The re-crucifixion of Jesus

Just so we all are on the same page. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, only went upon the cross once. He only died upon it once. He then arose from the dead after going into hell and not only preaching unto those there but took the keys of hell from Satan and then returned to this plain of existence for forty day to teach and be seen. He then ascended into heaven and is still there ALIVE.
This is not the Christ which many wish to accept and follow though. So they re-crucify their version of Jesus.
Their version of Jesus did not die for their sin, he is just someone to hide behind and use as an excuse to continue to sin. Instead of being the Holy Lamb who shed His Holy blood to wash away our sin and allow us to stand proudly before God in plain view of His Gaze for we have accepted His Son and we have repented of our sins, turning away from them and casting them aside. No longer desiring to do them for we know they are an insult to God to do them. But again this is not the Jesus they re-crucify, theirs is a scapegoat instead of a lamb. Theirs is an excuse to continue to allow them to live in sin, for deep down they know that it is not allowed before God yet they still try and parade before God proud they live in the sin. Snubbing their nose at God and saying He is nothing that is worth giving away their sin for. Unaware that what they accept is a lie. They say this part of the Bible is good, but this part of the Bible is bad, twisting and turning God’s holy word into a perversion, even more hideous then the very sin they wish to continue to live within. It is this perversion of the Gospel this re-crucifixion of Jesus that is the worst sin of all, which is why liars are seen as the worst of sinners.
Galatians 1: 8 – But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Any that do not teach the FULL and COMPLETE Word of God and tells you that it is ok to live in sin, is per the Bible to “be accursed.” I wish none to suffer the horrors that are promised those that are found wanting in the eyes of the Lord. I beg you, I plead with you, repent. Turn from your sin and turn to Jesus for only His one crucifixion was enough for us all.
Isaiah 66: 24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: A sad trend

Over the past few months I have become more and more aware of a trend that when you truly look at the consequences it is something to truly feel sorrow about. I have written different blogs in the past about different aspects of this trend and I realize that I myself have no power to change it. I must add it never was my job to change it, but it still saddens me that so many are in for a horrible surprise, a surprise I may add that I don’t even know I would avoid. Why? Because I do not fully understand what are God’s plans. Do I have insight into these plans? Yes we do, but where I stand within them between me and God; I like everyone else can only speculate. All we can do is strive to follow the teaching of God that are written within the Bible.
The main core of the trend is the whole hearted desire for many to live in the lukewarm or grey as I call it. A deep desire to say that they are one with God yet most willingly live their lives outside of the God’s teachings. To say that it is ok to sin because they have asked Christ into their heart and He will accept them as they are. This is a twisting of the Bible. A legitimizing of the Word of God to allow themselves to live within a lie built upon a lie.
Time and again I have tried to follow the road that Christ has set me upon. To be a teacher of the Bible, to give insight into the word of God that most have never bothered to read. Allow the few to tell them that a certain way is the way Christ really meant for the word of God to be read, but in reality it is not, but the people listen none the same. Why? Because they have not bothered to learn the word of God for themselves. If they had they would know that to say they are one with God and yet live in sin is an insult to God. So much so that the Glorified form of Jesus Christ said he would spit those that thought this way from His Body.
So yes they may have been a part of the Body of Christ at one time, but they are no longer, because God only sees you in black and white; cold and hot; evil and good; sinner and non-sinner.
I have actually cried for those that I know and those that I do not know that live within the grey. I wept because I love them and it would make my heart sing to know that they will live a true eternal life that will allow them to explore all of God creation, but they instead call me a fanatic, a loon, a nut and even a Nazi hunter. I understand why they do this. I refuse to conform. I refuse to live the status quo, for I see that it is not what the Bible teaches. I see that all that is called sin in the Bible is just that sin. I see that if you refuse to turn from sin you are embracing it and choosing it over God. Many times in the New and the Old Testament of the Bible it is made clear, either accept God or accept sin. It is not one and or the other.
Do we sin once we accept God into our lives? Yes we do, but if we do not change, if we do not turn from sin and stop doing it no matter the pain required to do so then the Bible says we will lose the greatest gift of all, God’s Love. Yet many out there say “See Jesus is love and he accepts you as you are.” this phrase is nothing more than grey, then lukewarm.
In John 15, Hebrew 12 it clearly states that we must go through tough times. That we must suffer pain and anguish as we turn from sin and embrace and honor our Father God through His Son Jesus. If you do not cast away the sin then you wish to live in it. It is hard to cast sin aside and sometimes it can take decades to finally shed it from you, but only through Christ is that possible. God does accept you as you are when you come to him, but He will change you into something that is righteous and holy and it will hurt and you will not commit that sin again and you will respect and give praise to God. Trust me I know this all too well and it was not a fun experience but I don’t even think about those sins that were a part of me when I first came to Christ and I am no longer that man that came to Him in 1986 for He has remade me into His child, a servant of Christ and humans.

