I have only seen the works of Charles Dickens. “A Christmas Carol” is my favorite. I have seen David Copperfield and Nicholas Nickleby. I did some research and found Mr. Dickens to be a very religious person. He disliked those that practiced extremisms of the faith; the Bible to a degree supports this. On things that are important in the faith is to keep Jesus with you daily. This is not extremism and I feel Mr. Dickens would agree. Especially since the Bible states to place God first in all that you do by loving Him with all your heart, mind and soul.
One think I did note in his stories was in how corrupting money was and the power associated with having and seeking after money. In the Christmas Carol Scrooge becomes a philanthropist, giving his acquired wealth away for the good of all and himself. In the other two titles, I mentioned above. David and Nicholas both end being gentlemen, but living modestly. This is how all should live and desire to live, but few truly seek this from life and it is sad to that those simple lessons are watched, but never really listened too or acted upon.
Most actually should live modestly, but most seek after the golden prize. Stuck in a maze seeking the prize at the end only to be shocked when they reach a dead-end, which forces them to go back and try a new route. Not realizing that as they do the maze grows longer and longer, never allowing them to truly reach the goal of the golden prize. That is unless they sell their soul to the devil, becoming selfish, self-serving and corrupt like Nicholas’s uncle.
It is due to this chase that many lose their way and forget that it is not earthly rewards they should be seeking but Christ and the promise of the eternal reward.

Did you know that Daniel was given a prophecy that was not only about the rebuilding of Jerusalem, but the crucifixion?
Well there is in chapter nine of the book in his name. With this prophecy it was established that when the city itself was allow to be rebuilt under the order of Artaxerxes the king of Medo-Persian empire, which occurred over two hundred years after the time of Daniel.
This is one of the prophecies that tell there will be a Messiah and He will be killed, and that is what happened. To us it is now history, which is exactly what the Bible is, a history book of this earth and its relationship with and to God and God to this planet.
People need to start and study and I mean fully study history once again. For how years were managed within ancient cultures to who was who and when things took place in history. For if they did they would soon learn that Jesus is real, His Father is real and we are all answerable to our behavior and actions due to these facts. For they are facts not fiction as those that wish to live in sin wish it to be.
They write off God as a fantasy to legitimize their sins, when all they are doing is cutting themselves off from an eternity of splendor and wonder
Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: the debate with those that have been blinded
Yesterday I had an encounter on Facebook. I don’t even remember what the original post was but what got me involved was someone stating that Obama is a Christian. The person proceeded to say that anyway that disagreed with this view was and I quote: “Self-interest and greed with a side of intolerance will destroy this nation.”
So what the main discourse of the exchange that followed boiled down to how those that have not read the Bible see “Christianity” while those that have read it see it totally differently. Those on the left made it clear to the point of personally attacking me and reducing the conversation to cursing me. That I was totally wrong in my interpretation of the full context of certain Bible verse that they pull out of the Bible totally out of context with what was being said in the Bible at the passages they referred me too.
One said that you should not display piety in public. Where this person got this from was Christ talking about the Pharisees in their hypocrisy.
This person was really messed up. Later again picking parts of the Bible out to suit their point of view, first accused me of doing the exact same thing this person was doing themselves. In particular the situation where the young rich man told Jesus he was doing everything by the Torah and in his eyes was living a righteous live. By this time in the discussion I knew it was a waste of time to inform this person that they once again took things out of context. However, what was most interesting is that this person felt that all that call themselves “Christian” should sell all they had and allow illegal aliens to have it instead, including our job because we profess Christianity.
What was ironic is that I has started our discussion by recommending this person do that themselves. The debated end when I reminded this person of this fact and looked forward to hearing how things were going for their friends since they would no longer have a computer to be able to get on Facebook anymore. What is worse is that they themselves will, per this person’s responses, not lift a finger to help the poor and needy, but they expect all other especially Christians to do this.
I honestly have pity for those that get to this point in their live where they have actually fallen for the leftist propaganda that God is a myth and Christianity is a farce. That all must bow and cater to their wishes and desires because they are perfect and right in all things.
