A false image


Many, even those within Christendom itself have a misconstrued image of how being a Christian is.
Many think that you go to church once a week, sing a few songs, and say a few prayers and you are set to go to heaven.
Others have this image that being a Christian is a carefree existence of not caring for anything but themselves.
Another image is one of superiority to all that do not accept Christ and if you do not you are to be looked down upon.
I will start with the last few first. This image is as many images of those that do not know or truly understand what is required to be a servant of God placed upon followers of Jesus. Why this is, is mainly due to those that do not truly know the truth projecting their own way of thinking and how they view the world and those in it upon how others cultures are.
Let me explain this better.
There are those that think that Christians are nothing, are stupid, ignorant, just because they disagree with the way they think and feel. So in their minds this is how they see those that call themselves “Christian.” For to them any cultural belief or lifestyle views comes from their own way they view others. This is them projecting their own hatred for all others upon other groups. Just because they hate and demean, they see all others doing the same as they do. This is them living within their own lie so as to make themselves feel good about themselves, it is actually extremely sad when you think upon it some.
This is not how true Christians think. This is not how true Christians act.
Now for the second image.
Being Christian is not carefree, especially when done in the correct concept of salvation. When asking Jesus to be our Savior we are making a contract unto God written in the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood that He shed upon the cross nearly two thousand years ago.
The terms of this contract is to place God first in our heart, our mind and our soul. This means to do every single action in our lives with saying to ourselves: “Is this something that is pleasing to God?”
We also come to a full realization that we are in a corrupt body. For we have not yet been called up to Christ at which time we will put on the incorruptible and the immortal.
What this means is that since we are not perfect, even though saved, we will stumble and fall into sin. Once we realize this and correct it then we can turn to Christ and ask His forgiveness, which he has promised will be given unto all that ask. This is a daily struggle and can at time be frustrating.
This is the transition to the first point.
What many even within Christendom do not know, or acknowledge or have chosen to forget is that if you choose to live in the sin even after accepting Christ and preferring the sin over the saving grace of our Savior then we will be cast out.
Seen by Christ Himself as something that is worse than those that totally deny Him.
Why? For they are in essence spitting upon God and His one and only Son and saying “the way I live is more important than God.”
What is worse is that these are a majority that call themselves Christian. These are the examples those that deny there is a God see. They see these hypocrites and say “see there. This is why I say there is no God.”
This is why the glorified Jesus Christ made it clear that these are to be spit from Him. Lost forever from Him and His Father. The Creator of the Universe.

There is a need for clarification in the “Lying Ted” label, Biblically.


