The explanation of sins


In yesterday’s post I went into detail of the sins that were plaguing the city of Galatia. I felt drawn to continue to break down the sins that are also affecting the city of Corinth and the Jewish nation as a whole when referenced in the book of Mark. I will list out Corinth first and if I feel I have not exceeded my personal imposed word limit I may continue straight into Mark, if not I will continue this tomorrow.
So in 1 Corinthians the list of sins vary. As stated in yesterday’s post the reason behind this is that the sins being listed were in general unique for the city being written to, but as we all know are not unique for human kind as a whole, which is why they were also mentioned separately for there was a need to identify them for the entire human race so no one could make excuses as to what this sin or that sin was not listed.
What we must also remember that the base human nature is to live in sin, but we are called to walk in the Holy Spirit which is diametrically opposite that which we as humanity want to do. NOTE: not need to do, but want to do.
Anyway on with the Bible verse:
1 Corinthians: 6:9 – Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
The first three were discussed yesterday so I see no need to reiterate those. Just understand that these three were a common pestilence throughout the gentile world, which is why they were seen so much. So next in line:
Effeminate – malakos – a catamite; of persons: soft, delicate. — Catamite – a boy or youth who is in a sexual relationship with a man. In base terms in today’s world – pedophiles.
Abusers of themselves with mankind – arsenokoites – a male engaging in same-gender sexual activity; a sodomite, pederast
Thieves – kleptes
Covetous – pleonektes – a covetous or avaricious person; one desirous of having more. (examples – expensive homes, cars, exclusive communities)
Drunkards – methusos
Revilers – loidoros – a railer, reviler, abuser
Extortioners – harpax – rapacious, ravenous; a robber, an extortioner
What I find the most amazing was the fact that in Corinth there was a need for an admonition by Paul to “Be not deceived.” Yet here we are today nearly two thousand years after the fact and this same warning takes true meaning in today’s churches.
The statement is clear. None of these that live these sins, or the sins listed yesterday, will be received in heaven, yet many churches welcome these sinners in and say “sure go ahead and live in that sin you’ll still get into heaven.”
As we see here from the Bible itself that by saying, accepting and spreading this lie is actually guaranteeing those that live these sins to damnation. Is this the behavior of those that truly know where they stand with God?
The answer is: No they do not.
Those that truly wish to walk in the Spirit do not hate these people, nor do they wish for them to be damned. They truly desire for these people to know and find God, but this can only be accomplished through true repentance. By fully and completely rejecting this sin and even to the point of entering into a marriage with someone of the opposite sex if they cannot refrain desiring their base want of sexual satisfaction if they are homosexual.
For the Bible makes it clear for those that divorce that it would be best to never marry again, but if you through your weakness can not overcome your desires and enter into sin you must remarry so that you will not be left in sin.
Now here someone will insist that they cannot shed this from them. This is what the Bible says:
1 Corinthians 6: 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
“And such WERE some of you”
This is past tense. They are these things no longer, for they are washed, sanctified and justified in the name of Jesus Christ their Savior.

