A dying breed

In today’s society, being what is called a “gentleman” is a dying breed. It is sad really. To me being courteous is how all should be, be you male or female. The main reason once upon a time men were considered “gentlemen” was because they respected women. Now they tell us to respect them but to treat them as equals. Me? I have always though women to be my equals but still to open doors and pull out chairs for them. This to me shows you care and place others before yourself.
It is a foundation that should be laid in all. It teaches them that other people are more important than they are. Once again, the adage “do unto others as you would have done unto you” comes into play. Something some would attribute to Confucius, but was actually first documented in the book of Exodus in the Bible hundreds of years before his time.
Do unto others as you would have done unto you is the basis of being a gentle-person. To not stand in the middle of a doorway talking, but moving aside to allow others to go in and out is a sign you respect others over yourself. As long as you do not show others respect; how can you be expected to be respected yourself? You cannot.
This is something that is within the foundation of true Christianity as well. If you claim to be a Christian and do not respect others and place others before yourself then you need to start praying and start reading the Bible and then thinking about where you stand in your faith. For as I have said in an other post, that to me selfishness is the ultimate sin, from selfishness all other sins come from. Why? Because you are only thinking of satisfying your own wants and desires, which is opposite of being a gentle-person.
What is it a dying breed should not be when people profess to being Christian since being Christian and a gentle-person walk hand in hand together. It is something that has been pulled out from under us by those that seek to “improve” things for all, but in actuality, we are not moving forward but backward. We are more like the middle ages then we are a modern society all because being kind to others is frowned upon and no longer taught in schools or our churches. It is not PC(politically correct) to do so and at the drop of a hat we risk being sued but those that wish to impose their “progressive” thinking upon all. It should actually be called “Anti-progressive.”
So what can you do to stop the extinction of this dying breed called a gentleman?

He that is without sin cast the first stone

Repeatedly we see posts in here in the blogs, and replies to blogs as well as other places where people attack others because they say they are right. Admittedly, I wouldn’t doubt if some of my posts sounded that way, which I honestly try to avoid, but I speak from my heart and I am after all human.
That is my point we are all human. When Jesus was confronted by the Pharisee to stone the adulteress He then made the statement that is the name of this post. None could do it, not even the Pharisee. When I post I try to deal with facts and how people’s actions are causing problems that can harm the society at large. Being Christian it is our duty to care for others before ourselves. So remaining silent is something we should not do and too many that call themselves Christian has done.
There is a fine line we must walk, we should never be adversarial. Sure, we can be firm, and point out facts that show the problem, and make people think, which is how I always try to frame my posts, and yet I still fail, because I am after I am human. The reason that there needs to be some type of strength in your words is because you have a true hope that you can cause people to realize the errors they are making because the errors they make could cause them suffering that may last a very, very, very long time. Those that call themselves Christian would never want anyone to fail and not see that God is real, for they should know what it means in the long run. For when we go into the next phase of our existence, it will be an eternal one. Eternal for both those that failed and those that realized the truth. We are told what will happen to those that fail. We are vaguely told what will happen to those that are accepted by God.
Why is it so vague? Because it will last forever and each person will have a different experience due to where they stand with God.
No one is without sin that walks upon this earth today. We have all made mistakes but to attack someone for their mistake is wrong, but it is also wrong to allow them. For after Jesus said what he stated unto those wishing to stone to woman, he then turned to her and told her to sin no more. Most leave out this part. Because this is the hardest for all of us to follow, mainly because it is the most important part of this entire episode, even though others would say the opposite.
Here is the important thing you need to learn from this. Yes we all will sin, even after we are saved, but if you are truly saved you will become remorseful and saddened over your actions. You will turn to God in prayer and ask if not beg for His forgiveness. As long has you have this type of attitude He will forgive you and eventually you may even forget you ever did that sin in the first places, which is as it should be. Though you will most likely stumble into other sin and start the process all over again, and why is that? Because we are only human.
That is why it is important to look to yourself first before you go to attack or criticize someone else. As it is also said in the Bible, remove the beam from your own eye before you try to remove the splinter from someone else’s eye. So the next time you are tempted to attack. Think, then pray, then think again. If you feel you must say something. Say it with facts and kindness, and realize that we all will screw up again.