This is a label that has not gone away. It is a label that was spoken of by the presidential nominee for the Republican Party, Donald Trump.
It has to do with Dr. Carson heading home for a change of clothes. A staffer in Ted Cruz’s election committee released a false narrative on why Dr. Carson was doing this. This action was not known nor supported by Senator Cruz. When the senator became aware he addressed it quickly and fired the staffer and then publicly apologized to Dr. Carson. Dr. Carson did not accept this apology, which is not how the Bible instructs us to act, but we are all human and flawed.
Donald Trump took advantage of this situation and so labeled the senator as “Lying Ted,” even though there was no factual foundation for this label, thus it was a lie.
Millions of voters jumped upon this bandwagon and to this day this the label has stuck.
Now that the facts of reality have been established let’s look at this from the Biblical point of view.
Let’s start with the point that Mr. Trump assigned a label to someone in a false narrative.
When someone calls someone a liar yet the very act of doing so is a lie, is per Matthew 7 hypocrisy.
“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. 3 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye. 6 “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.”
So per the Bible the Republican Party nominee for the Presidency is a self-proclaimed hypocrite. There is nothing we can do to change this now so we are stuck with this choice, which bring us to Daniel 4:17.
“For this has been decreed by the messengers; it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses— even to the lowliest of people.”
But back to the main purpose of this article.
So we have per the Bible established three facts.
1) Mr. Trump lied.
2) Mr. Trump has made himself a hypocrite
3) Mr. Trump has publicly stated he has never felt the need to repent his sins unto God or His Son Jesus Christ.
So what is to happen to liars per the Bible?
Revelation 21:8 “But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
John 8:44 – For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Proverbs 13:5 – The godly hate lies; the wicked cause shame and disgrace.
Exodus 23:1 – You must not pass along false rumors. You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand.
1 Timothy 1:8 – We know that the law is good when used correctly. 9 For the law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who kill their father or mother or commit other murders. 10 The law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or are slave traders, liars, promise breakers, or who do anything else that contradicts the wholesome teaching 11 that comes from the glorious Good News entrusted to me by our blessed God.
So that lays the foundation of what God thinks of liars, now let’s move on to hypocrisy.
James 1:26 – If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. 27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
Romans 2:1 -You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. 2 And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. 3 Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? 4 Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?
1 John 2: 7 Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment for you; rather it is an old one you have had from the very beginning. This old commandment—to love one another—is the same message you heard before. 8 Yet it is also new. Jesus lived the truth of this commandment, and you also are living it. For the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining. 9 If anyone claims, “I am living in the light,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is still living in darkness. 10 Anyone who loves a fellow believer[b] is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble. 11 But anyone who hates a fellow believer is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness.
Think that covers that, so let’s move on to repentance.
1 John 1:8 – If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.
Luke 13:1 – About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. 2 “Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? 3 Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. 4 And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? 5 No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”
Acts 17:30 “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. 31 For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”
So here is how the Bible see the actions of Donald Trump at the time he called Ted Cruz “Lying Ted.” As of now he has made no public attempt to apologize for his actions. There are those that say he has asked Christ to be his Savior yet we must remember the Bible also says this:
James 2: 14 – What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? 15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? 17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. 18 Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” 19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. 20 How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? 21 Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. 23 And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith. “He was even called the friend of God. 24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. 25 Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. 26 Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.
But what are works?
First and foremost to place God at the center of your life and in every single aspect of it.
Matthew 22:36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
This does not just apply for each and every person that professes to be “Christian,” but also for nations.
When doing this you place all the teaching of the Bible at the core of your everyday life. Yet millions that profess to be “Christian” do not do this.
It is rumored that he is new to Christianity, yet this does not excuse his past behavior. In fact it is required as was read above in repentance that he amend his past behavior whenever possible.
Matthew 5:21 “You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ 22 But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell. 23 “So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, 24 leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God. 25 “When you are on the way to court with your adversary, settle your differences quickly. Otherwise, your accuser may hand you over to the judge, who will hand you over to an officer, and you will be thrown into prison. 26 And if that happens, you surely won’t be free again until you have paid the last penny.
So with this foundation we see that Donald Trump is in the wrong and his action speak more of the world than of Christianity, yet millions of those that profess to be “Christian” flock to this man and say that Ted Cruz as wronged him. They insist that he is still “Lying Ted.” So they have born false witness against their neighbor.
So let’s look at how Donald Trump does behave. He is arrogant, he looks upon others and calls them evil names and parades himself to be better than any other person.
2 Timothy 3:1 – You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!
Gee that describes Donald Trump to a tee. So Christians are to stay away from him, yet millions gather about him and hang upon every word. Yet since we are to stay away from him does this not mean he is of the world? So what does the Bible say about those that call themselves to be the bride of Christ yet they seek out the world?
James 4:4 – You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. 5 Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him. 6 And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. 9 Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.
You have made of yourselves adulterers to Christ.
Yet due to this adultery we have only two real choices in this election, since the adulterers rejects those that were a better reflection of Christ. Both that are left are the lowliest, yet we must choose one. Is it the one that denies the very existence of God and thinks of herself as above the law and so above God? (Titus 3:1; Daniel 4:17) Or is it the one that knows there is a God but shows no real repentance.
Unfortunately we must choose one, but we must choose even though it is onerous and goes fully against our faith as true followers of Jesus Christ.
It must be Donald Trump, but unless he shows that he has changed truly for the glory of God we must replace him in the next election cycle with someone that is a better reflection of the Son of God.

