Why in the Christian believe is Jesus the way to God?
From the days when Abraham was first instructed to give sacrifice of a lamb unto the worship of God the foundation was laid for Him to be the way. The lamb was to be pure and unblemished, and believe it or not so was Jesus. No matter what you have been told, he never sinned, nor did he know a woman. For He must needed to be a virgin sacrifice like those thousands of lambs that were given unto to God from the very first one Abraham gave unto our Father in heaven.
That is one of the things that makes Jesus different, and then there is another. But what is it? The one thing most have the biggest problem accepting. The fact that He rose from the dead, that fact that He is alive this very moment. Here is something pastor and priest don’t say, but since I am a laymen I have no trouble saying since it requires the ability to think using science. There are those that believe that there is multiple dimensions. It is actually something that has been taught for centuries without many putting two and two together. What is heaven? It is a place beyond this place of existence that we now exist within. If so then Heaven is a different dimension.
God is real, and so is His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. What they ask us to do and not do is needed to be done for a reason. There is an ultimate plan. God wants us to live forever, but we are to be tested due to the sins of those before us. We are to be tested due to the actions of Kane. We are to be test due to those that walked the earth before the flood that required the arc that Noah used to allow creation to continue.
Jesus is our redemption, for He become the human sacrifice, replacing the lamb, to allow us to be welcome before God. Clean of all our sins no matter how great they were, but we must ask Christ into our hearts. If you honestly ask him into your heart those sins that are told us is wrong within the Bible become something we have no want to do. It becomes something that upsets us if we slip back into them and we beg once again for God to forgive, which He does through His Son. Why? Because He knows we are not perfect yet.
Nevertheless, there will be a time when we will be perfect, and on that day all will praise the Lord our God upon His throne, next to which His Son Jesus sits on His right hand. What will be amazing to many is that they will realize that it took imperfection to make them worthy through Christ to stand before the creator of the universe.
Jesus is the only way to God for He is the Messiah. The Bible is the only tool that truly teaches of Christ, and what is required for us to be able to know what we need to do to reach God.
Do not believe those that say you can live in sin and still go to heaven. You cannot. If you truly believe you are saved you will know it. You will not want to live in any type of sin, for within this sin you will know you are corrupting that which is pure and holy and special unto to God, through His son Jesus Christ
Jesus
The forever place.
For centuries, it has been heaven, and it is understandable that people think and believe that once they die it is heaven that they will go to. That is true, but it is only a temporary place that we are to visit. Call it a waiting room if you like.
The real forever place will be the entire universe. Why else is it so large. We are promised that there will be a rapture of those that are present when the time of the Tribulation begins. Then there is the White Throne Judgment where the people that go through it will have their life’s seen like an open book for all to see. Those that pass this judgment will be like those that were at the rapture. Given an immortal and perfect body in place of the corruptible one, we now live within. An immortal body, can you grasp the meaning in those words. A human body that will not suffer illness or age and will last for billions of years.
What we will do in these bodies is only speculation, but it is certain for those that either make it past the White Throne, or accepted Christ into their heart before the rapture will have a glorious and wonderful life. Why? Because we will be serving the Lord our God and fulfilling those tasks that he assigns to us. That is the true forever and ever, which is said as you say the Lord’s pray if you read it fully and completely.
Then there is the other side of the coin. For in actuality God has promised all the children of Adam an eternal life in an immortal body. Those that do not make it past the White Throne Judgment have another destiny. It is one that is too terrible to put into words. Why? Because when those that fail realize that they too have an immortal body. A body that cannot die. A body that will last billions of years just like those that did make it past the judgment, but they have a different fate. A fate that will last as long as their bodies do. They will never sleep, for what they will go through will be beyond comprehension. They will beg to die because of it, but it will never happen. All because they turned their backs on God, and if they did not know of God then it was due to some horrible deeds they did within this corruptible life that made it impossible for them to be welcome before the Throne of God.
Those that know that their actions and behavior is something God has said not to do yet they do it. Some even do it joyfully. If you live a life that is considered a sin to God, I beg you turn away from it. Seek out the Son of God. Turn to Jesus and ask Him into your life even if you have to fall to your knees and beg for your forgiveness. Know that there will be times when you will falter and fall, but pick yourself up and continue upon the journey that will lead you to ultimately stand before God in joy, singing and praise of the One Most High. Then you too can come to enjoy that forever place.