If you learn Leviticus you will learn if you are living in sin.

Now let me start by saying this. Jesus Christ went to the cross for all humanity. He did so to be the last sacrifice, the ultimate sacrifice. Even those that have embraced Christ as their savior have learned that not all sin is washed away even though Christ and His father do not see it does not mean it does not need to be addressed by us. As you grow in your salvation you will willingly cast aside sins that still remain within you. Major sins though if not cast out right away need to be acknowledged and addressed as soon as possible. Why? Because you wish to say that God is first and above all else especially your own desires.
Within the book of Leviticus is the tools given to the Jews after their Exodus from Egypt to allow them to commune and be seen by God. We Christians through the blood of Christ need to acknowledge that these sins exist, if they do, within us and then to pray for Christ to give us His strength to cast it from us. Will it be easy? In some cases yes in other cases no it will be difficult, for if we do not acknowledge the sins Christ died for upon the cross then we deny the fact that He even went to the cross.
So I do find it extremely important to know what sins Christ took upon Himself and suffered for me so that I will do my best to cast that sin from me. On a personal note I wish you to know just how difficult it is to cast some sins away. I have dealt with one sin that first hit me at the age of twelve. It was not until just over two months ago that I finally cast that sin aside and it has no part of me due to the glory of Christ. By the way I am now fifty-five. So for forty-three years I was plagued by a sin over and over until I finally turned it fully over to Christ and I have not looked back upon it once. This is the very thing Jesus is referring to in John 15.
So it is important that you go to the book of Leviticus. Read and especially read those things that are called sins, in particular when they require a blood sacrifice to become clean, for it is Christ own blood that cast this from you. It is extremely important that you also understand, that when you cast off a sin and truly turn from it you will never desire to do that sin ever again. It is of the utmost importance that you understand what I am saying here. Too many have this image just because they have asked Christ into their life that they can continue to live in sin. This is the furthest thing from the truth. You are placing the sin before God and so you are saying you would rather live in the sin then with God. God first, all others second and yourself including your sins last. If you place God first the sin will mean nothing to you.

There is a difference between seeking freedom and seeking the freedom to sin

Here is one of those things that people do not realize. Having the freedom to openly sin actually takes your freedom away from you. While seeking after true freedom can be costly not only in blood and treasure but requires all to adhere to a group of principles because it was so costly, but due to this is more worthy to receive once it is gotten. This lesson was learned by those that fought in World War II. The hardships they went through in some cases are to horrifying to comp template, but we must remember them. We must understand what it costs to have true freedom. For without understanding the cost this true freedom starts to turn into the freedom to sin which now plagues this nation as well as others.
I dread the day when many will finally come to realize the truth. It in many cases it will itself be more horrifying to comp template

Watered down faith

More and more I see and witness things that just astound me. As I have stated in other post believe in God, His Son Jesus and the Bible is black and white. Yet I see those that have fallen for the propaganda given out by the humans. When you think upon it who are the humans going to favor? Why themselves of course.
So this is a huge factor in how people come to treat their “beliefs.” God through the Bible makes it very clear. Live in sin or out of sin. Living out of sin does not mean you will never sin, but when it happens you will feel guilt. It is this guilt people do not wish to experience. So they try to tell all that the world is no longer black and white but is grey. They try to shut down those that are saying the truth by call them the liars, judges and the hate mongers when in reality they have become the liars, judges and hate mongers. They are so determined to be allowed to live in sin that they blind themselves to what is written in the Bible. Even to the point of using the Bible to accomplish their goal. Taking selectively from it yet ignoring important statement and facts mostly spoken by Jesus Christ Himself. You must take the entire book and you must know the entire book for those that hate God know the entire Bible and use it to their advantage.