2 Timothy 4:1-5

When those that think they are doing right when in reality, they are not


Here is one of the greatest challenges to any within humanity. Truly understanding if their actions are or ever would be considered “right.”
To have an understanding of this we must come to an agreement on what is “right.” Well for thousands of years there was such a document that did establish what is “right.”
For nearly fifteen hundred years those that were rich or had power knew the truth of what can be called “right.” Yet due to the infallibility of all humanity most fell prey to those sins and lusts that usually effect those that are rich and powerful. They desire more of both. Is this then what is “right?” in their minds they justified it to being so, yet in reality their actions for the majority were not right nor were they even close to being right.
Then this document came into mass circulation for even the most common of humanity to be able to read it.
They saw the corruption and sought, many times in vain to correct what was wrong with what was truly right.
Now we come to today’s society. Here we see those that protest the mistreatment of this group or that group. They take offence to how words are spoken. They take offence to how one group is treated differently in their eyes from another group. Is this the true pursuit of what is “right?” The answer to that is no. Yet if you say this you have automatically offended them and you are labeled the one who hates, when this is the furthest thing from the truth.
What is truly “right” can still be found within this document. This document is the Bible. This is where you can find what is “right.”
Then what is “right?”
It is the act of placing God at the center of all your actions and all your words. It is following the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is accepting Christ as your Savior and submitting ourselves to seeking after it till we are called to heaven that is what is truly “right.”
Yet there are many that will deny this and call people like myself, lunatic, mad man, and idiot.
Why? For this is not want they have been taught is “right.” They will strive to diminish and abolish what is “right,” for to them what is truly right is their freedom to live their lives as they see fit, no matter if it is acceptable to the “right” and the “norm” that has been established for thousands of years. For they have grown where those in the past of not grown, per them.
Yet if you read the Bible it is shown how many in the past that are considered to be sinners desired the exact some type of “right,” as they are seeking.
This in itself shows that they are not seeking after what is “right,” because it, in their eyes, is not the same unrighteousness as was born by those in the past.
Yet that is exactly what it truly is unrighteous.
You show them the truth, and they deny it, they reject it, why?
For to acknowledge it would mean they have hurt people in their selfish lusts and desires, they have hurt themselves. They fear that if what is truly “right” is righteous then they are doomed.
For they see no way out of being in the wrong.
Yet this is not what Jesus Christ promised us all. He have given us a way to seek after “right” and “righteousness” and it all lies through Him. All they need do is acknowledge Him and turn their backs upon unrighteousness, no matter its form. From living in sin to seeking after the destruction of others.
They must place God first in every action and every aspect of their lives for a failure to do so ends only in misery and agony that will last for all eternity.

Fables


Yesterday I re-posted an article I had written last year and felt led to expound upon what these “fables” are.
First and foremost they are made to look like Jesus Christ, but they are not Christ. Humans will use His name in vain for their own glorification and think they are “Christian” when that is the furthest thing from the truth.
What to look for when humans use the name of “Jesus” and are actually teaching fables.
They will tell you to seek out your rewards within this temporal plain we now live within. Saying it is all for you to receive your rewards and riches here and now. This is totally opposite the words of Jesus Christ and ANY that promise rewards on this earth are of the one who runs the earth at this time, that being Satan.
Matthew 6: 19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. 22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is! 24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. 25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 28 “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? 31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. 34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
Another fable is that Christ is ALL love and ALL are welcome into heaven. Yet Christ spoke more of the fires of the pit of fire than He spoke of Love. The Bible makes it clear that there are those that will never be allowed into heaven if they continue to live in their sins. Yet those that listen to the fable say that “love” is all there is and Jesus will welcome all. This is a twisting of the truth. Taking the truth and turning it to suit those that would rather live in sin than place God first and foremost in their lives.
The truth is yes Jesus Christ will welcome all, BUT you MUST repent of your sin. True repentance means to leave your sins behind and never do them again. This is what many refuse to do and so these that refuse to leave their sins in truth have not accepted Christ as their Savior and so will be partakers of that which Jesus Himself spoke more of, the pit of fire. Let me get you to understand by revisiting the story of Christ and the young rich man. For most would consider being rich not a sin, but as was shown in the verses above it is. So if being rich is a sin how much more of a sin is those things that are clearly called out in the Bible as not being allowed entrance into heaven?
The young rich man told Christ he followed all the commandments and what else would guarantee he makes it into heaven. Christ told him to sell all he had and give it to the poor and then to follow Him, which meant to follow all the teachings Christ has been giving to all. The young man turned away disheartened and despondent for he desired the world and his riches more than he did God and His Son. He chose eternal death instead of eternal life. Yet Jesus looked at him in love and kindness even as he turned his back upon Christ. Christ loves all of humanity, but He had given us a measurement to stand by to gain complete and open access unto Him. That being we must not seek that of the world, this earth, this time, but live as if we are already His eternal servant and placing His Father first in ALL that we do.
Mark 10:17 As Jesus was starting out on his way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to him, knelt down, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good. 19 But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.’” 20 “Teacher,” the man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.” 21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22 At this the man’s face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions. 23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!” 24 This amazed them. But Jesus said again, “Dear children, it is very hard to enter the Kingdom of God. 25 In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” 26 The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. 27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” 28 Then Peter began to speak up. “We’ve given up everything to follow you,” he said. 29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, 30 will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life. 31 But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.”

