Intro

This is Dreamwalker1960. As a reminder you can read the transcripts of all my podcasts at dreamwalker1960.com. You can use most podcast platforms if you wish to listen. All you need to do is do a search for Dreamwalker1960.

Until further notice the messages that accompany this notice will be part of the “Come out of her my people” series. They will be harsh. They will cause people to get upset. This is as it should be. They must question the way they think and live. So, they can seek to follow Christ and not the world.

Discussion

We must come to an understanding of the biblical meaning of the word “works.” However, to do that we need to hear these verses:

Revelation 20:11-12 NKJV – Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

Matthew 16:24-27 NKJV – Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

It must also be said that in every single letter to the seven churches in chapters two and three in the book of Revelation the statement of “I know your works” makes it very clear that “works” are the measure we are to be judged upon for our placement within either the service of God through Jesus Christ or the lake of fire and eternal damnation.

Any who say that “works” are not required just called Jesus Christ Himself a liar at least eight times over. Any who calls Christ a liar have listened to the true lair: Satan and it is he that they worship and follow, not God and especially not Jesus Christ.

How is the word “works” defined within the Word of God:

Works – G4234 – praxis – deeds, practices, action, function, an act.

Simply put behavior.

We are all given free will. This is the core of works, action, behavior. There are two extremes of works going on at this time. The religious works which cause parent to kick their children out of their lives because their religious behavior drove their offspring into the arms of Satan.

1 Timothy 3:2-5 NKJV – A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?);

Now yes I know this describes the requirement of a bishop. However, does this diminish he who is head of a so-called “Christian” household? As I have shown and taught in the past. The answer is no. Therefore, a parent shouldn’t without a concerted effort cast out a child they themselves led astray with their own overly strict and most time incorrect behavior.

Once they are forced to cast them out. For it is made clear we are not to associate with those that live in sin per 2 Timothy 3:1-5. The parents are to then turn to themselves and seek repentance from God for it is THEY that have sinned against God for being poor parents. Which resulted in their children to fall away from salvation and chose damnation instead.

For each person is responsible for their own behavior. If they embrace sin and say sin is welcome within their lives and they make no effort to leave those sins which will result in damnation. Especially once they achieve the age of consent, then their fate is their own responsibility to address.

On the other extreme we have those that willfully embrace damnation. Actually fully aware that they are following and worshipping the fallen one: Satan. Their goal is to seek after worldly wealth and earthly recognition. For they honestly believe that their names will be known by all for thousands of years. They hear the names Alexsander, Napolean, Stalin, and yes even Hitler and believe their names will be remembers as well.

Well the Bible says this:

Isaiah 65:17 NKJV – “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.”

Many, that even call themselves “Christian” have fallen into this trap of continuing a name. I once encountered a man that was extremely disappointed that his last name would not continue because he had no male offspring and begged people to pray for him to help him to achieve the birth of a boy. Most that replied to him were in agreement with him. This is sin. This is against God and wishing to be worshipped by your children. Those that do this are making themselves a “god.” Truly sad. Only one name deserves to be known by all and forever: Jesus Christ. For none other than Jesus Christ and God  will be remembered.

Those seeking to be remembered as well as following other traditions of men are displaying works, behavior, actions, which we are to be judged by. This is why it is so very important that each and every person STUDY the Word of God for themselves. That way they can learn which sins will deny them from eternal joy in the service of God through Jesus Christ. For it is made extremely clear that there are some sins that will never be allowed to enter into the kingdom of God. Therefore, any who embraces these sins in their everyday live shows that this is their actions, their behavior, their works.

Most have willfully excepted damnation even as they say the name “Jesus” on their lips, defiling it and taking them even further away from God.

Then we come to the middle of the road folks. Those that go about their lives as if all is as it should be. They go to a job. They plan and seek after worldly wants and desires. Like for example. A fancy house, a luxury vehicle, fancy clothes. They think they are followers of Jesus Christ. But in reality they are worshipers of mammon. They live in darkness, thinking they are in the light of God, when this is the furthest thing from the Truth.