To deny why Christ went upon the cross is to deny Him

Within the book of Leviticus is the laws Moses received from God upon Mount Sinai. Each sin is listed and every type of sacrifice is named according to each sin from minor offerings to even the death of the person. These sin are why Jesus Christ went to the cross and the sacrifice He made from being beaten, whipped, nailed to the cross and even His death were why Leviticus was written and why Christ did what he did.
Many in today’s world though do not acknowledge the book of Leviticus. They use the statement “Jesus died for our sin this book is now moot.”
I say, if you do not know what is a sin how can you know you are clean of it? All of the Bible is relevant and important:
2 Timothy 3: 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
If you deny any part of the Bible you are in essence denying Jesus Christ.
Matthew 10: 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
So I challenge all to read the book of Leviticus and accept what is written within it. If it is called a sin within that book then it is a sin. If it is still a part of your life and you feel no remorse in committing these sins or sin then are you in denial?

Confessions of a screwed up middle aged man: Only through Christ

I use to be a liar. I use to lust after women. I use to be a selfish self-centered piece of garbage. I use to think people owed me something. I had a few other sins that are even too heinous to place into this post.
Throughout my childhood and teenage years I looked at and read the Bible as well as watched movies with a Biblical theme, but I never REALLY asked Christ into my life. I was like most out there in the world, thinking myself to be a Christian but in reality I was not. I was at the most a hypocrite at the least an ignorant male. I thought myself to be a good person, but I saw more than once how I hurt others, was it intentional? Sometimes I would have to say yes.
On June 24th 1986 everything changed for me. On that night I asked Jesus Christ into my heart. On that night I was filled with the Holy Spirit. I stopped being a liar that day and I stopped be selfish and self-centered. Did I mess up? Yes I did. Did I totally stop lying? No I did not, but I was no longer the liar that I was. Living a lie within a lie to hide a lie. No that person died that night and the person I was when I was twelve returned to live within me and so lying become something that happens very rarely.
Do I still do selfish acts? Yes I do, but not to the degree that all that is important to me is me. I am quick to realize that I have done a selfish act and I feel remorse and sorrow over my actions and when possible I ask forgiveness from the person I have wronged. (Which is usually my wife). I have a conscience now where before I did not.
Not all my sins died that night. Some sins are still with me, but as each day passes these sins fall away dead and useless. It was not till a few months ago that I stopped lusting after women. As for my more heinous sins those did die that summer night in 1986, but I know for a fact that they did cross my mind once or twice in the last twenty-nine years but I turned it over to God through Christ and soon those thoughts fell away dead once again.
I know it is Satan testing me. I know it is also God pruning me and making me into not only a better servant unto Him but a better person.
I write this confession hoping it will shine a light unto to those that are like I was. Thinking they are “Christian” when in reality they are not. Through Jesus there is truly a removal of sin. You are no longer the person you once were. You are truly born again and you no longer think like you did just a short time before you asked Christ into you. I know that I become the person I was before the age of accountability took over and I fell deeper and deeper into sin. That person of sin is dead as are the sins that were within that version of me.
As I stated before. I am by no means perfect and any that say all your sins are taken from you when you are born again are not being honest; not only with you but themselves. It is an ongoing journey. One that will have no ending till God calls us unto Him.
As I said the other day to someone that posted “I thank God that I have awaken to another day.” my reply to them was “God let you wake up because you have forgotten to do something for Him.” Each day I awaken here in this temporal life I strive to understand what it is I have not done for God that makes Him say “It is not his time to come to Me.” Someday He will call me and it is then through my continued struggle to know and learn more about Him and His Son and their ways that I will know that I have done well for Him and I will look upon Him with joy and happiness, for I feel he will say unto me “You have done well.”

It is not through hate but concern and you could even say love.