A friend’s post
Today I read a friend’s post on Facebook. The more I thought on it the more it bothered me. In the first part of it he said “how does someone that calls themselves Christian act.” This is paraphrased by the way.
The word “act” which was not paraphrased bothered me.
Now I must say that he went on to state that the only way into to heaven is through Jesus and asking Jesus into your heart. This I fully agree with for those that have been exposed to Christian believes and teachings, but there are still those out there that have never heard of not only Jesus but also the Bible. For these people their actions will be how they are judged at the white throne judgment, but this is not how those that have heard of God, Jesus and the Bible will be judged at this time.
Those that have heard of the Trinity, God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Ghost. These people must answer if they have asked Jesus into the heart and souls. Those in the United Stated have heard of the Trinity. Many believe they are Christian. Many others have turned their back upon God and denied that God even exists. There are even those that call themselves Christian but in reality are not.
When someone accepts Jesus and you ask Him into your life a real change occurs within you. You begin to change. For some a change that completely created a new person immediately. For most, it is a gradual change that can take days, months or even years to fully see how you have become a new person.
If you truly stand before God, pleading for His Son to come into your life you will see and feel the difference. There will be no need, want or desire to “act.” For you will do it because you know it is the right way to behave and act. Sure, you will slip and fall time to time, but if your faith is real, you will pick yourself up and once again continue that journey that will in time lead you first to heaven and then finally passed the white throne to an eternal life in an eternal body.
He that is without sin cast the first stone
Repeatedly we see posts in here in the blogs, and replies to blogs as well as other places where people attack others because they say they are right. Admittedly, I wouldn’t doubt if some of my posts sounded that way, which I honestly try to avoid, but I speak from my heart and I am after all human.
That is my point we are all human. When Jesus was confronted by the Pharisee to stone the adulteress He then made the statement that is the name of this post. None could do it, not even the Pharisee. When I post I try to deal with facts and how people’s actions are causing problems that can harm the society at large. Being Christian it is our duty to care for others before ourselves. So remaining silent is something we should not do and too many that call themselves Christian has done.
There is a fine line we must walk, we should never be adversarial. Sure, we can be firm, and point out facts that show the problem, and make people think, which is how I always try to frame my posts, and yet I still fail, because I am after I am human. The reason that there needs to be some type of strength in your words is because you have a true hope that you can cause people to realize the errors they are making because the errors they make could cause them suffering that may last a very, very, very long time. Those that call themselves Christian would never want anyone to fail and not see that God is real, for they should know what it means in the long run. For when we go into the next phase of our existence, it will be an eternal one. Eternal for both those that failed and those that realized the truth. We are told what will happen to those that fail. We are vaguely told what will happen to those that are accepted by God.
Why is it so vague? Because it will last forever and each person will have a different experience due to where they stand with God.
No one is without sin that walks upon this earth today. We have all made mistakes but to attack someone for their mistake is wrong, but it is also wrong to allow them. For after Jesus said what he stated unto those wishing to stone to woman, he then turned to her and told her to sin no more. Most leave out this part. Because this is the hardest for all of us to follow, mainly because it is the most important part of this entire episode, even though others would say the opposite.
Here is the important thing you need to learn from this. Yes we all will sin, even after we are saved, but if you are truly saved you will become remorseful and saddened over your actions. You will turn to God in prayer and ask if not beg for His forgiveness. As long has you have this type of attitude He will forgive you and eventually you may even forget you ever did that sin in the first places, which is as it should be. Though you will most likely stumble into other sin and start the process all over again, and why is that? Because we are only human.
That is why it is important to look to yourself first before you go to attack or criticize someone else. As it is also said in the Bible, remove the beam from your own eye before you try to remove the splinter from someone else’s eye. So the next time you are tempted to attack. Think, then pray, then think again. If you feel you must say something. Say it with facts and kindness, and realize that we all will screw up again.
Acceptance
When it comes to true Christianity, the person that accepts it changes. They no longer think as they use to think. They no longer act as they use to act. Sure, a lot of how they use to be is still there. Their basic personality had not changed in most cases, but how they respond is different. What use to make them angry does not. What use to give them pleasure does not. Even though some aspect of the person you once knew is still seen on the outside by those about them, by those that knew you before you completed your change will make assumptions. Some in time will see the change and come to accept this change in you. But there will be those that do not. They will label you a hypocrite and a liar. They will feel betrayed and abandoned.