The call to Biblical freedom and moderation on living


In Galatians 5 we find Paul teaching unto to Gentile Church of several issues they have encounters. One the need or not the need to be circumcised. On that Paul states it was not a requirement and held further that since it came from the Old Testament law you are held to that law if they made it necessary to do it.
Paul does re-emphasis what I like to call the true second command since I feel there has been twelve but people do not wish to acknowledge this even though Christ Himself spoke of this as the greatest commandments. Anyway the second was to treat the neighbor as you would treat yourself. In the Golden Rule model: Do unto other as you would have others do unto you.
Would you degrade or belittle yourself?
Then why do you do so to others?
This goes against God when people do this and is seen as higher than the original Ten Commandments.
What is to follow is the section I have been draw to talk about though:
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
This first part is quite insightful when you really get into it.
First off he beseeches the reader and listener of this letter to walk in the Spirit. This being the Holy Spirit. To allow those partaking of the word to become aware of the difference between that which is the Spirit and thus inspired by God and which is the corrupt and carnal nature of humanity itself. Since all the New Testament were letters sent out to churches of believes in the first century after Christ’s crucifixion we must realize that those hearing and reading this message are Christians being attacked not only by others wishing to degrade and besmirch them, but from the temptations of base human nature. The human nature being seen in the word “flesh.”
It clearly states that when walking in the Holy Spirit it is complete opposite of human desires. He makes it clear that when following the Spirit it allows us to overcome the lusts and you “cannot do the things that ye would.”
In the next verse it round out the give elements of the overall discussion before it:
Galatians 5: 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Then Paul goes into detail on what is seen when living in the flesh:
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
So from the flesh, our human nature, these sins come from. So let’s break each one down so there is no doubt what these sins are and what they equate to in today’s world. Some will be straight forward while others will not be. Hopefully shedding light on the more confusing ones will help people out. In addition others sins are listed in Mark (7:20-23) and Corinthians (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
NOTE: I was once asked why different sins listed and not the same are every time in the different books of the New Testament. At that time I did have an answer. Now I do. It is due to which sins were the most prevalent for these communities to which these letters and gospel were covering. Mark the Jewish community, Galatians to Galatia, Corinthians for the city of Corinth. Each having their own group of major sins which plagued them.
Adultery – moicheia – sex between a married person and someone who is not that person’s wife or husband
Fornication –porneia – harlotry, whoredom (including adultery and incest) consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other this would include also pornography.
Uncleanness – akatharsia – impurity (the quality), physically or morally, not innocent and good: morally pure
Lasciviousness – aselgeia – wantonness, lewdness (outrageous conduct, conduct shocking to public decency, a wanton violence)
Idolatry – eidololatreia – image-worship, worship or service of an image (an image is not limited to a statue, but sports and celebrities)
Witchcraft – pharmakeia – magic, sorcery, enchantment
Hatred – echthra – hostility; by implication, a reason for opposition:–enmity, hostility, alienation
Variance – eris – contention, debate, strife, wrangling
Emulations – zelos – fervent mind, indignation, jealousy, eagerness, zeal, enthusiasm, rivalry
Wrath – thumos – fierceness, indignation, an outburst of passion
Strife – eritheia – (the seeking of followers and adherents by means of gifts, the seeking of followers, hence) ambition, rivalry, self-seeking; a feud, faction
Seditions – dichostsis – division, dissension, standing apart
Heresies – hairesis – a self-chosen opinion, a religious or philosophical sect, discord or contention
Envyings – phthonos – envy, a grudge, spite
Murders – phonos – murder, slaughter, killing
Drunkenness – methe – deep drinking
Revellings – ko`mos – a feasting, reveling, carousal
So now as Paul continued, we look and see what the living of the Holy Spirit should appear to be.
Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Can’t add to this.

Who really rejects who God or the people?


There are many that are under this impression that it is God who rejects people. There are also those who are under the impression that God welcomes everyone.
Both are wrong. God loves all and wishes all to turn to Him through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, BUT if you wish to live in sin you are not welcome. It is each person’s choice where they wish to be. If they chose the sin then they reject God. They may think this is not true if they do accept God. Okay, then give up the sin.

That is their response to what I just said. They would rather live in the sin and insist that God take them as they are. Yes I used the word “insist” on purpose.
Just think upon that for a moment. They insist………………..
What is the definition of “insist?”
Well that would be: demand something forcefully, not accepting refusal

WOW!!

That takes some mighty big “courage” to stand up to the Creator and demand and not accept refusal.
What this really says to me is that people have no true concept of who the Creator of the universe really is.
God is not our servant, we are His servants.
God is not our genie, we are here at HIS discretion.
Time to wake up folks. Give up the sin or learn to get comfortable in heat
I am not saying this… The Bible says it… read and see for yourself.