Flower power now in power and boy are they making a psychedelic mess

As I think back over my youth, I think about what I saw on the news and how people protested this and protested that. Anti-religion, Anti-war, Anti-government, Anti- parents. Then I realize that the people that were doing this protesting are now those that have power in this nation. I think back of the last six years and I see how this country is starting to resemble what those in the late 1960s and early 1970s were protesting. They said God is evil and now God has been removed from the public and is constantly attacked every time some tries to place God back where He belongs. They said war was wrong and so pulled our troops out of areas where they were defending our nation from attacks by terrorist and now terrorist are running rampant and the threat to our nation is even worse than before 9/11. They were against the government and now are the government and so are ignoring the constitution, luckily, the Supreme Court has seen the light and is doing what those in congress should be doing.
They were hater their parents and so now they have made the government the parent and the youth are running wild and slaughtering they fellow classmates in their schools. Schools that were safe when God was there.
But no it is not their fault. They have done no wrong. It is still those that support war, it is still those that support a lawful government, it is those that support parents raising their own children with God as the center of it all that are at fault.
Our nation falls apart and they still cannot see that they caused the problem.
What can we do?
Return to God.
Remove incumbents that refuse to follow the constitution.
Return to God.
Reduce the national government and increase the state government.
Return to God.
Defend this nation by closing its boarders and attacking those that attack us first, which the terrorist HAVE done and promise to do again.
RETURN TO GOD!!!!!

The Delusional Humans

Throughout history, several things repeat themselves. One of the foremost is those that delude themselves into thinking that they are better than God is. This has even happened to popes by the way but usually by those with the most power at the particular time. Usually this delusion results in wars, but it always leads to death of innocents. In the crusades, which were ordered by men with a misconception of the Bible due to the fact the only the elite has access to it, it led to the death of Jews and Arabs alike. In the Soviet Union it was the removal of the Bible from the culture by humans who felt they knew better then God which led to millions dying including Christians, Jews and those that opposed the totalitarian elitist government. It was the removal of God for an elitist race mentality that led to approximately thirteen million, Jews, Christians, homosexuals, gypsies and others at the hands of a lunatic as well as millions of others that fought to overthrow him in World War II.
The phrase if you do not study history you are destine to repeat has never been truer than it does today. The ruling class kept the knowledge to themselves during the Crusades. Perverting the Bible to justify the killing of Jews and to invade the Middle East under the pretense that Jerusalem needed to be saved from the “heathens” when has you can tell in hindsight that it was purely for greed. It is that very mentality that those now with the power within the United States feel they are justified in their actions to destroy this country. Well this is wrong. One of the main factors that caused an end to the Crusades was that more and more people gained access to the Bible and learned of the true teachings within it. It is something those with power during the Middle Ages tried to stop, but failed. They failed because God is more powerful than humans are. It was through free-will that people learned the true and acted upon it.
It is now time for humans to act upon the teaching of the Bible and to stop those that are removing God and history from our schools. It is time to remove career politicians. It is time to change laws that will allow those that are corrupt within the government to be at the least fired and the most jailed. It is time for the common people to rise up and say we are not going to take it anymore. It is something that those in power have deluded themselves into thinking they are doing for the good of all, but in reality, they are doing it for themselves.
The last time this happened, it caused the Soviet Union to implode upon itself and it was the common people that stood up and said they are not going to take it anymore. They were in a worse place then we are today within the USA, but it is something we can change now by acting upon our given rights to vote. It is also important that we keep in contact with those in the government that represent us. How can they do business for us if they do not know what it is we desire? If you allow them to assume that allows the old maxim of “making an ass out of you (U) and me” come into play.
If those in national office will not make term limits for themselves, it is up to us to make them have them. How do we do this? Either we vote them out or we contact those in the state governments and petition them to make term limits for those that the state sent to Washington D.C. This is what is our rights are as a citizen of the United States and the respective state you live in. It is also our right to recall a politician that does not embody our views that we wish to have seen in Washington D.C.
Several senators did not come up for re-election. We have the right to petition for their recall if they are not doing what we sent them to D.C. to do. We need to make both parties realize that the days of the career politician is over and return this nation back to its original design.
I highly recommend the book “The Liberty Amendments” by Mark R. Levin