I did inform this person that a myth usually occurs about one hundred and fifty years after someone lives. I then pointed out that at least one letter within the Bible that mentions Christ’s resurrection can be dated to within sixteen years of that very event and many that were alive could refute these facts especially the Romans and the Pharisees, but they could not. Also the fact that it is the most copied document throughout history and only has changed by 2%. I even mention Josephus the historian who betrayed his Jewish faith at the time the Temple was destroyed. How this historian mention the death of the brother of Christ, James and his Christian (tribe) followers.
This is what we are up against folks. They wish to rule the world not realizing that those in actual power do not share power and they themselves will be the victims of corruption. It is only through Jesus Christ and the promised rewards that are not of this earth that true and eternal happiness will be found and rewarded. But to do so they must be willing to accept Christ as their Savior and become truly “Christian.”
This is truly a time to be thankful.
Many who were born in the 1950s, 60s and even 70s. Can attest to the fact that the world we once knew within the United States is gone. As we delve deeper into these times of confusion and turmoil we can rest assured and be thankful that the return of Jesus as never been more visible than it is at this time.
Apostasy within the “church” has never more pronounced than it is today. Selfishness and greed has never been so poignant, yet we can be thankful that it shows that the Bible is true and right.
Wars and rumors of wars have reached a new high and so we can be thankful that God is all knowing.
It is possible, though we cannot be sure, that elements seen as prophecy in the Bible are becoming more of a reality then they have ever happened before. More elements today say it can be so that event predicted within the Bile are coming into reality.
And so we are thankful that God is real. That His son died for our sins upon the cross and made it possible for us to stand before God unashamed as long as we ask Jesus Christ into our hearts and turn our backs upon our sins. For faith without works is dead, but Christ is life if we repent.
So be thankful if it be true that we now stand upon the threshold of the return of the Glorified Jesus Christ, for it is truly something worth being thankful for.
What will the Rapture cause to happen?
To answer this question we must come to realize an important point. That being: that far fewer people will vanish from the earth then people think will disappear. Yet it will still be a noticeable event. It is the fact that it will not go un-noticed and those that were fully sure of themselves that they were going will cause two things to occur.
This first of this will be a falling away from the belief in God. For there will be many that thought themselves pure to find they were unclean and they will find that they prefer the live of a sinner over the life of a follower of God. Who in their mind abandoned them, not realizing that it is not God that abandoned them, but it was they that abandoned God.
In the same token there will be many that have the same realization that they were too were not as pure in their faith to God as they had thought. They will come to realize that certain man-made doctrines that had placed them on the wrong path were just that, man-made and need to be left where they started with humanity. They will then realize that you must take the entire Bible literally and you must read it and come to understand that all the books of the New Testament were written to a believing church body. They must then realize that it was not taking the Bible literally that got them to be left out of the Rapture.
Once then enlightenment takes place they will then go the next step which is to truly follow the teaching of the Bible. It is made clear that billions will do this and that it will most likely lead to a martyr’s death. They will know that they cannot take the mark or allow the chip to be implanted into their body. It will result in starvation, and they will be forced into a horrible time before they are removed from the earth.
Then as the last Christian is killed, the antichrist will show his true face. He will break his peace with Israel and the 144,000 will be spirited away to a safe haven. This will happen when the first three and half years of the Tribulation comes to an end. Then the two prophets shall appear who I still believe to be Enoch and Elijah. For to have them to be true witnesses. They must be able to attest for all of the actions of humanity and they must preach this unto those that do not wish to hear the word of God for the last half of the Tribulation. But all of that is another issue all together.
So the Rapture is the true awakening that will cause billions to come to God and He will receive them.
Biblical Prophecy may not be what you have been told
First off let’s look at the prophecy of the statue in Daniel 2. In particular the legs and feet.
Daniel 2: 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
Now one of the first things we need to consider in this prophecy is this: “: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things”
For starters, where does ”things” come from? For it is not in the original Aramaic. It was a word added. So it should read “subdueth all”
Now officially Rome the original empire never accomplished this goal. So you need to look at the imagery given to us in the dream. Rome is the two legs and includes the feet. Even though the feet are broken apart and are iron mixed with clay it is still the “fourth empire.” Now when Rome turned into a Christian nation and soon after fell apart this fits the imagery of the feet, and since the fall of the original Roman empire these nations that came from the original Rome have accomplished this prophecy for every nation in the world has been broken to pieces and subdued that existed when the prophecy was first given to us when Daniel explained the prophecy to Nebuchadnezzar.