Through great trails come great saints


All about us the signs of sinning against God become the norm instead of the unusual. It is in these times of unbelief, doubt and outright disobedience that saints have risen to the top. Look at Job and Daniel for example.
In this year a horrific sin was exposed to the light and few saw it for what it truly was. The human sacrifice of babies has returned to this world sanctioned and supported by the governing powers of this nation. From it all other sins have flourished and grown. In return Judaism and Christianity have increasingly come under attack. The symbols of our faiths being torn down in the name of freedom and as a result more and more sin takes dominion and true freedom fades into non-existence.
As this happens fewer and fewer truly follow the teachings of God’s Holy Word.
Could it be by this lack of believe and faith that the Holy Ghost gives a greater portion to those that remain loyal to God?
Does this explain how parts of Acts 2:17 have become fact? Is it plausible that the rest of this verse is not far from coming to pass?
I believe so.
So as we move ever faster into the end times of humanity as a disobedient creation of the One and Only Creator I can’t help but look about and listen for news of actions by the few willing to stand against the masses and face whatever will occur even unto death itself.
Who is willing to stand up and shout: “ENOUGH!!!!!”
Only to have fewer and fewer listen till it is too late and the rise of the Antichrist takes place.
I see elements already falling into place that say: “Soon.. it will be soon.”

The Plea to awaken for time is running out.


More and more in what I see and hear, as I look about me, I believe more and more that the end times are upon all humanity. In Acts2:17 it states:
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
I have no question that I am a dreamer of dreams that deal with the Body of Christ. I know of those that have seen visions. As of yet I am aware of any that have prophesied. There are other things occurring that meet what the Bible tells us to watch out for and I see them increasingly every day.
Events are taking place I never thought possible a decade ago, but now I see them and know ever more that God is real, that Jesus is real and the Son of the Creator of the universe, including this tiny speck of dust on the edge of that which He created.
Too many are lukewarm and I have been tasked to attempt to get these to hear, to awaken once again to the glory of God. I am praying and hoping some have heard and are endeavoring to fix their ways and their place with God.
The Bible says people will listen to false teachings. The newest craze is the “God Loves all” false teachings. The thing is they mix just enough of the truth into what they are saying to confuse and befuddle those that are not aware of the full gospel. Yes God does love all, but there is a “but.” (Couldn’t resist doing that sorry)
Here is what the Bible does say. Yes God loves us, why? Because who wouldn’t love that which they have created. If you write something, if you make artwork, if you build something, do you not love it? The answer is yes, but don’t you just feel there is something you could have done differently to make it just a bit better than it is, yet you leave it alone.
That is how God sees humanity. The think is the little difference needed is already placed within us. We just have to act upon it.
“What is it?” you ask.
It is accepting that Jesus is your Savior and committing to a FULL relationship with God through His Son. To do this you must stop sinning. If you live in a sin and place that sin over everything else, especially God, then you are not repentant, you have no real desire to serve God, for the is sin more important to you than God. This is living a lukewarm life.
We are to place God first in all that we do. To do that you must fully honor His instructions, which are given within the entire Bible. If the Bible state that something is a sin, then you must turn away from this sin 100%. This is living hot for God.
Now all true Christians know that we do commit ourselves 100% mentally, but there comes times when we falter and fall. We trip over our sins, but here is the difference, we feel remorse, we feel sorrow, we feel regret. That is because we realize that God is real, His Son is real and we have, even for a very short time, place God second to our sin nature.
Being human we are stuck in this body, this corruptible, until we are finally called into the presence of God, and it will be then that we will finally put on the incorruptible. It is then that we will finally be able to fully and completely be free from the taint of Adam and Eve’s rebellion against God.
However, do not mistake what I am saying as permission to still live in sin. It is not, you must fight against it, you must pray to Jesus for strength to overcome your weaknesses and seek His forgiveness and glory.
You must leave your sin behind. You cannot serve two masters. It is either the sin or God. The Glorified Jesus Christ makes this perfectly clear in Revelation 3:15-16. God would rather you be cold or black for Him or hot and white for Him. It clear states that for those that live both in their sin and say they are for God will be spit out. “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”
In 2 Peter 2, in John 15 and in the verse above it makes it clear. That there are those that came to Christ, but turned their back upon Him. This believe of once saved always saved which is a man-made doctrine. So is going to confession, another man-made contrivance into lulling you into sin. For anything made of man is corrupt and ultimately leads back to its roots.
This is what Satan wants. He wants all to fail so none will be higher than he. He still believes that he shall defeat God, unaware that he has been living within one of his own lies. The father of lies caught within his own lies, the irony of that is just mind-blowing.
You have to understand that below that Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost will be those within humanity that overcome their sins and fully commit to God through Jesus.
The Great White Throne Judgment will literally weed out the rest.
Those that overcome will be in the service of God, as it should be for we are His creation, but we will be given wondrous tasks to fulfill in this service to our Creator. Can you get your mind wrapped about that?
The end is closer than many think or believe or fear to believe. It is important that you think now, that you act now, that you turn from your sin now. Understand that yes God loves you, but also understand that due to this love He is willing to allow you to live with your choices. If those choices due to free will that leads to the darkness then so be it, but know that is not where He wishes you to be. He wishes you to come to the light, live in the light, and know that if the Bible states a sin is a sin, that it is never meant for the light. Leave the darkness and come to the light and to the glory of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Those that sin really want to live that way


