sin

He that is without sin cast the first stone

Repeatedly we see posts in here in the blogs, and replies to blogs as well as other places where people attack others because they say they are right. Admittedly, I wouldn’t doubt if some of my posts sounded that way, which I honestly try to avoid, but I speak from my heart and I am after all human.
That is my point we are all human. When Jesus was confronted by the Pharisee to stone the adulteress He then made the statement that is the name of this post. None could do it, not even the Pharisee. When I post I try to deal with facts and how people’s actions are causing problems that can harm the society at large. Being Christian it is our duty to care for others before ourselves. So remaining silent is something we should not do and too many that call themselves Christian has done.
There is a fine line we must walk, we should never be adversarial. Sure, we can be firm, and point out facts that show the problem, and make people think, which is how I always try to frame my posts, and yet I still fail, because I am after I am human. The reason that there needs to be some type of strength in your words is because you have a true hope that you can cause people to realize the errors they are making because the errors they make could cause them suffering that may last a very, very, very long time. Those that call themselves Christian would never want anyone to fail and not see that God is real, for they should know what it means in the long run. For when we go into the next phase of our existence, it will be an eternal one. Eternal for both those that failed and those that realized the truth. We are told what will happen to those that fail. We are vaguely told what will happen to those that are accepted by God.
Why is it so vague? Because it will last forever and each person will have a different experience due to where they stand with God.
No one is without sin that walks upon this earth today. We have all made mistakes but to attack someone for their mistake is wrong, but it is also wrong to allow them. For after Jesus said what he stated unto those wishing to stone to woman, he then turned to her and told her to sin no more. Most leave out this part. Because this is the hardest for all of us to follow, mainly because it is the most important part of this entire episode, even though others would say the opposite.
Here is the important thing you need to learn from this. Yes we all will sin, even after we are saved, but if you are truly saved you will become remorseful and saddened over your actions. You will turn to God in prayer and ask if not beg for His forgiveness. As long has you have this type of attitude He will forgive you and eventually you may even forget you ever did that sin in the first places, which is as it should be. Though you will most likely stumble into other sin and start the process all over again, and why is that? Because we are only human.
That is why it is important to look to yourself first before you go to attack or criticize someone else. As it is also said in the Bible, remove the beam from your own eye before you try to remove the splinter from someone else’s eye. So the next time you are tempted to attack. Think, then pray, then think again. If you feel you must say something. Say it with facts and kindness, and realize that we all will screw up again.

It is not a license to sin

Accepting God into your life is something that changes you. I know the term has been used but it is fitting, you are born again. You shed off the way you were before you accepted God. Yes, there are times you are tempted by things you did in the old life, but if you know they are wrong you do your best not to partake of them. Sure, you will fail time to time, but as long as you realize you are not doing right and make an effort to avoid doing it again then you are on the right track.
There are those that do not believe this or feel that saying they accept God they are free to behave exactly as they always have. Well I am sorry to tell you this, but that is not true. If this is how you think, then most likely you really have not accepted God into your life.
To be born again most of who you were is gone. That person was the dead you. I am reminded of a t-shirt that was offered from the folks of “Duck Dynasty” It had a flat line that met the cross and then after that it was a heartbeat.
Being Christian is to live in the world but not be part of it. In the world people commit sins that are told to us in the Bible as being wrong. I see people and even religious organizations saying you can keep your sin and God will embrace you. Yes, God loves us all, but not the sin. As long as you continue to sin you are telling God you do not care what He wants for you. This is selfishness.
Once you have truly accepted God into your heart most of you will not want to sin, but since we are human we still will but we will become remorseful and repentant. Then we will turn to our Father and plead for his forgiveness and He will accept this because He sees that we are sincere.
What God calls sin has not changed. What human calls a sin has. God is right and humans are wrong. Turn to God and be born again.

Life— the free trail at eternity.

We are promised in the Bible that when the time comes we will be called up to be with the Lord forever. We will have the body that is corruptible to be replaced with an incorruptible and immortal body.
This life is nothing more than a trial period to see how we handle the use of our Life. Like any trial offers you look to see if the product is to your liking.
It is also to see if you will care for the product.
Like all products there are certain rules and stipulations that need to be followed. If you do not follow them than when you return the product damaged you will have to pay for the damage caused to it.
This is what we are told will take place. In Revelation chapter 20 the user’s manual of our life will be examined and if damage was done and occurred to our life then we have to pay for the damage done to it at that time.
For those that took good care of their life they shall be rewarded with a life that will last for billions of years.
Do the laws laid down in Genesis, Exodus and Deuteronomy apply as the “rules and stipulations”. I would say yes. Since Jesus stated he was not there to replace the law, but to fulfill it.
Throughout the centuries certain acts were open and exposed to the world. In the last one hundred or so years many of these behaviors have been covered and hidden away. Now these deeds are returning to being exposed once again. Many decry their return from behind locked doors and whispers. I do not. I feel that if you wish to choose the fate of your life. Do so in the light of day. Allow all to know what you choose.
We are also told not to judge, for by the very standard we judge others so shall we be judged. What we are told to do is to pray for those that choose the life of sin. Teach them what is right. Allow them the opportunity to repent if they so choose. Love them as a brother or sister, for that is what they are.
As long as we try to instruct them, our fellow humans, on how to use the user’s manual then some will decide to treat their life correctly. Then when the time comes they will be able to get their new life. A life that will last beyond all time. A life that will allow them to witness all the wonders of the universe. A universe created by God.
