The ride

Yesterday I went on one of the rides I like to take with my wife on her days off before I return to work. On this ride I remised about the rollercoaster ride of my faith as well as other events that were caused by or help influence the direction my faith has gone.
This was inspired by the dream I posted in yesterday’s blog post. You see when I was first born again in 1985 I was a siphon soaking in the word of God and all that the Bible taught. In turn God gave my first blessing as a dreamer of dreams (Acts 2:17) and I knew that when I was old I would be witness to the return of Jesus Christ to the surface of this planet before a natural passing of my life.
I was baptized in 1986 in the First Assembly of God church which was on Highland Ave in Memphis, TN. It has since moved. From this time till 1993 I started to encounter my trials and tribulations I did not understand, for most came from within the “church” and those that I thought would support me and help me in my growth toward becoming a better and pure reflection of Jesus Christ my Savior.
This led me into a slow downward spiral in my faith and understanding. A flat spin that had my mind pressed hard against the side of the cockpit of my airplane of salvation. I lost and could not regain control as my life and faith system shattered and broke apart into thousands of pieces.
Two wives and the closure of my family business led me upon a new search of not only job security but a solid rock of faith to stand upon. Towards the end of my second marriage I hit the bottom. Was on depression pills and lost in the internet doing various things that all equaled to escapism.
As I began to struggle to be a single parent in my fifties with a preteen son I also came to realize that my thoughts were not God centered by world centered. I worried about this temporal world than about my service for God.
It was actually just before the straw that broke the camel’s back of my second marriage that my faith started to rise up. I remembered my study techniques I had taught myself and was never told by a mentor or guide as I should have been. For the Bible tells us that we are to help those within the Body of Christ to gain a strong foundation and that can only be gained by reading and fulling understanding the Bible. It was through the use of Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance that I once again started the upward climb away from damnation, for I have always know that all due to free-will can reject Jesus Christ even after they have asked Him into their hearts. This was once again reaffirmed to me as I become stronger in the word when I added the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (unabridged) to my study tools. These ten volumes of in-depth study of the original Greek made it clear beyond a doubt where I need to focus my life. That was with God at the core, not the world, not me, but GOD my Creator.
During this time I knew my sin nature and I also knew from my previous experiences that I could not make the choice logically or correctly, so I left it in God’s hands. This led to my current wife. For God has made it clear he would rather we remain unmarried once we divorce unless it would lead to sin. Well it would so God led the best thing that has ever happened to me to come into my life.
She is and has been a true example of a Christian wife. She has supported me in my growth unlike the previous two had done. As a result I have grown to reflect my Savior as I have never been able to accomplish before. It is all due to God and His Son my Savior that I was saved from the brink of losing my salvation. As is shown can happen in John 15, but most refuse to see this. They choose to live in the blindness Satan has placed before them. For they would rather live of the world than of God. More live in the world than I could have ever imagined. They live a lukewarm existence which is even worse than hating God outright (Revelation 3:14-22).
These people label me as a judge, when in reality I am following 2 Timothy 4:1-5. They are like the image I see on facebook time to time of the Bible verse “Thou shall not judge…. “with the rest of the Bible verses below that is scribbled over removing the teaching that says you cannot judge if you are guilty of committing the exact same sin. In reality it is they that are guilty of judging not I.
This roller-coaster ride I have been upon and taught me that most that call themselves “Christian” are not or in danger of being broken from the vine of Christ by His Father and given to men and then to be cast into hell.
I do not make this blog post to be a voice never heard, but to be a voice in the wilderness as John the Baptist was just before Jesus Ministry nearly two thousand years ago. Most laughed and rejected His words as will. Am I saying I am a “John the Baptist?” Hardly for none shall ever equal John as a prophet, that is made clear in the Bible, but I am a voice upon the winds of the wilderness. A voice that most never hear or they as they scoff and say to themselves “it is just the wind whistling.”
Do I still struggle in my growth being a better reflection of Jesus Christ? Most definitely. The one think that I have learned the most is the more I learn of the Bible the more I see the influence of the world upon me in my lifestyle. When compared to most though it is better than most, but can it improve? ALWAYS, and any that says otherwise of themselves is not only lying to you but themselves.
There is so much I wish I could remove from my life but the way the world is now setup it is nearly impossible, but I deal with as little of those things that make people concerned of not only themselves, but of their standing within this temporal world. I care nothing for what others think of me. I know there are those that laugh at me. I have been told I am not a true Christian in my standing upon certain aspects of the Bible (btw, that is someone judging). I don’t care. I care only to please God, His Son, and my wife.
I seek to finish raising the last of my children into adulthood and pray the rest that are adults will seek me out and ask my advice upon how to become a better reflection of Jesus themselves, but I will not hold my breath for they are above the age of consent and must answer to their own action and just hope that in some way what I taught them and how I now live will cause them to think and make the right choices when it comes time to do so.
This is what this ride has been like for me and I look forward to standing before God upon that holy day that the seven seals starts to be broken. For it is made clear in Revelation 3:10 that those that overcome and stay loyal to Christ will be in a pre-tribulation rapture.
Before 2034 we shall see