I have stated in the past that selfishness is the ultimate sin. The core of all other sins. Today in a way I was given an affirmation of this believe I have come to so ardently hold to.
I have been reading “The Case for Christ” by Lee Strobel. Within this book he goes and interviews leading theological scholars on Jesus and how He is shown within the Bible. In his interview with D. A. Carson, Carson makes several observation about humankind and sin:
“They’re consigned there (hell), first and foremost, because they defy their Maker and to be at the center of the universe….. It’s filled with people who, for all eternity, still want to be at the center of the universe and who persist in their God-defying rebellion”
This is selfishness manifest. Dr. Carson also states, and I’ll paraphrase here, that if God totally removed His presence from the earth, humankind themselves would turn this planet into hell all on their own. I have to totally agree with this assessment.
Today, as those in power push God further out of the place He started at in this nation, this nation falls further into depravity. Mass killings are on the rise, the willful dissection of babies not allowed to fully develop for greed and profit. While those causing the slaughter and hacking up of these innocent lives sits in a hearing twisting the words of those that oppose their actions to make their actions against these children as if it is nothing at all. Then we have those that demand to bring their sins which were hidden in the shadows and bring them into the light, and force others to acknowledge their acts by demanding they be formalized with a document. Not realizing that this legitimization is actually them thumbing their nose at God and telling him “see we can sin and you must accept us in our sin now,” while God in return is saying that they have damned themselves deeper into the pit.
So yes it is true as God is removed this place becomes more and more like a living hell. Reflect that which these rebels so want and desire to come to pass. So who is to blame that when the time finally comes for the judgment of these people by God Himself to arrive? Who is really sentencing them to hell, God? No. They are casting their own judgment against themselves, not God, nor His Son Jesus Christ.
My first encounter with this believe came when I was a child and would watch John Wayne in “Angel and the Badman” (1947). In it the Quaker family had a saying on the wall:
“Each human being has an integrity that can be hurt only by the act of that same human being and not by the act of another human being.”
In the movie it was attributed to violence, but it can be applied to any act of rebellion otherwise known as sin against God.
God. The being that created all and all humans. God. A being that deserves for His creation to honor this creation and thus bow down and acknowledge that His is God. Is this so much to ask for He who cause us to be?
Yet all those that sin be it murder through mass killing. Be it murder through abortion. Be it murder through the rejection to reproduce as God design all life to reproduce. It is a selfish desire to place oneself over God. So as a result of this selfish self-serving desire and an unwillingness to turn from these sins. It is those that live this way and wish to dominate other human beings that the result will be an eternity in hell. That is how it is described in the Bible. I didn’t say it, nor am I condemning or judging any. They that are living in these sins are doing that to themselves.
Genesis 38:8 – And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother’s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. 9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. 10 And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.
Deuteronomy 27:25 – Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Revelation 21:8 – But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Proverbs Chapter 6 – 16 These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Leviticus 18:22 – Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Mark 7:20 – And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

We are told we shall be hated.