American: the good the bad and the ugly. A Fourth of July Tribute

The good is no longer here for the most part. The good had a heart attack that placed it into a coma in the late 1960’s when people decided that the USA would be better without God. Nothing is better without God. When there is no God there is slavery. When there is no God there is genocide. When there is no God there is lawlessness. When there is no God some humans think they are better than others humans. That is the bad and the ugly.
Today we live in the America of the bad and the ugly. The bad is an education that has been deluded to where the young adults are clay waiting to be molded by those that are in power. Which is exactly what they wanted. They removed history from the school so the statement that if you do not learn from history you are destine to repeat it.
Those in power… career politicians, government employees that have been working longer than twenty year. A prime example is Ms. Lerner who thinks she has done no wrong when in actual fact she had. It is those that destroy e-mails and smirk in front of congress and cannot accept that they are promoting lies and corruption.
The most corrupted and confused are those in the liberal party. They honestly believe they are doing good for the USA, but as has been proven and made clear in the last few years is that they are the most dangerous thing to have ever happen to this country. They are the ugly.
It is this mentality that humans can fix humans is completely wrong. Not only do these people need to be removed from authority and power but there needs to be a revival in the very faith that made this country in the first place. This country was founded on doctrines and polices made by men of faith. Men that believed in God and believed in the equality of all even though many of these principles took too long in many cases to come to be. The reason it took so long in many cases is because many acted in the believe that they were following God, but in reality they were following their own, human believes and desires.
God has never condoned slavery, God has never condoned hatred, and God had never condoned human dominance over other humans. It is up to the common folk as has happened throughout all time that God is the only way. That it is through following God’s teachings that has made the human race last as long as it has. It is when humans forget God that wrongs happens. God is being forced out by people right now. It is time God is returned to His rightful place and the reason this country was created. It is time to remove those that deny God and replace them with those that acknowledge God.

Review: Angel and the Badman (1947) – a portrait in salvation and faith

This John Wayne movie which he produced is something not seen in today’s cinema. It shows true Christianity and its influence on those that do not practice it. It is also the story of how a man finds the Lord.
The faith is shown through that of a family of Quakers and their community, which was built for the common use of all within it. A prime example within the movie is when John’s character Quirt Evans goes to a rancher that took over another Quaker’s homestead that had the community dam placed upon it. The rancher soon comes to see the way of kindness and sharing and becomes friendly to his neighbors that he had treated wrongly before.
We see Quirt change from a hardened man bent on revenge to a man that follows the way of God with the help of the woman he falls in love with.
We also see how those that knew him before have a hard time seeing that the man had changed.
I highly recommend this movie for those that wish to learn more on how those that call themselves Christian should really act.

Acceptance

When it comes to true Christianity, the person that accepts it changes. They no longer think as they use to think. They no longer act as they use to act. Sure, a lot of how they use to be is still there. Their basic personality had not changed in most cases, but how they respond is different. What use to make them angry does not. What use to give them pleasure does not. Even though some aspect of the person you once knew is still seen on the outside by those about them, by those that knew you before you completed your change will make assumptions. Some in time will see the change and come to accept this change in you. But there will be those that do not. They will label you a hypocrite and a liar. They will feel betrayed and abandoned.
Sure, you want to make them understand, especially if they are someone you love, but you must come to realize that this many never happen.
There will be also those that try to tell you that you can still live the life you use to live. They will say sure you can still live exactly like you did before and you are still a Christian and going to heaven. This is not true. You will be tempted, but if the Bible states it is a sin. IT IS A SIN. If you are still early into your Christian faith it is at this time you should seek out and find a good Christian home.
In my own personal growth into Christianity, I sought this out in several large Churches. To my dismay, this actually turned out to be a slide in the wrong direction. It took me decades to find a church home I felt right in and it was a small church. These from further research I feel is the way to go. Do not seek out a church that has hundreds or even thousands that attend it. Seek out a church that at its max one hundred or less. These small churches will actually greet you and accept you as someone seeking to learn your faith and allow you to grow. Will answer your questions and help you address your problems of faith when they arise. This is better than a church of hundreds where you become lost within the faces and no one will be able to help you out, as you may need.
As you grow in your faith, you will change. Sure you will still feel like the person you were before you asked Jesus into your heart, but things that once didn’t bother you will. Especially as you read the Bible and come to understand the message within it, and whom the ultimate author of the Bible is, for even though it was written by man, they received their inspiration from the Holy Ghost. Who directed them to write down the words of God and no other faith can trace it origins back to the beginning of record history itself except the Judeo-Christian faith.