Confessions of a screwed up middle-aged man: I just can’t


Many ignore my articles, and I know why. Because they view them as negative. Well I am not going to argue with that point. Why? Because I just can’t be positive. Why? Because I refuse to bury my head in the sand. I and others that echo my message which there are more than you realize are seeing the truth that comes from the Bible.
Hosea had this problem as well. He was instructed by God to marry a whore, and of course she was disloyal to him, but he never gave up upon her. Not only that he gave warnings to Israel that they had turned themselves into whores, but God would not abandon them.
Well the United States of America is now a nation of whores, but Jesus will not abandon those that truly seek to be His loyal servants.
To be a loyal servant you MUST place God at the core of your every action. Form the words you speak to the way you drive, to the way you raise your family and the way you interact with your co-workers as well as bosses.
The moment you care more for sports, more for what celebrities said or did, you have become a whore. The moment you break the speed limit you are whore. The moment you do not place others before yourself you are a whore.
I cannot turn away from God.
I cannot turn away from Jesus.
So I must be continue to be ignored by the whores, and you know what I don’t care. For teaching the truth is more important to me.

Prosperity – The Christian definition


Per Merriam-Webster prosperity is defined as “the condition of being successful or thriving.”
But want does that mean to those that profess to be “Christian?”
What is Christian success? What is thriving as a Christian?”
The best place to start to look for this answer is in Mark. Chapter ten to be exact:
17 As Jesus was starting out on his way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to him, knelt down, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good. 19 But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.” 20 “Teacher,” the man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.” 21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22 At this the man’s face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions. 23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!” 24 This amazed them. But Jesus said again, “Dear children, it is very hard to enter the Kingdom of God. 25 In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!”
Here is the first and most important fact about Christian prosperity. This young man was rich and full of earthly prosperity and he even was a loyal servant to God and for this Jesus looked upon him with love. But Jesus knew his heart and knew that the world was more important to him than God. He was a true “lukewarm.” So Jesus offered him Christian prosperity, but to gain it he must surrender all his earthly prosperity.
Jesus makes it clear in these verses. That those with earthly prosperity will have a hard time gaining access into heaven and if they do their reward which is true Christian prosperity will be lacking.
So any that teach worldly prosperity are turning you away from Jesus not toward Him, and so are naked and poor. (Revelation 3: 15 “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. Mark 10:26 The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. 27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” 28 Then Peter began to speak up. “We’ve given up everything to follow you,” he said. 29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, 30 will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life. 31 But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.”
Here in these verses above Jesus makes it clear what true Christian prosperity looks like. He also makes it clear that it is not of this earth, and what is of this earth will persecute them. Those that are great in the world will become those that are the least notable in the eternal life that is to come, while those that are poor and the least same become great for billions upon billions of years. As I have stressed before, this earthly existence in which people seek that which is not Christian prosperity have at the most 100 years, and not even that amount to fully enjoy their earthly reward. While our eternal reward will last 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 of years, which is greater?
This is what Jesus says about material needs:

You cannot serve both God and money. 25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 28 “And why worry about your clothing? An awakening is called for.