Time and again within the New Testament we are told we shall be hated, persecuted. We are told time and again the time will come when it is common place for those acting godly but they will not know God and we are to avoid them as best we can. For they shall not wish to hear the truth and can tear us down to their level, which is a place we ultimately do not wish to reach.
But we must prepare ourselves to be called names, to be hated, scorned and even killed for standing by the true meaning of the Bible. The Bible which was divinely breathed into the minds of those that wrote down the words given by the Trinity since before the time of Moses to just after the first coming of the Messiah. The words have remained unchanged until recently, when men thought they were better and smarter than the Creator of the universe. The one who designed the atom to the vastness of the cosmos about us, yet these people on this dust speck of a planet when compared to the rest of God creation thought they knew better than He and made false teaches which have led thousands if not millions down a primrose path to damnation.
A sin is still a sin once God says it is a sin. A sin can only be forgiven when you repent of this sin. To repent means to stop it and turn away from it never to do so again. Will people slip up and make mistakes? Yes, but once realization sets in they will feel horror and sorrow over their actions and beg the Lord of His forgiveness. This is how the Bible says time and again it must be, yet humans now say this is not so. Who are they the new gods? For that is what they are making themselves out to be. There is only one God. There is only one Jesus and His love is for those that accept His instructions. Yes He says to love all, but He Himself said you cannot be both a sinner (cold) and a non-sinner (hot) for His love. If you are neither cold nor hot you are lukewarm, living in sin yet saying you are of Christ, and He made clear your fate. He shall spit you out of His Body and shall be lost. (Rev. 3:15-16)
But for those that stay loyal to His wishes, even through the hatred and even death, you shall be welcomed before the Father of all, and He shall know your name.

A true translation of a sin that many now try to no longer call it what it is.