Matthew 6:19-24 NKJV – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

When people do this. This planning and seeking after fine houses and places to retire. They show where their heart is, and it is not with God, but here in this world. This again is behavior, actions, and works. They have willfully chosen to make themselves enemies of God.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

For what they seek after doesn’t come from God at all.

1 John 2:15-16 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

“Pride in our achievements and possessions.” All is of the world and of Satan. And people through their actions and behavior aka works have made their eternal choice. Which is not what most believe is or will be, to their sorrow.

2 Peter 2:20-22 NKJV – For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A DOG RETURNS TO HIS OWN VOMIT,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

It is our daily live, our daily attitude, our daily choices, which are all written down in the books of our lives. Books that will be opened for those of the second and saddest resurrection. For Christ makes it VERY clear how we are to live and act.

Luke 16:13-17 NKJV – “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.

Matthew 5:17-19 NKJV – “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

From Mathew five verse twenty-one through chapter 6 verse twenty-four. We are given commandments to follow:

  1. Make peace with those you trespass against you and quickly. (Matthew 5:21-26)
  2. Do not even look at a person of the opposite or even same sex with lust in your mind. (Matthew 5:27-30)
  3. You can only divorce due to sexual immorality. Otherwise, you cause yourself and the other to enter into adultery. (Matthew 5:31-32)
  4. Do not swear an oath upon God or anything else for that matter. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. (Matthew 5:33-37)
  5. Do not seek revenge. If someone slaps you turn the other cheek. If someone sues you concede and give him double what he asks for. If someone insists you go with him for a mile go two miles with him. If someone borrows from you do not expect it to return it. (Matthew 5:38-42)
  6. You shall love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those that spitefully use you and persecute you. (Matthew 5:43-48)
  7. Give in secret (Matthew 6:1-4)
  8. Pray in secret and how to pray (Matthew 6:5-15)
  9. Fast in secret (Matthew 6:16-18)
  10. Live a needs-only lifestyle and reject mammon (Matthew 6:19-24)

These are all the commandments we are to follow as best we can daily. This is our actions, our behavior, our works, and it is upon these we will be judged. If we stay within them we will not face judgement and be welcomed in the first and greatest of resurrection. Where we will serve with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for one thousand years. If people don’t do them and fail in their actions to follow God and instead embrace and follow lies, they will awaken to the second resurrection where those that do, will stand before the Great White Throne crying and weeping for then the books of their lives will be opened for all to see, and all will be judged accordingly. Pray that the heavenly treasures outweigh the chaff. For if the latter is all that is left then they will know that their name is not written in the Book of Life.

Revelation 20:15 NKJV – And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8 NKJV – But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Know that idolatry includes mammon worshippers:

Ephesians 5:3-5 NKJV – But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

God Bless

Call to Discipleship per the Word of God (part 3)

In the first part of these special posts, it was shown through the Bible that we are:

  1. Called to make disciples not just save people. Just saving them will actually result in them ending up no longer saved, but damned.
  2. That to be a True Disciple of Jesus Christ and thus a True “Christian” we must follow the command given to the young rich man in three different gospels because this is mandatory if we truly wish to be a disciple of Jesus Christ:

Mark 10:21 NKJV – Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

In the second part of these special posts, it was shown through the Word of God that we are to teach the True Word of God and Gospel. This will result in those doing so being hated by not only those that deny God and in turn His Son Jesus Christ. However, we must also become hated by those within the religious communities. For they do as those that deny God do. They seek after mammon and as disciples we are called to remove as much mammon as possible from our lives to the point of living a needs-only lifestyle. This would result in those that are True Disciples to be hated to the point that they would become repugnant to all for teaching the True Gospel.

In today’s special post we continue this part of the same lesson. At the end of the last lesson, we saw a list of those that were killed for preaching the Truth. Starting with Jesus who then rose from the dead on the third day. Then the list of all the apostles except John, and many of the disciples called to follow Christ in the first hundred years after Jesus ascended into heaven.

