fantasy

To the ladies on dating sites (especially Christian Mingle)

Re-post and update

I was just watching the news and they had a segment about how more and more women are finding themselves staying single. The problem stated in the segment? Women are looking for what equates to a fantasy man that does not exist.
I admittedly am on a couple… well a few sites myself, and I would have to agree with this news segments findings. I am in my fifties and am once again looking. So when I look I see someone that interested me. I check them out and look for compatibility. Then I stop dead in my tracks. Most are looking for athletic, muscular, tone men. In their fifties?
I did my research, since I admit I am overweight. Over fifty percent of all males over fifty are overweight. Then you add in smokers, men that are not desirable attitude wise and if you are lucky maybe just maybe two percent of males fit what women are looking for that could maybe fit the fantasy women have made for themselves and so they end up single.
In the segment, the women stated that they are looking for a kind man. From my own observations most kind men fall into the fifty plus percentage that are overweight, and are over fifty percent of that original fifty percent plus. So ladies it is time for a wake-up call.
Do you want the fantasy or do you want happiness? It is time to rethink what you really want in your life. It is time to decide if you want to remain single or if you want to share your life with someone that wishes to share your life with you.
Now to those that partake of Christian Mingle, where again I see women looking for the fantasy male. These ladies disappoint me the most. As I have discussed in other posts of mine is that this life we now live is temporary, basically we are trying life on for size and seeing if we do well with it, then we will move on into an eternal body when Christ returns to earth. This eternal body I will theorize will be at our physical best. In others words the very fantasy man you ladies are looking for. So think on this. If you go looking for that kind, caring, man that will treat you as an equal. Not someone that looks down on you, or abuses you. A man that seeks to have a partner throughout all eternity is someone you should be seeking out, but as I stated above most the men that fit this description are overweight. To me this is a test for you ladies to go through. Can you look past the physical and look to the spiritual? That is what those that go to Christian Mingle should be searching for. I know I do.
So sue me, I am being a bit selfish here, because I would like the chance to share my life with someone special as well. A life that to me will not last for thirty or even forty more years, but billions. It will only work out that way if a few ladies do wake up and start to look for inner quality over outer quality.
Good luck ladies and I wish you the best in your efforts.

I noticed someone looked at this post. I  re-read it. As of this March 2021 I will be celebrating my 6th anniversary with a woman I desire to spend all eternity with.

My recommendation was correct.  Seek a Godly man eventhough they are harder to find than the fantasy man…

Again good luck and know that Jesus is soon to return

“I can’t believe in a fairytale”

re-post
These are the words spoken by many that have never taken the time to learn about Jesus Christ or the Bible or even God.
They listen to people that teach them that Christ is a myth, a fiction, a fairytale.
Many live under the assumption that the Bible did not exist until 1611 when the translation of the Bible into English was competed.
They don’t know its history or the facts that there are documents outside the Bible and physical evidence that Jesus Christ did walk upon the earth.
What is even more astounding is they say they cannot believe in a fairytale yet on the other hand they become fully engrossed into a world or worlds of absolute fantasy.
Examples: Superman. A character that two Jewish men made up and state clearly they based him off of Christ. He has even died and been resurrected.
Anakin Skywalker a.k.a. Darth Vader. In the fourth movie otherwise known as episode one. He is conceived of a virgin birth.
Dune – Paul Atreides Muad’Dib is a messiah-like character.
I can keep going, but I feel I have made my point.
People seek after a messiah even when they deny the one that is the true Savior. It is something that is within us. Something our soul seeks to have filled.
Yet when people deny God and His Son, they become lost, forlorn, confused, bewildered.
So, since they deny the truth, the reality. They fantasize a fiction, a fairytale to believe in. They seek out anything to fill their existence. To make them feel whole, wanted, needed.
So they become engrossed into fantasies and fictions clinging onto to them as tightly as possible. They dress up in costume, identify with the characters.
Spend millions of dollars to see their movies, read their books, their comics and watch their television shows.
All to feel whole and complete a part of the fantasy.
All the while Jesus. A person once again as stated above is documented to have existed outside the Bible.
Who has witnesses that saw Him alive after His resurrection and have letters written to those that saw Him before and after His death no later than a few year after these events took place. At no other time in history has this even happened to any in any other religious group. With a statement of faith and belief that can be shown was made as early as eight years after His resurrection and over five hundred witnesses were still around to dispute these claims yet none ever did.
Then those that state they cannot believe in a fairytale, need to start looking at what they now believe and ponder what fantasy is real and what is not.

The love of the myth

Why are they so enamored of the myth? The superhero, the fairy tale, the science fiction.
Because they have nothing else that fills the need to be better than how they see that they are. They hate the mundane, for that is all that they have ever seen or ever expect to see.
Yet this is not all.
They do not need to look for the excitement and release they find upon the screen or within a novel. Some have been told you can find satisfaction within a church. Yet it is not there. So when they are told to look to the Bible they don’t believe and so laugh and turn away from those that say this.
Instead many turn to the sci-fi and the fantasy. Dressing like their favorite character and wishing to be that very being, yet never able to make it. Never able to fully feel they have accomplished their desire. Then they must return to their dull and how they see it empty life. Not seeing that they are living a test. An examine to see if they are worthy to actually in away live their fantasies.
Here are the things that the perfect body is promised to us:
It is immortal
It can travel great distances in the blink of an eye
It can enter lock rooms.
Yet it will be able to walk and talk and eat just like we do now.
However when you tell them the way to achieve this perfect immortal body they call you a liar and someone who is living in a myth, a fantasy, as they go to learn Klingon and Elven.
The language of the Bible is something worth to learn and to understand. But to them it is a pariah, a blasphemy.
For them it must be the alien, the super being, the vampire for that is where reality is. It can’t be in the Bible and they must do what it says to achieve their glory and satisfaction in that which they seek.
They call the Bible a myth yet it has been shown to be the most factual historical document ever written. But still they would rather accept the myth they have been told for it allows them to live their lives as they want to. They can seek after their lust and pleasures as they want to. Not realizing all they are doing is enjoying the moment instead of planning for the eternal life that we will all live.
The only difference being that those that accept the true myth, the true fantasies will have an eternity of pain and sorrow, not joy and happiness.

They shall turn to fables and fantasies

re-post
We are told to teach the Bible. We are told to stay true to the Bible. We are warned that in time people will turn from God and instead seek after “fables.”
2 Timothy 4:1 – I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
We are told to reprove. – elegcho el-eng’-kho of uncertain affinity; to confute, admonish:–convict, convince, tell a fault, rebuke, reprove.
We are told to rebuke. – epitimao ep-ee-tee-mah’-o; to tax upon, i.e. censure or admonish; by implication, forbid:–(straitly) charge, rebuke
We are told to exhort. – parakaleo par-ak-al-eh’-o; to call near, i.e. invite, invoke (by imploration, hortation or consolation):–beseech, call for, (be of good) comfort, desire, (give) exhort(-ation), intreat, pray.
Why? Because they will accuse us of judging them, because they wish to live in a myth, a fairytale, a fable of their own creation that they call Jesus, but it is not. For they have strayed from the true teachings of Christ and have embraced that which is a lie, because the truth was too harsh for them to handle, which is why we are told to reprove, rebuke and exhort them.
We now live in these times and we need to stand our ground and make it known what is true, good and holy within the teaching of “the Word,” the Bible.
It is now that all that truly call themselves “Christian” must step fully into the light and make all fully known that is true, that is Jesus, that is GOD
