hear this. They must be allowed to live as they wish, as they like, yet that is the problem with corruption and why it can only create corruption. Because what it desires is corrupt and not worthy of perfection.
But they do not wish to hear this. It goes against all they want. It goes against all they desire.
But there is only one door.
But there is only one way.
That way is Jesus Christ.
That way is to leave sin behind, to say I cannot live in the corrupt.
That is to say Christ forgive me. That is to say Jesus accept me as your child and love me as your servant. For only through Him and His blood that He shed for you upon the cross is the only way to truly reach perfection.

There is a need for clarification in the “Lying Ted” label, Biblically.

This is a label that has not gone away. It is a label that was spoken of by the presidential nominee for the Republican Party, Donald Trump.
It has to do with Dr. Carson heading home for a change of clothes. A staffer in Ted Cruz’s election committee released a false narrative on why Dr. Carson was doing this. This action was not known nor supported by Senator Cruz. When the senator became aware he addressed it quickly and fired the staffer and then publicly apologized to Dr. Carson. Dr. Carson did not accept this apology, which is not how the Bible instructs us to act, but we are all human and flawed.
Donald Trump took advantage of this situation and so labeled the senator as “Lying Ted,” even though there was no factual foundation for this label, thus it was a lie.
Millions of voters jumped upon this bandwagon and to this day this the label has stuck.
Now that the facts of reality have been established let’s look at this from the Biblical point of view.
Let’s start with the point that Mr. Trump assigned a label to someone in a false narrative.
When someone calls someone a liar yet the very act of doing so is a lie, is per Matthew 7 hypocrisy.
“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. 3 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye. 6 “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.”
So per the Bible the Republican Party nominee for the Presidency is a self-proclaimed hypocrite. There is nothing we can do to change this now so we are stuck with this choice, which bring us to Daniel 4:17.
“For this has been decreed by the messengers; it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses— even to the lowliest of people.”
But back to the main purpose of this article.
So we have per the Bible established three facts.
1) Mr. Trump lied.
2) Mr. Trump has made himself a hypocrite
3) Mr. Trump has publicly stated he has never felt the need to repent his sins unto God or His Son Jesus Christ.
So what is to happen to liars per the Bible?
Revelation 21:8 “But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
John 8:44 – For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Proverbs 13:5 – The godly hate lies; the wicked cause shame and disgrace.
Exodus 23:1 – You must not pass along false rumors. You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand.
1 Timothy 1:8 – We know that the law is good when used correctly. 9 For the law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who kill their father or mother or commit other murders. 10 The law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or are slave traders, liars, promise breakers, or who do anything else that contradicts the wholesome teaching 11 that comes from the glorious Good News entrusted to me by our blessed God.
So that lays the foundation of what God thinks of liars, now let’s move on to hypocrisy.
James 1:26 – If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. 27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
Romans 2:1 -You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. 2 And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. 3 Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? 4 Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?
1 John 2: 7 Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment for you; rather it is an old one you have had from the very beginning. This old commandment—to love one another—is the same message you heard before. 8 Yet it is also new. Jesus lived the truth of this commandment, and you also are living it. For the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining. 9 If anyone claims, “I am living in the light,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is still living in darkness. 10 Anyone who loves a fellow believer[b] is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble. 11 But anyone who hates a fellow believer is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness.
Think that covers that, so let’s move on to repentance.
1 John 1:8 – If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.
Luke 13:1 – About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. 2 “Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? 3 Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. 4 And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? 5 No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”
Acts 17:30 “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. 31 For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”
So here is how the Bible see the actions of Donald Trump at the time he called Ted Cruz “Lying Ted.” As of now he has made no public attempt to apologize for his actions. There are those that say he has asked Christ to be his Savior yet we must remember the Bible also says this:
James 2: 14 – What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? 15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? 17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. 18 Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” 19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. 20 How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? 21 Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. 23 And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith. “He was even called the friend of God. 24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. 25 Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. 26 Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.
But what are works?
First and foremost to place God at the center of your life and in every single aspect of it.
Matthew 22:36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
This does not just apply for each and every person that professes to be “Christian,” but also for nations.
When doing this you place all the teaching of the Bible at the core of your everyday life. Yet millions that profess to be “Christian” do not do this.
It is rumored that he is new to Christianity, yet this does not excuse his past behavior. In fact it is required as was read above in repentance that he amend his past behavior whenever possible.
Matthew 5:21 “You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ 22 But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell. 23 “So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, 24 leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God. 25 “When you are on the way to court with your adversary, settle your differences quickly. Otherwise, your accuser may hand you over to the judge, who will hand you over to an officer, and you will be thrown into prison. 26 And if that happens, you surely won’t be free again until you have paid the last penny.
So with this foundation we see that Donald Trump is in the wrong and his action speak more of the world than of Christianity, yet millions of those that profess to be “Christian” flock to this man and say that Ted Cruz as wronged him. They insist that he is still “Lying Ted.” So they have born false witness against their neighbor.
So let’s look at how Donald Trump does behave. He is arrogant, he looks upon others and calls them evil names and parades himself to be better than any other person.
2 Timothy 3:1 – You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!
Gee that describes Donald Trump to a tee. So Christians are to stay away from him, yet millions gather about him and hang upon every word. Yet since we are to stay away from him does this not mean he is of the world? So what does the Bible say about those that call themselves to be the bride of Christ yet they seek out the world?
James 4:4 – You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. 5 Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him. 6 And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. 9 Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.
You have made of yourselves adulterers to Christ.
Yet due to this adultery we have only two real choices in this election, since the adulterers rejects those that were a better reflection of Christ. Both that are left are the lowliest, yet we must choose one. Is it the one that denies the very existence of God and thinks of herself as above the law and so above God? (Titus 3:1; Daniel 4:17) Or is it the one that knows there is a God but shows no real repentance.
Unfortunately we must choose one, but we must choose even though it is onerous and goes fully against our faith as true followers of Jesus Christ.
It must be Donald Trump, but unless he shows that he has changed truly for the glory of God we must replace him in the next election cycle with someone that is a better reflection of the Son of God.