My first dream in a while.

Now this is not to say that I have not remembered my dreams or that I haven’t been dreaming. This is my first Christ related dream that I have had in sometime.
I call myself in this blog “dreamwalker1960” for a reason. I am the fulfillment of Acts 2:17:
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
I am an old man and I have dreamed dreams and now I have once again.
This time though was different than any of the dreams I have ever had.
This time I stood beside Jesus Christ and proclaimed to those that looked on that was I His follower. Loudly and proudly, but yet it was still different. Christ stood upon the earth once again. We were in a city, but the city was decimated. The street was covered in dirt and debris. Cars and buses were in ruin, in fact I stood atop a bus as I made my declaration to those gathered to listen before us.
Then there was a roaring sound and I turned and coming down the street was a huge torrent of water at least twenty feet high, made higher has it pushed it way through the broken buildings.
Christ turned to it and shout: “ENOUGH!” and the waters immediately turned back and left the city and then Jesus started walking down the street and with the movement of his hand caused several crushed cars to go flying across the ground and then into a huge whole that was once a part of the sewer system.
My dream ended there, but there was no question. This was the earth after the Tribulation.

God is in everything even a kiss

That was a line in the movie The Count of Monte Cristo (2002). It is hard to find movies that have the courage to even mention God. Especially movies that are morality tales, which this movie is.
Why I mention this line is just how true it is. For when someone truly commits themselves in their faith to belief in Christ as their Savior. This is how they are to show thing of every single action they do. For once you ask Jesus into your life you are His representative upon this temporal plain of existence. If you are not striving to improve yourself in a way that makes you a better reflection of Jesus in every single action that you do. From a kiss, to deciding who is to lead your country. If it does not follow what is taught within the Bible. Then we must change how we are to think to reflect the Bible and thus reflect Christ which in turn reflects God.
So remember you must seek to be a better reflection of Jesus Christ every single day in every single action. So think upon that the next time you kiss your spouse or future spouse or your child. For God is in EVERYTHING even a kiss.