The Bible says that God would use even the evil of man to accomplish his plan. This not only goes for the actions of those like Hitler which helped enable the re-establishment of Israel, but it goes to other things.
I mean look at the title of the new Star Wars movie: “The force awakens.” Yet even now more and more are awakening to the truth about the government of this nation. There are many though that are allowing anger to cloud their judgment. It is this same type of anger that allowed Hitler to commit the horrible acts that he and his followers did.
Yes awaken, but do not awaken to anger, turn to what is righteous and true. But what is righteous and true in the world we live within today? The answer is thousands of years old and has seen the rise and fall of many governments and countries. Always at its core is that which is true. To place all others before yourself, especially if you wish to lead them.
It is this which we must awaken to. It is the teaching of Jesus Christ and all that is found within the Bible. We must honor all life, but we must be willing to defend what is right and righteous. For too long those with the power have been breaking the First Amendment of the Constitution. The government cannot form a religion. Yet the government is shoving more and more Islamic teachings into our schools to the point of making our children copy Muslim text and play Muslim songs during the presentations designed to honor the birth of Christ. Now I have no problem with Muslim practicing their religion, for that is the next part of the first amendment, but on the same lines that the does allow the government to remove Christian or Jewish symbols yet allow Islamic symbols to stay.
It is this which many are awakening too, but they are over reacting as they do. We cannot over react or we will be going the way of 1930s Germany, but a line must be drawn that cannot falter or fail.
Now, to be honest with you. I do not see this going well for Christianity. ISIS is here to stay, it is too late to remove them and any that support them in the United Stated either with full knowledge or with a mistaken understanding of what they are truly doing will most likely be held responsible for their actions by God All Mighty Himself.
There are events that need to happen, per the Bible and the way things are looking we are heading down that road. Those with eyes will see and understand at least partly to what I am referring. Understand also that God still has a purpose for the United States, if this were not so what has happened in the last eight years would not have caused the awakening to begin. God punishes those He loves to force them to change their ways, for He truly loves the people of this nation. He that spares the rod hates the child, he that chastises the child loves the child and wishes the child to grow in glory and love.
The United States is being spanked and those that are natural citizens need to realize this and turn their face to God and hear what He is trying to tell them. Soon though things are going to get much worse if we do not fully and correctly awaken. The next election will be how we show where we stand with God.
If we elect another Democrat, those that deny there is a God, then we are lost.
If we vote out of anger and elect Trump again we are lost.
If we support and vote for someone that is a servant of God then we may have a chance to redeem ourselves. Could this be Dr. Carson? Could it be Senator Cruz? Could it be Senator Paul?
These are the only three that deserve our attention and of these I personally distrust Cruz the most. Dr. Carson as shown true Christian values. While Dr. Paul as shown real fiscal knowledge and understanding. Maybe a Paul/Carson ticket?
Whatever happens this next election is extremely important to those that profess to be Christian. It is time to stand and be counted. It is time to make sure that those that have been in office for more than twelve year to be removed from power no matter the party.
Pray to God and awaken. Pray to God and vote.

A true translation of a sin that many now try to no longer call it what it is.