2 Timothy 4:1-5

The Rapture

There are still those that do not belief in this word. Many call themselves “Christian.” They belief in the Utopian theory that all humanity will finally suddenly see the light and turn to God as His Son descends from heaven to set foot upon the Mount of Olives.
Jesus setting foot upon the Mount of Olives comes at the end of the great Tribulation though. A time that will include the death of well over half the population of this planet in natural disasters and genocide committed mainly by those that willingly reject God.
There are warning signs given to all within the Bible. Wars and rumors of wars, a great falling away from the teachings of the Bible and the return to openly showing the world sin, due to the belief that humanity does not need its Creator. These things are now more evident than they have ever been before.
There is an ultimate sign that the Bible teaches all will be a sign that the great Tribulation is beginning. That sign is the Rapture.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 – We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. 18 So encourage each other with these words.
John 14:1 – “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.”
1 Corinthians 15:50 – What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.
51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! 52 It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. 53 For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.
Now in the early Church there is strong evidence that there is not just one Rapture, but multiple Raptures. This can be seen above. In 1 Thessalonians there is reference to “a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God.” While in 1 Corinthians it states “when the last trumpet is blown.”
Is this the same event at the end of the Tribulation or is it the first and the last trumpet?
Here is a quotes from the John Walvoord Prophecy Commentaries. 1&2 Thessalonians:
“It is evident that Paul had taught them that there would be a number of resurrections in a chronological order as the Scriptures portray – not just one general resurrection as some believe today. The question I their minds was: In the order of the various resurrections, when would there deceased loved ones in Christ be raised? Apparently they thought they would be caught up to be with the Lord at any time and that the resurrection of the loved ones would be delayed. Possibly until after the great tribulation when Christ comes back to establish His kingdom. They wondered if those who died before the Lord’s coming would miss out on this great event. They wanted some instruction on this point, so Paul wrote to answer this nagging question.”
The response to this question is in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
“And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.”
I happen to agree with that there will be multiple resurrections. For when you read Revelation there is enough evidence to support not only multiple ones but they are given to separate groups as well. Those that sinned and denied God, or never knew of God being the last of these when they stand before the Great White Throne Judgment at the end of the thousand year reign of Jesus Christ.
There is a major difference with the event of the first Rapture though. It is the calling card from Jesus to the world. It is stating and announcing a clear message. It has three major audible events. It is designed as a noticeable seal to all, so none can question that the event took place, yet many will anyway out of closeminded denial of what has just occurred.
It is made clear in the wording of 1 Thessalonians that those that died will be raised first and then in the blink of an eye those that have been faithful to God will be taken up. It will happen with three sounds coming from the sky and everywhere. The voice of Jesus Christ Himself accompanied by an angel and a trumpet. This is the first Rapture and the sign to the world that judgment has begun upon those that are left. Including those that thought they were right with God and are left behind.
Why they were left behind is made clear in the seventh letter to the churches in Revelation 3
“15 ‘I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! 17 You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. 18 So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see. 19 I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.
20 ‘Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. 21 Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.
22 ‘Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.’”
They are left here because they are lukewarm. Saying on Sunday they are for God but living in and loving the world when they are not within the structure they call “church.” Speaking more about sports and the actions of people they see upon the television. Living in and driving their worldly rewards than preparing themselves for this event they just missed. The Rapture.