Sure, you want to make them understand, especially if they are someone you love, but you must come to realize that this many never happen.
There will be also those that try to tell you that you can still live the life you use to live. They will say sure you can still live exactly like you did before and you are still a Christian and going to heaven. This is not true. You will be tempted, but if the Bible states it is a sin. IT IS A SIN. If you are still early into your Christian faith it is at this time you should seek out and find a good Christian home.
In my own personal growth into Christianity, I sought this out in several large Churches. To my dismay, this actually turned out to be a slide in the wrong direction. It took me decades to find a church home I felt right in and it was a small church. These from further research I feel is the way to go. Do not seek out a church that has hundreds or even thousands that attend it. Seek out a church that at its max one hundred or less. These small churches will actually greet you and accept you as someone seeking to learn your faith and allow you to grow. Will answer your questions and help you address your problems of faith when they arise. This is better than a church of hundreds where you become lost within the faces and no one will be able to help you out, as you may need.
As you grow in your faith, you will change. Sure you will still feel like the person you were before you asked Jesus into your heart, but things that once didn’t bother you will. Especially as you read the Bible and come to understand the message within it, and whom the ultimate author of the Bible is, for even though it was written by man, they received their inspiration from the Holy Ghost. Who directed them to write down the words of God and no other faith can trace it origins back to the beginning of record history itself except the Judeo-Christian faith.
Immortal continued
In previous posts, I have mentioned that we all will live an immortal life. It is one of those things that is not mentioned much in Christian circles and I really do not know why. It may be they cannot get their head wrapped around such a huge bit of information. In the Bible, it is a fact that we are all promised a perfect and immortal body. As I have stated before as well is how we act in this temporary life will determine how things go beyond that point. What follows this will be speculation, but those that study science know there must be speculation as long as there are some basic facts to follow. Therefore, I will stick to the facts given and then speculate from those facts. I will not name where in the Bible I am getting this. If you really want to know, I suggest you get a Bible and start reading. (NOTE: there will be those that state that the Bible is not fact, but many elements within it have been proven through science. More so then many other theories being thrown about has fact when they are actually nothing but concepts given life because someone with a doctorate said so.)
I will start with the basics, which is humanity survives beyond Armageddon. People will continue to live their life have children and help the devastated world to recover from what just transpired. Nations will either continue or come into being and all will know that God is real as is His Son Jesus, the latter of which they will be able to see and hear in person.
Those that are called “the first resurrection” will become leaders and priest to those that are upon the earth and will do so for one thousand years and work directly with and for Jesus. This is the next step in becoming accustom to being able to live forever.
Many have lived lives upon this earth being taught and believing that this is all the life we will ever have. To me this is one of the saddest things to have ever happened. If people had been taught that through living a good life. Following the teaching of Christ and living a life, that turns you from sin. No matter which sin it was. No matter how great that sin was that if you endured through temptation. That if you were tempted to look upon those of the same sex that if you were tempted to look upon your neighbors’ wife. That if you fought this temptation and overcame it you would be considered worthy to live as a priest right beside Jesus, but not just for twenty year, not just forty, not even one hundred year, but for a thousand years. Alive, breathing, talking, living a live where the sun rises and the sets, living a life where you play with your pets, cook food for those that you love, be with someone you love.
Just think on that. You have a body that does not age. A body that does not suffer from pains of age. A body that does not fail you. That is what we are promised. Every single person that has ever lived. That is alive this very moment IS promised this body.
However, what is the catch? Well there is one. God wants your name to be written in the book of life. If it is, you have millions of years to look forward too. If it is not you still have millions of years to look forward to, but at a terrible cost. It is a cost I do not wish any to have to suffer through; please I ask you not allow yourself to miss out of the wonders that lie before all of us.
Wonders of the birth of a planet. Wonders of the beauties that lie billions upon billions of miles away from where you sit or stand at this very moment. Wonders that can only be reached by accepting the one that gave His life just so you COULD and SHOULD be able to enjoy it. Because God found that all humans are special. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that He will take upon Himself our sins so that we can STAND before GOD.
Live life like there is a tomorrow (because there is)
Some understanding of the Bible has been lost over time and never truly understood and may not have been taught correctly. It is something I have tried to explain before, but few understood (Life— the free trail at eternity). Many go around both in religion and outside of it seeking through themselves a way to have immortality. If not through some type of scientific discovery through changing how the world exist through some type of cultural change. Now I do understand how this can come about. As of yet only two people have risen from the dead. The first was Lazarus who then again died and then Jesus, who then ascended into heaven so He is not here in person to see. There is also two others that have yet to experience death, they are Ezekiel and Elijah, but again it is not the time to see these two.