They died not only because they were teaching to heathens, but they also died because they taught to those that called themselves followers of God, but what they really worshipped was themselves and their mammon.

People don’t want to hear that they are living in sin within the religious community. Especially those that believe with all their hearts they are going to heaven. When they are actually going to hell. This obviously upsets them. Because how they wish to live, and think is more important than God. This was played out as I posted these special posts. I received tons of likes and shares for the first post. But the second post received hardly any.

There were plenty of responses. Mainly from those either denying God and Jesus. However, there were those that wish to impose their ideas on how to be a disciple. In other words, they wish to add to the Word of God.

Deuteronomy 4:2 NKJV – You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

In these posts you will see nothing added to the Word of God nor will you see anything taken away from the Truth.

To be a True disciple of God per Jesus Christ Himself we MUST live a needs-only lifestyle and spread the Word of God as well as help those in need.

Per Jesus Christ Himself it is either God or mammon. Mammon is an Aramaic word and was used and kept within the Word of God on purpose because it means many things all at once.

Mammon is riches which is jewelry and fancy clothes which we are not to seek after, because this is something the world seeks after, and anything form the world is from Satan.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT – Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Mammon is money. Therefore, any that horde their earthly wealth is like the rich man in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16. In Luke 16 this is also stated by Jesus Christ:

Before we talk about the word “esteem,” we will continue to define the word mammon,

Mammon is possessions like all the junk throughout people’s houses that do nothing but gather dust in rooms that aren’t even used every day as well as multiple and expensive vehicles. Vehicles are cars, trucks, boats, RVs, jet skis etc.

Mammon is property like a huge house or multiples houses (RVs qualify as a house) and land filled with nothing. One small house is all we need to live in. The purchase of anything else is a waste of money that is to be used to spread the Word of God and to help those in need. Thus, those that call themselves “snowbirds” and have a house in a northern state and another in a southern state are more accurately described as “hellbirds” for that is where they are heading: to hell.

Jesus made it clear it is God or mammon. For the world esteems those that have an abondance of mammon. For it shows they are fully committed to worshipping the world and not God as well as worshipping themselves.

James 4:4 NKJV – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Those that wish to truly be a disciple of Jesus Christ are to give up all that is earthly for what is holy. They are to place God first above all else and to place others before themselves (Matthew 22:37-40). This cannot be accomplished when keeping mammon that goes beyond our needs.

A need clothes us till tomorrow, not a huge closet filled with tons of clothes that gather dust from never being worn.  A need feeds us till tomorrow. A need shelters us to tomorrow. This is a small house, a cheap vehicle and cheap clothing to cover our nakedness. All else is mammon and what the world esteems.

All else is an abomination in the sight of God and thus equal to the antichrist and worthy of being call damnable and a curse. Therefore, all that pursue them are not going to an eternal life in the service of God. They are the lukewarm and have been vomited out of the Body of Christ for they are headed to the lake of fire for they have rejected to becoming a True Disciple of God through Jesus Christ. Thus, are not worthy of the title “Christian.”

Call to Discipleship per the Word of God (part 2)

Earlier this week I began these special posts about seeking after to becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ per the Word of God. In the first post I showed per the Bible itself that the core of discipleship is self-sacrifice and the requirement to downsize.

Luke 14:33 NKJV – So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

Now. I wish to key in on the second major element of becoming a True disciple to Jesus Christ.

Luke 14:27 NKJV – And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

Most do not fully understand the importance and the true meaning behind this verse. Yet it is extremely key to being a True disciple to Christ. Again, Jesus Christ Himself tried to explain this to help those that truly sought to be a True and complete “Christian” to come to understand. For you don’t listen. You can not be a disciple and so in turn you are not truly “Christian.”