The free-will dilemma: The Judas factor

Judas is one of the most known and obvious examples of free-will ever in Christianity, but he is the one person I personally have never heard anyone ever talk about in this manner. Why? Most likely due to that fact that doing so they loss anyway of escaping the truth. The truth that we can due to our free-will choice decide to literally betray Jesus Christ and ultimately His Father the Creator of the universe.
We must remember that Jesus Christ picked out those that were to be His disciples. Each one had the potential of doing great things in the in service of God. We must also remember that the Bible clearly states that ALL the disciples did miracles. It did not say eleven of them did and Judas was off to the side watching, it was ALL of them. So per the Bible when the Pharisees accuse Jesus of being of Satan it says this:
Matthew 12:24 – But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. 25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: 26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? 27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devilsp l  by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
So since all of the disciples performed miracles and cast out demons in the name of Jesus all were one with Christ and God.
Yet would Judas be allowed into heaven? Those that preach “once saved always saved,” must say yes, nevertheless they can’t for it is made clear that Judas is seen as unclean as is shown in the beginning of the book of Acts.
This in absolute clarity makes it shown that the man-made doctrine of “once saved always saved” is a creation of humanity. A creation that permits and allows sin to live on and not lead to salvation but to the same damnation that Judas is to suffer.
Judas desired the world over Christ, for he sought out worldly compensation for his act of betrayal against the Son of God. This is the same sin that most now suffer from. They seek after worldly comforts and rewards, not realizing that they are in fact rejecting their Savior. Why? Because they do not realize they are doing so for people are not saying what needs to be said and what needs to be heard. Which is why the once proud nation of the United States of America is in dire straits.
Most are living in a religion they think is “Christian,” but in reality it is not. In most places that were once called “churches” people glorify their power over the world and seek out more and more rewards from the creation than from the Creator, when it is Christ they should be asking for help from. In many of these buildings sins are be allowed into them. Sins that caused entire cities to be destroyed in a rain of fire several thousand years ago, yet those within them think they are one with God, when in reality they are one with the betrayer of the Creator of all the universe.
This is all due to our free-will. A free-will that is both a curse and a blessing. A free-will that should be used to place God at the center of every single action that we do. From simple things like driving down the road and following the speed limit. To difficult things like picking a servant leader to not only head our church but our nation. For people have not been correctly taught that God MUST be involved in every decision that we make, not just those that have to deal with a group of people that call themselves a “church,” but from how we speak to others to how we choose to live in a modest house instead of a seeking after luxury.
God and His Son must be in every single thing we do. We must ask ourselves will this glorify God, will this please God, will this honor God? Trust me. This is hard to do. It is something I struggle with every single day of my life, but it is the way we are to be if we truly wish to serve the Creator of ALL the Lord our God through His Son the true Savior, Jesus Christ.

The forgotten Christian culture

Many in today’s society that has its roots in Christendom live in a false image of what was once Christ’s goal for those that accepted Him as their Savior. Most belief and falsely that by just stating they are “Christian” that they are. This is the furthest thing from the truth, and so since it is opposite of that which is holy it is in actuality evil. This is the lie that Satan Himself has nurtured and encouraged.
Since Christianity first came into existence after the resurrection and then ascension of Jesus Christ the church has been challenged to follow the teachings of Jesus and His disciples. This can be seen in the seven letters to the seven churches in the second and third chapters of the book of Revelation.
In today’s society, the lukewarmness of the Christian church is the core element that marks that most that profess to be “Christian.” They go to church on Sunday and then live of the world the rest of the time. This is not what the true Christian culture was meant to be or look like.
1 Peter 4:7 – But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
This is the culture that is not yet happening, but now must become fact. For we are to seek for philadelphia which is defined as brotherly love, love of Christian brethren. Love of those that have accepted Jesus as their Savior not of all humanity. We are to gather together not just on Sunday morning, but to make an ongoing and continual community that is to be able to help each other every single day of the week, of every month of every year till we either go to meet Christ in heaven or our bodies are buried in the ground.
Romans 12:4 – For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
“In honor preferring one another” meaning over those of the world.
“Abhor that which is evil” meaning to avoid anything that can be considered of the world for the world is the domain of Satan and those that are not of the flock of Christ are to be avoided as much as possible, but since this is totally impossible we are to live in peace with all humanity, but not to embrace the ways of the world.
Now though people would rather embrace the ways of the world and those that are of the world. Many “churches” welcome in the sins of the world which we are told to avoid.
This must end. We must return to seeking to deal only with those that show themselves to be true children of God. Yes help and nurture those that have newly come to Christ. Yes seek out to add to the family of God, but we must remove ourselves form the world or the world will overtake us.
2 Peter 2:20 – For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2 Timothy 4:1-5