Last week someone attempted to say that I was not using a true translation of the Bible. This person made an assumption and we all know what it means to “assume.”
Needless to say I have felt the need to address this assumption since many go to church and hear someone on a dais or in a pulpit say this is this way and not that way, just because they say so. This is not how we are told to learn and read the Bible. It is each person’s responsibility to read the Bible themselves, and not just one testament or another, but the Bible in its entirety because the old points to new and gives anecdotes to give the reader an insight into the one thing that is truly unfathomable, the mind of the creator of the universe, God.
Now so you can understand how I do things. I start with the King James Version of the Bible. This is the closest easily accessible English version of the Bible. This to me though is not good enough. I also use Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament and a regular dictionary. Why? For starts the concordance gets me to the original word in the Greek or Hebrew. The NT dictionary gets me into the word usage when it was first written down, and the regular dictionary for more contemporary definitions. This is so I can get as close as possible to the Holy Spirit inspired words as they were given unto the writers by God. (2 Timothy 3:17) Look at my post “An insight into God’s power” also. NOTE: due to this method I have found that some current translations of the Bible have been taken out of context and so do not pass the test God requires us to place upon those giving the word of God. Since we are warned that there will be those that wish to teach a false doctrine so as to lead those that do not follow these precaution down a path that could lead to their rejection by God (Galatians 1: 6-8). One such book is the new international version, now I did not call it a translation since it has diverted from the Holy inspired word given by the Holy Ghost.
Now for this particular article I will stick to only those references of a certain sin in the New Testament even though it accompanies other sins that will be listed as well. Why? Because there are those that insist that the Old Testament has no need to be read and had no meaning anymore. This is a fallacy, but that is an issue for another time. I will start with the first chapter of Romans.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Verses 20 – 32 is one topic and so these must be held together as one overall group and the sins listed within them have the same fate as is shown in the last verse, but I will break down keys words to give insight and knowledge through the original language that was used at the time God divinely breathed them into those writing down His words.
Vain – mataioo – to make empty, foolish – which denotes the world of appearance as distinct from that of being. With “mataioo” there is always the implication of what is against the norm, unexpected, offending what ought to be (NTD).
Changed – allasso – to make otherwise, to alter. In particular for this verse it means “to exchange.” (NTD)
Note: for verse 23 peoples desires to live outside the norm as is begun in verse 21 wished to exchange the pure and glorified and incorruptible God for a humanized and thus corruptible god that would condone their desires to live outside the values that are placed upon them by the true God.
Gave – paradidomi – is used here to represent God’s judgement on sinners. God punishes by delivering up to sin (NTD)
Uncleanness – akatharsia – impurity. Of “physical cultic and moral impurity” In these verses Paul per the NTD used this word to mean the alienation of those sinning from God of all the sins listed in this grouping, even though in other cities some other sins are listed. This is due to those sins be more prevalent in those particular cities.
Dishonour – atimazo – to insult, treat with contempt
Against – para – from, in the presence of. Adversative. The sense of “beside,” “beyond,” is also the point of departure for the adversative sense: “without regard for,” “in spite of,” “against.”{Acts according to nature and hence according to creation} [NTD] {1}
Nature – phusis – inherent nature, origin, birth. {1}
Note: in the NTD the phrase is “nature and hence according to creation.” This means God’s creation of all things. The basic nature of a species is to reproduce. Anything that goes against the reproduction of a species can and will lead to its extinction. All life on earth seeks to reproduce itself in their natural state. Only those within the human race have chosen not to pursue the continuation of the species and have adopted lifestyles that have the possible ability to end its own species and so goes against the creation thus against the Creator: God.
Vile – atimia – disgrace, dishonor; a dishonorable use, shame or shameful
Affections – pathos – (subjectively) a passion (especially concupiscence):– (inordinate) affection, lust. A feeling which the mind suffers; an affliction of the mind, emotion, passion; passionate deed, depraved passion, vile passions.
Note: per NTD “’vile affections’ are the scandalous vices of homosexuality.”
Unseemly – Aschemosune – unseemliness, an unseemly deed.
Reprobate – adokimos – failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.
Note: Per NTD – Human existence stands under the divine testing in which it must prove itself. The testing culminates in judgement. Judgment is a test of human life and achievement. So those that partake of the sins listed in these verses have failed to pass the test.
The last verse is very important to understand so I will repost: “32 who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
This leaves no question to those willing to hear and understand. They have been told what they do is wrong, a sin, yet they willingly embrace it so their fate is made clear— death.
Since only sin leads to death. Any that say: homosexuality, unrighteous, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful; is not a sin are mistaken.
Now it is important to say this. That it does also show in the Bible that there are those that left these sins and were one with God. But to leave these sins they cannot partake of them. So to say the term “gay Christian” is an impossibility. In fact it is worse for them then if they deny God and are homosexual. (Rev. 3:15-16). But as promised the verses that show you can leave the sin and be one with God.
1 Corinthians 6: 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
The key statement here is “And such were some of you.” When they truly accepted Christ they were able to shed the sin from them and live a lifestyle that did not include the sins they has placed over God. For God must be first in all things. In addition it must be also notes that it says “some of you,” this places a limiting factor. This denotes that it is extremely hard for those that embrace these sins to leave them and so few actually have the courage to suffer the emotional pain required to turn from these sins. Just think just how much harder it is for them to turn away from these sins when people go about saying “It is ok because God loves you.” These are lies that need to be stopped. Yes God does love the person, but as long these people place their sins above God He will not see them or accept them into His house. (Rev. 21:27)
As you can see that I have gone to the origin of the words as they were written nearly two thousand years ago. So they are close as possible to the God Himself. Now why I say this is the person that said I was using the wrong translation of the Bible, they said this to be accurate:
“…it is your homophobic interpretation of the Bible…”
Now that being said. Since it is as close as possible to God Himself this person actually called God “homophobic.” He hates sin, but wishes those living in sin to leave that sin and they can only do that through truly and wholeheartedly asking Jesus Christ to be their Savior and to cut all ties with their previous lifestyle, which means they can no longer be gay. I did not say this, the Bible, which has not changed for thousands of years has said so and so is a truthful interpretation, and to just allow people to live in sin without hearing the truth of the Bible goes against what all true Christians are called to do. (2 Timothy 4: 1-5).