Luke 9:57-62 NKJV – Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.” And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” Then He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.” And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.” But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

When accepting to become a True disciple of Jesus Christ. A True “Christian.” We are not to look back at our past or how we lived our earthly lives. Most never do this and so in Truth are not “Christian.” For we are not a “Christian” until we become a disciple.

The True cost of taking up the cross is rejection from the world and the religious community. For the latter was  and still is filled with those that seek after what is esteemed by the world and understanding that the laws are still in effect.

For when you teach the True Gospel you are not making people happy in how they now live, but you make them uncomfortable, and they will hate you just as they hated Jesus Christ and hung Him upon a cross.

You must accept and become something that will cause you to be laughed at. Called names and ridiculed just as the apostles, and the prophets were.

Matthew 5:10-20 NKJV  Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Salt is bitter. So, then the Truth is bitter.

If what you are listening to is sweet. It is people pleasing and is twice cursed for those that speak it.

Galatians 1:6-10 NKJV  I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

The True cost of carrying the cross:

Jesus Christ: wiped brutally, and crown of thrones forced onto His head and then hung upon the very cross he was forced to carry.

Peter: crucified upside down.

Matthew: while preaching the True Gospel in Ethiopia was killed with by the sword.

James the lesser: thrown from atop the temple, which didn’t kill him and then was beaten to death with a club.

James the great: placed on trial by the religious community of Jerusalem and beheaded.

Bartholomew also known as Nathaniel was taken in what is present day Turkey had his entire body whipped till he had no skin left.

Andrew: crucified in Greece.

Thomas: was stabbed with a spear in India.

Jude also known as Thaddeous: was killed by arrows when he refused to deny his faith.

Phillip: was also peaching in the lands known as present day Turkey and was beheaded.

Simon the zealot: was sawn in half in Persia.

Matthias the false apostle: was stoned and beheaded.

Paul: beheaded

Mark: tied to a team of horses and dragged through the streets of Alexandria, Egypt.

Luke: hanged in his homeland of Greece.

Stephen: stoned to death

John: boiled in oil yet lived. Then banished to Patmos and the only Apostle not to suffer martyrdom.

This is the cost of carrying the True cross and teaching the True Gospel.

Call to Discipleship per the Word of God

Forty days after Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He left this temporal existence to return to where His Father our Creator can be found. As He left, He gave us what has been called the “Great Commission.”

Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV – And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.”

I am making these special posts to do just that. Teach people that are willing to hear the Truth to become True Disciples of God through Jesus Christ.

Most that now profess to being “Christian” truly are not. Many may never have been, and those that were truly saved have turned away from God because they do not wish to become a disciple.

Jesus made it clear what is required to become a true disciple.

Luke 14:25-35 NKJV – Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. “Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Most that now profess to being “Christian” have not counted the cost. They have built a foundation and then run out of spiritual money to build the tower of discipleship. They have become salt without flavor. Good only to be thrown out into the trash to be burned. Burned in the lake of fire for billions upon billions upon billions of years.

Jesus made the cost very clear:

Luke 14:33 NKJV – So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

This is reenforced here:

1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV – Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

“And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.”

This is the core of discipleship. It is from here that is the beginning of truly being called “Christian.” For it is made clear that nothing of this world is from God and so is evil.

1 John 2:15-17 NLT – Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Jesus Christ Himself taught this lesson on the Sermon on the Mount:

You cannot serve God and mammon.

Because most refuse to downsize their eyes are filled with darkness. To bring light into their eyes they must remove from them earthly mammon.

Mammon is defined as riches (jewelry and fancy clothes), money, possessions (objects that gather dust and vehicles) and property (owning huge houses and/or multiple houses as well as land filled with nothing useful to those in need).