People have in a way forgotten that Jesus did walk amongst us

This is the problem with most upon this planet at this time. It is not just limited to those that deny the existence of Jesus or God for that matter. It also includes those that call themselves “Christian.” They live their lives as if God and His Son are just a mythology that they choose to exemplify.
This is the furthest thing from the truth though.
An accounting by Senator Tactius who lived from 56 AD to sometime after 117 AD. In his account of the burning of Roman by Nero he states this:
“Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome…..”
Josephus born 37 AD and dies in 100 AD the Jewish historian allied himself with the Romans in approximately 70 AD when the 2nd Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed, made several statements that verify Jesus Christ’s existence. Said this is the least contested of his statements:
“And now Caesar, upon hearing the death of Festus, sent Albinus into Judea, as procurator. But the king deprived Joseph of the high priesthood, and bestowed the succession to that dignity on the son of Ananus, who was also himself called Ananus. Now the report goes that this eldest Ananus proved a most fortunate man; for he had five sons who had all performed the office of a high priest to God, and who had himself enjoyed that dignity a long time formerly, which had never happened to any other of our high priests. But this younger Ananus, who, as we have told you already, took the high priesthood, was a bold man in his temper, and very insolent; he was also of the sect of the Sadducees, who are very rigid in judging offenders, above all the rest of the Jews, as we have already observed; when, therefore, Ananus was of this disposition, he thought he had now a proper opportunity. Festus was now dead, and Albinus was but upon the road; so he assembled the sanhedrin of judges, and brought before them the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ, whose name was James, and some others; and when he had formed an accusation against them as breakers of the law, he delivered them to be stoned: but as for those who seemed the most equitable of the citizens, and such as were the most uneasy at the breach of the laws, they disliked what was done; they also sent to the king, desiring him to send to Ananus that he should act so no more, for that what he had already done was not to be justified; nay, some of them went also to meet Albinus, as he was upon his journey from Alexandria, and informed him that it was not lawful for Ananus to assemble a sanhedrin without his consent. Whereupon Albinus complied with what they said, and wrote in anger to Ananus, and threatened that he would bring him to punishment for what he had done; on which king Agrippa took the high priesthood from him, when he had ruled but three months, and made Jesus, the son of Damneus, high priest.”
In what is called the “testimony of Flavius Josephus,” which is doubted by those that wish to deny Jesus is real said this:
“About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he was one who performed surprising deeds and was a teacher of such people as accept the truth gladly. He won over many Jews and many of the Greeks. He was the Christ. And when, upon the accusation of the principal men among us, Pilate had condemned him to a cross, those who had first come to love him did not cease. He appeared to them spending a third day restored to life, for the prophets of God had foretold these things and a thousand other marvels about him. And the tribe of the Christians, so called after him, has still to this day not disappeared.”
Josephus also said this about John the Baptist:
“Now some of the Jews thought that the destruction of Herod’s army came from God, and that very justly, as a punishment of what he did against John, that was called the Baptist: for Herod slew him, who was a good man… Herod, who feared lest the great influence John had over the people might put it into his power and inclination to raise a rebellion… Accordingly he was sent a prisoner, out of Herod’s suspicious temper, to Macherus, the castle I before mentioned, and was there put to death.”
All of this points to the reality of Jesus Christ. Yet many that call themselves “Christian” have no concept or even truly know the teaching within the Bible. Why is this? Because He is not seen in person, nor heard in person, so not truly real to them. This makes Him a myth. A fairytale and this is what many wish Jesus to be.
This is why you have false teachers making millions and teaching them to nothing but selfishness and greed. Causing millions to think only of themselves and their own wants and desires. This is totally opposite the teachings of the Bible.
Too many count on others to tell them what the Bible says for they are “too busy” to read the Bible themselves. How can people count on others for their own personal standing with the Creator of the universe is something that is still mindboggling to me.
Jesus walked upon this earth in human form. Why? To die for your sin and mine. Jesus rose from the dead three days later and was seen walking amongst humanity for forty days. He was seen by the surviving disciples. He was seen by over five hundred people and their families all at one time during this time before He ascended into heaven.
During this time Jesus said this unto to Thomas:
John 20:29 – Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Soon Events will take place that will cause there to be those that will be less blessed than those that now live and belief. There will be those that will have to do more works due to His presences being reaffirmed with all creation. Their faith will be like that of Thomas. They will believe for they have seen Jesus or seen His actions upon this planet that being what is called the Rapture. As is reaffirmed in to letters to the churches in Revelation:
Revelation 3:10-11 – “Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.”
Deny He is real by placing yourself at the core of your life and you have allowed others to “seize your crown,” and you will not be spared from the “trial that is coming on the whole world.”