The child abuse that is called abortion

First and foremost. If the mother’s life is in danger and the woman is pregnant due to a rape then a I am full support that if the woman chooses she should have an abortion. If there is an accidental pregnancy then should be allowed once with classes on how to avoid it in the future. When someone uses abortion to remove an unborn child just so she can go and have sex again though is child abuse at the least and human sacrifice at the most.
The way abortions are being done today is equal to the worship of a pagan god that demands you kill a baby upon it’s altar. It is used to allow the woman to live in sin and have sex freely with no consequences.
This is against everything that the Bible teaches and so is against God.
Those that call themselves Christian and support this child abuse then they really need to rethink where they stand in their faith.

Revelation 2
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; these things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

About me

I am forced today to do something that I have not wanted to do. I take no pride or pleasure in what I am about to type. But my hand is being forced by those that believe I write these postings for my self-glorification, which is the furthest thing from the truth for I know I am in no way perfect or near perfect, but I will stick only to my faith and how it came to me as best I can.
Now I know I have mentioned events in my past, but I told them in a way to help those reading to identify with me so they could see the truth in what I was trying to tell them, and that is all it was meant to do. I accepted Jesus into my life when I was twenty-five, but I did not become born-again until June 25, 1986 when I felt the Holy Spirit pour into me. On that day I spoke in tongues, and from time to time I have since then. For the next two years as I poured through the Bible and learned more and more about faith I was given dreams by God (Acts 2:17). Some of these dreams made it into the book I wrote because of them most I did not. Some I have posted here in this blog. Many were meant solely for me to grow in my faith and so I will never share them. Others like knowing a full month before it was made public that Jimmy Swaggart was committing adultery I tried to tell others but fell upon deaf ears.
From about the early nineties I entered in the time of my faith that I feel many slip into. It is neither an improvement in your faith or a step away. It is this type of faith that I call the grey zone you are neither hot nor cold for God. Those that are called lukewarm. It is a faith that I feel most fall into and are not fully aware they have. It is these that I seek to speak to more than any other person for they are mentioned within the book of Revelation and Jesus said it is these that he would spew from his mouth. It is these that think they shall be taken in the Rapture, but shall instead find themselves still here upon this earth. It is a place I knew I was in and for all I know still may be, for only Jesus can answer that question at this time.
Then 2013 happened, my year of Job, my soon to be ex-wife had allowed my apartment to become that of a hoarders. I begged and pleaded for her to address it, but she refused, and since I was working full time was unable to address on my own, because once I did clean, I would find a mess twice as large replacing it the next day. Then she was arrested for shoplifting. Two days later, I was evicted from my apartment. Two week later the management of the apartment made it impossible for me to move any of my personal property out so I lost all of my personal possessions and items of importance like photo albums were forever lost to me. During the entire year, one tribulation after another took place until I finally placed everything before God and throw myself upon His mercy.
It was through this year of tribulation that I learned how selfish I truly was. Even though I was nowhere near as selfish as I had been before I came to be born-again. It was through these trials that I learned that all must go to God. That all else comes before me. God first, family second, the world third and then just maybe me. I was given a burden on my heart to start posting first in Facebook and then finally in this blog. Why? So that I can cause others to think about where they stand with God. About if they are being selfish. If they are willing to understand that it is God and His Son Jesus that we owe our very existence too. Since there have been many times throughout history that it was through God that humans still walk upon this planet this very day. It was through God that the nation of the United States even exists and that the way it was structured exists.
I can go no further with this post.

The Realization

I have been upon this world for fifty-four years. I remember the assassination of JFK. I remember sitting in the school auditorium to watch the launch of Apollo 9 as it headed off to the moon (by the way, yes man actually walked on the moon). I remember telling my first wife the day before the event actually happened that the Challenger would explode upon take off, and her waking me from a nap due to a migraine telling me that is exactly what happened. There is much I have encountered, there is much I have seen and heard, but that pales in what is to come when this corrupted body finally gives out.
A few days ago, while I was writing another post I finally came to the full acceptance that this life we live is only temporary. Now I know I have been writing as such, but for some reason it was not those posts that gave me the full and complete realization.
What did it for me was when I knew without question I could sacrifice myself for someone else. Now I have asked this of myself more than once in the five plus decades, but this was the first time I actually had the answer. When I got this answer, I knew that I was ready to fully accept moving on from this existence into the next one. The only thing that I would wish for is that it took me straight into my new, perfect and immortal body. Will this happen? I do not know, but I do know without question that I feel I can overcome my fears that are a part of my corrupted body and stand and face whatever would cause me to sacrifice myself for another fellow human being.