This must start immediately if you truly profess to being a follower of Jesus Christ. For as mentioned before it is the core of showing you are a follower of God through Christ and must start right this moment. This is not me saying this. This as shown came from the Word of God itself and is required now. For time is quickly running out.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: the debate with those that have been blinded

Yesterday I had an encounter on Facebook. I don’t even remember what the original post was but what got me involved was someone stating that Obama is a Christian. The person proceeded to say that anyway that disagreed with this view was and I quote: “Self-interest and greed with a side of intolerance will destroy this nation.”
So what the main discourse of the exchange that followed boiled down to how those that have not read the Bible see “Christianity” while those that have read it see it totally differently. Those on the left made it clear to the point of personally attacking me and reducing the conversation to cursing me. That I was totally wrong in my interpretation of the full context of certain Bible verse that they pull out of the Bible totally out of context with what was being said in the Bible at the passages they referred me too.
One said that you should not display piety in public. Where this person got this from was Christ talking about the Pharisees in their hypocrisy.
This person was really messed up. Later again picking parts of the Bible out to suit their point of view, first accused me of doing the exact same thing this person was doing themselves. In particular the situation where the young rich man told Jesus he was doing everything by the Torah and in his eyes was living a righteous live. By this time in the discussion I knew it was a waste of time to inform this person that they once again took things out of context. However, what was most interesting is that this person felt that all that call themselves “Christian” should sell all they had and allow illegal aliens to have it instead, including our job because we profess Christianity.
What was ironic is that I has started our discussion by recommending this person do that themselves. The debated end when I reminded this person of this fact and looked forward to hearing how things were going for their friends since they would no longer have a computer to be able to get on Facebook anymore. What is worse is that they themselves will, per this person’s responses, not lift a finger to help the poor and needy, but they expect all other especially Christians to do this.
I honestly have pity for those that get to this point in their live where they have actually fallen for the leftist propaganda that God is a myth and Christianity is a farce. That all must bow and cater to their wishes and desires because they are perfect and right in all things.
I did inform this person that a myth usually occurs about one hundred and fifty years after someone lives. I then pointed out that at least one letter within the Bible that mentions Christ’s resurrection can be dated to within sixteen years of that very event and many that were alive could refute these facts especially the Romans and the Pharisees, but they could not. Also the fact that it is the most copied document throughout history and only has changed by 2%. I even mention Josephus the historian who betrayed his Jewish faith at the time the Temple was destroyed. How this historian mention the death of the brother of Christ, James and his Christian (tribe) followers.
This is what we are up against folks. They wish to rule the world not realizing that those in actual power do not share power and they themselves will be the victims of corruption. It is only through Jesus Christ and the promised rewards that are not of this earth that true and eternal happiness will be found and rewarded. But to do so they must be willing to accept Christ as their Savior and become truly “Christian.”

The murderer of Christianity

It is not a quick death, but a slow poisoning. The poison is not only being ingested from an outside source, but it is within the Body itself. Many that profess to be “Christians” do not live as Christians and so many fall away not seeing any difference between the secular and the non-secular.
Some buildings that call themselves “churches” are nothing more than gathering halls to spread the latest fade for the month. Self-improvement seminars, how to become wealthy lectures as well as other wonderful meetings are held at these wondrous places that say they worship God. When in reality they serve only human needs and desires, not those needs and desire that God Himself requested of us as we profess to be His children.
It is these types of behavior that shows to the world that maybe there is no God. For they are seeking what those that call themselves “Christians” seek after, but this is not what true Christians truly seek.
When those that truthfully try to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ they many times find themselves standing alone. Wondering why no one else desires what they do. They talk to others of the “body” and these folks look at them funny and make the one truly seeking after God feel awkward and uncomfortable. This usually happens early in the person growth for God and so they fall into the trap and feel they are the ones in the wrong when in reality they are the ones in the right. And so another child of God is led down the poisonous path of destruction fully unaware that they are doing so. Blinded by the material world and distractions buried within it.
Am I just spouting words out? No. How do I know this is real? Because I lived it and found myself falling from God’s grace till I nearly came to loss His protection and love. I witness it about me as I searched for a church home form mega-churches to little ones, and most were found wanting, especially the former of the two.
Yet most do not even realize they are not really living for God as one generation to the next continues the cycle of ignorance to the truth within the Bible all mainly due to the fact that none truly read it. Letting the leader of their group spout out message after message of rhetoric never acknowledging that they too have no true concept of the Bible themselves. All living the life of the Pharisees placing all but God first.
Learn the Bible. Honor God and turn from sin and do not allow sin into your places of worship unless they do so to repent and forsake the ways of the world, which we are taught within the Bible that we must do!