In essence every nation that now stands today was formed over other nations that were before us and literally encompasses the entire globe. Simply all has been broken and subdued. So we are the inhabitants of the fourth empire. This is made even more clear as you continue reading the next three verses of Daniel:
41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Now here is another issue. The word “kingdom” in the Aramaic it is the word “malkum” but most people do not point to this word they choose another word instead that truly means “kingdom” they are forcing their will to God’s word.
“Malkum” is best translated as “realm” which can mean “region.”
In Agenda 21 of the United Nations on November 26, 2011 the world was divided into 10 regions. Which could be what the “ten toes” could represent. Now why would I even bother to mention this?
First there are three regions that are near the central focal point of all of Daniel’s prophecies, Israel. In Revelation thirteen the beast when it is referring to the creature as a nation has three animal references. The leopard, the bear and the lion. The Greek empire, the Medo-Persian Empire, and the Babylonian empire. All three of these Empires have a main focal point that is within a triangle that starts at the pyramids in Egypt to Ankara, Turkey to Tehran, Iran.
Within this area a certain group has been growing like a leopard, they have the cunning and the ferocity of the bear and as for the lion. They profess to be working under the pretense of working for God. They mouth the words and act as if they are “holy”, but the bear like behavior shows them for who they really are. Their goals would encompass three of the ten world regions, North Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia which includes Afghanistan and India. When they succeed they will have removed these three regions making a new one.
Now let’s look more closely at verses forty-two and three. The mixing of the clay and iron is to show that all the nations and cultures will be together yet divided. A prime example of this is the Muslim communities that are literally all over the world. These areas are run under Shiria Law. As an example of this a few year back a U.S. military man entered unknowingly into one of these areas within London, England. He was drinking a beer which is forbidden and they proceeded to kill him. As the Muslims have left in their mass migration out of the middle-east under the guises of refugees they have forced people out of their homes and there is even rumors that there have been forced marriages and that people in these groups have threatened to overrun the current cultures through breeding. This fixes itself strongly to the forty-third verse.
Am I saying to hate these people? No, but am I saying that we shall not be able to get rid of them as many think we can. Too much is happening about us that is pointing more and more toward fulfilled prophecies. Will someone arise from ISIS that wishes to make peace with the world? I am leaning strongly toward yes at this time. Is the apostate church growing and are our children being corrupted? Again I say yes.
Now an apostate church is a church that claims to be “Christian” but is intent on allowing everyone and everything into their walls. Stating it is ok to sin because God loves you as you are. Just for the record this is a lie, per the Bible. Yes you can come to the Lord in sin, but you must be willing to remove the sin and no longer partake of it, but this is not what is being taught.
So as I see it. The nation that is the beast of Revelation thirteen is on the rise and fits it perfectly prophetically. The apostate church is in existence and growing. Any that tries to speak these truths is labeled a bigot, a racist and haters. Yet in reality it is those saying these words that are in reality the bigots, the racist and the haters.
Please ponder these words and think upon them. Never in history has things fit more closely to prophecy then the events that are now taking place, and what I fear most is that those in power already know this to be true.
Who really rejects who God or the people?
There are many that are under this impression that it is God who rejects people. There are also those who are under the impression that God welcomes everyone.
Both are wrong. God loves all and wishes all to turn to Him through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, BUT if you wish to live in sin you are not welcome. It is each person’s choice where they wish to be. If they chose the sin then they reject God. They may think this is not true if they do accept God. Okay, then give up the sin.
………………………………………………………….
That is their response to what I just said. They would rather live in the sin and insist that God take them as they are. Yes I used the word “insist” on purpose.
Just think upon that for a moment. They insist………………..
What is the definition of “insist?”
Well that would be: demand something forcefully, not accepting refusal
WOW!!
That takes some mighty big “courage” to stand up to the Creator and demand and not accept refusal.
What this really says to me is that people have no true concept of who the Creator of the universe really is.
God is not our servant, we are His servants.
God is not our genie, we are here at HIS discretion.
Time to wake up folks. Give up the sin or learn to get comfortable in heat
I am not saying this… The Bible says it… read and see for yourself.