Last week someone attempted to say that I was not using a true translation of the Bible. This person made an assumption and we all know what it means to “assume.”
Needless to say I have felt the need to address this assumption since many go to church and hear someone on a dais or in a pulpit say this is this way and not that way, just because they say so. This is not how we are told to learn and read the Bible. It is each person’s responsibility to read the Bible themselves, and not just one testament or another, but the Bible in its entirety because the old points to new and gives anecdotes to give the reader an insight into the one thing that is truly unfathomable, the mind of the creator of the universe, God.
Now so you can understand how I do things. I start with the King James Version of the Bible. This is the closest easily accessible English version of the Bible. This to me though is not good enough. I also use Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament and a regular dictionary. Why? For starts the concordance gets me to the original word in the Greek or Hebrew. The NT dictionary gets me into the word usage when it was first written down, and the regular dictionary for more contemporary definitions. This is so I can get as close as possible to the Holy Spirit inspired words as they were given unto the writers by God. (2 Timothy 3:17) Look at my post “An insight into God’s power” also. NOTE: due to this method I have found that some current translations of the Bible have been taken out of context and so do not pass the test God requires us to place upon those giving the word of God. Since we are warned that there will be those that wish to teach a false doctrine so as to lead those that do not follow these precaution down a path that could lead to their rejection by God (Galatians 1: 6-8). One such book is the new international version, now I did not call it a translation since it has diverted from the Holy inspired word given by the Holy Ghost.
Now for this particular article I will stick to only those references of a certain sin in the New Testament even though it accompanies other sins that will be listed as well. Why? Because there are those that insist that the Old Testament has no need to be read and had no meaning anymore. This is a fallacy, but that is an issue for another time. I will start with the first chapter of Romans.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Verses 20 – 32 is one topic and so these must be held together as one overall group and the sins listed within them have the same fate as is shown in the last verse, but I will break down keys words to give insight and knowledge through the original language that was used at the time God divinely breathed them into those writing down His words.
Vain – mataioo – to make empty, foolish – which denotes the world of appearance as distinct from that of being. With “mataioo” there is always the implication of what is against the norm, unexpected, offending what ought to be (NTD).
Changed – allasso – to make otherwise, to alter. In particular for this verse it means “to exchange.” (NTD)
Note: for verse 23 peoples desires to live outside the norm as is begun in verse 21 wished to exchange the pure and glorified and incorruptible God for a humanized and thus corruptible god that would condone their desires to live outside the values that are placed upon them by the true God.
Gave – paradidomi – is used here to represent God’s judgement on sinners. God punishes by delivering up to sin (NTD)
Uncleanness – akatharsia – impurity. Of “physical cultic and moral impurity” In these verses Paul per the NTD used this word to mean the alienation of those sinning from God of all the sins listed in this grouping, even though in other cities some other sins are listed. This is due to those sins be more prevalent in those particular cities.
Dishonour – atimazo – to insult, treat with contempt
Against – para – from, in the presence of. Adversative. The sense of “beside,” “beyond,” is also the point of departure for the adversative sense: “without regard for,” “in spite of,” “against.”{Acts according to nature and hence according to creation} [NTD] {1}
Nature – phusis – inherent nature, origin, birth. {1}
Note: in the NTD the phrase is “nature and hence according to creation.” This means God’s creation of all things. The basic nature of a species is to reproduce. Anything that goes against the reproduction of a species can and will lead to its extinction. All life on earth seeks to reproduce itself in their natural state. Only those within the human race have chosen not to pursue the continuation of the species and have adopted lifestyles that have the possible ability to end its own species and so goes against the creation thus against the Creator: God.
Vile – atimia – disgrace, dishonor; a dishonorable use, shame or shameful
Affections – pathos – (subjectively) a passion (especially concupiscence):– (inordinate) affection, lust. A feeling which the mind suffers; an affliction of the mind, emotion, passion; passionate deed, depraved passion, vile passions.
Note: per NTD “’vile affections’ are the scandalous vices of homosexuality.”
Unseemly – Aschemosune – unseemliness, an unseemly deed.
Reprobate – adokimos – failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.
Note: Per NTD – Human existence stands under the divine testing in which it must prove itself. The testing culminates in judgement. Judgment is a test of human life and achievement. So those that partake of the sins listed in these verses have failed to pass the test.
The last verse is very important to understand so I will repost: “32 who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
This leaves no question to those willing to hear and understand. They have been told what they do is wrong, a sin, yet they willingly embrace it so their fate is made clear— death.
Since only sin leads to death. Any that say: homosexuality, unrighteous, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful; is not a sin are mistaken.
Now it is important to say this. That it does also show in the Bible that there are those that left these sins and were one with God. But to leave these sins they cannot partake of them. So to say the term “gay Christian” is an impossibility. In fact it is worse for them then if they deny God and are homosexual. (Rev. 3:15-16). But as promised the verses that show you can leave the sin and be one with God.
1 Corinthians 6: 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
The key statement here is “And such were some of you.” When they truly accepted Christ they were able to shed the sin from them and live a lifestyle that did not include the sins they has placed over God. For God must be first in all things. In addition it must be also notes that it says “some of you,” this places a limiting factor. This denotes that it is extremely hard for those that embrace these sins to leave them and so few actually have the courage to suffer the emotional pain required to turn from these sins. Just think just how much harder it is for them to turn away from these sins when people go about saying “It is ok because God loves you.” These are lies that need to be stopped. Yes God does love the person, but as long these people place their sins above God He will not see them or accept them into His house. (Rev. 21:27)
As you can see that I have gone to the origin of the words as they were written nearly two thousand years ago. So they are close as possible to the God Himself. Now why I say this is the person that said I was using the wrong translation of the Bible, they said this to be accurate:
“…it is your homophobic interpretation of the Bible…”
Now that being said. Since it is as close as possible to God Himself this person actually called God “homophobic.” He hates sin, but wishes those living in sin to leave that sin and they can only do that through truly and wholeheartedly asking Jesus Christ to be their Savior and to cut all ties with their previous lifestyle, which means they can no longer be gay. I did not say this, the Bible, which has not changed for thousands of years has said so and so is a truthful interpretation, and to just allow people to live in sin without hearing the truth of the Bible goes against what all true Christians are called to do. (2 Timothy 4: 1-5).