The Blindness of humans

Due to the corrupt nature of humans, most cannot accept, that there was ever a being that could perform miracles, like causing the lame to walk or even a man blind since birth the ability to see. Jesus through His sacrifice upon the cross gave us the ability to overcome our base nature. Yet there are many that say humans can overcome themselves. Just listen to that sentence in your head. How can someone defeat himself or herself? It is impossible.
Yet through Christ with His sacrifice, humans can overcome their base nature. It is through this salvation that the world of humans still exists. For without Christianity and Judaism humans base nature would have destroyed itself most likely during the dark ages. It was believe in God and the teachings of Jesus that the humans still walk this earth today.
Nonetheless, again a time of corruption rears its head. Once again, the human race is threatened by itself. They force God from the world and chaos has erupted in its place. However, there are those in the “wilderness” shouting out and saying, “Turn to the light of Christ!”
Mark 7: 20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

We need to not be near sighted

One of the greatest challenges that those that call themselves Christian is to learn to look beyond today or even tomorrow. When they become near sighted, all they can do is plan for that moment or the next day. That is not how Christianity was designed to work.
Our vision should be focused on the eternal. Questions like “What will the earth look like in the thousand-year reign of Christ?” “What lies in the next solar system?” “What wonders and beauty are waiting to be seen?”
Why these questions and many many more? Because that makes us think beyond this temporal life.
This is like going to the store to pick a pair of shoes. You try one on, walk and feel it is uncomfortable, or it does not look quite right. So you try another pair and they are just right. Well the eternal life is the pair that is just right, filled with the rewards promised to us by Jesus.
Why keep the pair of shoes that are uncomfortable? Yet that is exactly how people live and act. They say I can work through the blisters and corns caused by wearing the wrong shoes. We are told repeatedly not seek our reward in this life for it is fleeting when compared to a billion years.
One year is 365 days. The average life span of a person worldwide, at this time, is 25915 days or 71 years.
One billion years is 365,242, 199, 000 days.
Personally, I would rather plan for the largest number. A lot more can happen in that life and will happen.

Citizenship and Christianity

Mark 12: 17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marveled at him. (KJV)
Render to Ceasar the things that are Ceasar’s

Pay the taxes that the governments of man place upon you

Also obey the laws that are placed upon you by these same governments.

To me the one that I see most ignored is the last sentence I wrote above. True there are some laws that need to be challenged and changed like abortion for example. But I am referring mainly to the everyday laws of the land in which we live.
I find it amazing to watch someone pass me on the road as I go slightly above the speed limit. This means that they are flagrantly throwing the laws of the land in the face of God. What I find even more amazing is one time this happened I watched the car pull into church as services would be starting soon at this particular church. I just shook my head in amazement.

A law is per merriam-webster: a binding custom or practice of a community : a rule of conduct or action prescribed or formally recognized as binding or enforced by a controlling authority

We are to render which means to deliver, give, yield that which are the things of the government.

Here as in other words in both the Greek and Hebrew have multiple meanings. We must fully understand the means of the words so has to apply them how God wishes us to act.

Titus 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, (KJV)
be subject to the rule that is put forth upon us and to obey those who are an official entrusted with administration of the laws of the land.
Here we are instructed to follow the laws of the land.
Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. (KJV)
Strivings means to disagree or dispute in this case the laws of the land, and we are to avoid this. When we speed we are disagreeing with this law and disputing it to the point of disobedience. This is counter to the behavior we have been told by God through Jesus and His disciples to obey and follow.
So in essence we are not rebelling against the laws of the land but we are really rebelling against God as well as the teaching and sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Savior.