The “free-will” dilemma continued

At the end of last Friday’s post I ended it with the following verses from the Bible:
Matthew 7:20 – Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
I have had a burden on my heart since placing these precious words our Savior spoke nearly two thousand years ago. What I was drawn too was verse 22:
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?”
Now in particular it is the question of “and in thy name have cast out devils?”
I am reminded of when Christ Himself was accused of being the devil. His answer was this:
Matthew 12:24 – But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. 25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: 26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? 27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
So here is the key to my point. These people in all honesty will stand before Christ and ask this question of Him and He will respond:
“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
When we are one with God through the saving grace of Jesus Christ, He Himself made it clear, that we will be able to do anything in His name even to the point of moving a mountain. So if these people in all honestly in their hearts say that they prophesied in His name, if they cast out devils in His name and did wondrous works in His name per Matthew 12 they did. Why? For they were against Satan when they did it. They were one with God through Christ’s salvation.
Now once again I draw your attention to John 15 and in particular these verses.
1- I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
It is made clear in these verses these key points:
First Jesus Christ in the “true vine”
Second God His father is the “husbandman” which means he is the one who controls the growth of the vine, His Son, and the Body of Christ which are those that profess He is their Savior.
Third is the warning that “every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away.” It does not go to the glory but the warning. Why? To place the emphasis upon the fact that we can be removed. Remember this is Jesus Christ Himself speaking to his disciples. They are His personally chosen and yet He makes it clear that there is a cost for not staying one with Him. Did not Judas learn this?
Fourth is the counsel for those that are faithful and do bear fruit, but with the understanding that by doing so there will be times of trials and tribulation. Why? Not only to strength those that are bearing fruit for God, but also to see if you can handle the pressures that come with this great responsibility. When we show we can overcome and stay faithful unto Christ, God rewards us by causing us to bear even more fruit for His glory than before.
Fifth is the statement of purification and that is reached through knowing the words of Jesus Christ, which is the Bible. This also implies that if you do not maintain insight into Christ through the Bible you can become unclean.
Sixth the statement of commitment. “Abide in me, and I in you.”
Abide – meno – I remain, abide, stay, wait.
Stay in Christ, this implies that we can leave Him, which is a statement of free-will. Christ has made it clear that He would never leave us (Matthew 28:18-20), He never states we cannot choose to leave Him, but as this statement from Him shows it is possible. But he also makes clear in Matthew 28 that we must do this by “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.”
Seventh is why we must stay with Christ. “As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” It makes it clear that we can ONLY bear fruit if we keep Christ constantly and continually within us every day. Not just on Sunday but 24/7/365. Yet this is not what most do that state they are “Christian.” In verse five Jesus re-emphasizes just how important that we continually keep Him within us constantly and shows that without Him there is no fruit. In fact he states clearly that without Him in our lives we can do nothing that is precious unto Him.
Finally Jesus once again returns to the warning. He starts with a warning and He ends with a warning. This makes it plainly clear that we can loss our connection with Him as is unmistakably spelled out in verse six.
“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”
This returns full circle to Matthew 7:22-23:
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
So there are those that were saved. They were born again. They let Jesus Christ abide in them. Then through their free-will they decided that the world was a better place for them. They left the word of God behind. They chose to follow creation over the Creator. They chose to follow and be more happy with the temporal than the eternal.
So even though Jesus loves us and wishes us to stay with Him people in their free-will can and do reject God and they do not realize it for they will be expecting to get into heaven and will confess the fruits that they once bore for Christ, but He will turn to them and say:
“I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

God is to be the first in ALL that you do

This is the one thing that most either do not know or have chosen to ignore or forget. Why do I say this?
I say this because people have not realized what they have been doing this year when it comes to their faith and their belief. I will once again post a verse from the Bible that shows what I am referring to and explain.
Mark 10:42 – So Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. 43 But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Now “Christians” state that they follow the Bible and in so doing follow Jesus Christ. Now you will note that this passage starts with “So Jesus….said.” Okay, so if people truly follow Jesus then they should in servitude listen intently to these words which are to follow. So what does Jesus say to do?
He starts by making a comparison he shows all what not to look for in a leader for Christians. Now if the United States of America is a “Christian” nation, which it originally was, than we should avoid any that fit the description of world leaders. So if someone that leads lords it over their people. If they flaunt their authority over their constituents then they should never be re-elected or elected in the first place. Yet that is how those in Washington and in particular all those that are now left running for the highest office of this nation are all doing. Then they should not be supported by those that say they are true followers of Jesus Christ. Because Jesus Himself makes it clear that this is not who Christians should support.
Jesus then goes on and states clearly who Christians should pick to be the leaders of a “Christian” nation. That being:
“Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else.”
There were at least three candidates that fit this build. The last was Ted Cruz. Yet millions that say they are “Christian” voted for the world and not the servant leaders. Yet millions rejected the teachings that came directly form Jesus Christ Himself. Those that call themselves “Christian” rejected with glee and joy the teachings of the person they call their “Savior,” and have embraced a human of the world that they now call their “savior.”
Woe be unto those that reject their eternal master. Woe unto to those that pick the things and the people of the world over their Heavenly Savior for they are adulterers to their Holy Groom.
James 4: 4 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. 5 Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him. 6 And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. 9 Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.
Matthew 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 22:37 – Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: The dilemma

