Until further notice the messages that accompany this notice will be part of the “Come out of her my people” series. They will be harsh. They will cause people to get upset. This is as it should be. They must question the way they think and live. So, they can seek to follow Christ and not the world.
Discussion
Megachurches
There have been many of these churches that have sprung up and then fallen away since the 1950s. Many have made it all the way to television while others were situated to the city they were founded in.
One of the main flaws within them was a lack of personal relationships. People could become lost in the crowd and in many cases think they were saved or on the right path to God when in fact they were not. In time either through scandal or simply a parting of the ways in philosophies would result in the church either downsizing or ceasing to exist all together.
In most cases the leader of the megachurch led a wealthy lifestyle like those of the Pharisees in the time of Christ. If you looked closely, you would see that they suffered from the same sin. Placing the rituals of man over the teaches of God. They would have seminars about the “self” this or the “self” that. Leaving the word of God behind but instead turning to that which they truly sought after.
Now they are going with what is politically correct, but not Biblically correct and yet many still believe they are pursuing God when in reality they are pursuing the world. We are called to be separated from the world. A living example of what is good and righteous unto God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
If it is called a sin in the Bible, then it is a sin. If we are called to repent and turn from this sin, then that is what we must done. Yet the megachurches now say “come to us as you are. You can keep your sin, because we will love you exactly as you are.”
It is true that Jesus will take you at this moment as you are, BUT you must come to Him with a repentant heart feeling shame and sorrow over where you are now at this moment standing in the sin. This repentance never ends until the day we leave this temporal life. If you were repentant once and then never again, they I say you were never truly repentant that one time, for you have returned to your sin or new ones turning your back upon God. Through this ongoing repentance you chip away at this big sin and then little sins and the process repeats itself on and on, for that is how TRUE repentance works. It is a never-ending task that wears upon each and every person that truly goes through it. How do I know this? Because I go through it every single day.
We are told to place God first and then to be humble and place all others before ourselves. When doing this you place yourself last. Caring for all those about you, wanting them to seek out and be with God. Can a megachurch provide this? No, it can’t because those that go to these huge buildings are all strangers to one another in most cases. If you cannot even seek out a personal relationship with a person in one of these places, then how are you expected to have a personal relationship with God? You can’t. You may think you do, but when you get right down to it are you still living a sinful life? Are you heartbroken over it? If you say yes to the first and no to the second, then you are a “lukewarm” and Jesus has said you will be cast away from Him. (Revelation 3: 14-22)
This is the curse of the megachurches, look closely and you will come to realize it.
This was a message I wrote ten years ago as of March 2025.
Why mention this month and year?
In that same month a scandal once again hit another megachurch in Texas where a so-called pastor was indited on child sex abuse charges.
Not long after this I made a post on social media. Someone used this man that made this false church as an excuse not to turn to God. This is the result of this curse of the megachurch.
I recently read an article where they compared the Christian community found within the early church in Jerusalem of Acts chapter two. Again, another falsehood to a megachurch.
Megachurches create nothing but lies and falsehood. This clearly shows who is the father of these huge buildings.
John 8:44 NKJV – You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
Megachurches create nothing but selfish, self-serving, egotistical people who believe they are privileged and above not only human law, but God’s law. Basically, these oversized so-called churches are nothing more than evil. For by thinking they are above the laws not only of man, but more importantly God they call themselves their own god and when they enter these megachurches it is themselves they are going to worship, not their Creator.
The very fact that they go to megachurches is validation of this. For all they are doing is taking the word of other humans over the Word of God. They don’t read the Bible for themselves. More accurately they don’t STUDY the Word of God for themselves.
If they studied the Bible, they would learn that the community created in Acts 2 was truly a “community.” They lived together. They sold off all their possessions and shared the wealth.
Megachurches teach to horde and seek after more mammon. Why? Because those that run these megachurches want their own mammon all the way to private jets.
For those that haven’t been following my teachings. Mammon is defined as riches (jewelry and fancy clothes), money, possessions (objects that gather dust and vehicles) and property (huge houses or multiple houses as well as empty land).
One of Christ greatest teachings was the Sermon on the Mount. In Chapter six of Matthew, He said this:
Matthew 6:1-24 NKJV – “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. “Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Give in secret.
Pray in secret.
Fast in secret.
DOWNSIZE, DOWNSIZE, DOWNSIZE!
Yet none downsize. In fact, they seek after more and more and more. Entering into sin and leading to damnation.
Why do you the listener or reader challenge this statement?
Mark 10:17-31 NKJV – Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,’ ‘DO NOT MURDER,’ ‘DO NOT STEAL,’ ‘DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER.'” And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.” So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
“Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
Most that enter the vaulted ceilings of megachurches are rich and seek to become richer. Thus, they make it nearly impossible for them to enter the kingdom of heaven. For Christ told them exactly what is required of them:
“One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”
Most like the young rich man choose to turn their backs upon their salvation sorrowfully. Because their mammon is more precious to them than an eternity in the service of God.
Why is this? Because they see the now and not the eternal that is to come. Which shows they worship not God, but mammon and themselves. Most due to megachurches.
God Bless