I challenge you to be more honest.


Now I am not saying that you the reader is lying, but I am saying you are not giving the full story. This is lying through omission, which is not correct.
As a result many that think themselves to be “Christian” in reality are not. A prime example is the Homosexual man that stood before the Supreme Court during the recent hearing about gay marriage. He held a sign saying he was both Christian and Gay, which per the Bible you cannot be both. You must choose one and abandon the other. Since he has embraced that he is gay, then he is not a “Christian.”
This is honesty, this is facts. Do I hate him for it? No, but I bet several of you reading this post just stopped and are refusing to continue to read. Those that did are in the wrong. While those that continue to read and will not verbalize and type as I just did are not being honest with themselves or those that we are commissioned to reach.
This leads people like this man down the wrong path. A path where they envision themselves living with their lover in heaven.
Again this is a misnomer. For instance Heaven is but a wait area until the time of the Rapture or the Great White Throne Judgment. We are not to live in heaven forever, this is a man-made falsify of not understanding fully the Bible. Do I know the Bible completely? No, but I know it more than those that believe these false teaching and continue to pass their errors on to others.
We are to study and know the Bible so we can be fully honest and upright with all. We are to talk to them in love and equality even though they may live in sin. For we are to counsel them on the errors of their ways so that they may grow in their faith and turn from their sins.
Will we lose all our sins immediately? No, for the most part, for we are humans and we are corrupt. Even Jesus stated in John 15 that God Himself would prune us, tearing away sin after sin so that each time as we grow in our faith we would bear new and sweeter fruit unto the Lord.
So again I challenge you. Be more honest with those you see can be reached and try to get them to understand that they must turn from all their sins even though it will take time to cast them off, but they must turn from those sins which are considered to be worse than others by the Bible itself. For to live in these you say to God that they are more important than He is and when the time comes he will say He does not know you.

True empathy


The definition of empathy is “the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.”

This is something that many do not have. Many say they do, yet when it comes time to display empathy they stonewall, change the subject or even throw up words that act like chaff blinding the missile of truth from findings its mark.

Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

If you love your neighbor as you love yourself is empathy. Yet this and other teachings of Christ are frowned upon. Why? Because they are teachings of Jesus. They are Christian.
Most in the United States have a huge misconception of the Bible and its teaching. Many that think they are Christian really are not. There are even those that deny God yet they do show empathy and other “Christian” traits and believes, yet they do not know this because they have been lied to by those that wish for them to deny God.
These people that are more “Christian” then many Christians have the foreknowledge that could lead them the Christ and become one of the counted. But will they have this opportunity? I do not know the answer to this question.
What is important is that we teach the Bible, that we show the love of Christ. That we show empathy and love for all humanity.
It is also important that those that believe themselves to be “Christian” search their souls and see if they are just a messed up Christian or a hypocrite.
I struggle with my faith constantly. I question myself and seek out answers. Am I perfect? NO!!!
But at least I am making more of an effort then many that do absolutely nothing and think that will get them into heaven when in reality it will not.