I have been in a quandary since the withdrawal of what I consider the last candidate that showed Christian values when Ted Cruz dropped out of the race. Now I am aware of what has been said about him and I have made it clear in the past I had my own reservations about him. However, I know without a doubt that there is none running that can truly say they are “Christian” now. There will be those that will challenge this belief, but I base my belief solely from the Bible and what it teaches. Again there will be those that will challenge this, but I will not be swayed in my understanding of the word of God.
I see time and again those that state they are one with God, but their words and their actions tell a different story. What the Bible makes very clear is that God is to be the center point of our existence. Then I hear people say “where does the Bible say anything about voting?”
Didn’t I just say that GOD is to be the CENTER of ALL that we do? This includes every action that we make. Every choice that we make. Does not “all” include voting? Yes it does.
This is the mentality of those that think they are “Christian” these days. They are so blinded by the words of others and their own lack of knowledge of the Bible that they do not see their own blindness. Why do you think it is called “blindness?”
2 Corinthians 4:3 – If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. 4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
Revelation 3:17 – You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.
This is the state of many that have stated their choice for those that are now left running for president in the United States. In the Democratic Party, a party that openly supports sin, condones human sacrifice and denies the very existence of God. There is a liar and criminal running yet most in her party have supporter her. The rest support a person whose beliefs is to take form others and give to those that the government deems worthy of it. This is slavery and those that are taking and wishing to receive are the new masters in this slavery. But again they do not see it this way for they are blind to the truth because of their own selfish desires and lusts. For to them they are their own god and all must revolve around them. They do not see that they are sinning most grievously against God. This is understandable to them since most of them deny there is a God.
Then we have the person that many that think they are “Christian” have voted for proclaiming him the savior of this once proud nation. They do not see that they have placed this human above God and above the true Savior Jesus Christ.
As “Christians” we are to place God at the center of ALL. Every action especially actions that affect how we are to be lead within a nation MUST be centered upon the teaching and values of those taught by Jesus Christ. This includes those additional teachings that were given to us by the apostles, those personally chosen by Christ Himself to spread the word of salvation and humble service to God though Jesus Christ.
Now what many did not see due to their blindness is that this last eight years has been a judgment by God against the United States of America. For this nation has sinned grievously against Him.
This election was God’s test to see if we have learned from His judgment. The answer was made very clear as one by one those that professed to be a servant of God were rejected by the primary voters in state after state.
Then we came down to Ted Cruz. A human, a flawed man. A man who did not commit adultery. A man who did not lie. A man that is accused of adultery by someone that openly admits to truly committing adultery and states plainly that he will continue to live in this sin. A man that didn’t lie is accused by someone that cannot say the same thing on the same topic and so in fact is continually lying.
Yet this sinner is who the people have chosen. This man that is a true definition of the word “heathen.”
It is clear now that it is more judgment that is going to come raining down upon this once proud nation. A more severe judgment. Yet still those that are blind attack those that are warning them that this is not going to end well for all.
Yet the blind are smug and feign righteous indignation. Making themselves out to be better and smarter than those that have read the Bible and see the signs of Biblical history once again repeating itself.
As I see this, hear this and read this, I can come to only one conclusion. I must vote for God. I must vote for Jesus.
Now comes the comment from the reader: “But you just said there are none that are Christian running.”
That is what I said. That means I must vote for Jesus. I will not vote for any in the presidential campaign. I will go to vote. I will vote for those that are running for congress, senate, state offices and local offices, but I cannot in good conscience vote for any that openly oppose God and His Son my Savior.
Does this mean I will be handing this nation over to the Democratic Party? Most likely, but it is not due to my actions that this will happen. It is due to every single person that calls themselves “Christian” and forgot to place God at the core of their lives. It will be the fault of every person that says they are “Christian” and voted for someone that is more a reflection of Satan than of Christ.
True Christians would only seek out someone that is a servant leader as is required by the teachings of Jesus Christ Himself.
The majority has chosen judgment over salvation. God has ask for our repentance and it has been resoundingly rejected. Now we are to enter into an even more harsh judgement. Does that require more of our freedoms to be taken from us? Yes it does. Does this mean we are to suffer financially? Yes it does.
For God is to be the center. Not ourselves, not our possessions, not humanity, but GOD. If this means we must suffer to awaken to the truth then let it happen. Then let those that say they are “Christian” really come to a realization of who it is they are really worshiping, for it is not God nor His Son.