Why are you speeding your way away from God?

As I look about me more and more I see a falling away it is becoming a rarity to find a true servant of Christ. A prime example is on the roads we drive every day. As you look upon them as you drive down them you actually see a snapshot of faith and belief in God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Titus 3:1 we are instructed to follow ALL the laws of the land. Why? Because no power either good or bad is put into place without God’s approval. Some may cause horrors like Hitler, some may bring a time of peace and prosperity like Reagan. Will others snub their nose at God like Obama.
These are placed here by God to see how humanity will respond through their belief and faith in God. If they just roll over and allow things to happen that they know are against God like the Germans did in the 1930’s and as the American public is now doing. Then God will pass judgment upon them, either here and now or as well as when they stand before Him while He sets upon the Great White Throne.
But back to the main discourse: Obeying the laws of the land, no matter how minor or trivial they are.
Upon the interstate is a thing called a speed limit, this is actually a law that is placed for our safety and wellbeing. I be necessity go five miles over the speed limit. But why is it a necessity? For my own personal safety. Since I know there is someone out here that will use their car as a weapon or even have a gun and someday they may decide to use it because I am in their way and they have no desire to honor or even acknowledge God.
But why am I in their way? Because they have chosen to sin against God. The sin they are committing is by driving well beyond the law. They endanger all about them because they care for none others but themselves and their selfish desires to sleep in or watch a show to name two examples. They should leave earlier and allow for problems upon the road and work within the laws of the land. Laws even though made humans allowed by God. Their speeding is an outright rebellion against God. Yes I said rebellion.
This is why looking at the road is a snapshot on faith. Those that strive to follow the values set forth by God strive to serve God by following ALL the teaching within the Bible. Those that speed are snubbing their nose at God and saying He is not first in their lives.
As they run up my tail or flashing their lights at me. It is not me they are doing these things to. They are doing it to God, because I am trying to obey God.
This need to go fast is another way to ignore God. It is not just disobedience by disregarding the law, but it is an overall selfishness. Seeking only to please themselves and not God.
Now does this mean to support laws that go against God? No it does not, for we are told to place God first in ALL things. If a man-made law goes against God we are to strive to return it to that which reflects God’s will and desires.
When placing God first it must be done in ALL things, so you must plan your day out to not only pray to God but to honor God in all the things you do throughout the day. From speaking to simply showing common courtesy for we are told after placing God first in all that we do we are to love our fellow humans as we would love ourselves. Would you like it if someone was rude to you? Being rude, even on the road, for speeding is rudeness, for they are both sins against God.