So we must remember that our faith and believes is not limited to a pew in a church on once or twice a week. It is to be a daily endeavor to strive more and more to be like Jesus was. Since in:
1 Corinthians 4:16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
Followers in Greek actually mean be an imitator of Christ, which means to use or follow as a model. We are to act as Jesus did.
I found this excellent description in response to the question: “How did Jesus want people to act?” on the internet:
Jesus, himself, modeled the way we should act. He was gentle, forgiving, truthful, at times angry and blunt (when people were just being jerks). He wasn’t a doormat. When challenged about His teaching or acts, He always answered directly and without apology, because He knew His words and deeds were righteous…or right. There’s a key point, when we live upright lives, following His lead, we won’t have to be covering up or trying to make excuses for ourselves.
Of course, as humans, we WILL make mistakes, bad choices, and do things we know we shouldn’t have. When that happens, we are to ADMIT IT (not defend ourselves or make excuses), apologize, ask forgiveness (from God always, and others if they’ve been wronged), and make things right in those circumstances where that’s possible.
Also, Jesus never failed to give the credit, or glory, to God.

So if we are to strive to be right and or righteous should we then not obey God by obeying average everyday laws that we take for granted?
Yes we should. So think about this tomorrow when you feel that you need to hurry and get to your destination. Me? I leave early and still go up to five miles an hour over the speed limit, and trust me I have been cursed and honked at more than once for not going faster.
Will I give in any further to the peer pressure? No. What I will do is say the Lord’s pray once again even if I have to say it one hundred times.

Should Christianity change?

Many ask that question. What is to follow is my opinion on the matter.
My answer to this question. NO. It should not change. Christianity has had its difficulties ever since Jesus. Even in the early days, many of the things that are present in the church today were present in the church when Paul was teaching unto the Gentiles.
If you are willing to go with what is popular today than your heart is not where it should be. We are not to be a part of the world but separate from it as an example of what is good in the eyes of God. If you go about saying that it is okay to sin then you are turning your back on God. This goes for any sin. If the Bible states it is a sin it cannot change. It is still the same sin it was when it is called a sin when God on Mount Sinai gave Moses the laws. It was a sin when Jesus walked upon the earth. It was a sin when our ancestors came to America so they could worship God as the Bible taught, not as a King said it was to be done. It is a sin today.
I will help and befriend someone who chooses to live in sin, but I will still try to get him or her to realize that they are living in sin. It is not my place to force them to change. It is my place to be the light of God upon the world and expose those acts as sin.
If that person rejects God that is their choice as it should be, but I will still let them know that “if” there is a God then they are destine to an eternal life that is more hideous then what ISIS (ISIL) is doing to my fellow Christians in the Middle East. An ETERNAL LIVE of pain and suffering by their own choice.
As Christians, we are meant to be an example of what is true, right and clean. If your church allows those that sin within it. Then that church has turned it back on God and is no longer a church. A prime example is the Presbyterian Church, which first stated it would no longer acknowledge Israel, but then said it would accept homosexuality. That organization is no longer Christian and so if you call yourself Christian you must leave this group and find a place that is still Christian and follow the teaching of the Bible. We are told that Israel is the promised nation of God so to deny Israel is to deny God. We are told in the Bible that homosexuality is a sin. Therefore, if you allow sin into your buildings you allow Satan to have dominion and not God.
The basic principles of Christianity have lasted since 33 A.D. until now. That is one thousand nine hundred and eight plus years. Not counting the years from Mount Sinai. Nearly two thousand years that these rules, laws and teachings have endured yet now they are wrong? Sorry, but those that say they are wrong are the ones that are in the wrong.
People are dying more than ever for calling themselves Christian. Are you willing to have someone saw off your head as they did or are you a hypocrite? I already now the answer. I am willing to die a martyr for God. Are you?