The “free-will” dilemma

This is one of those things that people just don’t truly understand.
When God created Adam He placed within this human the ability to use “free-will.” This has been passed down to all humanity. It is the ability to use our minds to decide on our own what we wish to do.
When Eve partook of the tree of knowledge of what is right and what is wrong it was a test of the very gift given by God to His most important creation of all. God knew that both Eve and then Adam would fail. God knew that great trials and tribulations that would follow for the billions of lives that were to exist from that moment that he decided to make humanity until the time of the Great White Throne Judgment.
Yet God was still pleased that He created us. God still loved and currently still does love us. It is His desire that each person come to have a personal relationship with Him and His Son. Here is the thing that people wish to ignore due to having “free-will.” Many have convinced themselves that once they are saved and have entered into this personal relation with God and His Son that “free-will” is suddenly gone. It no longer has any affect upon their lives.
Here is the one thing that Catholicism did get right, but their manner of dealing with it actually compounded the problem instead of truly trying to address it through the need of going to confession. By going to confession actually makes people feel they can continue to live in their sin and have no need to be truly repentant.
To be truly repentant means the person must leave the sin behind completely. Is this easy? In most cases no it is not. Why? Because of free-will. Humanity due to the gift of free-will must deal with this gift which at times can be a curse on a daily basis.
Since the gift of free-will never leaves us we daily make choices that affect how we do things. It is though reading the Bible and learning the way that God truly wishes us to live that we teach ourselves a type of discipline in how to control our free-will. That is why there is reference within the Bible of many that are one with God that turn their backs upon God due to free-will. Look at David for example. Someone that as a child was beloved by God for his love and his faith in the Creator of all. He becomes the first king of Israel to totally unite the twelve tribes. However, he turns his back upon God and through his free-will lusts after his neighbor’s wife. For the terrace to where Bathsheba bathed could be seen from the palace which was right next door. David then committed murder to hide his sin of adultery. Yet was he not at one time in harmony with God? Did not God bless him and give him the insight as a mere child into how to slay the Nephilim Goliath.
This is the acts of free-will and they can happen after you are in a true relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ. As is witnessed in John 15 you can be of the vine of Jesus Christ. Saved, born-again, yet you can turn your back upon God and bear no fruit in your salvation. God Himself will break off your branch from Jesus and give it back to humanity which will then cast you into the fire which is a simple of the pit of fire where all go that do not truly follow Jesus Christ.
David realized his sins and repented of them as best he could. Bathsheba also repented and from them came Solomon who built the first great temple to God. And from David’s line ultimately came the ultimate salvation which is Jesus Christ.
Free-will is our ally and at the same time it is our enemy due to all knowing what is right and wrong from that fruit that Eve and Adam ate so long ago. Without the knowledge and the teachings of the Bible we are to be tested by our own free-will. How we overcome these tests that our free-will puts us through daily is our ultimate test of our faith and belief in our Creator and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
Just because we have asked Jesus into our hearts does not mean we can do as we wish and however we wish to live our lives. If we do this we will quickly fall back into the world and our selfish and self-centered desires and wishes. This is why David and his sins as king affected all of Israel. How does our ignoring free-will and the consequences it is causing any better? What ripples are we causing by not following the teachings within the Bible? That is obvious if you listen to the news and look about you at things that are effecting your lives.
This is all the results of free-will and not learning to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ that is the Bible.
Ponder that for a while.