Could we be living in the end times?


Within the New Testament there comes references to the behavior of humanity that shall be signs unto those willing to see and verify through the knowledge given unto us through the Bible as well as the blessing of the Holy Spirit. For many will see but they shall be blind to the truth by their own desires and wishes. Wishing to live within this world thinking that this is all there is and nothing is beyond but to sit in a cloud playing and singing.
One of this references to how humanity will be acting comes in 2 Timothy 3.
“1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

People display the following traits:
1) Lovers of their own selves – self-centered – thinking only of what is important to them and no others
2) Covetous – caring only for money – greedy, avarice
3) Boasters – an empty pretender
4) Proud – to inflate with self-conceit:—high-minded, be lifted up with pride
5) Blasphemers – speaking evil, slanderous, reproachful, railing, abusive
6) Disobedient to parents – disobedient – inflexible, not compliant, rebellious, insubordinate
7) Unthankful – ungrateful, ungracious, unpleasing
8) Unholy – profane – relating or devoted to that which is not sacred or biblical; secular rather than religious
9) Natural affection – unloving, devoid of affection
10) Trucebreakers – unable to please
11) False accusers – prone to slander, slanderous, accusing falsely, act the part of the devil or to side with him
12) Incontinent – without self-control, immoderate in indulgence of appetite or passion. (immoderate – not sensible or restrained; excessive)
13) Fierce – not tame, savage
14) Despisers of those that are good – for example hating Christians, God, and the Bible
15) Traitors – a betrayer
16) Heady – rash, reckless
17) Highminded – arrogant
18) Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God – for example preferring sporting events, gambling, night clubbing, Television – escapism
19) Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof – being lukewarm (Revelations 3:15-16)
Every one of these signs of people’s behavior is now present. All because the Bible is no longer being correctly taught or taught at all to many. They have no idea what morality is so they revert to the nature state of humanity (Mark 7:20-23).
Another picture into the behavior of humanity in the end times is painted with words in 2 Peter 2.
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. 12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

So as you can see from both groups of verses is that this world is if not already there starting to be there very soon to the image of how people are to behave when it comes near the time for the return of Christ. It does not go well for those that live their lives as is described above. For they shall be left here to suffer the consequences for these lifestyles.
And if you note closely in verse 20 of 2 Peter there will be those that thought they were one with God and able to be caught up within the Rapture and will instead find themselves left here to suffer in the turmoil that will not only devastate the people but the planet itself.

Will those that call themselves “Christian” stand up and be counted?


As I have stated in other posts those that called themselves “Christian” have been too silent in the past. As a result this nation is no longer a nation under God but a nation ran by pagans. Now they will challenge this statement. In fact they already have challenged it. First with Rowe v. Wade, more recently with gay marriage being illegally shoved down the nation’s throat when two Justices that performed gay wedding did not recuse themselves as is required by law due to the fact that they performed the ceremonies. Then when it came out that the aborted babies were being cut up and their organs sold as no more than a human sacrifice and now with the imprisonment of someone standing upon their religious values no matter if they are a government employee or not, they should not be forced to act against their beliefs.
Now there has a been a stir within those that call themselves “Christian,” but is it enough. Are they notifying their congressperson and senator about where they stand? Not enough. Are they doing sit down strikes in front of their county offices? No they are not. It is time for Christian to have marches. It is time for Christians to make themselves heard. It is time to show that Christianity will no longer stand for this nation to continue in its pagan lifestyle much like Rome was in the early centuries of the first millennial after the coming of Christ.
That nation that has conquered most of the world fell apart in a large part due to its debauchery and as that debauchery was thrown into the light and shown what it was and what it meant. That can only be done through the teaching of the Bible and those willing to stand up for it and God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