The consequences for not bearing fruit
Below is a part of John 15. This chapter of the Bible is part of one of the private times Jesus had with His disciples. They were as He Himself stated His friends. Meaning that these men were saved. They are the first that can truly be called “Christian.”
They were given the teachings from Him much like the one that I will discuss shortly. They were told the requirements for living a true “Christian life.”
I will start with the fifth verse. “He that abideth in me”
“He that abideth” is “meno” in the Greek. Means “I remain, abide, stay, wait: I wait for, await”
“Abide” – accept or act in accordance with (a rule, decision, or recommendation).
To act in accordance with a rule or teachings.
Within the Bible are the “rules” and the teachings of Jesus and His Father …. God.
Those that truly have Jesus “abide” in them they will without argument, excuses or complaints take the Bible literally. They will know that if it is called a sin it is a sin. They will strife to end their sinning nature. Sure they will stumble and fall, but they will feel guilt, sorrow, grief. If someone doesn’t feel this are they truly “abiding?” Per the Bible the answer is no.
Those that say we must accept those that live in sin. This is opposite what the Bible teaches. It says love them, care for them, but tell them they will not be welcome into heaven if they insist on remaining in their sin. This is not me saying this, this is the Bible, this is Jesus, and this is God. See verses seven and ten.
Living in sin is not abiding. Verse five says if a person does not abide in Jesus they do not bear fruit.
If someone does not bear fruit, what is the result? Per verse two God Himself will removed them from Jesus, from the Body of Christ and the result is verse six. That person is cast off, withered and they will be cast into the fire. The fire is the pit of fire.
You sin you burn. I didn’t say it JESUS SAID IT.
Also key in on this important fact. They are REMOVED from Jesus. These means that they were once part of Jesus. The only way to be part of Jesus is to be saved, born again, a Christian. Yet it says they are removed from the vine and given to the pit of fire. Ponder upon that for a while, and make the appropriate changes within your life to bear fruit for Jesus.
John 15
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Daniel 12:2: my personal view
In chapter twelve of the book of Daniel we are given insight into what is to occur to the people of Israel just before the second coming of Jesus Christ. In verse two it speak specifically of a type or resurrection.
If they believe in a resurrection there differing views on this particular verse. I actually find that mine differs from what I have read. You see I believe in the specialness of the Jewish people. They have a special place in God’s heart and a special purpose in His ultimate plan for all of creation.
To me I see that there is a full resurrection of every single Jew ever born upon the day that Christ set foot upon the Mount of Olives. Both righteous and unrighteous. Nowhere in the Bible does it state when the pit of fire was made or where it will be. The Bible does say that both good and bad of the Israeli nation will be resurrected and by the way the wording is done in way that it will be at the same time. It does say the righteous will be rewarded and that those that turned their back on God will receive their due.
This resurrection is separate from the Rapture and is separate from the resurrection at the end of the Thousand Year Reign of Jesus Christ.
Really??
So the pro-Christmas community is in a tether over Starbucks new cups. Two of my friends on Facebook summed it up wonderfully. The First one stated we are not to get into the foolish arguments. This 100% qualifies as something foolish when compared to what truly needs our attention like the butchering of aborted babies, no decorations on cups is extremely foolish.
The second person said this: To not worry so much about keeping Christ in Christmas but instead keep Christ in Christian which is a 24 hour 365 days a year endeavor.
The mere fact that these cups are an “issue” shows fully that people do not truly understand what it is to be “Christian.”
Per the Bible, first and foremost we are to place God first in EVERYTHING. Every single aspect of your life. Not just a couple of hours on Sunday if you even do that, but in every word spoken by you, to how you drive down the road. What should be on your mind all the time is God, the Bible and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Once you do this the next part required by God is to treat all other as you would wish to be treated. Then the rest of the commandments follow closely behind.
Would you like it if your body was torn from your mother’s womb and then your body was torn apart for money? I didn’t think so. Why are people not upset that the Middle East is being purged of Christianity, the very birth place of this believe system.
So the next time people wish to get upset about something. Get upset at all those folks turning their backs upon God and how the world is more important to them than the One who created it all. As I have said before humanity would be extinct if not for the grace of God.