One of the favorite excuses used by those that are not “Christian” is that those that are hate them because they life in sin.
If someone is a true “Christian” this is furthest from the truth.
You see those that live in sin do not understand what lies ahead for them in their future. They live under the belief that this life we all now live is all there is to their existence. This is a lie. The main lie of many they have been told by others that wish for them to continue to live in sin.
This life we all live at this moment is short compared to what is promised all of us. After this life will come first the thousand year reign of Christ after the Tribulation, but even this time period that is nearly equal to ten average lifetimes is massive short. What we are promised in an eternal life. One that will last billions upon billions of years. To you now start to see why those that call themselves “Christian” are so concerned about those that live in sin.
“If we are all promised an eternal life why does it matter if some sin or not?” someone just asked. Here is the answer:
It is important because of how the billions upon billions of year will be spent. Those that follow believe in God and those that made it past the Great White Throne Judgment will be able to serve God throughout His entire creation; the universe.
Those that did not make it past the judgment well suffer what is called “the second death” They will not be physically dead, but they may as well be to those that serve God. For what is to befall them is a horror beyond any horror film ever made. Why? Because this will be real and eternal. Never end pain, agony and anguish. They will be cast into the pit of fire. A huge area upon earth that will have flames roaring out of it. Once cast within will be all that failed the Great White Throne Judgment. All that denied God. All that lived in sin. All that sought their reward within the short temporal 100 years of their first life. Within this pit will be worms that will feed upon all that are within the flames adding to their agony an agony that will last billions upon billions of year.
This is why those that are “Christian” as you to stop sinning, but have it your way. Call these words lies, call them ignorant, and call them stupid. But understand this I will cry for you when I see all that I tried to help be cast into this pit. I will weep because I begged you to listen and pleaded with you to stop. Why? Because I never wanted to suffer such a horrid fate and it will hurt me to my core.
Revelation 21: 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Isaiah Chapter 66: 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. 24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Any that would wish this fate upon anyone is not “Christian.”

“Just go for it!”

These are the words that someone fully engrossed into a sinful life was encouraging another person to join them in their sin. When I heard this by accident on a show designed for teenagers to watch I fully understood something that has always been at the back of my mind but this gave it credence.
It is far easier to sin then it is not to sin. This is why throughout the Bible we are told to teach our children of God and of what He expects of us so they will be able to resist such temptations as this person encountered in this show. What is worse is that it actually made it to the television screen.
Too long people that profess to be “Christian” watch shows like this and allow their children to do the same. We are told to turn from sin and to gather together to strengthen ourselves so we can avoid such temptations. Is this being done now? No for if it were these shows would have never made into our homes. They would be blocked and our children would be told not to give support to these networks and to turn our attentions to better things. In time if the show actually aired it would soon be dropped due to low ratings. Instead it is watched and none truly do anything about it.
It is far too easy to fall into sinful ways then not too. The latter is an ongoing struggle for we are clearly warned in 2 Peter 2 that in the end times many that thought themselves saved will fall away into sin. Yet we can allow God to win if we so desire, but it will take courage, strength of will and a willingness to turn from such encounters as was shown in this show and it also takes courage to turn off the show and even block the network. If more do this you may be surprised at the results.

2 Peter 2: 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

A Purging

In John 15 Jesus teaches the disciples about those that are within the body of Christ. Now I have mentioned other parts of this in other postings, but now I wish to discuss the “taking away” or “purging” that God will put us through time to time.
In this discussion of Jesus the Vine He mentions that His Father is the caretaker of the vine and that he will prune the branches time to time so as to allow them to bear more fruit.
It is the pruning that this posting is about. When you prune a plant. You do not just do it once. It is a continual and ongoing task, especially during the growing season. What God wishes to prune or purge is our sins. Even though we have asked Christ into our hearts these verses within John 15 shows all that even though we are saved we continue to sin. Any and all can agree upon this as they should. If they do not agree then they have a misunderstanding of the Bible and need to be corrected and shown these verses and have them explained to them. Anyway, back on topic.
So this purging that we must continue to go through throughout our entire temporal life is something we all must endure. Sometimes it will be easy. Other times we may have to go through a terrible event to cause us to awaken and allow God to clean us and make us better for Him. The death of someone you love, your home being burned down, floods, tornadoes. These are all examples of extreme events and they all place a strain upon us and in most times a strain in our believes. It is through such things as well as the easier things like a simple argument can be things that make us change our ways in a manner that is a bless unto us and ultimately God. What is the final goal in all this is to be a better servant to God and unto all of God’s creation. We are being taught to be the co-rulers of this earth during the Thousand Year Reign of Christ, which is just another step in our eternal service to God.
It is through this purging of this sin and then that sin that God places these burdens upon us. How else could he cause us to truly learn and change? As I mentioned before it is like growing up all over again just spiritually instead of physically. Is this not why Jesus stated we must be born-again in the spirit? We come into our salivation as new-born babes that need to be nurtured and supported. So we must seek out a good church home. My personal recommendation is a small church not a large one, for it is too easy to get lost in the crowd in a large one. Then when you are a spiritual teen you start to do things on your own, but still God tests and cleans you. Then one day you can be a spiritual adult. Someone that has the knowledge and the wisdom to offer up nuggets of insight into the wonders of God’s glory until it is time that he either calls you into heaven for a short time or the Rapture itself occurs. Only time will tell whichever is to be first.