So people think there is only a short period in which they can be important to the world as a whole. This is one of the biggest misconceptions ever.
Our lives are being recorded in a book, each person their own book. Within it is every single action, thought and non-action we have ever done or not done as the case may be. This is being done for every single person that lived, is alive or will live. This has been done even if you never heard of God. For those that have not heard of God how they behaved will be how they make it through the next part of our immortal live. For those that have heard of God it is going to be tougher on which way you spend your immortal life. It is said it is better for those that never heard of God, and this is why it was said.
No matter what occurs every single person is promised an immortal life. So how we live our lives now IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
Living like there is no tomorrow is not the correct mentality anyone should have. Living to only please yourself is actually the worst idea ever put out there.
Live in preparation for tomorrow. A tomorrow that will allow you to see things of such wonder that they are beyond the ability of a mere mortal to even attempt to put words too.
Live not for yourself, because we are not promised any rewards in this life, but in the immortal life to come, we are promised rewards.
Live today for God and for his Son Jesus Christ who died for you upon a cross so you would not have to live an immortal life in a place no one should ever want to live in.
Understand that all that love God wants everyone to love Him as well and to join in the promised immortal reward yet to come. Do not be stuck behind in a place you do not want to be in. Turn to God and accept Him through His Son Jesus.
It is not a license to sin
Accepting God into your life is something that changes you. I know the term has been used but it is fitting, you are born again. You shed off the way you were before you accepted God. Yes, there are times you are tempted by things you did in the old life, but if you know they are wrong you do your best not to partake of them. Sure, you will fail time to time, but as long as you realize you are not doing right and make an effort to avoid doing it again then you are on the right track.
There are those that do not believe this or feel that saying they accept God they are free to behave exactly as they always have. Well I am sorry to tell you this, but that is not true. If this is how you think, then most likely you really have not accepted God into your life.
To be born again most of who you were is gone. That person was the dead you. I am reminded of a t-shirt that was offered from the folks of “Duck Dynasty” It had a flat line that met the cross and then after that it was a heartbeat.
Being Christian is to live in the world but not be part of it. In the world people commit sins that are told to us in the Bible as being wrong. I see people and even religious organizations saying you can keep your sin and God will embrace you. Yes, God loves us all, but not the sin. As long as you continue to sin you are telling God you do not care what He wants for you. This is selfishness.
Once you have truly accepted God into your heart most of you will not want to sin, but since we are human we still will but we will become remorseful and repentant. Then we will turn to our Father and plead for his forgiveness and He will accept this because He sees that we are sincere.
What God calls sin has not changed. What human calls a sin has. God is right and humans are wrong. Turn to God and be born again.
Lucky Thirteen
To be called an apostle you must be personally chosen by Jesus. When Jesus walked amongst us in the world, he chose twelve, each symbolizing the tribes of Israel. One day though there was a man that was prosecuting members of the early church, his name was Saul. He had an encounter though that would change his life. One day Jesus appeared to him in person and called him to be his apostle to the gentiles. He took a new name that day, and became known to all as Paul the thirteenth disciple of Jesus.
This to me, made those gentiles that embraced Christianity, the thirteenth tribe of Israel. Thus making the number thirteen a lucky number.
Hit a rough patch
Hit a rough patch today. Listening to my Christian music station at the moment trying to get my mind around the events of today. Trying to wrap it all up and hand it over to God. This is one of those things I have not quite figured out how to do though.
Last year I was so overwhelmed with so much turmoil that I nearly never stopped saying the Lord’s pray over and over. The Lord brought me though that and I give Him all glory and praise for that.
Last year is not this year. Today is not yesterday.
Just writing this is allow me to get my mind back on the right track.
Each day is different. Each day has different trials. Some you can face alone due to past trials that God has placed you through. But there are times when the weight of several events in one day just seem to hit you all at once. That is now, that is today.
Again and again I repeat “Praise you Lord God, Praise you Lord Jesus.”
It is a familiar place that I have been to be for and here I sit typing. I survived those past events. I will survive this event until the Lord decides it is time for me not to be here or the rapture occurs.
“All Praise and Glory unto God the Lord Almighty. The creator of the universe.”
